Great food, lamb hotpot is awesome. Service is good, the owner is very friendly. I don't know where those one star ratings come from, like seriously guys, one star?

Most authentic northeastern Chinese food in US I ever tried. Highly recommended!!!

Servers spoke only chinese. ordered skewers, a side dish and drinks and side dish came out pretty quick but skewers never came for 20minutes, we had to go to the fridge and get our own drinks. When I asked to cancel our order with google translator, the skewer came out and guy from the kitchen was giving us attitude in his language because we canceled it probably. Side dish we got to try wasn’t too bad but won’t come again.

The food , quantity, and service were good. Little slow because staff were less. But overall, satisfied.

I would give 0 star if not for the atmosphere and friendly service. They're extremely short-handed. Be ready to wait for your food for over 20 min and then you still need to cook them yourself. The skewers themselves are dry and have no flavors at all. No way this place can compare with Xiao Chuan Dian, not to say Yangji (in my mind the best Chinese BBQ place in the neighborhood). They also use electric powered machines to cook the skewers. It's faster but takes away all the flavors from the coal

Pretty good spot for authentic northern Chinese food. Skewers and beers, can't go wrong.

I had a great experience here. The food came out quick and the owner was super friendly. Will be back.

i'm over 30 and in my entire life, ive never been to a restaurant that is this slow. we ordered 4 things and only one dish came in the entire hour and a half we sat there waiting. we had to cancel the rest of the order and leave. Every table seems to be having similar problems. we saw people getting their own water and scooping their own side dishes.
