Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

A good friend recommended this place. I was able to tey a few different flavors. It's kinda nice that they actually use mini metal spoons to try samples with (new spoon used every time). They have many options, including seasonal flavors. The few that I tried, I liked very much. The shop was very clean and the staff were patient and helpful. I will probably visit a few times this summer.

Polite and friendly Staff. Great options. Sustainable business with intentional avoidance of unnecesary trash. Perfectly labelled ingrediants and allergens. I am going to become their largest customer. Will post pictures later.

Great summer flavors, but I didn't feel like the flavors or texture was unique enough to justify the price. Beautiful store and friendly customer service :)

Wow! The ice cream here is so good, unique flavors and tastes so fresh. The service was really quick, the ambiance is really nice too! There are several tables to sit down and chat at. They were super nice and let me sample the different flavors. They have dairy-free options! You can also buy pints of your favorite flavor to take home! I also loved that they have seasonal flavors- like white chocolate peppermint or gingerbread molasses! I will definitely be coming back!

Butter brittle almond and gooey cake were delicious. The flavors were up my alley but I think its a tad pricey. The waffle was good i think I should've gotten a waffle cone

What a cool find! After dinner, my friend was wanting ice cream so he said we should come to Jeni's and I left impressed. The ice cream was buttery smooth and the staff helped me decide by letting me sample at least 5 different flavors. I had never heard of this place but it's apparently a chain from Columbus, Ohio. Anyways I will bring the rest of the family to try our more flavors.

Love the ice cream here!!! We went to grad school in Columbus and Jeni’s brought back lots of good memories. Good to have a store nearby, and everything tastes great - brambleberry crisp was my fav, highly recommend.

LOVELY SERVICE!! We came here for the 1st time, and our group had such a great time! We loved the ice cream! IT WAS SO CREAMY AND LUXURIOUS! The birthday cake was out of this world! My friends all enjoyed their flavors too. The worker helping us was so sweet and was so patient with all our questions! We will be back!

Flew in from Vegas and landed during lunchtime. I was feeling peckish, but did not desire any type of buffet or any type of burger, which I gorged myself with while I was in sin city over the weekend. I was craving something cold and sweet to soothe my empty heart and wallet (from giving into to the temptation of gambling). So came to Jeni's Ice Cream because I thought consuming an expensive frozen creamy treat would be the remedy I needed. I entered this establishment at around 1500, no line, no long wait, friendly staff of one at this time. I have always seen a large group of people outside this ice cream place during the night, so I thought this might be pretty good. I guess the best time to come is mid afternoon on a weekday to enjoy a spoon licking or cone crunching treat in peace. Cheers!

It was actually pretty crowded when we came in on Saturday around 5:30 PM. There were only 4 small tables inside and we got the last one, but there was plenty of bench area available. There are also outdoor seating (for when it gets cooler). The interior was brightly lit and gave off a colorful vibe. They have a lot of ice cream flavors. Some were overpoweringly sweet, while others aren't while still being flavorful. You can sample any flavor before ordering. The ice cream comes in your choice of waffle cone, waffle bowl, or regular paper bowl. They say "half scoop" on the menu, but their half scoop totally looked like a normal full scoop and then some. I think they call it a "half scoop" to make your conscience feel better. All of their flavors are available to-go in pint sized containers. We ordered the sweet potato marshmallow praline and darkest chocolate flavors in a regular paper bowl. Both turned out pretty good. The former tasted like it had pumpkin spice which was a nice surprise.

The line to get in is always long, but for a good reason! This ice cream is so good! The staff is great, letting you sample every flavor you would like! I got a bowl and got two scoops, which was delicious. Every flavor was unique and individual! I like that they change flavors constantly as well! This is such a great hangout spot, i will definitely come back! There are vegan options available!

Located this in Atlanta last week, it was soo good I looked it up here in Dallas and by my surprise there was one here, this ice cream is so good and unique!!! I got the gooey butter cream and brown butter one! There's always a line here so I know it's a staple here and good!

Wanted to check out some local ice cream spots and this one was close to my hotel. The Strawberry Cheesecake Parfait was delectable. It was rich, creamy and full of flavor. Love this spot!

We had gone here as a group of 10 girls looking got dessert after a wonderful dinner as part of our monthly Girls night out! Loved this sampler of 10 flavors which you could mix and match and made it easy to try them all. Was priced at $21 so was a fun way to try all the flavors . My favorite was the Blackout Chocolate Cake, Wildberry lavender and the brown sugar honey brittle!Will come back again soon!

I decided to order the new L'Affogato with the seasonal Boozy Eggnog. The eggnog ice cream is spiked with whiskey which tasted well with the L'Affogato's cold brew. Rather than wait for the Boozy Eggnog to melt, I was eating the ice cream with a spoonful of the cold brew. This is the ideal ice cream concoction for the hot Texas summers. As soon as customers exit the air conditioned restaurant into the triple-digit heat, the ice cream will melt into the cold brew in minutes. Rather than use a spoon, customers can drink the ice cream cold brew mixture straight from the cup.

Jeni's is a great spot for ice cream. Everything is just so tasty! Lines can get a bit long here so be prepared! The cool thing about here is that they have so many flavor options! Of course you can try before committing. They even have a nice little hang out spot for before to chill and eat their ice cream. Love it. I always come back.

Two words: Luxury icecream - that's how I would Describe Jeni's! Is it delicious? YES! I sampled a ton of favors before I decided on the brimberry crumble and coffee. IT WAS $20 for two cones. So yes this is not a cheap ice cream spot. DEFINITELY $$$ but was it worth it. YESSSSS! I will be back for more delicious treats!

Great spot for a spontaneous mommy & son date! Was going to get my son ice cream from Shake Shack when I realized this super adorable ice cream shop was right next door. They have a really cute and kid friendly space with indoor and outdoor seating and a structure outside that a bunch of kids were using to climb on and jump off of! My son recently turned two and doesn't quite have the hang of jumping yet but he still really enjoyed himself. The person behind the counter gave an overview of a few flavors and offered samples. Everyone in the store was warm and friendly! My son and I split the smallest size which allows for two flavors! We got the cookies and cream and cinnamon roll- both were delicious! We're looking forward to our next visit.

My husband and I wanted something sweet while in Dallas and decided to come to Jeni's .. because why not? There was a little line but that's ok, because there was only two people working and they were doing the best they could to get everyone's order.. we chose the vanilla bean and the bramble berry... so delicious! Service was great! We tried a few flavors and in all honesty, they all tasted amazing.. I hope they open one in Miami soon!

Such a cute ice cream shop! Instagram ready but more importantly... so. many. flavors!!! Creative flavors and several dairy free options. First time ever trying Jeni's and now I can't wait to go back. My only issue was everything sounded good and it took me way too long to decide what flavor to get. Waffle cones and bowls made in house!

Shout out to Sabir! Received a warm welcome upon entry. He could probably tell id never been in and politely asked me if I had, to confirm his suspicion. He gave my friend and I a full rundown of the menu and allowed my friend to sample. I'm not much of a sampler because I never want to hold anyone up so I based my decision off of what looked good. lol he encouraged me to try before i buy and I'm glad he did. I was blown away by the number one seller. I made that the only flavor I got. Go in and ask for the number one seller. You'll be pleased. Oh and if you're into cones.... The waffle cone is as AMAZING. I'd really be surprised if they didn't make these themselves. Anyways, he's a great human. His energy was felt through the entire interaction. Was also very clean in there. Great lighting.

For an ice cream place. This is an excellent place to go to. Our group tried many different flavors and all of them were amazing. Rich, tasty and not overly sugary. They do place Calories next to each flavor. But if you are overly concerned about calories, you are at the wrong shop :) Service is nice and quick. And when you ask for a sample, they give you a sample in a metal spoon, which I think is a nice touch.

Large seating area, indoor and outdoor. Quick service and as always delicious ice cream. They had affogatos with cold brew so I got my favorite ice cream with cold brew.

The ice cream flavors are so decadent. I loved the lavender flavor. It has a subtle flavor, perfect for vanilla lovers. They offered samples if you need to try something first. They also have a water station, which I find so helpful! The real star, however, are the waffle cones. They are made fresh and are so delicious. There are plenty seatings as well, family-friendly.

Jeni's ice cream is SOO good!! It's my favorite ice cream shop atm and I'm guilty of coming here two days in a row this week.. My top favorites here are brambleberry crisp, brown butter almond brittle, gooey butter cake, and Texas sheet cake - always in a waffle cone! The waffle cones/bowls are made fresh here, they're delicious and you'll smell it right when you walk in. Brambleberry crisp is swirled with blackberry/raspberry jam and it's my go-to at Jeni's, and when I'm feeling indulgent the Texas sheet cake comes with pieces of chocolate cake in the choco ice cream. There are also soo many other delicious & unique flavors at Jeni's, you need to come try it if you haven't yet!!

Jeni's makes the best ice cream, hands down. I used to live in Ohio (where Jeni's originated), so when I am going to be near-ish a scoop shop, I make time to go. This is the best location I have been to in DFW, primarily because of ease of access and parking. Like all Jeni's scoop shops, it smells heavenly inside. There is ample seating at this location - both indoor and outdoor. The staff was friendly and helpful as we sampled a few flavors. I got my favorites - Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks and Brambleberry Crisp. Not to be dramatic, but Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks is the best ice cream flavor in the entire world. You do need to ask for a code to use the restroom here, so just keep that in mind if that is something that can cause difficulty for you.

The ice cream is SOOO yummy and the flavor selections are all so unique!! I got gooey butter cake and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! So sweet and creamy! The employee at the counter was very nice, cheery, and helpful! This ice cream shop is so cute and I just want to take so many pictures when I'm in here. I can't wait to come back and try more flavors next time :)

So I guess we have been under a rock. We looked up ice cream on Yelp when we were in the area and ended up at Jeni's. It was awesome. Then we started telling everyone how good it is and everyone seemed to already know. Regardless, it is really good and amazingly creamy. The peanut butter flavor was my favorite. It is super dense thick ice cream....very good.

Honestly...the BEST ice cream I've ever had. But what's crazy is, the best thing about Jeni's isn't initially the ice cream. It's the amazing smell of freshly made ice cream cones that hits you in the face when you first walk in. It just makes you smile right away. Now let's get down to business, why we're really here. The ice cream. I've never had a bad flavor, but of course I do have my go-to choices that I can't seem to shake - Gooey Butter Cake, Skillet Cinnamon Roll, Sweet Cream Biscuits & Peach Jam & Pineapple Upside Down Cake. I usually get a trio combo of these flavors and it's never a bad idea.

This is one of the best ice cream places of all time. Unique and scrumptious flavors. My favorite is the Buckeye Frenzy and Merry Berry. Not only is the ice cream great, but the workers are fantastic. They let you try as many samples as you want and encourage you to do so. The ambiance of Jeni's is classic ice cream shop.

Great ice cream! Service was excellent! Eric who's in the front did a stellar job. I witnessed him wash his hands before each time handling ice cream for the kiddos. We came here late on a Saturday night. Even though the servers we wrapping up their shifts, our server was energetic, friendly, and welcoming. We split 3-scoops in a waffle bowl. My favorite flavor was Texas chocolate Sheet Cake. The ice cream was smooth and creamy with chunks of cake. Least favorite was the salted caramel; it was a little too salty for me. Overall, So good!

Great ice cream! Terrible customer service and extortionate prices. I love Jenis, but I rarely come to their store. I usually purchase it from Central Market or Whole Foods where it retails for $8/pint. So I was shocked when I purchased three pints at the store along with two cones and it came out to a whopping $60! Upon examining the receipt, they charge $12/pint at their own stores. They also charged me for some fancy bag which was nice to keep the ice cream cold, but I wouldn't pay for it. After a tip for the employees, the total price felt like extortion. When I inquired about it, the cashier seemed very annoyed, like he turned his nose up at me. It definitely seemed rude enough that I wished I hadn't tipped in the first place. Overall, I can't let myself come back here. Especially when the same product is much cheaper at the grocery store. Their prices here feel like theft and the customer service certainly doesn't reflect their unnecessary premium.

Love this place and I don't have a sweet tooth. They have a great variety but also friendly to different diet restrictions like gluten and dairy. I have lots of flavors to name that are delicious but o suggest you try some when you are there. Oddly I like the lavender ice cream and chocolate. But you can't go Wrong with the coffee flavor. The vanilla is also really good. I likes the lemon one and it was gluten and dairy free. Also they have lots of seasonal flavors, Making you want to come back for more! I highly suggest this place!

This ice cream chain is truly one of a kind. Even though I'm not typically an ice cream person, I am a Jeni's person. I highly recommend trying their goey butter cake flavor, as it's truly a game-changer in the world of ice cream. The texture is creamy and the flavor is sweet and buttery, with a slight crunch from the cake pieces mixed in. Recently, I found out that Jeni's also has a location in the Dallas area, so I couldn't resist checking it out. I was thrilled to find that the same high quality and deliciousness that I had come to expect was present here as well. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was perfect for hanging out and enjoying your ice cream with friends. I would highly recommend stopping by this location if you're in the area, or any of their locations if you're lucky enough to have one near you!

My experience at this place has been pretty decent ice cream but not the best in customer service. They have a lot of unique flavors and they always have an amazing smell when I walk in of the waffle cones baking but at the end of the day if you match even the best food in the greatest smells with subpar service you kind of suck. I have literally been in the middle of my order only to have the worker stop and help the person behind me that came in after me well my ice cream melts. In a world of competitive businesses that have great ice cream and great service this place did not measure up for me in the four visits that I have come here.

What better way to spend a spring afternoon than getting a taste of Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream? Because of Yelp, I get to try 3 scoops of different flavors before committing on buying a few pints to share with my nieces. I've had Jeni's the first time when Yelp introduced them to me at their location in Deep Ellum. It's wonderful that they now have a new location with easier parking and more accessible especially if you're bringing your whole gang for a quick treat. Ordered their Wildberry Lavender, Brown Butter Almond Brittle(BBAB) and Goat Cheese w/ Red cherries on a waffle bowl. This trio do not complement each other but really, really delightful on their own. While I was enjoying my treat I took a video of all the flavors to tell my sister about it then she asked if I could bring them a pint of their Salty Caramel and BBAB. I was worried because it was rush hour and the pints will melt in the car driving from Addison to Allen. They held up well! The brown paper sack helped with the transport to keep the cold in or maybe, just maybe because of How Jeni's rearranged the ice cream molecules to reach the outmost pleasure for us to enjoy their product. Addison is lucky to have this addition in their backyard. The employees were ver patient with you while you choose from a selection of 12+ flavors. Support local and take care of your service industry friends.

Couldn't have it any other way to end this special Spring Birthday Weekend with a sweet treat on the tip of my tongue like Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams! Yelp and Jeni treated me to three scoops of delectable flavors so I chose: Wildberry Lavender, Brambleberry Crisp, and Goat cheese with Cherries. I know you might think what a combination; they just remind me of my colorful (PISCES) personality! Besides they were playing rainbows with my tastebuds.... I also had a small Buttercrisp Waffle Cone Chip in my bowl. This is the smell that's lingering down the street and arond the corner (I do believe)! The line today was so long people were leaving then changing their mind and doubling back to get back in line. Maybe cause it's Spring Break or maybe cause Jeni's is just that good! There's a nice selection to choose from also some to take home. You can choose a homemade Buttercrisp Waffle Cone or Bowl to enjoy your treat. There's also t-shirts and cookbooks to purchase. I just loved the layout. It's small but colorful, clean, and smell oh so good! The customer service was absolutely outstanding as well! Thanks Taylor and Thank you so much @Semhar M. & Yelp DFW team for another great experience! Very well made product that doesn't melt quick. I couldn't eat all of mine in one sitting so I placed my small bowl in my passenger seat and it lasted the trip from Addison Tollway to West Frisco Teel Area without melting.

Came here twice with my family. This ice cream shop is pretty cute, however slightly over price for what you get. Yes quality is great, but the scoops are pretty small. Flavors are not too sweet and the ice cream is very creamy. Last time we went here which was a few days ago we found hair in our ice cream scoop which was pretty gross. I still don't know how I feel about this place.

Who doesn't love ice cream?!?! I am excited that Jeni's expanded in the dfw area with better parking and seating! A friend of mine got me addicted to this ice cream place as soon she told me they opened in deep ellum. So to find out they made one in Addison, I had to go check it out and I was not disappointed. Ice Cream: - BrambleBerry Crisp: Tasted like a good mix of blackberry and hint of something else. It is not overly sweet. So it's a perfect for someone who wants a fruity taste but not tart. - Wild berry Lavender: I am a sucker for a good Lavender ice cream. Although I wouldn't say this is my favorite lavender ice cream. It is still amazing and tastes wonderful. Like the brambleberry, it is not tart. However it does have a bit more sweet taste to it. - Brown Butter Almond Brittle: This is how it sounds and you will not be disappointed. Probably one of top flavors at Jeni's! I highly recommend this spot, as it is my favorite ice cream spot to go to in Dallas! 10/10! Go check out Jeni's in Addison!!! You won't regret it!

Ice is my favorite dessert, and this place was so great. The waffle cone is different and sugary and this place has fun different flavors to try like coffee with cream and sugar, middle west whiskey and pecans, and Brandied banana brûlée. Cute, clean friendly, and fun for a quick sugar fix, spacious parking in Addison, and worth a try!

I discovered this ice cream shop during a Yelp Elite event, and I couldn't wait to come back! The staff is extremely friendly and the shop is filled with lots of colors and stickers for the kids and adults that are kids at heart. This time we ordered a mix of: Cold Brew with Coconut Cream, Brandied Banana Brûlée, Brambleberry Crisp, Goat Cheese with Red Cherries, Coffee with Cream and Sugar, Blackout Chocolate Cake and Wildberry Lavender. All the scoops are perfectly creamy and full of flavors! The biggest surprise was the Goat Cheese with Red Cherries... it's like eating a cherry cheese cake. A little bit of tart, a little bit of sweet and a lot of goodness! I whole-heartedly recommend this place! Definitely a great way to cool down during the Texas summers!

We first tried Jeni's in Atlanta. My kid loves the bramble berry crisp, so we were thrilled when we saw it open up in DFW! The ice cream is delicious and high quality. Super creamy and the flavors are rich and interesting. Also the staff was really helpful and friendly! We tried the goat cheese and red cherries and it was fantastic!! Bought a pint since it's a limited flavor. It tastes almost like creamy sweet cheesecake but with chewy tart cherries in each bite to offset the sweet. Highly recommend!

Seriously good ice cream. Tucked between Shake Shack and Pho Bowl, they picked a perfect spot as you can drop right in for dessert after having a bite next door. Tried their dairy free options (more than just sorbets that other shops only offer)- the Texas Sheet Cake is decadent and hard to believe is dairy free. The chocolate truffle is ok, but once you've had the sheet cake it makes this one a little forgettable. The cold brew with coconut is really good too, fantastic coffee taste and shockingly creamy for something dairy free. Staff is super nice and helpful, the shop itself is great with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Will definitely be coming back to try other flavors.

Yummmmmm! I absolutely loved trying out this ice cream place!! Didn't realize they were a chain based out of Columbus, OH either!! Ambiance was clean and fresh! Staff was friendly and helpful. Flavors were unique and tasty!! Got a single scoop of the goat cheese ice cream, and a trio in the waffle cone of banana brulee, cold brew and coconut cream, and dark chocolate cake ice cream. All were powerful flavors that worked well. Adding this to our short list for ice cream!

This is such a cute lil place to get some ice cream, especially on a hot day It's creamy & subtly sweet, just how I like it! The staff are friendly, & they use high quality ingredients for their splendid ice cream~ Today, we got a scoop of honey vanilla & a scoop of salty caramel. Such a great combo! What's the connection with Ted Lasso and Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream? That's what you may be thinking to yourself when you enter this place. Ted Lasso plastered everywhere! I've heard of Jenni's but never knew an actual store existed. And I'm not exactly sure what the connection is with this ice cream brand and Ted Lasso, but I think it has to do with an ice cream flavor named after an episode from this show? Never watched it but now I'm intrigued to do so. Moving on -- ice cream flavors here are really interesting and really delicious. Gooey butter cake, lemon bar, brambleberry crisp, Texas sheet cake - list goes on! All really delicious flavors that make you want to choose them all and luckily you can for about $21. For my first time, I went with the standard 2 scoops - 1 scoop of the gooey butter cake and 1 scoop of the brambleberry crisp stacked in a waffle cone bowl. The waffle cone bowl is the perfect size and has a salty bite to it which helps cut back on the sweetness from the ice cream. Friendly ambiance with great customer service. Warning for *germaphobes* - you may not like the fact that they give you samples on metal spoons. Not sure if they are willing to provide you a sample on a plastic spoon but it's worth asking for. Nice ice cream place with indulgent and satisfying flavors. Definitely worth a try!

I would sell my soul for a jeni's ice cream cone. It's expensive but what isn't nowadays. You can taste the quality for sure, and that slightly salty cone is I haven't had any bad flavors either. I always get the sheet cake (dairy free but you can't even tell) and I've started getting the brown butter almond as well and I'm obsessed. Will always drag my mom or whoever I'm with here if we're in this shopping center!

I have yet to try a Jeni's flavor that didn't delight me. To place the word 'splendid' in your business name is risky because it sets the bar pretty high, but so far 'splendid' is a perfect adjective to describe how wonderful the ice cream is. First, let me say that I had been so disenchanted with other ice cream parlors as of late. At other places, I swear they are upping the sugar and lowering the cream and other quality ingredients. Not at Jeni's. The flavors are complex, creative and most importantly, you can taste the quality. There is a stable of core flavors as well as rotating seasonal ones. No matter what way you lean when it comes to flavors, there's something for everyone. Some of my favorites are the Rainbow Frozen Yogurt (so tart!), the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake and the Mexican Hot Chocolate ( the dash of cayenne at the end will blow your mind). The team who works here is super-friendly and always willing to walk you through options and offer free samples. As for dining in, the downside is that there should be noise abatement measures in place as it can get ultra-loud with only a few people in the space. But, there is outdoor seating if very loud spaces are not your jam. Last, the Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream app is a must. You earn points with every spend and after $100, you get a $5 coupon! I'm so glad Jeni's is here. I've been so thrilled with the inventive ice cream flavors, the service and the quality of the product. No doubt I'll keep coming around every time I get an ice cream craving and introducing it to all my friends and family. Everyone should know about this place!

Jeni's makes some super high quality and rich ice cream. Noticeably better than the artisan ice creams you find at fancy supermarkets. I had a trio with a waffle bowl. They offer so many interesting and delicious flavors that it was a struggle to pick only 3. The brambleberry crisp flavor is superb - loved the contrast of the tart berries. Single scoops are $5.75 and pints are $12. Luckily, for my waistline and lactose intolerance, Jeni's isn't very close to where I live so I won't be tempted to have it all the time. Pros: The first place I've ever seen to offer an ice cream flight with 10 flavors. The freshly-made waffle cones smell amazing :)

I initially tried this a few weeks ago and it was so good that I had to double back! The goey butter cake is the best with the pieces of ice cream included! I can't wait to come back again!

Always such excellent ice cream! We have tried almost all the flavors and nothing but winners. I think the Peanut Butter with Dark Chocolate flecks is particularly good. For non dairy, the coconut coffee and Lemon Bar are both stellar. The cones and waffle wedges pair amazingly well with their buttery/salty taste. If you are in the mood for ice cream you need to get to Jeni's ASAP!

Jeni's is great! No matter what location in whatever city you have it in, it's great. Just plain and simple. I'm glad that this location just opened as I've had Jeni's in St. Louis (my hometown) and Charlotte and no matter where you have it, the ice cream is consistent. I came here yesterday and had a mini scoop of mint chocolate chip and white chocolate peppermint. I was concerned about how the flavor combo would be but was in a minty and chocolaty mood. The combo was excellent and I kind of liked the WCP better than my all-time favorite MCC! The service was also great and friendly as the scooper was very patient with me as I couldn't make my mind up on what flavor I wanted. The prices are kind of high, but when you taste the quality of the ingredients that are used, it will make sense why the price is on the high end of the spectrum. I also think there's possibly been a price hike since Covid, but inflation is happening everywhere so what can ya do. I'll be back for sure!

Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream was absolutely amazing! The interior was clean and quaint. The ice cream itself was scrumptious! I've had good ice cream but I'm not sure if I've ever had anything so jam- packed and bursting with flavor! We really enjoyed the Texas Skillet Cinnamon Roll and the Salty Caramel. Yum!
