Austin Restaurant Closures: Austin Ale House, Jenna’s Asian Kitchen - Eater Austin

"Pan-Asian restaurant Jenna’s Asian Kitchen closed at 12300 Ranch Road 620 North sometime in mid-July, as confirmed by the restaurant. Original owners Min and Jenna Choe opened the restaurant in March 2015, featuring a menu that spanned Chinese, Korean, and general Asian fusion fare. They sold the restaurant in 2018 to new unnamed owners. Min and Jenna Choe still operate Chinese-American food delivery company Tso." - Nadia Chaudhury

Awesome Asian restaurant and fast service. Variety of see food and other items. Taste of gravy of any item you order will force you to lick your fingers. Duck, fish and see food is really great. Be watchful what you order here because quantity is always more than you expect. I did not realize every plate we order was for 2-3 person so we ended up packing the ordered food and bringing home back.

The happy hour prices are good for drinks. Food wasn’t all that, I was disappointed because I expected the food to taste better. The bang bang bang shrimp was dry and there wasn’t enough sauce on it to eat the rice. The dolsot bibimbap tasted ok, just ok. The Korean chicken pops is amazing. Good ambience.

I'm just sad I waited so long to try this place out!!! Don't be afraid to ask if they can make something not on the menu! Kids meal was generous, portions on adult entrees we're just right. We ordered potstickers and they were fresh and soooo good!! Definitely coming back :)

The decor is nice and welcoming. The crab rangoons and potstickers were very good. Korean spicy bulgogi was very flavorful. Kimchi fried rice was good, but it needed a little more flavor.

I went here for happy hour at around 3 and was greeted with great service from my server McKenna. I was also given the opportunity to try the specials menu that will be available on Tuesday 6/25!! Love it when restaurants do stuff like this! I hear they closed, after the employees had enough of the new owners not paying their employees.

Was here on 2/9/2018. Was not very busy and were seated after a few minutes of waiting when the to go orders were taken care of. We got seated and our wait staff was Celeste-very friendly and helpful. Ordered Korean Chicken Pops which came out quickly and was good. Hot and Sour soup was just sour and warm...have had better soups at buffet chinese restaurants. My son ordered General Tso Chicken which we liked and rated a 4/5. I ordered a beef bulgogi which was not comparable to the bulgogi I have had before at authentic Korean restaurants. We did a take out -chicken and veg fried rice which was good. All in all, expensive but not the 5 star experience others have had. Will think twice before going back. Food servings are large and expensive compared to most asian food places.

Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The apps we're really good. Got the spring rolls and baby octopus. Octo was amazing! I had the salt and pepper shrimp for lunch, also great. My only suggestion is to go with a firm tofu in the miso soup. Should mention the drinks were good as well, our table had a mojito and an old fashioned, both were good. Service was also great. Thanks Laura! I will be back.

Amazing food. really nice decor. Got the bang bang bang shrimp, the beef bulgogi, the drunken noodles and hot & sour soup. Each dish had its unique flavor and was well cooked. Excellent value for money.
