We were visiting from New Orleans and decided to stop by Jeni’s Ice Cream while exploring the area. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and upbeat. I was immediately greeted by Dana, who truly stood out with her warm personality and exceptional customer service. She took her time walking me through all the different flavors, offering helpful suggestions and even letting me sample a few to help narrow down my choice. The ice cream itself was definitely different from what I’m used to. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it—maybe it was the texture or the richness—but it had a unique quality that sets it apart. I tried a few flavors, but the birthday cake really stood out to me. It was sweet, creamy, and had that nostalgic flavor that instantly made me smile. While Jeni’s style of ice cream might not be for everyone depending on taste and texture preferences, I can honestly say the experience was worth it for the service alone. Dana made sure we felt welcomed, informed, and appreciated. That kind of customer care is rare and deserves to be acknowledged. If you’re in the area, I’d absolutely recommend giving Jeni’s a try—especially if you’re looking for great service and something a little different than the usual ice cream shop.

Google
First timer . Great icecream! Great experience! Staff is nice . Me and my husband got in and out. A little late night crowd went on a Sunday evening. I got their popular flavor via staff suggestion, The Gooey butter cake 🙌🏿 Will return

Google
We came here for dessert after dinner at The Optimist. This was my first time here. There are so many flavors to choose from. They do allow you to taste test whatever flavor you are interested in purchasing. I ended up choosing the Birthday Cake Buttercream flavor (I think that was the name if I remember correctly). It was delicious! Be careful though! You may find yourself visiting on a daily basis. Each visit would be warranted considering it’s the summer time and it has been really hot in ATL!!

Google
By far the best ice cream parlor you can ever go to. They have a bunch of different flavors and they always have a new flavor every other week you definitely have to try it. It is a vibe for sure and also on the side of the ice cream parlor there is like a patio that you can walk on and it is very Romantic at night or even just a little walk while you eat.

Google
Fun flavors, super flavorful! I had the butter cake ice cream and the Texas sheet cake ice cream. Both excellent!

Google
The possibly the best Jeni's ice cream in Atlanta. It's a great, great area that is lively but not too loud or crowded. The staff is super friendly. It stays busy but not too busy. You get the same good ice cream you get from the other stores.

Google
Gooey Butter Cake, almond brittle, seven layer cake, and gingerbread flavours were great. We don’t recommend the cherry, pistachio, cherry, and bramble berry)

Yelp
I'm not sure why I remember thinking Jeni's was super good, but I honestly didn't think it was very special this time. The wait outside the door was super long, and I stood for around 20-30 minutes before getting my ice cream. All the flavors they listed on the board aren't actually available for scoops - some are pint only. I really wanted to try the chocolate cake flavor, but they don't actually serve that in scoops. I ended up opting for the classic brambleberry crisp and the texas sheet cake (dairy free) on a waffle cone. Their cones are good, and you can watch and smell them fresh. The ice cream itself was not bad, but I didn't feel like it was really anything special both flavor and texture wise. It certainly fulfills the ice cream craving, but I'm not sure it's entirely worth the price and wait.

Yelp
I mean how can you hate Jeni's.... I've been to this location countless times and it never gets old and the line is always worth it! Which goes to say, beware there is almost always a line and it takes a while and parking is a hassle... but I still love it We maybe waited 20ish minutes this Saturday night and I was so happy to learn they have a new 4 half scoop option which is great for sharing!! We also tried some of their new flavors for the eclipse but also got some classics: brown butter almond brittle and lavender. Those you have to get. Can't hate this place and vibes are always great!!

Yelp
Jeni's has a special type of hold on me. I am not...ever...almost never in the mood for ice cream, but let me find out I'm near a Jeni's and I'm there in a split second. My go-to's are a scoop of the following 3 flavors (I'm greedy idc) Brambleberry Crisp, Brown Butter Almond Brittle and the Gooey Butter Cake This time I decided to switch it up and try the Caramel Pecan (dairy free btw) paired with the powdered jelly donut and the darkest chocolate (greedy again idcidc!)- it was HIT-TING omg. Especially because the jelly...was raspberry and the darkest chocolate was super rich. I hope they keep that caramel pecan as it's now one of my new favorites. Everytime I come to this location I encounter THEE sweetest people , and shoutout to the "everybody water" that they sell, it's a cute touch (see pics)

Yelp
Whenever it gets a little warm outside, my mom immediately craves ice cream. So we drove down Howell Mill to her favorite local ice cream shoppe, Jeni's. The line is always long, out the door, and wrapped around the corner. The ice cream is so good, so you can understand why. Even though the line is long, the staff always moves with efficiency. The smell of freshly made waffle cones just does something to my soul! I got one scoop of the gooey butter cake and one scoop of coffee with milk and sugar. My mom got a scoop of brown butter almond brittle and one scoop of the milkiest chocolate. We went home happy and full!

Yelp
TLDR: So creamy and amazing flavor variety. Ask to try the everything bagel flavor lol. Service is amazing as usual. Not very pricey and a staple in Atlanta. I'm lactose and you should have no problems with this ice cream

Yelp
I love Jenis!!!! I'd really love the whiskey pecan to be all year not just seasonal. I wish it was also non- Dairy. I like the brown butter brittle

Yelp
Jeni's Ice Cream is not just an ice cream parlor; it's a flavor expedition, a journey into a world where every scoop is a work of art, and each flavor is a symphony for the taste buds. Let's start with the flavors - oh, the flavors! Jeni's takes ice cream to a whole new level with their out-of-this-world creations. From the classic Salted Caramel to the whimsical Gooey Butter Cake, every flavor is a stroke of genius. The variety is staggering, offering a range that caters to both the traditionalist and the adventurous flavor explorer. It's not just ice cream; it's a taste experience that will make your palate dance with delight. But here's the kicker - the non-dairy options. Jeni's doesn't just stop at catering to dairy lovers; they embrace the world of non-dairy with open arms. The non-dairy flavors are a revelation, with the same creaminess and decadence as their dairy counterparts. From the Roasted Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jam to the Texas Sheet Cake, they've cracked the code for creating non-dairy masterpieces that are just as indulgent and satisfying. Now, let's talk about the crispy butter cones. These are not your average cones; they're a crispy, buttery vessel of joy that adds a perfect crunch to each heavenly bite. The attention to detail in crafting these cones is evident, and they serve as the ideal canvas for the delectable ice cream masterpieces. And of course, the service. The staff at Jeni's are not just scoopers; they're ice cream enthusiasts, ready to guide you through the flavor wonderland. Their passion for the product is contagious, and the service is delivered with a genuine smile that adds to the overall delightful experience. In conclusion, Jeni's Ice Cream is a flavor haven where creativity knows no bounds. With an array of out-of-this-world flavors, non-dairy options that defy expectations, crispy butter cones, and impeccable service, Jeni's is not just an ice cream parlor - it's a destination for those seeking a taste adventure. Prepare your taste buds for a journey like no other!

Yelp
Late night cravings in a city, with my loved ones! This spot was amazing and so delicious! The place was packed with a never ending line but the wait was worth it. Thank you for being open later in the night. Customer service was amazing!

Yelp
My second visit here. Got here early to avoid the line. Sadly inside the service was slow. A lot of employees but all doing other things and not focused on moving customers. When it's busy here I have seen them drive the service and move people quickly but tonight no focus. The ice cream thankfully was delicious. I sampled the coffee and the licorice. Both were delicious. I wasn't sure about the licorice and salt but the salt was very subtle. The coffee was among the best I have had but since it's after 6pm no caffeine for me (think gremlins). So I had a dish of brown sugar almond brittle, honey vanilla and darkest chocolate. All were delightful. They have added more outdoor seating since I was last here to much easier and more pleasant to sit outside and savor my ice cream.
google avatar

Yelp
This a great sweet treat option in midtown...this location is always busy but wait time is never too long. There isn't a lot of space to sit and eat you treats and the parking is a pay to park lot...but the shop is always clean! My favorite go to is "gooey butter cake" with a freshly made waffle cone bowl.

Yelp
Neat little ice cream shoppe. I was visiting Herman Miller showroom and retail store which was in the same complex, and I saw the name for "Jeni's Ice Cream" and I remember my sister had mentioned Jeni's as worth going for. Friendly staff, and was able to bear w/ me and my small group as we sampled most of the flavors. I must have sampled at least 10 different flavors, before finally deciding on two of them for the duo scoop. I also asked for popular flavors, and these were the top two heavy hitters. Gooey Butter Cake with caramel-butterscotch sauce, and Brambleberry Crisp with vanilla and brambleberry jam. Both were rather exceptional, or close to it in any case. I liked the Butter Cake flavor the most -- supposed to be their most popular flavor. All in all, awesome ice cream spot, and would recommend stopping by if you have the chance. The size for two scoops is rather small, and it doesn't feel like you're gaining weight by eating them, even though it's def on the sugary side. Neat ice cream spot, in the heart of Atlanta.

Yelp
Such a reliable ice cream spot. Their classic flavors have never not been delicious, there's something for everyone and I've never seen their quality deteriorate. They have some specials during some occasions like Christmas, or when they partner up with fun brands. Those are always great. They have so many options like vegan and dairy free flavors that actually taste great and aren't a cheap attempt to expand their menu. You have to try the gooey butter cake, so so indulgent and creamy and buttery. It has these chunks of cake that add such a great texture. The waffle cups are SO yummy!! The only issue with this location is that on weekends or any busy days the line here is soooo long. People love this place so much so it's almost always super busy. The area is quite cute though so waiting in line can be kinda fun. The seating space in the location is so limited and almost non existent. But the whole building that it's in has a lot of random benches and seating spots so you can walk right outside and find a place to sit. It's slightly limited for large groups of people though.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has the right name! The ice cream here is splendid indeed. I only tried three flavors but I bought all three to take home. Sweet tooth fully satisfied!
google avatar

Yelp
This is my favorite location of Jeni's to visit, relative to my neighborhood. It's in a lowkey outdoor shopping/entertainment area (Westside Provisions) and there are enough parking spots that I don't get stressed out! I've seen this store have quite a long line many times but have been lucky not to catch one of those days. I love being able to grab a cone and walk around after, or finish the day/night with a cone. My "ride or die" flavor is Brambleberry Crisp but I won't say no to trying something new.
google avatar

Ron P.

Yelp
Got some brown butter almond brittle and lemon and coconut? Flavor and it was good :)
google avatar

Demetrius A.

Yelp
Really great ice cream! There are dairy free options available for those who prefer it. This location. Is cute and quaint with outdoor seating in the front and rear of the location. There were also a few seating areas inside. Due to the layout, you may notice the line can fill up quickly. Though the staff fulfilled each other quickly. As a first time guest, a quick skim of the menu online could be helpful before arriving. Especially if you feel easily rushed during orders, as I do. The portion size for the cups were perfect. If you enjoy a classic cone with your scoop(s) of goodness that's also an option. Select flavors are offered as pints only. There are other shops and restaurants in the area to stroll and enjoy your sweet treats as well. I'll definitely be stocking up on these from the freezer section of my local grocery store. I'd return if visiting the area again.
google avatar

Ada S.

Yelp
Super cute ice cream store! Great flavor options (I got the Ted Lasso biscuit flavor and something called Razzleberry I think) both amazing! Is a little pricy but aren't all places these days? Seating is limited and so is parking! They do have a couple of gluten free / dairy free options but not many. Cute decor inside also!
google avatar

Omar F.

Yelp
Uuughhhh Jeni's is just always a vibe. The line as always is super long but that's because they are so tiny and amazing. Today though I grabbed the ice cream cake flavor in the pint , two waffle bowls ToGo, and came home to have them in bed ! If you're looking for a spot to grab a quick ice cream or chat before a long night or even finish out your night after a nice dinner or lunch ! The area is perfect. It most certainly is "Splendid " ice cream!

Yelp
Was I town for the weekend and was found this amazing ice cream parlor. Long lines but smooth and efficient service and not to forget the ice was great with an arrangement of flavors.

Yelp
E X P E R I E N C E we came on a sat night around 9pm. there was a line that wrapped around the bldg towards the furniture shop. dont be deterred by the line as it moves quickly! we got to the front within 10-15 mins. F O O D brambleberry crisp brown butter Almond crisp rainbow buttermilk frozen yogurt waffle cone Brambleberry crisp salted caramel Waffle cone Brambleberry crisp brown butter Almond crisp Waffle cone all the flavors are so fresh, delectable, and rich. jenis is the way to go. **TIP fresh Waffle cones made moment to moment! **TIP try samples of flavors! P A R K I N G parking can get a little tricky as it's a popular plaza with many great places to eat. we had to circle twice but ultimately found a spot in front of taqueria del sol. pay at the parking meter. $3 for 0-2 hrs. $5 for 3-5 hrs. P R I C E 25
google avatar

Yelp
Jeni's Gooey Butter Cake is now my favorite ice cream flavor ever! There is usually a bit of a line on weekend nights, but I promise it is worth it. The service is quick and easy, the ice cream tastes great, and the lovely smell of waffle cones get you even more excited! Definitely a place worth visiting if you're in Atlanta
google avatar

Holly K.

Yelp
If you can go during off hours, no wait and sample heaven! Not sure what to rate the staff since they are beyond helpful and as sweet as the ice cream Parking is paid by two hours minimum ($3.60, we downloaded the app) we have a Prius and we were able to fit into a spot a lot of the bigger cars/vans, etc could not. Jeni's is in a more middle/upscale area. Food, restaurant and clothing stores are filling in and around the former industrial area (Serious gentrifiied area). Jeni's has around 14/15 flavors at any given time; Brown butter almond brittle, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, lemon, blackberry lavender, Blackberry Crisp, Honey Vanilla, Gooey Butter Cake, etc..plus ice cream pints to go The ladies that were there to help us make up our minds and encourage us with samples...don't think calories, ev-A when here, even though they are listed next to each flavor. We went with butterscotch popcorn, darkest chocolate and bramble berry crisp in a waffle bowl. Even sharing, man! Before it all melts away, go and enjoy ;)
google avatar

Amber E.

Yelp
Doesn't matter the location, they're all great! The service is always wonderful and the ice cream is even better! It's a cute little ice cream shop, and there's some inside seating on the side by the register. There's also plenty of outside seating. As always I got my favorite Brambleberry Crisp ice cream. I also got the lavender ice cream, which was alright. I wanted to try the cranberry but decided on lavender instead. Maybe next time.

Yelp
This place radiates incredible vibes! Throughout my college years, it has become my go-to spot, primarily due to their surprisingly late closing hours. The range of flavors they offer is truly fascinating, and among them, my personal favorite is the irresistible Wildberry Lavender, which I simply can't resist ordering every time I visit. An added bonus is the experience of witnessing them craft their waffle cones right in front of you. The parking situation can be a bit challenging, as space is limited. Although they do provide a parking garage, I personally prefer parking directly in front of their store. Keep in mind that parking does come at a cost, but occasionally they offer validation. While the seating area may be limited, the true delight is strolling along the bridge adjacent to the building. The view from the bridge is absolutely breathtaking, making the experience even more memorable. Definitely a place to visit!!!
google avatar

Ashley T.

Yelp
Fantastic creamery spot! The ice cream is wonderfully fresh, and the staff is incredibly friendly. What more could you possibly ask for?! My top picks are the rainbow sherbet, lemon tart, and butter gooey cake - absolute delights!
google avatar

Mina O.

Yelp
I absolutely love this ice cream shop. The moment you walk in, your senses will be overtaken by a delicious sweet intoxicating scent. Your nose will instantly lead the way and your eyes will widen and your salivary glands will go into overdrive. Have I convinced you yet? Nah... okay, I'll continue. Not only are you in a state of anticipation, you feel like a kid again while enjoying the amazingly yet simple process of waffle cone making. I love the brown butter almond brittle flavor, but I didn't stop there, I went with the trio option and selected the brambleberry crisp and the cinnamon swirl skillet. Every flavor is creamy and packed with layers of flavor and even the lactose intolerant patrons can select an array of dairy free options. This is a perfect place to bring the family, yourself, or even a date. Jeni's is the place to visit no matter what time of year it is. Enjoy and don't let your ice cream drip, you don't want a single drop to go to waste.

Yelp
I love Jeni's ice cream by the pint but never had the chance to try one of their stores! Texas sheet cake is so good and vegan!!! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I was walking past looking for the Brick & Mortar store and this captivating smell forced me to indulge. I was there around 2:30pm on a rainy Saturday and there was a short line. I waited for about 10-15 to actually receive my treat. Due to COVID they are not currently offering samples so you have to just pray you make the right choice. I am convinced that all the flavors would satisfy anyone's sweet tooth. I opted for a half scoop of the Texas sheet cake. It is one of a few of the dairy free options they offer. Let me tell you, it was everything I imagined it would be. The chocolate flavor was fresh, and it tastes like they use stellar ingredients. I just about licked my little bowl and wished I had gotten the full scoop for 50 cents more! This place is worth the wait and worth every penny!
google avatar

Hernley J.

Yelp
I can't tell you the amount of times I have passed by a Jeni's Ice Cream and see a line longer than the DMV... Luckily I went on a Wednesday at 8pm and the line was bearable. My first experience at Jeni's Ice Cream was great! I got 2 scoops and tried the Almond brittle and peanut butter something. Both were amazing. They have some of the creamiest Ice Cream I've ever eaten. I understand the hype now. If you get a chance definitely give them a try. You're welcome!
google avatar

Muffy F.

Yelp
A good product but all the best woke claptrap and covid insanity leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Can't you just serve ice cream without shoving your sophomoric ideas down our throats?
google avatar

Kelly G.

Yelp
If you've never tried Jeni's before you're missing out! They have some of the best flavors and their waffle cones are soooo good. Brambleberry crisp for life. Also the workers are SO nice. On free scoop day I dropped my cone on the ground #tragic but the workers gave me another one no questions asked

Carol Lynn S.

Yelp
Walked in no one greeted me or my party the other members of the staff walked by no hello or acknowledgement we are in the store to purchase ice cream I he staff they are rude I will not return
google avatar

Cassie H.

Yelp
Jeni's is a really charming place to grab ice cream with friends and hangout!! The flavors are more on the exotic side, and for me, the new flavors are very questionable most of the time. Out of the three new flavors I tried this summer, the Golden Nectar is definitely the best. Watermelon taffy was extremely tart while the bombastix tasted like vanilla with random assorted chocolate candies mixed in. I've always enjoyed the Lavender, darkest chocolate, and coffee flavors. Just a heads up, the waffle bowls are salty, but the atmosphere is always family friendly.
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
Fresh waffle cones!! This was honestly my favorite part! You walk in and smell the most delicious buttery scent. The flavors varied and they were not your typical flavors. I went with the Ooey-Gooey Butter Cake and it had caramel- butterscotch sauce. I'm usually not the one to enjoy cream cheese based deserts, but this ice cream was extremely tasty! I highly recommend stopping by and checking this ice cream shop out! Jenni's can also be found at Acme!
google avatar

Cindy A.

Yelp
Can dinner out really be complete without ice cream? I think not! We walked down to Jeni's to finish out the evening. The aroma walking in makes your mouth water. There are so many unique choices of delicious ice cream flavors. I was happy to see that I didn't have to choose between the two flavors I wanted - they can split a single scoop! I got the gooey butter cake and strawberry buttermilk. My mouth did a little happy dance! It was a perfect ending to a perfect evening.
google avatar

Crystal C.

Yelp
Aside from the servers not being very cheerful, I love Jenis! It gets pretty crowded on the weekends, which is when I went, so I totally understand the serves just moving the line along. My favorite thing is the smell as soon as you walk up to the location. It's a sweet, cookie, warm smell which I imagine are the waffle cones they are making. I come here often, but just wanted to give it a 5 start.
google avatar

Allison K.

Yelp
Jeni's Ice Cream is an Atlanta staple that you must try out! Their flavors are unique and delicious. My favorites would be the Gooey Butter Cake (so rich) and Brown Butter Almond Brittle. I've also tried the Bramble Berry Crisp and Lavendar (too orangey for my taste). Not to mention, many of their locations smell incredible.
google avatar

LaDreena W.

Yelp
Delicious! Enjoyed the ice cream just as much as the service and music and vibe. It's a good sign when there's limited seating and people are fine with standing and eating. I recommend the waffle cone:-)
google avatar

Tanvee S.

Yelp
Always got to love a Jeni's! The flavors are extensive and the prices are of a boutique ice cream shop but the little three scoops of ice cream as a flight is definitely attractive! The flavors are fun and unique, and the ice cream is super light -- optimal for a hot summer day when you don't want to feel grossly full. The cold brew with caramel cream was super refreshing and the lavender one was really cool -- I've never tried it before! Definitely love this place.

Yelp
Visited this place during Elite Week, and I am so glad I did! I already plan to take my boyfriend here. First, there is seating outside near the Velvet Taco, and some seating inside. I went late on a Tuesday, so in my picture the seating area appears empty- but there was a line almost to the door for takeaway when I got there. The place is cute and smells amazing, and the service was fast, friendly and super accommodating. I tried the lavender, almond brittle, and gooey butter cake trio in a waffle bowl, and of all the flavors, the gooey butter cake was my favorite. Also, I am not usually a waffle cone/bowl person, but they make theirs with a slightly crispy/crackly texture and it was unusually good- thought I'd note that. Anyway, thank you Jeni's! This was really excellent, will be back!
google avatar

Mari T.

Yelp
The ice cream was good. It wasn't too sweet and they have non diary ice cream which I was looking for. The scoop was good amount for me and it was inexpensive too.

Yelp
Decent and fresh ice cream that will satisfy your sweets cravings after dinner. Love the different flavor options they have, although some are a little on the sweeter side for my liking. Interior isn't the cleanest and there isn't much room for sitting, but service is excellent and they let you try the flavors.

Yelp
The ice cream tastes EXACTLY like it says it does. It's too magical for my taste buds

Yelp
Always an enjoyable treat when in the area of Westside Provisions. Upon opening the door the delicious smell of the waffle cones draws you in. Love the many different flavors of ice creams. The Trio Bowl is my favorite! The associates were friendly and patient as we surveyed the many choices. Love this treat just wish there was a location of the Southside of Metro Atlanta.

Yelp
it's always a treat at jeni's. came here on my birthday!! tip: if you show ID you get a free triple :) it was huge!! i was so stuffed but it was so good. i got the brown butter almond, brambleberry crisp, and wild berry lavender in a waffle bowl. wildberry lavender and brambleberry crisp was great as always. not sure if i got an off scoop of the brown butter almond, but it didn't taste like brown butter at all. in fact, it barely had any flavor which is disappointing as i've heard great things about it.

Yelp
Stopped here for a sweet treat on a sunday. Line was way out the door, but it didn't take too long to get my order in. Nice people in line ahead of us paid for our ice cream so we paid it forward too. I wanted mine to go like in the picture so that my waffle bowl wouldn't get soggy. Love Jeni's!

Yelp
My girlfriend took me to Jeni's in West Midtown since she had been raving about it. This was my first time having it. We ordered the Brown butter almond brittle ice cream. It was really good. The workers had good customer service. I am sure we will be back to try some other ice cream as the weather warms up.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to try Jeni's and this time it was on a friendly date. Jeni's is the perfect spot for everyone. Dates, kids, family and friends outings as well. At this particular location (West Midtown) there's also parking available but at a cost. Given that it was a hot Saturday the line seemed to be long but moved fast as we were able to get inside pretty fast. My date recommended the Gooey Butter Cake and after having a sample of it I definitely was able to find out why it was one of her favs. I decided to get a bowl with two scoops of Gooey Butter Cake & Salty Caramel ($6.50). The Gooey Butter Cake is phenomenal. Made with cream cheese and layered with crumbles of vanilla cake and a swirl of caramel-butterscotch sauce this ice cream is very flavorful and will have you wanting more. The Salty Caramel is made with a fire-toasted sugar with sea salt, vanilla, and grass-grazed milk. A perfect combination of salt and sweet flavors. I thoroughly enjoyed my ice cream and I plan on going back to grab a few pints. I recommend this place to anyone looking to satisfy that sweet tooth.
