Good spot for ice cream. Got the darkest chocolate, so good for dark chocolate lovers. And blackberry chip. The waffle cup wasn't worth it but great experience overall. Staff was very helpful and nice. You can try any flavor.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams – 5 Stars Okay, I might be a little biased—but Jeni’s always hits the spot! I love how they rotate their flavor selection while keeping the classics around. Ooey Gooey Butter Cake is my forever go-to, but this time I also tried the seasonal Strawberry and it was chef’s kiss. I came in close to closing, but the service was still friendly and quick. No crowd this time, which felt like a little treat in itself! Jeni’s is the kind of place that works after a great day, a rough one, or just because. It’s where I meet up with friends or stop by for a casual date night—it’s that reliable. Oh, and the waffle cone pieces? So good. I wish I was a cone girl because I’d order one every time! Wonderful ice cream with so many flavors. I like that they serve half scoops so you can mix and match more flavor combos. The Scoop Artisan took their time helping me decide based on my input and gave me several sample scoops. The waffle cone is baked fresh in-house so the whole thing is just incredible. I’m glad I don’t live nearby haha

We frequently visit Jeni's and truly believe it’s the best ice cream place we’ve ever been to. Today, I tried their affogato for the first time—it’s made with cold brew, not espresso, but I really enjoyed it. We love their frequent seasonal flavors and their friendly staff—perfection in one word.

I went there around 8pm on weekdays. I was surprised many people visited to have ice creams. I ordered something chocolate and berries. I ordered standard two scoops but the portions was little big for me. The staff were kind and I could try two or three tastes before ordering.

These three flavors, lemon and blueberry parfait, sweet cream peaches and lemon bar were the best ice cream I’ve had as far back as I can remember!! All of the use cream looked great! Soooo many flavors!! Something for everyone! The staff was very helpful and patient as I struggled to choose just 3 🤠 I will return for sure!!

Apologies for the low quality photos of the ice cream. But wow, when I tell you this is one of the BEST ice cream places ever 😱😱😱😍🤩 Seriously though. It is SO good!!! I had some of the salty caramel and gooey butter cake ice cream. The way that it melts in your mouth is absolutely amazing. I did the trio where you get three half scoops with a fresh waffle wedge and it was so good. But honestly words and photos do NOT do this place justice, you just have to go and try it for yourself!!! Will definitely come back again if I can for sure! YUM!!!!! 😋🤤🤤🤤🤤

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went to Jeni's for the first time Sunday 7/12/25 around 8pm and had a horrible experience. I wanted a non diary option which I purchased. But I also wanted a pint to take home. At the register I requested banana pudding and the cashier ( young woman with cowboy boots tattoo on her inner forearm) reached into the display case and placed watermelon on the counter. When I told her that's not what I requested she said, "oh I didn't hear you". So because you "didn't hear me" you assumed I wanted watermelon. As a Black woman this was uncalled for and unnecessary. Imagine enjoying your off day, ending with a sweet treat... and racism.

Who doesn't love ice cream? If you do, Jeni's is definitely the place to go. The fact that they make the waffles fresh is a huge plus. They have a great assortment of flavors that include vegan/dairy free. It of course smells amazing in there. And the service is always quick and friendly. As mentioned in another review there is street parking but also a garage you can park in for 1 & 1/2 hours free so I'd take advantage of that!

Build is location in the corner so you won't be able to miss it. It is on a busy road. Parking you find will be behind Pancake Pantry or Ruby Sunshine for 1 HR 1/2 FREE PARKING enough to mingle and eat. The 3 flavors I've chosen is Sweet Cream Biscuits & Peach Jam, Brambleberry Crisp and MY FAV: Brown Butter Almond Brittle. This location is a tad smaller than the others but the aura is still the same like the other locations.

It had been a very long time since I stopped by for a Jeni's treat and I decided to spontaneously stop by before grabbing dinner. The staff with their ever friendly disposition greeted us and immediately with a bright gleam asked which samples I'd like to try. The line may be long, but rest assured when you are being served, you'll get 1000% awesome service! I was excited as they included new flavors ie The Biscuits and Peach Jam which was super duper delicious. It kept getting harder and harder to pick the other flavors as the Lemon Blueberry parfait, Lemon Bar which is Dairy Free, Cookie Dough a favorite, Wildberry Lavender a classic, Cherry pie (with peppercorns?!) were all beckoning to be picked. Therefore, like any overwhelmed customer would do, I picked the "Study" which included 4 scoops in a waffle bowl so I didn't miss out. Unfortunately my willpower was so low, that dessert BECAME dinner Thank you to the wonderful staff bcos y'all made my day especially Katie for being so patient and kind

When has Jeni's disappointed other than when they close?! Of course due to the location this location has a revolving door but that doesn't stop the staff from being diligent in service. The only complaint I have about this location is that the seating is very limited and awkward. The seating always ends up being in the way of the line or vice versa.

This location is ALWAYS busy! It's good for them! Line seems to be always out the door. I feel they need more employees working to get the line going faster. The ice cream is super delicious here like all other locations. The people here are friendly! Ice cream shop smells super delicious!

I'm a HUGE fan of Jeni's ice cream. Whenever a new flavor drops, I have to try it. This time, they just released their spring flavors so I was able to try the Tropical bloom, the Citrus Glaze Pound Cake, and the Raspberry Rhubarb Delight. The tropical bloom is more of a sorbet and has a citrusy tropical taste to it. The citrus glaze pound cake has Yuzu in it but also has a bitter aftertaste to it in MY opinion. Maybe they put the zest or rind in that flavor. The Raspberry Rhubarb was my favorite overall as it was well balanced and had nice cream flavor. It almost reminded me of the strawberry cream savers. My only complaint would be the size of the scoops for the price. Unless this is industry standard now about 7$ for two half scoops that are very small is a bit of a stretch. You might be better off getting a pint.

I've been to almost all the ice cream spots in town, and Jeni's is always on top of the list. Their flavors always taste exactly like their name. Fruit, chocolate, and the cake flavors have all impressed me which is a rarity for a shop to get all of them right. Employees have always been friendly to us, and get us through the line quickly. The shop is always clean/inviting inside. Strongly recommend the gooey butter cake and salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks. Those two flavors always leave me walking away shocked at how good Jeni's is. You've got to give Jeni's a try!

Unique ice cream flavors! My favorite is the white chocolate peppermint, but all of the flavors are super strong and sweet, like ice cream should be. The staff were super attentive and were glad to give out samples. Definitely worth visiting. Only complaint is that there isn't enough ice cream for the price I'm paying. The one scoop was $5 and two scoops were $7, but as you can see from the pictures, they were on the smaller side.

I love Jeni's - it's delicious ice cream. The staff at this location is so kind and patient. The people in front of us were trying so many flavors and even though the line was out the door the staff acted as if they were the only customers there. It was nice to see them not rushing people through. It does get a little loud inside but the ice cream makes everything worth it. Get a signature and try three half scoops!

Jeni's ice cream is good, coming in here you'll smell the fresh waffle cones. My favorite is their coffee and cream. They have free parking along the street and there's an hour or 2 free parking garage not too far from the store. The lines can get long during the evenings on the weekends.

You would think spending $50 for ice cream you would get spoons!! I'm staying in a hotel near by. Now I need to go find spoons very disappointed!

My favorite place for ice cream in Nashville! Jeni's has such creative flavors, both new seasonal ones on rotation and the staple core flavors. I love the texture of Jeni's ice cream, which is thicker and creamier. Favorite flavors include Rainbow BFY and Brown Butter Almond Brittle. You can sample as many flavors as you'd like (within reason). The parking at this location is sometimes tough. There's a garage nearby that allows free parking for up to somewhere around an hr and occasional street parking (paid and unpaid). Highly recommend!

This reminds me of an old soda shop. In small town USA The staff is really friendly and helpful. The numerous flavors of ice cream and bottled soda has a little something for everyone. The pictures of ice cream and the menu on the wall add to the ambiance. I ordered powered jelly donut and it tasted exactly like its name.

The ice cream is so good, the variety of flavors is great. We all enjoyed our scoops. The smell of the fresh waffle cones when you walk in is the best!. Service is great, they offer samples which is great and they don't mind when ask for a lot of samples. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about every flavor.

There were so many flavors. I ended up choosing half salted caramel peanut butter and half brown butter brittle. The ice cream was creamy and delicious, which was being enjoyed in a cold night. It was really a good price for a cup which allowed 1/2 and 1/2. Whether you are adventurous in your flavors or basic, you have many flavors to choose from such as biscuits with the boss, brambleberry crisp, gooey butter cake or goat cheese with cherries or regular chocolate.

There were lot of interesting and fun ice cream flavors to choose from. The ice cream was creamy and tasty. The price wasn't too bad. I got 3 flavors for $5.95. I got the lemon bar, gooey, and coffee flavor. I would definitely recommend the gooey one. There is a parking lot close by that offers free 1st hour parking.

I've been to Jeni's many times over the years. It is such an amazing place for a thicker and creamier ice cream. This time around we got the gooey butter cake (shout out to St Louis), double dough, and wildberry lavender. We were a little biased with the gooey butter cake and thought that was our least favorite of the three. The double dough lives up to its name, and literally has double the cookie dough than the typical similar ice cream (which is great!!). The wildberry lavender surprised us. It was so refreshing and left us wanting more!

Jeni's is always great. Fast service. Do not remember the flavor. Go to sweet treat spot.

Love, love, loved this place. Lots of ice cream flavors to choose from. They get you through the line pretty quick even if you ask for a sample. Reasonably piced and in a part of time where you feel comfortable strolling the streets with your treat. Highly recommend!

A late night ice cream craving led ti a quick stop at this Jeni's! This small shop was packed and super lively with a mix of families, college students, and older folks are hankering for some delicious ice cream. Despite the busyness we were in and out very quickly and all the staff seemed super friendly! I ordered a small cup with bramble berry crisp and honey vanilla bean with a waffle cone on top! Super creamy and delicious. There's nothing better than some ice cream on a colder night so you can enjoy it slowly without worrying about it melting immediately.

Tony was awesome!! He asked us about our night and had an amazing attitude about the super long line. He gave us a run down of the ice cream and treated everyone with kindness! We even ran into Mario!!

In my four day trip, there's been two evenings of Jeni's...and counting (I may be back tonight?! Send help.) So much to love. Great staff amazing ice cream, and an awesome location in Hillsboro. I have tried the gooey butter cake, cinnamon, brambleberry, and maple ice creams and not a ONE has been a disappointment. It's not cheap but it is worth every penny, in my opinion. This location is packed with Vandy and Belmont students, but I haven't had any issues finding a nice spot to sit and enjoy my spoils. Staff here is incredibly patient and kind. No sampling since the COVID times, but you really can't go wrong no matter what. If life finds you in Hillsboro or really anywhere near any Jeni's location, take a moment and grab yourself some scoops.

This is a cute ice cream shop on the corner of a business district. The sweet aroma of waffle cone hits you as you walk into the shop. The associates were friendly and helpful. I had the salted peanut butter with chocolate flakes ice cream on a waffle cone.

Every time I walk into or past Jeni's ice cream there is this most wonderful cold sweet smell. It is such a delightful and bright place to be. This ice cream is pricey, but there are several creative flavors to choose from. The two flavors I had were great. I favored the Brown Butter Almond Brittle somewhat over the Gooey Butter Cake. The only issue I had was with the waffle cone. It was very salty and hopefully just a mistake with the waffle batter that was made. The waffle cones and bowls are freshly made and add to the amazing smell of Jeni's. I deducted one star for an unpleasant waffle cone which almost ruined the experience.

I stopped by here and send my son into the store to get some ice-cream. I was on the phone when he ordered what I requested. When he got back to the car, the tiny scoop of icecream for the price was ridiculous. Literally half scoop in reality. I love Jeni's. I go there all the time so I was disappointed. To make matters worse, they give me something totally different. By that time I had already left and was halfway up the highway. The worst.

Plenty of ice cream flavors to pick from even if you're vegan! Definitely sample before you pick your scoop some of the highlighted flavors are a little surprising, but still delicious! The ice cream is nice and creamy, even the dairy free texas sheet cake flavor was smooth. Favorite flavor was the salted peanut with chocolate flakes which had the perfect level of peanut to it. Highly recommend the brambleberry crisp and the salted peanut butter with chocolate flakes. The staff were very nice and the line moved along pretty quickly. Small space so not the best to dine inside with a big group, but you can definitely find a seat if there's just two of you (maybe not a table though!)

My new favorite ice cream. Wow! The Salted Peanut Butter (with chocolate flecks) was absolutely amazing. I also had the one that is something about biscuits and peach jam, and that was also super good. I don't know what took me so long to try this place, but now I totally understand why there is often a line out the door! And in addition to incredible ice cream, the waffle cones are also excellent. If you just get ice cream in a bowl they'll put a couple pieces of waffle cone on it. But next time I'm getting the waffle cone bowl so I'll have even more waffle cone to enjoy! The ice cream is so rich and creamy, and so tasty. And they have a lot of unique and creative flavors. If you like ice cream (and really, who doesn't?) you must try Jeni's. I'm confident it will become your new favorite place for ice cream too!

Ridiculously expensive for what you get. Decided to drop in and get a scoop of cream on a small waffle cone. I went to post and wasn't paying attention, and I wound up with the wrong larger wake cone with like 2.5 scoops of ice cream for over $8.00!!! Not sure what happened there. I didn't bother to correct it, but o a just floored by the expense. It was good, yes...but it's still just ice cream. I'm not hurting for money, thankfully...but really??

Very Unique flavors. Like everyone said it's super creamy and very flavorful. It's on the pricey side tho. I like the COVID precaution where they only take a group per turn. 4/5 Rainbow frozen yogurt (I think something colorful) For me I didn't like the oddness of it but my kid did and that's all that matters. It was a tarty fruity creamy kind. 5/5 Butter or brown brittle something lol Tasted like a buttered pecan without the pecans. We loved it!! So tasty! 5/5 vanilla Solid vanilla. It was good but usually we don't dislike vanilla unless it's really bad. 4/5 pineapple It was a good tart. It was sweet tarty and creamy. Sorry I'm bad with names! Only wished they had q bit more flavors but it was all still good.

I love Jeni's! And I'm startled so see I've never reviewed them as we stop in frequently at locations all over town. Here's what I love: Friendly helpful staff! You want to try a flavor, no problem! (didn't we miss that during the last couple of years? but things are back to normal). Great flavors and always a few new things rotating through the menu. I like trying to the new additions! Even when they sometimes are not something I want an entire serving of(for example, the Everything Bagel - it was definitely what you expect from an everything bagel, including not very sweet, so just not for me). But the Biscuit with Peach Jam was spot on! You can usually expect to see a line, especially on weekends when folks are out and about but don't let that discourage you. The friendly, helpful AND efficient staff (see above) keeps things moving. You may need the wait time to evaluate the menu anyway! A great finish to any outing and the sole destination!

I'm the biggest fan of ice cream out there! Doesn't matter the flavor - I'll try anything. Walked into Jeni's and was welcomed by a huge board ton a ton of unique flavors behind the ice cream case. There were flavors I've never heard of before - things like peanut butter and jelly, sweet potato with marshmallow, goat cheese and cherries. I had a fun time sampling their ice cream flavors and didn't find one that I didn't enjoy! My friends and I decided to split the flight of ice cream ($19 for 10 pre-set flavors). We were a little disappointed that we couldn't choose the flavors in the flight but it was understandable. The choice for the flavors of ice cream were great in my opinion - very different flavors for a well rounded experience. I shared this flight with two other people and we managed to finish it, all leaving with a very full stomach. Great flavors - I would definitely come again!

Always a special treat when I visit the Hillsboro area. Super clean location. Always friendly service. Tried wedding cake today. Very flavorful. Love the Wilber's lavender and darkest chocolate. Such a great selection of flavors. They use compostable water but I kinda doubt it gets composted. But nice try.

It was my sons birthday and he wanted ice cream. We just had lunch at Rock and Roll Sushi so we stopped in. The ice cream was amazing each flavor had its unique freshness to them. I was not disappointed in Jeni's and it did live up to all the good things I've heard. Even the waffle cones were good!!! Good job team Jeni!!!

You can't go wrong with any of the flavors here. If you're a first time visitor, I highly recommend getting the Brambleberry Crisp, one of their most popular flavors. The waffle cones here are made perfectly as well

SUMMARY. Jeni's ice cream is my personal favorite, so I always like checking out the various locations. This one is on the main drag in Hillsboro Village, about three blocks off Vanderbilt's campus. While it offers the same great ice cream experience you can expect from any Jeni's, this location is always absolutely mobbed. As such, lines can be long, and tables non-existent. LOCATION. Hillsboro Village. This particular location is quite small and doesn't offer many tables. I've been here several times around 8pm and never once gotten a seat (even by myself). I usually eat while standing or get it to go. Again, this is due to its proximity to Vanderbilt, as it is walking distance for undergraduates without cars. QUALITY. The quality is the same as any Jeni's I've been to: INCREDIBLE. Their ice cream, in my opinion, is leaps and bounds better than any I can think of. My favorite flavor is Brambleberry Crisp. SERVICE. The service at this location is great. Again, it can be slow and crowded, but the actual service is top notch. Employees are very friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant experience. TAKEAWAYS. I come here often, as I like it's close proximity to campus (I am a graduate student). The quality of Jeni's ice cream is unbeatable, and the employees here are super nice! My only qualm is the mob scene, which usually precludes my being able to sit down while enjoying. Still, I find myself back here frequently, so I can't be that upset! Happily, Clayton Cohn

When my husband and I first arrived at this location, the line was wrapped around the building. We were very much deterred from waiting in the line. After making another stop and getting some drinks, we decided we still very much wanted ice cream and joined the line. We later found out it was a very small space inside so they are really only allowing 1-2 parties inside at a time which resulted in the long lines outside. I loved the trio sampler as it gave me the option to try a variety of flavors. The peach jam with biscuits was good but my favorite had to be the gooey butter cake. The ice cream was definitely worth the wait!

The coffee ice cream was the best I've ever had! AMAZING!! The guy who worked there was so helpful & picked the flavors for my ice cream & it was the perfect combination! They were super busy & he still took his time helping us.

Jenis ice cream one of my favorite places for ice cream. If your worried about covid social distancing. Don't worry they literally only allow one group inside and the line form outside the door. Dining area closed to go only. This location had the Original ice cream favorites.

If you haven't tried Jeni's yet, add it to your list- you're missing out! Worth the trip just for the wafting scent of fresh waffle cones when you open the door- yum! Delicious creamy ice cream and tons of unique flavors. Get adventurous and step outside your comfort zone! Some of their flavors rotate seasonally as well. Treat yo'self!

Cute and typical Nashville stop for ice cream. Not your typical ice cream shop. There are so many flavors to choose from and they're all so unique. You can choose from a not so typical strawberry to a wild frozen rosé. Even before walking I you smell the delicious and sweet waffle cones cooking. Yum. I had the rosé sorbet and fell in love. So light and refreshing.

Magically delicious!! I was going to take a photo of my cone of course, but the ice cream was so delicious I didn't even think about it until I was half way through! Anyway, if you're ever close by, you MUST stop in! You won't be disappointed! I had a scoop of frose (which was light like a sorbet, with a nice strawberry flavor), and a scoop of lemon (which was very lemony). The two together though, balanced SO well! It was like drinking a strawberry lemonade. The waffle cone was also made fresh. Without a doubt, I'll be back! As far as parking goes, you may get lucky and find something along the street, otherwise you may end up paying to park somewhere close by.
