Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams – Sweet Treats in a Stylish Setting Located at The Beacon La Costa, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams brings its famous flavors to this vibrant and upscale plaza, attracting crowds—especially families and sweet-tooth lovers. The store’s modern interior features wooden seating, warm yellow lighting, and a clean, inviting vibe that makes indulging in ice cream feel a little extra special. The plaza lights at night add a touch of charm, turning even a quick dessert stop into a cozy outing. Jeni’s offers a wide selection of classic and seasonal flavors. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient with my flavor sampling. The fruit-based scoops leaned on the tart side, while the Honey Vanilla Bean, Salty Caramel, and Brown Butter Almond Brittle stood out for their smooth texture and rich taste. I tried three scoops in a waffle bowl, but found the bowl itself overly sweet, especially paired with already sweetened ice cream. That said, the flavor quality and presentation were impressive. The only caveat: it’s a bit pricey at $11 for a three-scoop combo, but worth it for a special treat. Parking is easy, with plenty of spots close by, and there's bench seating outside that’s great for relaxing—plus it seems pet-friendly too, making it a great spot for a walk-and-snack experience. If you're in Carlsbad and craving a delicious, thoughtfully crafted scoop, Jeni’s is definitely worth the stop.

When I am even remotely close to a Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, I always stop in for the 4 scoop study or sampler. My favorite flavor is the Jeni's Rainbow Buttermilk Frozen Yogurt. It's a blend of raspberry, key lime, and passion fruit yogurts, combined with fresh yogurt and cultured buttermilk for a unique, bouncy texture. Tart and delicious! We also ordered Goose Tracks, their take on black raspberry chocolate chip, and it was delicious! Richard n to Jeni's and thank me later! ✌️

We held a business event here with our chamber and it was great. Such great flavors, fun atmosphere, great staff. I love how they structure it so you get two flavors. Super fun.

Very delicious ice cream spot in the area. You can tell it's good because there's always a line, even later in the evening. The workers are always willing to help choosing flavors and letting you sample them all. My favorite flavors were the butter cake and brambleberry crisp. They always play around with spicy chili which is awesome. My only star off is that it's pretty expensive for just a standard 2 half scoops, almost $8. That's a lot. But considering the geographical location and the people who live there, makes sense.

Google
Alright, so for purpose of full disclosure I'm a big Jeni's fan. Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's hard to find, and yes sometimes their flavors are too wrapped around themselves, but damn is this good ice cream. The shop here in California is really nice. The portions are proper for the price and the staff is really cool. The shop needs to be bigger however. There's barely enough places to sit, and seats that are available are confined to an uncomfortable double line.

I went to check out my new dental place and happened to see this place. Since I'm an ice cream fanatic I just have to try it. It is a very popular place according to Google review too, but it a little let down because I didn't find it any different from other ice cream place. I order 3 scope and it was kinda small for that price n cost like $8.75. They have different flavor to choose from n vegan selections too. If you happen to be close by and wanted ice cream, give it a try but it not unique or different from other ice cream place.

Best icecream in the world. Top flavours: Gooey Buttercake Brown Butter Almond Brittle Brambleberry Crisp Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flakes The waffle cones are a must have!

Google
Great ice cream spot in Carlsbad! We've eaten there in DC and Atlanta so great to see them making it out west. Very clean, minimalist decor and vibe. Super unique and innovative flavor combinations, a gourmet experience for sure. Everything about the experience was first rate, staff was very firendly and helpful. They are great for allergies too, clearly labeled dairy free and sugar free options. I'd give 6 stars if I could, I'll be back very soon!

Yelp
Jeni's decided to check out the hype. It's worth the try. The decision making & tasting is part of the experience. While you wait for you tasting turn I'd recommend you open their app, check out the flavors. We found all their flavors to be rich, deep sweetness with star ingredients plentiful in each bite. Waffle cones were a bit thick, but tasty! The staff is very attentive and patient, so polite- I wondered what etiquette school they come from. Recommended, especially bring the kids, tasty memories

Yelp
This place was definitely delicious! They have a great selection of flavors to choose from. I had the sampler and each flavor was amazing! The gooey butter cake was def my favorite. Super creamy, and just so good! The service was great the young lady helping allowed myself and nieces to try multiple flavors before making our choices. This place was very clean and cute inside. A little small but has some seating inside.

Yelp
Oh man. We didn't enjoy any of our choices. Waffle bowl tasted like it was kept in a humid room too long. Not crunchy at all. Ice cream tasted like it was made with bad water. Kids didn't want it but were polite until we got out of the store. Decent parking if you are patient. Located in a plaza. No complaints with staff.

Erik J.

Yelp
Ice cream is great. Good variety and tastes delicious. Only problem is it costs an arm and a leg and you get a tiny serving. It's way overpriced for what you get. Cali cream in Encinitas is a way better deal. Way more flavors, way larger servings, cheaper. If Jeni's prices came down or they started serving larger portions, I might come back. Service is friendly, but line can get long. Atmosphere is straightforward. A few tables. Well located in a nice shopping center. Good parking. Clean interior.
google avatar

Yelp
We came towards the end of the night so it was a lot slower than right after dinner when all the young families go. It's just great ice cream, great staff, and a sweet time all around. We also love that their bowls and utensils are all compostable. Their darkest chocolate will satisfy anyone's chocolate needs.

Yelp
I had placed a to go order at shake shack and couldn't help but smell something sweet in the air. My nose led me to this place. Super cute ice cream parlor. Nice large menu on the wall displayed all the flavors they currently were serving. The service was great! I tried the brambleberry crisp, gooey butter cake and the sherbert with a waffle bowl on the side. I usually prefer going to Handel's but I was impressed with this place. I'd go again if I'm close by for sure.

Yelp
I had my first taste of @JenisIceCreams the other night at the Carlsbad location, and ... Wowza! I got there about an hour before closing, thinking it would be fairly quiet. It was dark out, but the shop was brightly lit and the signage is large, so the location was easy to spot. The parking lot was fairly full, but I lucked out and found a spot steps from Jeni's. There was just one person ahead of me, so I had a little time to look at all the flavors on the Board and mostly decide what I wanted by the time it was my turn. Luck was on my side again, because shortly after I stepped up to the counter, a big crowd of people started coming in. I took that as a wonderful omen about the ice cream. And because I pretty much knew what I wanted, I placed my order fairly quickly and didn't feel like I was holding up the line. I chose Burnt Orange Dreamsicle, Salty Caramel and Darkest Chocolate. They were all OMG amazing. Rich, creamy, full of flavor. The Dreamsicle was nothing like the Creamsicle I used to love as a kid when the Good Humor man came driving down our street on summer evenings and all us kids on the block would run inside yelling to our parents for money so we could buy ice cream. It's a fond memory, but time moves on and I'll take Jeni's Dreamsicle any day over the Creamsicle! The other two flavors were equally amazing, but sorry, Dreamsicle, the Darkest Chocolate was sublime and easily my favorite. The waffle "cookie" stuck in the ice cream was very good, not too sweet, and had a great crunch. The young woman behind the counter who took my order was very sweet, kind and helpful. The shop is cute, bright and had an exit door to the side, so I didn't have to squeeze through the crowd on my way out. I highly recommend Jeni's and hope your experience will be like mine--splendid!

Yelp
Very bright but cozy ice cream place. The service was amazing. Super friendly, offers samples (very important) and was very patient with our indecisiveness. We ordered the Brown Butter Brittle, the Strawberry Buttermilk, but the star of the show is their Gooey Butter Cake. Gooery Butter Cake is a must try. It's like cheesecake, it's like gooey cookie dough, it's like cake crumble, it's a bunch of different things.. but it works! We got it on a bowl w/ a cone top, pretty much best of both worlds. Was here for a Yelp promo, glad we tried it. Jeni, we'll be back.

Yelp
Popped into Jeni's before heading to a wedding close by. To maximize our opportunity in trying multiple flavors, we opted to get a flight (10 scoops for $21). We tried various flavors from brambleberry crisp to gooey butter cake to salted peanut butter to wildberry lavender. Most of us were not fans of the wildberry lavender as it was quite strong but for those who do enjoy lavender, you may like it. My favorite of the bunch was the brambleberry crisp - sooo decadent with a nice hint of sweetness from the brambleberry. Second contender was the gooey butter cake which was a cream cheese ice cream with vanilla cake and caramel-butterscotch swirls. Season flavors available as well! A delicious treat if in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Still my favorite ice cream shop. Nobody else does better vegan flavors. They are always switching out the flavors without anything feeling too gimmicky.
google avatar

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Delicious and efficient when it comes to scooping and serving customers! They do a lot of unique flavors and collabs, but of course I had to try Ted Lasso's Biscuits with the Boss. Pints are sold out in store, but you can buy online. Scoops only are available in store. Their type of ice cream is more cream based, but smooth and rich in flavor. They have space for dine with counter seating and tall bar counters.
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
Came here after dinner and it was the PERFECT palate cleanser I love love love tart flavors and omg the seasonal nebula berry DELIVERS!!! If you are a tart flavor fan you need to try this! Also got lemon bar which was a wonderful texture combo, brambleberry crisp and darkest chocolate. Felt like we got the best of everything with the 4 scoop order. Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Lu L.

Yelp
The ice cream is mighty tasty. Very sweet! They have a wide variation of flavors. My favorite was the dark chocolate. YUM. Will be back! Parking can be tricky here as the lot is usually fairly full.
google avatar

Maggie W.

Yelp
I loved this ice cream, the service was great and the flavors were delicious. My only complaint is the prices. I split this flight with my friend so it was a bit cheaper, (~$5) but the smallest size was $7+. Recommend splitting the flight.

Yelp
Was a beautiful sunny day for some splendid ice-cream...that is some Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams at the Beacon. I had a big lunch and was looking forward to treat myself with dessert. I've been to another location...remembered my experience so I was curious to try it out. Was easily accessible to get there...that's a great location! There's ample parking spaces and outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine. Once inside the ice-cream shop, it's clean and bright with fun decorations BUT this shop didn't smell of fresh waffles (red flag). I was in a fruity mood so I ordered the Strawberry Buttermilk and Wildberry Lavender flavors to go inside my waffle bowl. Unfortunately, I was rubbed the wrong way when a customer who walked in after me decided to just walk up to the cashier and the staff proceeded with his transaction for a gift card. I was like "what the....I was here FIRST". I brought this to the attention of the staff and all he said was, " Oh I didn't know". :-o Anywho, the ice-cream was yummy BUT the waffle bowl was NOT. It was stale of course with a weird taste so I threw it away. :-( Could it be because "only" one person was working in the shop? I recommend more staff.

Yelp
A great choice for dessert after a date, family outing, catching up with friends, or just to satisfy a sweet tooth! Jeni's is bringing so much liveliness to a plaza that was always pretty empty in the many years I've lived in the area. There is always a line out the door, and for good reason! How can you resist the smell of fresh waffle cones when you're walking by? "I'll go in just to take a look" is what they all say, and then walk out with a bowl of ice cream, every time. Jeni's has many unique flavors if you're feeling experimental like me, and some safe twists to classics like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry that anyone can appreciate. The staff is so friendly and patient, and will help you out with finding a flavor that you like. I also love that they list the calories next to each flavor, so that I can pick one that I feel a little less guilty about! Their prices are a little steep, but honestly I don't mind it because it's clear that they make their own ice creams -- and you get like 2 flavors per order, so it feels a lot more worth it. Im glad to see such a unique new dessert shop in La Costa!! Cant wait to try the new genmaicha seasonal flavor :)
google avatar

Yelp
We stop by this location since we have relatives in the area. Anytime we pass thru, we make it an effort to grab a couple pints. We love this location since it easy to find parking, lots of it, and it's generally a safe and well lit area with other eateries in the same plaza. This location sits at the corner of El Camino Real and La Costa where the lux/fancy gym is. The times we have gone, there has been no lines, so it's easy to grab the pints from the freezer, pay, and leave. The pints are expensive though, but worth the splurge. I typically get the coffee flavored and my kids enjoy the strawberry flavored. Super creamy and delicious!!!
google avatar

Annie Y.

Yelp
There are plenty of parking spaces. They have some indoor seating available. They have so many variety of ice cream choices and all the ones I've tried were so good. I ended up getting their coffee and I don't remember what the other flavor I got was...but their flavors were delicious and not so sweet! Usually, other ice cream flavors are too sweet for me, but this one was the perfect amount of sweetness. They are smaller scoops for the price point than other places, but I think it's worth trying! Recommendation(s): - Coffee - Basically any of their flavors ;) Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Accept Apple Pay - Limited indoor seating - Plenty of parking spaces

Yelp
Have been anticipating trying this ice cream establishment for some time now! First heard about them while on a trip in Chicago, and been debating ordering pints online. Stumbled upon this location while casually searching through yelp after dinner. I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED. Such good, unique flavors, that aren't overbearingly sweet. Also love how my favorite mix of flavors is actually a dairy free option!!! The place itself is so clean, and the ladies were very helpful. Definitely came home with a few pints!!!

Yelp
Delicious new ice cream shop in the heart of North Park! Jeni's is a popular ice cream pint- find them at Ralph's, CVS, Whole Foods etc- but Jeni's only have a select number of scoop shops, and this location is the second in San Diego! Parking Street parking or park in the garage on 29th St. Service/Wait Time Very fast service and bonus- they encourage you to try all their different flavors. There's about 16 flavors to choose from- a huge variety and some vegan! There's no tables or seating inside or outside so you have to take it to go- but that is my only note! Ice Cream I love Brambleberry Crisp, Honey Vanilla Bean, Powdered Jelly Donut, and Sweet Cream Biscuits & Peach Jam! Definitely try flavors that call out to you. It's a little pricey- $7 for a normal size, and $1.50 for a waffle cone, but the quality is unmatched! Overall, I would highly recommend Jeni's as one of the best ice cream spots in North Park!
google avatar

Haley H.

Yelp
This Jeni's is awesome! It is a chain ice cream shop but this one is our favorite! There is tons of parking available and Tesla chargers if you're into that. It's a tiny shop but still has plenty of room to sit. Walking in the door, the scent is amazing from the waffle cones. You can try every flavor before you order and a small comes with 2 scoops so 2 flavors. Super fun place to come with the family!
google avatar

Sylvia H.

Yelp
I've been interested in trying Jeni's for awhile and was happy to do so. The number of ice cream flavors is a bit deceptive as they repeat. I got a vegan lemon shortbread and it was so delicious that I went back for the pint. I wasn't going to get it originally cause of the price but given what I paid for the single scoop, it wasn't as bad for the pint.
google avatar

Charlize V.

Yelp
Loved the vibes of this place! The smell was very good already. You can sample flavors and there's a good variety. The scoops are a bit small for the price, but still very delicious. I would try to find Jeni's pints at grocery stores now. My partner and I enjoyed the genmaicha, coffee, and brambleberry flavors!
google avatar

Danielle L.

Yelp
I was not as impressed by Jeni's as I thought I'd be; after eyeing their pints in the grocery store, I was excited to try out their ice cream at their shop after it opened in Encinitas. The shop is cute and the service was great. We were able to sample a variety of flavors before making a decision. They also don't charge extra for a split scoop (2 half-scoops of ice cream instead of 1 single scoop). I enjoyed the Brambleberry Crisp, especially because it had the oat bits mixed in. However, the Gooey Butter Cake was too buttery; it tasted like I was eating butter. The waffle cone was also waaay too salty. It was saltier than it was sweet. With other options in town, I'm not sure I'd come here again. Maybe I need to try their other flavors!
google avatar

Hili N.

Yelp
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is a must-visit! The waffle cone and chocolate ice cream I tried were absolutely delicious--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The customer service was fantastic; the staff were friendly and quick to offer samples, making it easy to find your favorite. If you're after a special treat, Jeni's won't disappoint. I'll definitely be back for more!
google avatar

Mina R.

Yelp
Very nicely decorated to match with the Carlsbad theme. The creamiest ice cream in town! Their staff are all friendly and helpful for all the samples you want because there's so many flavors offered.
google avatar

Sharon W.

Yelp
This is a cute Jeni's ice cream location! I don't have a lot of dairy but I make an exception for this place when we're in town. LOVE the brambleberry crisp flavor!
google avatar

Tammie W.

Yelp
Jeni's still got the goods. We swung by last Saturday for a sweet treat. The new biscuits with the boss was out (Ted Lasso) which was delicious based on the sample we had. It was very buttery and had hints of salt throughout. I ordered the lemon bar which was dairy free and vegan. Super creamy and yummy. My favorite though to date is the brown butter almond brittle. I thought the brittle was going to be too hard once it got cold, but it was delightful, in tiny pieces and easy to eat. Please start selling the sticky cinnamon bun ice cream by the scoop though. We're only allowed to buy pints of it, which was disappointing since it won't stay frozen on our drive home back south.
google avatar

Yianni A.

Yelp
This place is what I call upscale ice cream. I like how they periodically change flavors and have diary free options! Each ice cream cup comes with a waffle treat, how nice. People there are very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this place over a handles or general ice cream store anytime!
google avatar

Lindsay L.

Yelp
Super cute ice cream parlor! This is a charming and unique ice cream spot to check out, especially for summer time. The decor is fun, fresh, and stylish. The service was helpful and attentive as well. The team members allow you to try as many flavors as you'd like, which is very helpful if you're visiting for the first time. I ended up going with a scope of milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Both scopes were very tasty. My friend got a scope of peanut butter chocolate and dark chocolate, she really liked it as well. The only recommendation I'd give is to make the scopes bigger. For me, it's better to have too much than not enough. But overall good experience.

Yelp
This is a very cute ice cream shop in The Beacon shopping center at La Costa x El Camino Real in Carlsbad. The Beacon has really turned things around in the last year or two and there are several great places in here to check out. The smell of waffle cone pulls you in, it smells absolutely delicious in here! We stopped in to Jeni's after lunch at The Wise Ox in the same center. This is my second time coming in. The first time I tried some samples (very gracious since we told them we were just checking out the shop) but didn't buy ice cream. This time we had a ton of samples again (they are super nice about this) and bought ice cream. Great note, they use reusable spoons for the tasters and have you return them for washing. Every flavor I tried (and that was a lot of them) was great. My boss is still talking about the goat cheese red cherry ice cream which is a seasonal flavor in Jan/Feb. I'll have to try it next year! I finally got a "scoop" (you can get two 1/2 scoops of two flavors this way) of Brambleberry Crisp and Rainbow BFY Yogurt the guy helping me suggested. The yogurt was refreshingly tart and delicious! I was really impressed with the non-dairy flavors too - the lemon bar one was excellent and I almost got that. I also really enjoyed the Wildberry Lavender flavor - my co-workers ordered that. They sell pints to go too, which is a nice option. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is it's expensive. One scoop (2 half scoops) and a little triangle of waffle cone was $7. A nice treat, but pricy for a scoop of ice cream!
google avatar

Mateo V.

Yelp
This is a good ice cream spot, but limited in flavor options. Perhaps we're spoiled by Baskin Robbins large selection. The ice cream was good, although, we prefer it more creamy and less icy -- so perhaps Jenny's is more healthy in some way ... but who eats ice cream for health reasons?! They did, however, have dairy free options was is nice for someone that can't have dairy. Also, waffle cones here are what made it stand out, and for me is the reason why the 4 star versus a 3 star. It's a solid ice cream shop, but nothing we'd crave again.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Our favorite ice cream!!! I love how the waffle cones are slightly salty, it compliments the sweet ice cream so nicely. I've never had a flavor I didn't like.
google avatar

Simon N.

Yelp
throw up on the street right in front of the store. waited in line next to it for 20+ minute smelled awful. employees threw water and napkins on top of it. irresponsible.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
Jeni's ice cream is FANTASTIC! They offer lots of gluten free (although no cones) and vegan options. The ooey gooey butter cake (surprisingly gluten free!) is my favorite. Staff is knowledgeable about allergens and the shop itself is super cute.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
THE CUTEST AND YUMMIEST ICE CREAM! If you want unique ice cream flavors or a waffle cone or even just a cute spot for photos, this is your shop! Came here for a quick Valentine's day dessert, and it was majorly cute and surprisingly tasty. I'm not personally an ice cream girl, but the Brambleberry crisp in the waffle cone was a perfect treat. Interior is SO cute, it speaks for itself. 11/10 recommend!
google avatar

Nijole T.

Yelp
The ice cream here is absolutely delicious! I am so glad they are opening up more locations throughout California, they always have new flavors in stock! Service was very friendly and helpful. Prices and portions are fair, especially considering the quality and care they put into their product. Perfect for a sweet treat, ideal for families as well!
google avatar

Kristi C.

Yelp
Pretty storefront. Cool flavors. Cool ambiance. Even the bathroom is as cute lol. Ice cream was yummy. Waffle cone was a little too salty for me but not horrible.
google avatar

Zofia G.

Yelp
OMG, so good. The ingredients are fresh. The flavors are unique. The ice cream is out of this world!
google avatar

Yelp
Love love love. I get the Ooey Buttercake + Lemon and Blueberry. Must try! Staff super sweet and helpful as well. Vibes are 2024 Summer Sweet Treat Must Have!
google avatar

Alan S.

Yelp
This is top 3 in my craft ice cream list. Much like Salt & Straw, Handel's, and now Jeni's. They will be opening a new store in North Park soon and the ice cream is worth the visit. Customer service was great and cordial, they let me try way too many samples and my kids loved the kid cone. For February they have a promo for $35 for 20 tokens where you get a kid come per token. What a great deal. Traffic was non-stop in a cold day, speaks a lot to people wanting Jeni's ice cream. I got Brambleberry Crisp and Gooey Butter Cake. So rich and tasty. Two scoops are $6.25
google avatar

Lindsay P.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of this place! It seriously smells so good when you walk in! It has a kind of gourmet/fancy vibe and the interior decor is nice. The ice cream is definitely worth it, although a bit pricey. I tried the brambleberry cobbler-style ice cream in waffle bowl. It really was high quality and had great flavors. I will be back! Great for a date night peeps!
google avatar

Sandy C.

Yelp
Such a great little ice cream shop! So many tasty flavors! My favorites today were the almond brittle and the peanut butter with chocolate flakes. Very friendly service too!
google avatar

Steve Z.

Yelp
So delicious and not overly large portions which is what I prefer (smaller portions but high quality). Service was good. Plenty of chocolate flavors :). Try the dark chocolate.
google avatar

Aaron S.

Yelp
Nice little ice cream shop. A change from the normal shops but not a huge selection and prices are a bit high for the amount of ice cream. Still, this place feels very homemade and authentic and not a chain spot which has tons of appeal for me. it is worth the few extra dollars for a smaller serviing and limited selection to focus on the quality of the few flavors. Very cool place (get it), LOL, check it out.
google avatar

Neil M.

Yelp
We stopped in last night after we heard from a friend about the great ice cream here. I loved it! The ice cream is very flavorful, and it's got just the right soft / melt factor. We both found multiple flavors that we like so we will be back again to find our very favorite. It's not the cheapest ice cream in the world, but I think it's worth the extra little cost - so delicious! (And the staff are very friendly too.)

Yelp
I love this ice cream shop, with its rotating list of fun and delicious flavor combos! We've been here several times now. First was the Yelp elite week, where we got a free ice cream. Second, when we went to their grand opening celebration. We got a free ice cream, and a free swag bag because we were near the front of the line (and yes, there was a very long line, with us sitting in chairs hanging out, LOL). And now we've been back on our own dime. Everyone is super friendly, and happy to let you try whichever flavors you select. The Broadway and movie showtune playlist had us playing Name That Tune the whole time we were there, so good job! I get excited when they mention new flavors are launching. Butterscotch popcorn? Hell yeah! We usually get a larger one and share it, because that saves you some money, and you get to enjoy more flavors. And you have to add a waffle bowl! It has a few seats right on the window, but most people seem to stroll the center with their ice creams. And next door is Shake Shack, so you have a meal combo right there! Lots of parking in the center, and other businesses like a wine bar to entertain you.

Yelp
We were in Carlsbad for the week and I knew we had to stop by Jeni's! Located in the Beacon plaza, I could already smell the sweet scent of freshly made waffle cones from the parking lot. The staff was friendly and I love how they let you sample flavors beforehand. I decided to get their "Trio" ($7.25) of the Brambleberry Crisp, Darkest Chocolate, and Bombastix Sundae Cone. The Brambleberry Crisp was my ultimate favorite! I loved the swirls of the sweet but tart brambleberry jam and chunks of oat streusel mixed throughout their vanilla ice cream. Their Darkest Chocolate was a very close second as its creamy chocolatey goodness also had me salivating. The only one that was a miss for me was the Bombastix Sundae Cone. As a huge fan of waffle cones and chocolate, I was actually most excited about this flavor, but it fell a bit flat and I didn't really get any pieces of waffle cone. Nevertheless, I love how Jeni's includes a small waffle cone triangle with every order, even if you order a cup, so I still ended up getting a bit of waffle cone yumminess! The price is reasonable for the quantity and quality of the ice cream too. The scoops aren't huge, but are a good amount if you don't want to feel overly guilty!
