"Jenki is like Marmite—people seem to really love it or really hate it. Us? We’re fans of this takeaway Covent Garden matcha bar. With latte flavours like yuzu and honey or cacao and mushrooms, it might sound a little gimmicky but what’s wrong with a little fun in your matcha? I had an excellent experience at this branch of JENKI Matcha. I tried the new iced strawberry and elderflower matcha latte, and it was fantastic. The matcha is bold and really shines through in the drink. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when I had questions, and my drink was made quickly.

Got 2 drink the vanilla sea salt and the strawberry elderflower. The drinks were syrupy sweet totally undrinkable (and yes we mixed them thoroughly before drinking) matcha is good quality. They were out of almost all milk options. Will not be going back as really disappointed after how much hype there is around this spot

LOOOOVEEEE the matcha here. If you like matcha, this is the SPOT! you can actually taste the matcha here unlike other matcha with truckloads of syrup. It’s so refreshing and delicious. I also always love the seasonal flavours and the great quality matcha. I’ve been having them almost every single day without fail! (The matcha is soooo green!!!)

i love jenki and keep coming back here. love how it’s not too sweet like other places. the price is not bad, wish it was lil cheaper but it’s london so can’t complain and all matcha places are pretty expensive. recommend going during weekdays as there’s usually crazy queue on weekends. my favourite is sea salt or chai matcha:))

It smells like matcha as you enter, very pleasant, but the staff didn’t add to the atmosphere, The worst matcha I’ve had… it tasted like I took a gulp of the Red Sea, definitely don’t get the Salted vanilla latte. My face: 😖 I will have to revisit for a classic matcha and will update the review correspondingly 🍵

Very busy but such a good matcha. They properly whisk it and weigh it out to make sure it’s done correctly. Extremely busy due to the popularity but honestly worth it and went quite quickly still. Staff very patient despite this and helpful when I asked which type to get from their interesting menu. Highly recommend their flavours of the month or the vanilla & sea salt.

This matcha hit the spot! I tried the rose + collagen iced matcha latte and it was so yummy. I like that there was a balanced flavor between the matcha and the rose. It was also super creamy and not too sweet which I enjoyed. Their menu is pretty straight to the point. The girls at the counter were whipping out matchas as fast as they could, but the shop was super crowded inside with people waiting to order or pick up their matchas so just something to keep in mind when you visit. Still 100% worth a visit though!

I went to Jenki yesterday for the first time and the lady that took my order was rude and spoke back to me with attitude after asking what milk I wanted in my matcha and it made me uncomfortable. The other lady that served me and my boyfriend drinks was super nice though although I don’t think I’d come back again , the matcha was alright but also very bitter. I got the strawberry elderflower and it was also really sweet for me.
