Located in South Korea, this airport forms one end of the world’s busiest flight route of 2025, a path between Jeju International and Seoul Gimpo that saw around 14.3 million seats filled. While still 17 percent behind pre-pandemic 2019 levels, this route experienced a 1 percent increase compared to 2024, underscoring just how heavily traveled and significant this connection is within the Asia Pacific region. - Liv Kelly

Nice airport with restaurants, cafes, car rental, etc. It's clean and passing through immigration is very fast, efficient and easy. Domestic and international is at the same place. Very easy to claim tax refund. All the staff there can speak English and they are very nice. Airport departure is big with lots of chairs. Duty free items quite reasonably priced. For car rent, the company can bring the car to the airport for a cost and for you to take and drive away around Jeju Island.

Updated (pictures at the end) This time, had the chance to take more pictures of Oreums from the plane and the outside of the airport. Flying into Jeju was a lovely sight. I could see Hallasan and the wind farms from the plane. It was a good experience even before landing on Jeju Island. Airport Limousine bus 600 and 601 to Seogwipo.

For Muslim travellers, there is a prayer room (Musollah) located at the departure hall after customs. Go to 2F which is one floor down via escalator. Walk to the end, opposite Gate 22. "Prayer Room", inside there is a washing tap & bidet, with 2 smaller rooms one for male & one for female. No Qiblat arrow, but my phone compass says Qiblat is 9 oclock, as you face the 2 rooms.

This is a chill airport for international flights. I have come to the conclusion. If I am going to come again to Korea from Singapore, will do so again to Jeju direct. Spend time here and enjoy the slow pace of life. The immigration checkin is good and baggage check in is relaxed. There is a Jiang Jiang main restaurant inside the terminal where the boss got her fix. Generally as compared to gimpo and Incheon its a simpler breath of fresh air. However the domestic side is madness.

Airport is not busy for our flight landing timing. Customs was smooth except for the compulsory filling up of arrival card. Need to fill up many details. Buses to the car rentals are outside across the road. Just follow the bay numbers.

Clean & well organized airport… due to growing popularity of Jeju as tourist spot due to K Drama there are frequent flights flying from major cities of South Korea & few countries… very easy to navigate with clear sign boards, ample eating options… very comfortable to take taxi / Uber just outside baggage collection area…
