The World’s Best New Restaurants in 2025, Revealed

Described as the most exciting Chinese restaurant to pop up in Hong Kong since The Chairman, this chic green-and-white space is run by veteran chef Sui Hin-Chi and rising star Oliver Li. Perched in the central district, its second-floor location in an office building makes it feel like a bit of a secret despite the buzz surrounding it. - Liv Kelly

A memorable evening of good food. The most memorable dishes are crab meat with a crispy topping, abalone soup, lobster with aged radish and the rice. The dishes with aged radishes are surprisingly delicious. Food is well-seasoned. The 10-courses menu is highly recommended.

Beautifully crafted and yummy food at JEE! The memorable dishes are the min honey -glazed eel puff, geoduck clam with fish noodles, abalone in chicken soup, threadfin and the roasted pigeon! The dishes are more of the salty side but it’s ok when paired with wine! Staff were very attentive and it was a pleasant experience dining here!

Amazing experience at Jee, best French/HK fusion food I have had in Hong Kong. We ordered the 10-course menu and it was flawless from the beginning till the end. All the dishes were packed with lots of flavors, finesse and technique. Excellent value for money too. Highly recommended

We had the 10 course + wine paring it was 🤌🏻 Very good job on the paring and I love most of the dishes, some of the dish didn’t really hit but they’re not bad. Love the white asparagus sorbet, def worth a try!

The restaurant interior is contemporary and cozy. The lunch is $388 per head. The chicken broth is creamy and rich in taste! It is not oily at all, yummy. Threadfish with baby Choi sum is stunning! The fish is cooked perfectly, it is crispy outside and soft inside , the saltiness of threadfish is just right, together with soft baby Choi sum, yummy Roasted pigeon is perfect, it is so tender and juicy, together with a bit sweet from black sugar and a bit sourness of the plum sauce, it is so delicious! The fried (rice) is not fried rice but it is crispy and texture is good, won’t be too soft nor too hard, the flavor is rich . The almond milk with ice cream and bird nest… yummy! Rich almond flavor, so creamy texture and mild sweetness, yummy. We had a good time, thank you.

Really visually pleasing and delicious lunch, every dish was carefully curated and with an element of surprise. Do check their menu before visiting as there is little flexibility to the set menu.

The interior design filled with greens, is my fav color. This elegant Chinese restaurant, part of the ZS Hospitality Group, is like a work of art with each dish presented so delicately. I really love most of their restaurants in this group, like whey, feuille, testina, etc. I had high hopes for the crispy sea cucumber with shrimp mousse in lobster sauce when I looked at the menu, but it turned out just okay for me. However, the French toast with crab meat and chili was a total hit—so yummmmmm! The fried garoupa was a bit salty for my taste, and the crispy silky fowl with Moutai sauce didn't quite match up either. The dessert was spot on and tasted as amazing as it looked. Loved it!
