Came here kinda like around 11pm and got to sample a few ice creams before deciding on three flavors! Got a waffle bowl along with the hot fudge on top overall 5/5 dessert 🍨 for the sweet tooth lovers!

Jeni’s Ice Cream is a very decent place with a good variety of ice creams. The flavors are unique and enjoyable, making it a nice spot for a sweet treat.

This was our first time trying ice cream at Jeni’s Splendid! Oh My it was over the top yummy~lious! Ava greeted us with a smile and was very kind when we asked her all kinds of ridiculous questions about all the amazing flavors and how we would possibly choose! Highly recommend coming here!

Great ice cream spot! Pictured is the Honey Vanilla Bean and the Brown Butter Almond brittle. The brown butter almond brittle was my favorite of the two but I wish there was more almond brittle in my scoop :(

Biscuits With the Boss Ice Cream Pint / shortbread cookies in sweet butter cream ice cream - 5 🌟! Jeni's and Ted Lasso teamed up recently to offer an absolutely brilliant ice cream flavor. It's such a great idea to combine shortbread cookies and ice cream! It was a temporary flavor and might already be out of stock, but they have a lot of other flavors and toppings to satisfy everyone. Jeni's is a local favorite and has a few locations throughout SoCal. I'm lucky to have a location within walking distance of my actual home. The day I came into to get the punt, they had just been getting waffle cones ready, and the whole shop smelled amazing as a result. It made the visit more inviting. I am not ashamed to admit I ate the entire pint in a single sitting. I have a big impulse control problem when it comes to ice cream. And again, this particular flavor was a knock pit of the park for my tastes.

Magpies Soft Serve was closed, but that led us to Jeni's which was still open super late! This was our post Greek Theater Concert treat stop! I'm vegan and got the Lemon Bar (YUM), and the rest in my group (not vegan) were very happy with their waffle cone bowls and variety of seasonal and classic flavors. Lemon Bar & a Chocolate Cake were the only two vegan flavors available, but since I can't have chocolate that late at night, Lemon Bar was my choice. They do offer a "kids scoop" for those only wanting one scoop. When paying for the ice cream, I notified another vegan flavor in the pint freezer. They had one open for samples and they gave me a bite to try. Great flavors, easy parking (after 11pm lol), and open late! Was nice & clean inside and had seating available indoor and outdoor.

This was a cool neighborhood ice cream spot on Hillhurst in Los Feliz! We had dinner down the street and my friend said we should walk over and get ice cream. We walked down the block and got to Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. This place has lots of flavors as you can see from the menu and seems like a good spot to drop into when you've got a sweet tooth, after a good dinner or just when you're in the mood. They have very reasonable prices and the staff scoops your ice cream right in front of you. There's also like 30 flavors to choose from and the ice cream tastes sooooooo good! You won't be disappointed. I'd never been to this place and haven't been to this area for quite some time. There's street parking if you can find it as well as parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. They also sell drinks and have a small counter you can stand and eat at. It might get crowded during the peak times and there are several benches outside you can eat and people watch on, but I don't think they seat more than 10-15 people. Worthwhile place to fall by when you get a chance!

My husband and I made a quick stop here after watching a movie. This location is in a very cute part of town. There are a lot of other retail shops and restaurants near, and there's ample street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. The servers helping us with our ice cream were so patient. My husband and I both sampled 3-4 flavors each. They were very knowledgeable about all the flavors and really took their time with us. They did a great job balancing our order while still attending to the others who kept arriving. I ordered the gooey butter cake and goat cheese with red cherries. Both flavors were delicious. They were creamy and well balanced. It is a little pricey for ice cream, but would pay for it all over again.

Yum!! The ice cream was so soft and creamy. My boyfriend and I shared and it was the perfect nightcap. The person helping us was so kind and patient when we were trying all the flavors. The inside is also super cute and I enjoyed how late it was opened for a week day!

They had a lot of flavors to choose from. I ended up doing the lemon ice cream, which was vegan. That one was my favorite, very light and refreshing. The other one I got I think was a blueberry cobbler type one. It was good but nothing special. The service was great. The two girls behind the counter were extremely friendly and made good suggestions. I chose to sit outside on the little bench that they had to enjoy it outside.

I've already been back to Jeni's in Los Feliz twice in a week, and every visit makes me love it more. The variety of unique flavors is incredible, and while I've sampled quite a few, the Brown Butter Almond Brittle has completely won me over -- it's creamy, and absolutely addictive. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the vibe of the shop makes it an easy place to hang out and enjoy a scoop. Definitely one of my favorite ice cream spots in LA.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams - Los Feliz Rating: 5/5 - Strong scoop game. Look, I'm an ice cream guy. Not in a "just a treat" kinda way--I respect the craft. Rolled into Jeni's in Los Feliz and went straight for the "Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks and Brown Butter Almond Brittle" --no regrets, no looking back. I know that's a lot of words but I'm sure the scoopers would pick it up if you said SPB given their text strong brains. I'll try next time - LOL. This stuff is legit. Creamy, rich, with real chunks you can sink your teeth into. None of that airy, fake-sweet nonsense. This is the kind of ice cream that makes you nod slowly while staring into the distance like you just tasted victory. Tried JSIC before with my daughter on the East Coast, had to double check if LA could bring it too--and yeah, they brought it. Big flavor, fresh feel. Good thing it's calorie-free... or we're pretending it is. Bottom line: it's the kind of ice cream you flex about later.

I appreciate you so much for training your employees to be so knowledgeable about your products. I came here with my family and one of us has a tree nut allergy. We were very careful as to what we sampled but also as to what we ordered. It is nice to be able to enjoy samples when you go to a small batch of ice cream place like this. This is my daughter's favorite "fancy "ice cream shop. It is always a real treat when we are able to come here. They have really great holiday and seasonal flavors. Parking can be difficult as it is only street parking. Be sure you feed your meter. There's a nice bench along the side of the building where you can go and enjoy your sweet treat with your sweetheart.

Jeni's never disappoints and I love that!!! I love that the flavors taste exactly how they sound. This visit we got the trio - bramble berry, butter cake flavor, sweet cream peach biscuits flavor. The butter cake is tasty but very rich and sweet. I love the flavor but the sweetness is too much for my taste buds lol This location is small but they have everything and the service is great bc they are patient with allowing you try as many flavors that you'd like before making your final decision! I'm waiting for them to put more Jeni's in the OC area!!

Best Darkest Chocolate Ice Cream! If you're a true dark chocolate lover, this is the ice cream for you. It's rich, bold, and intensely chocolatey--like biting into a decadent bar of 85% dark chocolate, but creamier and colder. No weird aftertaste, no excessive sweetness--just pure, deep cocoa flavor. Easily the best dark chocolate ice cream I've ever had!

They have a $2 off for December before 5pm (picture) Super nice and helpful staff, I like that they also use metal spoons for samples to reduce waste. Too bad they give plastic spoons to go. Fun ice cream shop with a lot of flavors to try. I also like how they have all the allergies clearly labeled. Anyone from the area knows parking is hit and miss in this area. I lucked out on a spot. Just really good ice cream. Not cheap but good amount and great to split like on a date.

Jeni's is a classic favorite, and this location is no different! Their rotating seasonal flavors were fun to try but I always end up with my favorite, brambleberry crisp. Service was quick and friendly on a Friday night! We went with three half scoops and a pint of brambleberry crisp. We tried the waffle cup this time, which I thought was too salty. There is limited seating but was able to find free parking on the street.

Jeni's Ice Cream is amazing! The flavors are so rich and delicious--every bite was a treat. Definitely one of the best ice cream spots around!

We've been coming every weekend lately and every time we come here they always have new flavors available. I had the Goose Tracks today made with berries and also has tiny pieces of chocolate which was a nice addition to the berry flavors. We had ladies serving ice cream today and all were very nice and welcoming.

Always a great place to visit for ice cream! I try to check out their seasonal specials and tonight's did not disappoint! The Blackout Chocolate Cake flavor was decadent and rich. A perfect chocolate ice cream flavor. Coupled with the Ooey Butter Cake on a waffle cone, it was a great combo! The place was busy but the servers were nice and helpful. I was able to sample all that I wanted before landing the perfect dessert. Looking forward to trying new flavors in the future.

You can never go wrong with Jeni's! Probably my favorite ice cream shop. I've eaten at the location on Larchmont, but this was my first time at the storefront in Los Feliz. It was a cozy store with incredibly sweet staff. My friends had asked for several samples since it was their first time there, but the staff continued to be patient with us. My go-to order is the single in a waffle cone. I love how they do 2 half scoops with this order since I like to try several flavors. I got the Gooey Butter Cake on the bottom and the Salted Peanut Butter w/ Chocolate Flecks on top. Gooey Butter Cake: Vanilla base with chunks of butter cake swirled throughout. It's not too sweet and provides nice textural differences Salted PB w/ Chocolate Flecks: Slightly salty PB ice cream that offsets what could be too sweet. The flecks of Chocolate add a nice crunch.

Are you and a friend indecisive? Get the $10.50 4 scoop option, it's a TON of ice cream and you both save a couple bucks. All the flavors are very clean palette wise but pack a massive punch. The servers are incredibly kind and gave me a triple scoop with a waffle cone for free on my birthday. I highly suggest to anyone who wants interesting flavors that are not too sweet.

Jeni's is an excellent addition to our Los Feliz neighborhood, and always worth the visit. Bring the kids. The ice cream is delicious - I encourage you to be adventurous. While their mainstays (Lavender is a favorite) are always solid, they have new flavors on rotation regularly, they are always excellent, and make a return trip worthwhile. The service is good, and quick. My only gripe about this otherwise excellent location is a lack of seating. While there are a few benches inside and some nooks aside the windowsill outside, you will find most ice-cream enjoyers walking down the sidewalk. Ice cream as spectacular as Jeni's should be savored sitting. Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance / Facility: 3/5 Value: 4/5

I was first introduce to Jeni's ice cream by my sis and fellow yelper, Nadia Q a few years ago. The shop inside is super cutesy and inviting. The staff is super nice and they let you try as many flavors as you want. They have two refrigated cases with about 6 to 8 flavors each. They also have, merch and pints of their flavors to go. Some of my favorite flavors are the lemon bar, buttercream birthday cake, coffee cream and sugar, and the milkiest chocolate. They have a limited holiday flavors that are delightful as well, seven layer bar and boozy egg nog are a must try. I love how they serve the scoops in a cup with a piece of their crispy waffle cone. Clean place and clean restroom. Street parking only.

Finally tried it... My lady & I went on a Friday evening... There was hardly a line in front of us but the line grew as we were paying for our scoops and pints. Jeni's Splendid has a good sized space on a corner along the Hillhurst corridor. There are some bench and individual seats along the right side as you walk in. They have merch, water for customers & a ot of ice cream flavors to choose from. All of which sounded great as you went through the descriptions. I really enjoyed the Brown Butter Almond Brittle in a waffle cone and it was delicious. Brown butter almond candy crushed and mixed in their signature buttercream ice cream. It was rich and it was very good. My lady got a trio of Brambleberry Crisp (2 scoops) & Pistachio Macaron. She liked her choices a lot as well... We also bought a pint of Jeni's Milkiest Chocolate ice cream. It was so good... There's a little bit of maltiness to it that I really liked. I will grab another pint when we go back for sure. The employees were very nice and patient with us first timers. We appreciated that. I also like how they are open til 11pm on weeknights and 12am on weekends... for that late night ice cream craving. BONUS STAR: Met a fellow Yelp Elite that I've been following since Day 1. Robbie B. That was a nice surprise and I'm glad we finally saw each other. Street parking only. Feed the meters until 8pm.

Jeni's ice cream used to be exciting, but lately it's just disappointing. The new strawberry flavors were amazing, and then you discontinued them barely two weeks later. Meanwhile, you keep pushing the same boring flavors that anyone can find at Whole Foods or Pavilions for cheaper than the two scoops option. Why bother having two freezers full of the same tired options? With fall coming, the menu feels so stale something's missing new fall flavors or kids flavors. Add some real variety like cookies and cream, vanilla with brownie chunks, or even a vanilla and chocolate swirl for people who don't want heavy chocolate all the time. maybe think about kids for once, because right now there are hardly any flavors that children actually get excited about. My last visit was honestly gross. I got two scoops in a mini bowl it melted almost immediately and what my my experience worse, the server behind the counter was talking with a mouth full of saliva while making my ice cream. I couldn't even enjoy what I bought because I was too busy hoping spit didn't end up in my bowl it's unhygienic. Jeni's was an amazing place to eat ice cream, but right now it's slipping fast. The flavors are boring, the options are limited, and the in store experience made me lose my appetite. If you want to keep customers coming back, start listening and switch up the menu before people stop bothering altogether. Jenni's is expensive and good high quality ice cream but it's time to bring back or add new flavors to the menu please.

Jeni's is a go-to, must have treat when visiting family in St. Louis. I splurge!! The original flavor I crave is no longer made - Sweet Cream. It's the original mix before flavors are added. But, I found more faves: Brown Butter Almond Brittle, Goat Cheese with Red Cherries, and Wildberry Lavender.

We were looking for a place for dessert last night and found Jeni's, a cute ice cream shop with great service and endless samples. Whether you're dairy free or gluten free, Jeni's has something for you. I had the Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks and it was delicious. My next flavor choice will be the Texas Sheet Cake.

OMG! Simply the best ice cream I've had so far! I got the sampler since I wanted to test out different flavors and it was worth getting! It's the perfect way to experience a variety of their creative and crafted flavors in one sitting. Each scoop is rich, creamy, and packed with bold flavors. The staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic, always ready to recommend combinations that appealed to your interest. The ambiance is charming and fun, making it easy to enjoy every last bite. If you're an ice cream lover or just looking to treat yourself, the sampler is a must-try! Parking can be a pain but it's worth it!

I sampled half the flavors in stock I wanna say, and the employee was very patient me whoever was attending to my sugar needs. A guy with dangling earrings, did not get a name apologies. I asked for the fan faves which were too rich and/or weird for my liking, then asked for his favorites and those were what I went with. A seasonal sweet potato pie flavor, dark chocolate, and I wanna say an almond chocolate something or other? Idk. The waffle cup is definitely buttery as stated. The half scoops are honestly regular scoops by 1950s standards, Americans just have gotten fat over time. Pay more to get more and eat more I guess is the standard now. Anyway. Sad for my diet but eating my feelings helps me for the 20 minutes or so it's happening, and this is some tastily flavored sugar tbh. I can't be a regular here for obvious reasons. It's a little pricey because it's gourmet, as goes in LA.

Jeni's has a really awesome selection of ice cream flavors, but tbh none of them quite hit the mark for me! All of them were too sweet for me, not to mention how expensive it is! Even flavors that I knew I would typically like, I didn't quite fall in love with when I tasted the free sample. I think this place could benefit from re-examining their recipes, since it seems like I'm not the only one who thinks the ice cream is too sweet from skimming the other reviews. The creativity is there with the flavors! Just needs some tweaking in my opinion. Portions are great though and texture is very creamy.

I love Jeni's ice cream!! I got my fave gooey butter cake and tried the new seasonal flavor, tropical bloom (delicious!). I had such an awesome experience at Jeni's thanks to Nick :) He was incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. He took the time to walk us through all the flavors, answered our questions with so much genuine enthusiasm, and encouraged us to sample whatever we wanted without rushing us at all. Nick totally elevated the whole ice cream run -- 10/10 service, would come back just for him (and gooey butter cake)

What can I say, it's a Jeni's. I'm going to rate them high simply due to their awesome product. I liked how this location had a water station up front since it was a really warm day out; I've never seen this at their other locations. My wait was brief and although they were out of the delicious limited edition Strawberry Shortcake, I went with a scoop of strawberry buttermilk and milkiest chocolate and all was fine. I always enjoy the waffle wedge included, and I left happy. It doesn't take much for me to be satisfied here! Perhaps it's just me being clumsy, but the only thing that could be improved up on is their spoons; for some reason, they feel 'sharp-edged' to me (and probably no one else) but I usually have utensils in my car from other orders where I just pull another spoon from there. Parking is horrible in the area, but I was in and out rather quickly.

Love Jeni's and also love that this location stays open late for late night munchies :) We came here on our way back from the Hollywood Bowl and it hit just the spot! They have lots of ice cream flavors to choose from and one thing I like about Jeni's is that they stick to the classic and don't go overboard making out of the box flavors. Sometimes the simple flavors are all you need. The staff are all very nice here and samples are encouraged. They also have a nice public restroom.

3.5 stars. The ice cream is solid. Nothing amazing, but it's solid. I wouldn't ever say no to coming back here but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here.

The ice cream from here is top tier. Anytime I'm in LA I try to stop by and I've suggested this place to so many people, they all love it! Service is great, you can sample flavors and they're more than happy to suggest a few. Great vibes, go get some ice cream.

Love the Sweet Cream Waffle Ice Cream. Its FIRE, The best place in the Los Feliz area. Nice people, and very good ice cream selections. Not so much on the pricey side either. Just what a man or women could ask for.

Stopped by to get ice cream for my son and I after a doctors appointment. Oh boy !!! I forgot how expensive this place is. Two very small tiny scoops of ice cream (see picture) $7.94... too sweet for my taste buds but my son loved it..... They have a lot interesting flavors and they also have to go containers.

Been coming to Jeni's for a few years now, ice cream is always delightful. There are always new flavors to try, which keeps it fresh. There is usually a line inside, so expect a slight wait, though the line does move quickly. Samples are available so you can make an informed decision on which flavor you prefer. My qualm is that, often the flavors I want to sample and potentially get as a scoop in a cup are only available via pint purchase. Makes my stomach sad, so I end up going with my fourth or fifth wanted flavor. Also, prices are on the steep end, unfortunately. But, if you're in the area of a Jeni's, and don't mind spending extra for ice cream, try it out

This was my first visit to an actual Jeni's location, and it did not disappoint. The staff was amazing. They happily offered up samples to help me navigate the incredible flavor selection. While I can't speak to every flavor, the Gooey Butter Cake lived up to the hype. It was pure, delicious indulgence. But really, you can't go wrong with any adventurous choice you make. Bonus: Top-Tier Merch They have some seriously cute merch too. I may have resisted the urge to snag the adorable orange-sicle colored handbag, but it was definitely tempting!

Came here last night right before closing with a decently large group. The employees were awesome troopers for tolerating us coming in last minute but we really wanted ice cream after dinner, lol. I believe I reviewed that location really high prior and nothing has changed. The ice cream here is delicious and the folks are great. I wanted to try that Ted Lasso themed ice cream 'Biscuits with the Boss'. It was so good. Makes me excited for watching the next season, ha ha.

I came in with a friend and we were able to taste as many samples as we wanted, which was great because I couldn't choose between five or so flavors- they all looked so good! I ended up getting the fluffernutter and butter cake in a bowl with a waffle cone piece. The staff were nice and patient with us, and there was enough seating inside at the time for us to enjoy our ice cream in the store.

I've heard so much about Jeni's and was happy to see they have a few dairy-free flavors! Certainly not many but 3-4 flavors. I tried the Lemon Bar ice cream and instantly loved it. I got a kids scoop, and every order comes with a small triangle of waffle cone. The ice cream had a lovely brightness about it from the lemon yet it was still creamy as it's made with coconut cream. Such good flavor! There are small pieces of shortbread in it which makes for great added texture too. Yum yum!

My first time trying Jeni's even though I pass by so often. The store is nice and clean and the menu is fun with seasonal goodies. I wanted to go for something 'basic' and got the blackout chocolate cake. It was so rich and indulgent. I thought the scoop size was small but in that flavor, it's not. It was almost too decadent for me. If you love dark chocolate, id recommend it for you.

Average service; Average ice cream (too sweet for my taste) but like others mentioned, $$$$ and not very generous servings: 2 tiny scoops for 2 kids( 2 inch diameter) for $11; I prefer salt and straw!

If Jeni's allowed me to set up a cot upstairs to have ice cream every day until I died, I would sign up in a heartbeat. It's always good and always an adventure with their new flavors. It's a must-try. Just trust me.

My favorite place for basic flavor type of ice cream. This place has your basic chocolate and vanilla ice cream, but they make it way better and tastier! It's just so good!

The first time I had Jeni's ice cream was when I was studying in Chicago. I was amazed by their ice cream. It's thick, flavorful and layers of taste. I had the same ice cream in this location. The flavor is as good as it is. Consistent. The space gives me a chill and calm vibe. Easy to find parking during weekdays.

I was excited to see there was a Jeni's when I was in Los Feliz. When I go to the Larchmont location, I always order the trio of smaller scoops so I can try multiple flavors because it's so hard to choose just one. I had tried Milkiest Chocolate (4 stars) before, and it's true to its name with delicious creamy milk chocolate flavor. It paired well with the Brown Butter Almond Brittle (5 stars) that had just the right amount of sweetness and bits of craveable almond brittle. I enjoyed the fruity flavor and the texture of the oat streusel in the Brambleberry Crisp (5 stars). I got my trio in a Waffle Bowl (2 stars), which I didn't finish. It had an odd salty after taste so it seemed like an off batch. My husband is allergic to dairy so it's nice they dairy free options for him too. He liked the Cold Brew with Coconut Cream, and he finished it before I was able to sneak a quick bite. Service (4 stars) was great. They moved quickly and were careful not to add the complimentary waffle chip to my husband's order since it includes dairy. I'm glad I tried another excellent Jeni's location, and it did not disappoint.

I've passed by the Los Angeles location many times but only tried their ice cream recently. I have to say that I wish I tried their ice creams years ago! Their gooey butter cake was an amazing texture, with the right level of sweetness. I've also tried their brown butter almond brittle which is a customer's favorite. ALSO MY FAVORITE! I ordered mine in a bowl waffle but you can also get the cone waffle instead. I loved that option! They also have the option to order pints to take home for any major ice cream lovers. The story behind the ice cream development was also very memorable and adds a nice touch overall.
