A Running List of Los Angeles Restaurant Closures in 2024 - Eater LA

"Rose Avenue ice cream parlor Jeni’s has closed since around the end of December, though word is that the artisan scoop shop has reopened as a stand on Windward Avenue closer to the Venice Boardwalk. Jeni’s still has locations in Larchmont, Beverly Hills, the Runway in Playa Vista, Calabasas, Los Feliz, and Highland Park within the LA area." - Eater Staff

Google
Jeni's has really good ice cream. We have been to locations in many states now and it is always good. I also like that they offer smaller scoops so you can try different flavors. I really like their waffle cones as well. Gooey Butter Cake, Brown Butter Almond Brittle, and Salted Peanut and Chocolate Fleck are my favorites.

Sasha C

Google
Cute ice cream shop with delicious waffle cones. Their waffle bowl smells so good and has a great crunch. They have a bunch of flavors to choose from. The darkest chocolate and mint chip are my favorite ones. They have a bench in front as well as seating in the back of the shop.

Google
After being recommended for this ice cream shop, it is the best dessert shop of the must-visit course when you come to LA. This place, which makes you taste and feel good, makes you visit again.

Google
Cool place! Ice cream is bomb AF! And they have a few dairy free options. Got there and realized the worker was dealing with someone that wanted to taste every damn option they could. The employee kept their cool and then helped us. Super dope customer service with info on the ice cream while you're tasting it! Cool little spot for some ice cream and it's open till 11 pm it says! Go check it out! Parking can suck but there's a neighborhood around so yeah!

Google
Jeni’s is really good! Out of all the flavors that I’ve tried so far, my personal favorite is the Brambleberry Crisp. I tried a few of their seasonal flavors — Rocket Pop and Sweet Cream Biscuits and Peach Jam — but personally, they weren’t as good as the Brambleberry Crisp. Their waffle wedges are so good! Although there are no samples due to covid, the workers are so sweet and they do a good job explaining the flavors. Parking is decent.

Google
I'm not going to lie, I've walked right past Jeni's many times to go to Salt & Straw because... well, it's Salt & Straw, IYKYK! Well, S&S was packed, like line out the door, so I decided to try Jeni's since there was no line at all. When I went in, they were only selling pints, which is why, I'm assuming, there wasn't a line. I was going to grab pints anyhow, so I decided to try them, and OMG, I'M SO GLAD I DID! Their ice cream is bursting with flavor, smooth, creamy, and literally made me do a little dancy dance with every spoonful. I woke up this morning and B lined to my freezer for a few spoonfuls, plus it's sold in several nearby stores, which is awesome. So, so good! These are my favorite 3. They are $12 per pint at the ice cream shop but much less at the grocery store.

Google
This is our new favorite ice cream and gift of choice. We have sent 4 different birthday shipments since April and everyone says it's the best present ever! We agree, everytime we send out a shipment we end up getting jealous and going to the shop to pick up some pints for ourselves. Our faves are Boston cream pie, salted peanut butter and chocolate flecks, sun popped corn and browned butter almond brittle. But honestly even our least favorite flavor we pounded so fast which is a sign that they are all so so good. P.S I have all their cookbooks and their recipes are so easy and relitively quick. Love love love jeni's!

Elaine

Google
We ordered two singles: one had each scoop of chocolate and vanilla bean and other had each scoop of rainbow and lemon bar. LOVED the lemon bar. They also have vegan/dairy free options.

Yelp
I had an eyebrow appointment at Damone Roberts across the street. Got there a little early so I decided to try their ice cream. I'm not really a fan of ice cream, especially places like Salt & Straw, I prefer going to Thriftys inside Rite Aid. First, the girl working Saturday evening was so nice and patient, and also recommended I try the Vanilla Bean flavor... No lie, it was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised. The shop is sort of small, luckily I left just as a lot of people came inside. Definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Looking for chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry? Well, you might not find those exact flavors at Jeni's. But they have dark chocolate truffle, honey vanilla bean, and brambleberry if you're okay with that! This creative scoop shop is along Larchmont Boulevard, close to a bunch of trendy boutiques and eateries. Parking is usually a challenge, but there were lots of open spaces during the evening. There are meters and paid lots scatter around. I found a free spot on 1st Street near the Chase bank branch, which was less than a minute on foot. No indoor seating, but there's an outdoor patio in the back with tables. And there's one small bench facing the street. Jeni's has close to twenty ice cream flavors to choose from, with a handful of dairy free options. I got to sample a few, they were patient and I never felt rushed. Each one is unique, and all use high quality ingredients. Gooey Butter Cake - prominent but pleasant caramel butterscotch taste Brambleberry Crisp - creamy vanilla mixed with tart jam Darkest Chocolate - pure cocoa flavor, not too bitter or sweet Only thing I didn't like was the buttercrisp waffle bowl because it was super salty. The sweetness from the ice cream was not enough to offset it, so I ended up throwing the rest of my bowl in the trash after I was done. Thought it was a one-off, but one of my friends got a cone and said the same thing. Besides that, the flavors were indeed splendid! Pick up a pint before you go home!

Yelp
i've been going to this jeni's for a few years and the service is always phenomenal. there's always a new flavor to try and this time it was hot toddy. i was intrigued and tried it and was so pleasantly surprised!! it felt like an adult minute maid frozen lemonade. also i highly recommend the wild berry lavender; i truly cannot go to jenis without it. it's very cute inside and they have an outdoor patio. but can get kinda crowded when it's busy.
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
I really enjoyed Jeni's! I got the lavender flavor and it tasted super floral and creamy. The interior is super cute with bright colors and overall a very warm feeling. We had to wait a while for another person's order to finish so the person behind the counter gave us a discount which was so sweet! Love the service!

Yelp
I ordered the affogato with the birthday cake ice cream. Their ice cream was delightful but the espresso shot was weak. It was not a dealbreaker, but it was noticeable because their espresso shots didn't stand up to the sweetness of the ice cream. The service was quick and friendly. Our server was helpful in letting us all get samples to try. She was great at multi-tasking and didn't look annoyed with how indecisive we were. I appreciated that a lot. There are lots of benches nearby for you to sit and eat your desserts. If you walk a bit farther, you'll see large tables with benches - perfect for large groups like ours. Jeni's is a family favorite and will always be our number 1 go-to for ice cream.

Yelp
Though I am lactose-intolerant, I love ice cream so much. I would carry lactase with me just in case I needed it. Jeni's is one of my favorite ice cream shops of all time. There are several well-known ice creameries in the area, especially in Los Angeles, but I suppose I like Jeni's the most. I first tried it in Chicago many years ago and ever since then, I have been following Jeni's. I usually get the same thing every time I go: Brambleberry Crisp! I never get sick of it. It literally does taste like pie with ice cream, as they describe it. Darkest chocolate is another favorite. Creamy, chocolatey, and smooth, but also rich in flavor. I like it. I recently tried a limited-time flavor, which was Upside Down Pineapple Cake, and it was a great choice too! I love anything with pineapple, so it was very pleasing. Samples are available upon request, and everyone who works here has always been so friendly! I usually get Standard, which comes in 2 flavors or scoops, but when I am feeling full, I get the Kid's Scoop, which works perfectly every time!

Yelp
Jeni's is probably my favorite ice cream spot in a city that is blessed to have a wide variety of choices when it comes to ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt, and other frozen desserts. What really sets this place apart for me is the wide array of unique and tasty flavors and their impeccable customer service. Pop on in to sample their various offerings, many of which vary from season to season based on what's in season. They also sell pints of their most popular flavors for you to enjoy at home! This location doesn't have its own dedicated parking lot so you may have to drive up and down the street to snag a metered spot. Enjoy your cup or cone in their back patio or take a nice stroll up the street to Levain Bakery for a cookie! It's a dream combo that can't be beat!

Yelp
Just a lil ice cream shop in Larchmont village with some unique flavors to choose from- not the classic ones you'd see somewhere common like at Thrifty or Cold Stone. I tried the gooey butter cake and coffee with cream and sugar and it was SOOOO GOOD! Personally it is a bit TOO SWEET, however the flavors were definitely appetizing. I would come back! Just wish it'd be less sweeter (and I have MAJOR sweet tooth).
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
First time trying out this location, and Jeni's never disappoints. The customer service was excellent, and the interior was clean. They introduced new, delicious flavors, but I stuck with my go-to, the Gooey Butter Cake. It's delightful with pieces of yellow cake in the ice cream. Overall, a great spot for dessert after lunch or dinner."

Yelp
My family's favorite ice cream place!! Good ingredients, great flavors, and pleasant service! Highly recommended!

Yelp
4+ and the quality of ice cream at this location is consistent with their other locations. It's among my favorite in the city. And ice cream here is always great and there's always fun flavors, including permanent, and seasonal. The service here it was very friendly, and the vibe was kind of like a small ice cream shop. I will say that this location feels a little bit more cramped than the other locations due to the smaller footprint. Came here after a group dinner not too far away. I feel like the Larchmont area has become a lot more lively since the last time I visited during the night time. There are also seems to be a lot of desert offerings on a few block radius. Jeni's is always a nice choice. I got the standard and split between two flavors - Brown Butter Almond Brittle & Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks. Both were super tasty as expected. I definitely would return, but I prefer some of the other locations only because this area and the logistics of the crowds are a bit much here. Not to the fault of the shop itself, but just a personal preference with regard to the area in general.
google avatar

Matthew Y.

Yelp
The icecream at Jeni's is the best I've ever had. The gooey butter cake had the perflect blend of richness and comfort. The staff was also friendly and allow you to try as many samples as you would like. There is a somewhat hidden sitting area in the back with nice aesthetics.
google avatar

Yelp
Yummy ice cream! First time here and I had the regular size, 2 half scoops. Flavors were Nebula Berry and Bramble berry crumble. It was a really good combo! The service was nice and the store was clean. I'll be back for more!
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
You can sample the ice cream flavors! I love the ice cream here bc it's perfectly sweet and creamy. And the interior decor is so fun and colorful. This was my first time here. It was slightly busy but we only waited about 5-10 minutes. I got the standard with 2 scoops. The Gooey Butter Cake was my favorite flavor here. It was SO GOOD!! Omg, next time I'm here - I'm getting a pint. The honey vanilla bean was delicious as well. I like that they add a waffle crisp even if you don't get a cone but I thought it was too sugary. There's a couple street benches outside that you can chill and enjoy your scoops.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this ice cream spot. The website listed so many fun flavors that I was looking forward to trying. Out of all of them, there were only a handful that I could actually get a scoop of in store. Most, if not all, of the best flavors you had to buy by the quart (which is, in my opinion, extremely overpriced). I ended up paying $17 for two people to each have a scoop in a cone which I think is ridiculous given that the scoops were fairly small and there weren't many options. I've had Jeni's before and have been disappointed. I think the quality of the ice cream is fairly good, especially if you find a flavor that you like. But, the lack of selection in flavors and the lack of availability of the advertised flavors on the website made me leave the review that I did. The service at this location was great -- the employee was nice and I appreciate their reusable tasting spoons to save the environment a little bit. However, there is no seating for this location indoors so you might want to save your visit for a warmer day when you're walking around outside and feel like you could sit on the bench and enjoy a scoop. That being said, I think there are much better dessert options on this block.

Yelp
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is on trendy Larchmont bl in Larchmont Village. Stop in here because my niece wanted ice cream and this shop offers some vegan and dairy free options I have been here before but I'm not a hugh fan of ice cream that's been exposed to multiple people hands. I noticed some staffers with gloves and others ungloved. My niece ordered a bowl with two flavors. Before the staffer began preparing the order, I requested he put on a fresh pair of gloves. The staffer name George obliged and maintained a positive attitude and helped us with a smile. Another staffer name Shawn only dealt with the payment process, so no touching any of the ice cream. It would be perfect if ALL the serving staffers put on a fresh pair of gloves as well as a face mask even if it's not a mandated policy. I like ice cream but usually do not eat it because of all the high sugar and fat content. I know this shop offers dairy free, but it would be fantastic if they had a sugar free, fat free, vegan and gluten free and All organic yummy flavor :) I know this would be the dream ice cream of all and it'll be created soon. Meanwhile, my niece liked the flavors she chose. The shop is small with the ice creams on display and there are No seating inside. Outside there are two wooden benches to sit and enjoy your ice cream while watching people and pooches pass by during another sunny day in LA.

Yelp
I tried Jeni's for the first time and it was delicious! I'd say on par with Salt and straw if not better! My favorite flavors were the gooey butter cake and the almond brittle! I hope they expand to the bay area soon! :)
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
My favorite ice cream store in LA hands down and there are tons of ice cream stores even on the same block as Jeni's. I prefer their creamy flavors over their sorbet or icier ones but that's my preference. There is also a "hidden" area you can sit and hangout and eat your ice cream at the back of the store! The workers have always been friendly and helpful and patient and will let you try multiple flavors before you make your choice! Def a must try for ice cream!
google avatar

Michelle R.

Yelp
I appreciated how clean this place was and how friendly the servers were. I did enjoy the ice cream but in my opinion after a few spoonfuls, the peanut butter one was too salty for me. My friend did enjoy the rest of it on my behalf. I enjoyed the bramble berry. If I were to come again I would get the honey vanilla. Also just a heads up the ice cream is very sweet and so are the cones.
google avatar

Tim E.

Yelp
The brown butter almond brittle is the best imo. Second best is the lemon bar. They'll give you a scoop to try of every flavor before you make your ultimate choice. Of course I tried everyone of them to make that decision. I got the brown butter almond brittle with honey vanilla bean on a waffle cone. My mom got the lemon bar in a sugar cone. Service was swift and friendly. They were not pushy so I didn't feel like I needed to choose something immediately though there was a line. The place was well lit but nowhere inside to sit so it's a grab and go place. Parking is street parking in front of this location or anywhere you can find a spot on the streets.
google avatar

Keilab A.

Yelp
Jeni's is my favorite ice cream shop. All of their flavors are delicious and I wanted to try their new Genmaicha flavor. It was very tasty and I loved the mild roasted tea flavor. I wish the marshmallows were bits of mochi though. The coffee with cream and sugar is a classic and is so good. The service was great and the inside of the shop was clean and cute!
google avatar

Abi B.

Yelp
This was a great find. It hit the spot after all you could eat Korean barbecue. The flavors were so amazing. It was so smooth and palatable. My family and I all got different flavors so it a played out like a sampler bar which is more of what I was looking for. You can't go wrong with your choices here.
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
Creamy ice cream, great selection of flavors. Loved that we got to sample whatever we wanted. Only problem was it wasn't even hot outside and the ice cream started to melt and drip as soon as we walked out of the shop. I had the sugar cone which was good and my husband had the waffle cone which is usually my fav but I felt it was a bit too thick. Would recommend the signature flavors.. brown butter almond brittle, gooey butter cake, salted peanut butter fudge.. Overall, good quality ice cream.

Yelp
SERVICE - located off of Larchmont Blvd - metered parking available - no indoor seating - workers are super friendly and knowledgeable. Ours was very wiling to let us sample as many flavors as we wanted MENU - some standard and some unique flavors - a few vegan options - decent priced ($6 per scoop) - comes with free waffle chip FOOD - lemon drop (7/10): creamy coconut base with lemon curd and biscuit pieces swirled in. I liked the contrast between the tart curd and the sweet cream. This flavor was seasonal to February and the server recommended it as his favorite of the three vegan ones. I liked it but not sure if I would get it again - Texas sheet cake (8/10): dark chocolate ice cream with cake pieces and fudge mixed in. As a chocolate lover, I personally liked this flavor better. The chocolate tasted rich and authentic and was not masked with sugar. The fudge swirls were creamy and thick and tasted like hot fudge sauce. WOULD I COME BACK? It depends on the flavors. While I liked the two that I ordered, they were the only vegan ones available in store. I might buy pints from Whole Foods or Sprouts to eat at home.
google avatar

Manjari P.

Yelp
Bomb ice cream, got the brambleberry and gooey butter and I'm still salivating. Nick was the best, he patiently explained every flavor to my friend who asked to sample so many things. Keep up the good work, we will be back!!
google avatar

Nikki S.

Yelp
Who doesn't love ice cream on a warm June especially with somewhat unique flavors. Perfect to stroll Larchmont village while browsing. On this encounter I tried the lemon and blueberries parfait. It's a little on the tart side but it paired well with the sweetness of the gooey butter cake and bramble berry crisp. I also tried a sample of the wild berry lavender and that was good. But the lemon and blueberries won me on this round. Take some home with you. One scoop isn't enough.
google avatar

Gessica T.

Yelp
Jeni's is just the best ice cream shop there is! First time at the Larchmont location didn't disappoint. We came on a Saturday night around 9pm and it was empty. We were helped right away and they took their time grabbing us samples and making suggestions. We got a half scoop of Bombastix Sundae Cone (which is a summer special) and half scoop of Coffee with Cream & Sugar (which is made with Intellgientsia), but it was hard to decide because there are so many good flavors to choose from. Since we always have a tub of Brambleberry Crisp in the freezer at home, we wanted to try something different and this combo was the perfect after-dinner treat. Love that it comes with a waffle crisp! Parking was surprisingly easy for us this time, there's lots of paid parking around the area. The shop itself is super bright, colorful, and clean, perfect ice cream shop vibe.
google avatar

alexandra k.

Yelp
I'm originally from Ohio, so Jeni's has a special place in my heart. I tried her Rainbow which was tasted like rainbow sorbet, and the honey vanilla bean which was light and a subtle delicious twist on a classic. The star off was just for the waffle cone! I typically like them at other shops, but if was a bit too sweet and a little thick for my taste.
google avatar

Gabriel Z.

Yelp
Jeni's is probably my favorite ice cream shop, and has been for about 5 years now. My wife and I wanted to try new flavors today, and ended up with the Bombastix Sundae Cone and Coffee w/ Cream & Sugar. Both were really good, but I must say-- Jeni's Coffee flavor ice cream is probably the best coffee-flavored ice cream I've ever eaten! Shoutout to the worker for the rec!! (Side note: I love that Jeni's offers small waffle chips-- perfect amount of waffle for me) However, my usual go-to are Brambleberry Crisp and Brown Butter Almond Brittle. For some reason, this combo just goes perfectly. I highly recommend for those who are visiting for the first time! Part of the reason why I didn't get it this time is because I bought 8 pints (one of which I ate before taking the photo of my freezer section) As for ambiance, Jeni's exudes that classic and fun ice cream shop vibe with a modern take.
google avatar

Cat N.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Jeni's for quite some times now and finally got the chance after a private event. I went here with three other people at around 10:30pm. I liked that they offered two dairy free options that weren't sorbet. I also like that their single scoop is really two small scoops of flavors. So I got both their dairy free Texas Sheet Cake and Cold Brew on a gluten free cone. Both were really good. I like the Texas Sheet Cake more which tasted like chocolate cake with brownie bites in it. The Cold Brew was good but not creamy enough. I also got to try their Gooey Butter Cake which is also another favorite there. But mostly everything I sampled I enjoyed. Even their plain vanilla flavor is really good. You can also get pints as well. When we came their patio seating area was closed. But we sat outside which has limited seating area. Cannot wait to come back.
google avatar

Saul S.

Yelp
He is is hella proper! Good ice cream with great flavors here. I actually prefer the dairy free flavors here than some other ice cream shops. The staff here is beyond friendly and help you find the best flavor. You can taste some of the flavors before ordering. The ambiance is very dope as well! Highly recommend coming here!
google avatar

Ashley V.

Yelp
I first tried this in Chicago and so excited this is in LA now ! The service was great, they let us sample literally every flavor lol and it all tasted so good ! The ice cream is creamery and I love the unique flavors they have. Brown Butter Almond Brittle - Amazing ! This is one of my fave flavors that I tried and I would defs get it again. It's not super sweet and has a nice crunch from the almond. Rainbow Buttermilk Frozen Yogurt - Refreshing ! This is very similar to a rainbow sherbet, but probs healthier version haha it's delicious and light. Green Mint Chip - Yummy! This is a bit more on the peppermint-y side rather than just plain mint. But overall, still good !

Yelp
For over 20 years Jeni Britton perfected her ice cream made from scratch. She started making ice cream as a 22 year old student, creating her own flavors in her cooking such as rose petals into crème brûlée. Jeni's was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 2002. Today, the ice cream is made with Direct and Fair Trade ingredients with fresh milk from family dairy farms. Also, Jeni's is a certified B Corporation known for social and environmental leadership in business. Jeni's sets a new standard for ice cream. I noticed that the store is very clean and organized when I came in. There are no frills, no fuss about the place. It was a busy weekend buzz when I came in, but the staff were on top of things. I got to taste test all the vegan flavors here. Also, there are no seats inside, but right outside on Larchmont there are plenty of public seating arrangements. As a vegan, I find it hard to find delicious flavors that aren't sorbet or run-of-the-mill chocolate. I was surprised by the flavors Jeni's offers. I tried the lemon bar and cold brew coconut cream. I am a coffee lover and so I had to get the coffee flavor. It goes well with the slight coconut cream flavor. My favorite is the lemon bar flavor. It tastes like a warm hug on the tongue with tangy lemon bursts. The vegan ice cream is clean, bright, and creamy just like Jeni's standard golden rules.

Yelp
During our first ever visit to Larchmont village. we found a place with good ice cream and knew we had to come check it out after dinner. We went in and sampled some of the flavors and I decided to run with the Brambleberry Crisp and Cranberry Crumble. I took it in a cake cone and It was so good. My girlfriend had the salted peanut butter and the brambleberry crisp in a bowl with a shard of waffle cone. It was definitely nice place to try because they appear to have many of these establishments throughout LA, just not near me. Larchmont is definitely a must come back to visit but i cant tell ya more, you'll have to yelp it.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
My first time in an I was really surprised at the variety of different flavors, and the fresh butter crisp waffle cones. Def recommend the brown butter brittle. Honestly I really liked all the flavors.
google avatar

Priscilla C.

Yelp
ice cream was sooo good! unique flavors and you can actually taste all the different ingredients, not just sweet or the taste of milk. texture was creamy and did not melt really fast the server was excellent! she was able to give a quick description and the ingredients for each flavor that we sampled would definitely come back again :)
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
Very good but a little overpriced. They have lots of nice seating available outside and it's always fun to eat while walking around larchmont. The line is sometimes long, but they move quickly and efficiently
google avatar

Pasinee J.

Yelp
Love their dairy free options, im not vegan but their chocolate dairy free sheet cake flavour is my all time favourite! Not overly sweet. I got their lemon berry parfait flavour too, and taste natural and fresh! Good quality ice cream. Lovely staffs, let us try so many flavours, no inside seating but you can sit on the bench outside. Plenty of street parking!
google avatar

Veronica H.

Yelp
This speaks for all locations but Jeni's has to be one if not THE best ice cream franchises out there. From the unique rotating flavors to the friendly employees I would choose this place almost every time (except the occasional mom and pop shop). They recently had an olive oil ice cream and a cranberry crumble or something and that was the most delicious and heavenly combination of ice cream I've ever tried. If you are just visiting LA I think its a must try.
google avatar

Rebecca R.

Yelp
After hearing about all the hype with this place, when I saw it I had to stop by. The store was so cute and the service was great and the workers were quick. After sampling a couple of flavors I decided to get the classic brambleberry crisp ice cream. This was one of the best ice creams I have ever had! It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me and I liked the crispy bits. Would 100% go back and I plan to! (:
google avatar

Joy A.

Yelp
The last few times I have went, I have had an awesome experience. I have gotten better customer service recently. The line queues up in the outside and there is good control in the flow of the line but customers do not feel rushed in making a decision. Thankful for the current staff! The ice cream is top notch and I get many of my favorite flavors at stores like Whole Foods on days when I can't get to Larchmont. I prefer coming in-store and grabbing my pints there as well as a couple of scoops to enjoy outside. Flavor profiles are solid and balanced and not too overbearingly sweet. Lemon blueberry, brown butter almond brittle and brambleberry crisp are among my favorites. Metered parking is available but free residential parking is also available if you don't mind walking.

Yelp
We were looking for an ice cream place that stayed open late and we found it. Awesome staff, cute place. We sat in the pavilion outside the shop and it was fun. Really yummy ice cream. Just the kind of late night snack experience we were looking for!

Yelp
Best ice cream you can treat yourself to. There are not any bad choices here even the dairy free are rich and flavorful. Make a trip to buy a cup or pint of the best ice cream around.

Yelp
Yum, yum, give me some Jeni's ice cream is bomb! So creamy and delicious. You can taste the love in every bite! Now, they ain't cheap, but they do use top notch ingredients. So I decided to get a bunch of pints. They were all yummy but my fav was the brambleberry crisp and the lemon bar! Got to get some more......

Yelp
Where to go when you get an ice cream craving at 10:30pm?! Jeni's on Larchmont! Most of the other locations are closed earlier. This one stays open until 11pm! Since I had a huge dinner I just got a kids size sugar cone of Bramble Berry crisp. Yummy! Note, as of January 2022 they still are not offering samples.

Yelp
New favorite ice cream spot!! Their flavors are so unique. I got dark chocolate and gooey buttercake. The workers were so helpful and friendly as well. She helped me pick a perfect flavor for me and they allow samples.

Yelp
If I want to treat myself to some genuinely splendid ice cream, I make the 1 mile walk over to Jeni's and earn my ice cream. There are so many choices for ice cream or gelato in Larchmont Village yet I find myself coming back to Jeni's every time. I'm very much appears when it comes to ice cream I don't need a lot of bells and whistles or sprinkles or things mixed in Jenni's never disappoints, and it is my go to place for a little bit of indulgence. I can trust it. All of the ingredients are organic pure and wonderful, just like its concept. Favorite flavors, lavender, pistachio, coffee, and cream and, of course, their homemade vanilla. But then again, everything is homemade and delicious.

Yelp
Holy smokes this is some goooood ice cream! This Jeni's outlet is located in Larchmont so during peak times parking can be tricky, but I was able to find an available metered space on a Sunday afternoon. The employee helping me was friendly, patient and helpful. When I asked if they had any ice packs for purchase since I was taking my pints to go for an hour+ car ride, she informed me that the foil cooler bag was free with the purchase of 3 pints or more. Perfect as I was getting exactly 3 pints. Decided on Brambleberry Crisp, Brown Butter Almond Brittle, and Golden Nectar (a limited flavor) pints to bring as dessert to a dinner I was headed to. All three were amazeballs, but hot darn that Brown Butter Almond Brittle was delicious! The base ice cream is very creamy and rich without being overly sweet. Brambleberry Crisp was nicely studded with brown sugar oat streusel and blackberry jam - delightful! Brown Butter Almond Brittle was heavenly with bits of brown butter almond brittle dotting the creamy vanilla. And the limited flavor (this one was recommended by the employee) of Golden Nectar was perfect for the end of summer with its chai, vanilla and clove notes with bites of toffee candy interspersed throughout. Jeni's ice cream is splendid, but it is spendy as well (#sorrynotsorry). Each pint costs a whopping $12. But this ice cream is so delectable that I totally justify the cost to myself. Can't wait to go back for more...I only wish there was a Jeni's store closer to home.
