Nice airport with restaurants, cafes, car rental, etc. It's clean and passing through immigration is very fast, efficient and easy. Domestic and international is at the same place. Very easy to claim tax refund. All the staff there can speak English and they are very nice. Airport departure is big with lots of chairs. Duty free items quite reasonably priced. For car rent, the company can bring the car to the airport for a cost and for you to take and drive away around Jeju Island.

Updated (pictures at the end) This time, had the chance to take more pictures of Oreums from the plane and the outside of the airport. Flying into Jeju was a lovely sight. I could see Hallasan and the wind farms from the plane. It was a good experience even before landing on Jeju Island. Airport Limousine bus 600 and 601 to Seogwipo.

This is a chill airport for international flights. I have come to the conclusion. If I am going to come again to Korea from Singapore, will do so again to Jeju direct. Spend time here and enjoy the slow pace of life. The immigration checkin is good and baggage check in is relaxed. There is a Jiang Jiang main restaurant inside the terminal where the boss got her fix. Generally as compared to gimpo and Incheon its a simpler breath of fresh air. However the domestic side is madness.

For Muslim travellers, there is a prayer room (Musollah) located at the departure hall after customs. Go to 2F which is one floor down via escalator. Walk to the end, opposite Gate 22. "Prayer Room", inside there is a washing tap & bidet, with 2 smaller rooms one for male & one for female. No Qiblat arrow, but my phone compass says Qiblat is 9 oclock, as you face the 2 rooms.

Airport is not busy for our flight landing timing. Customs was smooth except for the compulsory filling up of arrival card. Need to fill up many details. Buses to the car rentals are outside across the road. Just follow the bay numbers.

Nice airport with lots of good food inside. The airport viewpoint was quite nice, with decent views of aircraft. Approaching into the airport was beautiful with views of Jeju. The multiple photo frames around the airport was nice too. Note: The security line gets quite full during peak hours.

Please take note that the Jeju International Airport is NOT open 24 hours a day. It closes at night after the last flight for the day. It reopens at 5.00am. So, airline passengers cannot sleep overnight at the airport if they have an early flight the next day. You can stay in a hotel in Jeju City and take a taxi to the airport at 4.00am. Taxis are easily available at this early hour. The fare is only about 5,000won.

Bus many outside the gate airport. But these bus here just use card - driver no take cash( paper money) bit hard with foreigners the first time come ( but lucky drivers get free go) . Another way can buy Pop card in Minimark - cashier put money in card help then use Price 1 adult : 1200 von / 1 trip Jeju : Evening very cool win, day very hot feel like over 40 degree and bright sun, sunset down late about 7.pm, sometime have funny rain while sun. Shop open late from 9-10am to 9pm
