The nonprofit behind Wilmington’s renowned Cucalorus festival runs year‑round screenings, labs, and themed series at its 65‑seat cinema. Local stations and arts media regularly spotlight its summer slates and special community film events.
This play house is magical! Every time we attend events or see movies here I feel enriched beyond! Ty to all involved 💛

Very cool little theater I volunteer when available and meet some very nice people. The Staff that run Jengo’s are like family!
Check out the schedule often as films are added frequently.

Jengos invites us into their space every year for the north Carolina black film festival. And every year they are amazingly welcoming, and kind. The whole place is a vibe from the Theater room, to the bar. The owner Dan is extremely intentional in making sure everyone is comfortable. Def a Gem here in Wilmington for those into film and the arts. Nothing else quite like it in my opinion

Such a great time at the Uptilt film festival today! Congrats to all of the winners! We have so many talented women in film here in the southeast, and so many wonderful men in film who support us! Just a fantastic community all together! 🙌

This place is so cool! We watched one of the films from their 8 week series. It was amazing to meet the creator/director, screenwriter, and actor from the movie afterwards. We are going back next week!

This movie screening venue is a vibe and the soul of the Cucalorus Film Festival. It can't have more than 80 seats (if that) but it's intimate and welcoming. The sound and image are good quality. They have a bar in the back, snacks in the front. And a backyard that hosts some great parties.
