We were told to check out Jenna’s. Fresh made quality food. We will be coming back very soon. The Thanksgiving, fresh turkey sandwich is unlikely to be topped anywhere. The toasted bread, the stuffing, the turkey, And I opted for waffle fries, well done, amazing. My wife loved the grilled chicken garden salad and the peanut butter ice cream sundae was spectacular. Jenna’s you guys are the real deal. Thank you for such a great job.

Top tier. The ice cream is good but the food has absolutely no business being as good as it is. Great stop for seafood, burgers are really good, best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Takes a bit so it's a good idea to call ahead if you're on the move. If fish tacos are a special that day, get them.

Great food, great service, fast and delicious. Portions are generous! Loved the ice cream sandwich, burgers, and clam strips. The fries are wonderful. Love that they have canopies over the seating area. We love eating outside at restaurants, whether it is a pandemic or not, but shade it always a good thing. Tables were clean, and it is obvious they take pride in keeping the place in great shape. Will definitely come back the next time we're in Weymouth.

2nd time at Jenna's! Didn't disappoint. I got the turkey club with waffle fries. The bacon was super crispy and the fries were seasoned perfectly. My friend got a burger that was also delicious. Then we shared and oreo frosty, soooo good! Service is fast, reasonably priced--a little on the higher side but they use high quality ingredients and meat. It was a super hot day, but still felt a breeze under the umbrellaed picnic tables!

Nice place to sit outside and eat. They have fences so the kids can run around a little and I don't have to worry about cars. The food was good I ordered a BLT and the bacon they used was thick cut. Very tasty. I did think the prices were a little steep. The kids meal was 9$ and the hot dog was normal sized. Also the ice cream was more expensive for what I got, compared to other places. I ordered a kids meal, a BLT with a side of sweet potato fries, and a medium twist cone. Total of meal: $35.

What a hidden gem! Stumbled on this drive in and had the hardest time deciding on the dining menu and sweet treats. Well covered picnic tables was the perfect family friendly outing for our young family. Great menu with something for everyone - I wish our town had a place like this! Highly recommend the kids meals and the turkey club - tasted great and generous portions. Next time I’ll try to leave room for ice cream!

Jenna's is exactly what you're expecting to find at a drive in restaurant: informal but tasty foods, wide variety, and ice cream!! So glad I found it on my travels. Great chocolate frappe!

Went on a whim and loved the food. Some of the best fried clams I had when we were visiting home. Would definitely come back just to get the clams and onion rings.

Hidden gem. Our daughter found it online and wanted to go because we could take our puppy. When we first looked at the menu we didn't think much of it but, wow, the food was great from top to bottom!

Jenna's has been a summer family favorite of ours for the past few years! The fried clam strips are some of the best we've had with very reasonable portions, and we love that they serve Gifford's ice cream (S'mores is a favorite!). The service staff is always kind and efficient, and the outdoor (only) seating offers both sun and shade options. I only wish there were a restroom to use on-site!

Love the turkey gobbler on wheat. Sandwich is so good I can have as two meals. Recently tried their cheeseburger and it was delicious.

I've been eating way too much ice cream this summer because I forget to drink enough water. I write that to write this-- Jenna's has the best ice cream that I've had hands down all summer!! Disclaimer: I'm super basic so I mostly only eat vanilla, so my bad to anyone with adventurous taste buds. The exterior is 1950's Drive In inspired and there's plenty of outdoor seating with shade. There is no indoor dining. Parking is easy in back. It's a fun little spot for families that you can easily drive by without noticing. Definitely stop by for some ice cream before summer is over!

After passing by this ice cream shack many times, we decided to try this place for lunch. We got the whole belly fried clams and scallop po'boy and the raspberry lime rickey. The portions were very generous. The fried clams came with both onion rings, and french fries and cole slaw. Everything was very crispy. I thought the fries were a little bit oily though. The scallop po'boy also came with both onion rings and french fries and was very tasty. The sandwich came with lettuce, tomatoes, and fried pickles on top with a sriracha aioli sauce. The raspberry lime rickey was also good but a tad sweet. It was made with ginger ale, raspberry syrup and some lime. Hope to try other things next time..

Clam strips and onion rings were delicious. Old time atmosphere and plenty of parking. Jenna's did not disappoint!

All I can say is awesome! From the food the friendly staff it was a great experience! The best BLT on marble rye ever! Fresh ingredients ! Chilled Slaw , crispy bacon all food temperatures right on! Excellent to go packaging, no flinsy stuff here and the brown carry bag sealed. Excellent outdoor space! Excellent Ice Cream I will be returning soon and to make it a 10 star the young woman at the window went out of her way to make sure my order was correct and was so pleasant throughout! Thank you for a great experience !

Their ice cream is amazing. Loved the picnic benches and tables with chairs and umbrellas. Great family atmosphere. I haven't tried their extensive food menu, but I'll be back.

ordered a mint chocolate chip ice cream and received a mint cookie ice cream. when i brought it back i was told thats all they had, i explained to them that i would have got something else if this was explained to me that they didn't have mint chocolate chip. they would not offer a replacement after giving me something that i did not order. i told them that i am a long term customer and they should exchange it, all's i got was a sorry even after i said i will never come back there again, i had just spent over 50$ on an order and still nothing! i will be honest and say that although expensive the food and icecream is very good. i am just suprised by their poor response

Good little spot for some good grub. The chicken sandwich is bomb, as are the tots. Great customer service always. A little on the pricey side but still worth it.

OMG the buffalo clucker sandwich!! I've had many chicken sandwiches from a lot of different places and this one is hands down, one of the best! The chicken is so tender and flavorful, it just melts in your mouth. The buffalo flavor is on point, just spicy enough without being over or under-whelming. Also, the sandwich is HUGE. If you are a buffalo chicken connoisseur like myself, this is a must-try!

All the fried things! And Gifford's ice cream. Fried things and Gifford's. Clam strip basket runs $10 and is fully loaded - light fry with decent salting atop a mountain of crinkle-cut spuds. Wife thought she was being a badass and ordered chicken fingers and an a la carte side of fries, which ended up being three meals worth. Portions are not a problem here. Sandwiches, too. A long list of midday specialties, in addition to fried things, and Gifford's ice cream. Fried chicken meals made to order ("expect 20 minutes - it's worth the wait!" says the sign), and all the tables are outdoors. Half hold umbrellas though, so don't let a little light rain stop you from feasting. As if I didn't already get great vibes from this place, the fonts on the sign totally blend The Flintstones with drive-up diner, so bonus points, boyeee.

Stopped by here today because I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now but it's only open 6 months out of the year. So happy I got to try this place the customer service was amazing. Even though they only have outdoor dinning they were very well set up for cleanliness due to COVID. I ordered their burger with fries and a lime Ricky. The burger was wet juicy and flavorful. It was my first time having a lime Ricky, and I loved it and so did my son. If your looking for a great place, and experience to dine at I would suggest you try this hidden gem of Weymouth!

Great food! We have nothing bad to say about the food here. We got it delivered so we don't know what it looks like inside. We would recommend eating here!

What an unexpected treat, fantastic fish tacos for lunch, with fries & homemade onion rings. Large portions, friendly service, outdoor tables amongst a well managed garden.

We were looking forward to trying this place based on a recommendation from a friend. Contemplated getting the fried chicken as that was what the recommendation was based on.. Decided to get the clam strips. BIG Mistake! They were virtually inedible! Like chewing old rubber bands. I was reassured they were fresh and local when I ordered, as I was paying "market price" of $18. There's no way these were fresh! Hard pass on returning! Nothing should be sold at "market price" that clearly came out of a freezer!

We ordered two cups of ice cream and a diet soda and the bill was just shy of $18!!! I ordered "the smallest" cup of ice cream for my 6 year old granddaughter (the server saw how tiny she is) and still gave and charged me a small, when I felt she should've given and charged me for a "kiddie. " I got a large after being told that they only have "small and large. ". My large was only a smidge larger than my granddaughter's small. A small, a large and a soda.......and they also charged an "administration fee' of .65. Tax I understand, but an "administration fee?????". When I inquired, I was given a receipt and told to "move along by what appeared to be a manager of some sort. Rip off..... I'd stay away!!!

We had their food for the first time last night and it was delicious. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and my sister had the Stella sandwich. Both were very generous and fresh. Fresh turkey in the sandwich, not deli turkey. Delicious onion rings. I would definitely recommend. I'm going back next week to try the California BLT.

While Jennas has good food, sadly the quality of the food does not line up with its prices. Jennas does make great fried chicken and as well as ice cream products like a milkshake. The staff the majority of the time can be very dismissive, but this may be to their young age.

A true hidden gem best fried seafood on the south shore great outdoor atmosphere totally worth making a trip here on a nice summer day

My favorite Ice Cream place!! Not only is the ice cream good but the food is amazing!! We love it here! They always give my dog a little cup of ice cream too! Wide variety of ice cream and food choices here and it's ALL good! The staff there is great! We always get sad when they close for the season!

It is hard to find good Frozen yogurt so Jenna's is my go to and the ice cream sandwiches are absolutely amazing!!! Good service and friendly staff too ;)

Stumbled upon this fine establishment, and to my surprise the food and customer service where both extravagant and on point. I had the fried chicken dinner and the chicken was crunchy,flavorful and mouth watering. If ever in the are I suggest you try it it out, trust you won't regret.

Excellent food and service on Sunday!! Our family of 5 all LOVED the food! They actually forgot one meal and when I went back for it, the staff was so apologetic! They tossed in a few ice cream sandwiches for the inconvenience. Very classy! And my kids loved the ice cream sandwiches so much they will now be a part if our future orders!! Best burger on the south shore!!

I played with dolls as a kid. Really cool dolls. I had Steve Austin, the six million dollar man doll that had both, a bionic eye and grip. I had Evil Knievel and his Stunt Cycle that was powered by hand cranking his power launcher. I also had G I Joe with the Kung Fu Grip. One winter I lost him while playing in the snow in my back yard. I wasn't overly concerned. After all he's G I Joe right. Spring came and of course he returned. Today I had lunch at Jenna's Drive In, in Weymouth. I've lived in Weymouth for 19 years and haven't tried it so why not. I got the four piece Fried Chicken and Crinkle Fries. It was spectacular. The pieces crunched under my fingers as I tore off piece after delectable piece. Not a hint of that old oil smell and as juicy as I've ever had. Who knew I'd find such a treasure in my own back yard. I was almost as happy as when G I Joe came home.

I drove to this sweet little place with Baloney, my cat, in the car after visiting the vet and I didn't want to leave him in my Honda uncomfortable and without company. He's anxious and that just wouldn't do well for his anxiety. Scared that I wouldn't get a chance to eat before heading home to my plush couch and my comfy pillows... but alas! I have found an establishment! I pulled up and rolled the windows down a smidgen so I could go and order my food. I ordered a nice fried clam strip meal and it was delicious. It was warm and crispy and enjoyable. I went back to my Honda and ate with my cat. I do have to say that it took about 15 minutes to receive my order so I was worried Baloney might get a little distressed but it was still worth another trip. Oh how lovely the french fries were though! Perfect for a quick takeout grab or sitting in the outdoor picnic tables. It appeared the picnic tables were being used by happy customers I spotted a bunch of little cherubs running amuck and having fun.

We stopped by for lunch here on the weekend. It's a drive-in with walk up order window. There are plenty of picnic tables with umbrellas to sit at in front of the place. The girls working the order window were very nice and helpful. There is a board with all the daily specials up front and then a menu wall. They also have soft serve and ice cream here. We got the soft serve and found it too icy and not creamy enough. Huge large cone for $4! Great place for families. Outside portapotty available. Plenty of parking in private lot. Good fresh food and prices.

We stopped at Jenna's Drive In because I wanted to try their fish tacos, but I had trouble with the idea of paying $9.95 for two fried fish tacos with nothing on the side at an ice cream stand. We got ice cream instead. They get theirs from Gifford's. After tasting a few of their flavors, we ended up with cookies n cream and a scary red raspberry sorbet. They actually worked surprisingly well together with the dairy goodness of the ice cream adding a nice creaminess to the brightly flavored sorbet. A small cup held two scoops for $2.90 ($3.13 after tax). They accept credit cards, just not American Express, and have a $10 minimum for both debit and credit cards.

I am a frequent flyer here, as I was before Jenna Perrette sold the place last year. The new ownership kept much of the same menu, but except for the seafood, the food is just not as good. It is not bad, but in comparison, it just misses the depth of flavor and nuances of it's previous owners skills. The Stella Melt, which has turkey and avocado on it, is all sauce and you can't taste much else. The Pastrami Rachel, which is pastrami, swiss, Thousand Island and slaw, is literally swimming in Thousand Island dressing. Taken apart, the elements of each sandwich are good, but together, they are a big mess. The service is lackluster, and at times, it feels like the phone is left off the hook, as it left with a busy signal for 5 minutes or more. Thankfully the seafood and chicken are still top notch!

OMG is all I can say! I have never had such a fabulous chicken sandwich before. Literally big enough for two. And the fries were out of this world. I'll definitely be back and will bring the family.

Figured we'd give Jenna's Drive-In a try. Their menu seemed to have a lot of nice options. I called in an order of two fish & chip dinners, fried chicken dinner , pastrami sandwich and orders of fried pickles and onion rings for my family for lunch. Asked for extra tartar sauce too. The menu states chicken is breaded and made to order as is the fish. I asked girl how long and she said 40 mins. Got there in 30 mins so I figured I'd have to wait but order it was ready ... let me say the chicken and fish dish did not look like it was made to order or breaded fresh. The fish was dry and the chicken looked like frozen chicken. The fries, onion rings and fried pickles were cold! Remember I asked for EXTRA tartar sauce and received NONE! Spent over $70 for this mess! Next time you drive by Jenna's Drive-In ... keep driving!

The food here is outstanding. What makes it even more outstanding is that it's a small take out joint. Almost every negative review on yelp and there isn't many, is for something not food related. Like the wait was longer than they liked or the food was a little pricey. Give me a break. The place is excellent, a hidden gem. Every restaurant has trouble staffing these days. Be patient. It's more than worth the wait. If someone has a complaint I noticed the owner or manager responds herself on Yelp. I think it makes some people feel good to complain. Treat yourself, go there

The scallop po-boy special was delicious! The scallops were perfectly fried and tasted fresh and the fried pickles on the sandwich were delicious as well. My partner had the clam strip dinner which was huge and cooked perfectly as well! We were too full for ice cream but that looked delicious as well. Tables well spaced with a nice sunshade/umbrellas to keep cool and dry.

We got the clam basket and a lobster roll -- both were sooo good! It was very fresh and tasted like summer. The patio is so cute too, lots of shaded picnic tables. Definitely going back to this place!!

Jenna's had a bit of a rough patch during the pandemic (understandably!) and I stopped going. This year they have exceeded all expectations and I am so happy! The food is great and the customer service is stellar. Some good choices are the Frankie BBQ Burger (Swiss cheese, BBQ sauce, Applewood smoked bacon & homemade onion rings); the Stella Melt (Roasted turkey, cheddar cheese, avocado, red onion & homemade roasted red pepper mayo grilled on marble rye) and the Gobbler (Roasted turkey, homemade cran-apple stuffing, cranberry sauce & mayo on toasted country bread). The turkey is cooked and carved on-site, none of that pressed deli crap. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I were so excited to try this local restaurant but we were disappointed. It took over 10 minutes before it was our turn to order and there was only one party in front of us. Then when I started my order, I asked the girl at the register if I could substitute the regular fries for the loaded fries. She said she'd take off the fries that comes with my order and replace it with a side order of the loaded fries. Sounds right, right? Wrong. When I saw my receipt, I noticed she cancelled the fries from my plate and put in the full priced, full order of loaded fries. And my plate was full price. Why would I cancel fries from my plate if I'm paying full price? When I went back up to talk to her and explain it again, she said she'd have to ask. She came back and said she'd put the fries back on my order. Whatever, I decided not to waste my time on asking anymore. When we got our order, they forgot the coleslaw that comes with our burger order. Another 5 minutes spent waiting at the window to ask for it. She also didn't give us a fork for it? The food itself wasn't bad. Lots of oil though, each bite of fry was all oil, so I felt super uncomfortable after eating. Be warned - they charge you $0.50 to eat there. Not a huge deal but good to know before going.

Thank you so much for my moms lobster roll for Mother's Day! The staff was so nice and the food (fried clams and lobster roll) were just delicious! It was our first time but definitely will be back

I got some great Fried Chicken here, 4 large pieces of breast, thigh, wing, and a drum. Tasted outstanding, not like the garbage you'd get at a KFC. And the price was great as well. If you like fried chicken this is a place worth stopping by.

I had the gobbler and it was great! Came on thick wheat bread and made with real turkey not deli turkey slices! Thick layer of stuffing and real cranberry sauce. I had a black and white shake as well which I couldn't drink fast enough! My friend had the clicker and it had a piece of chicken so big it extended at least an inch on each side of the roll!

We just got some whole belly fried clams and clam strips, they were nice and fresh and a good size. We also got a chocolate milkshake and it was good but it had ice chunks in it, so it wasn't great. However, they have a dog sized ice cream dishes; it's vanilla soft serve with a Milk Bone biscuit. Our dogs loved them. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a perfect place for a sunny day because they have picnic tables outside for eating.

Had The Stella (a delicious sandwich) AND the perfect clam strips on Friday. So so good.

Was looking forward to going there as we just moved in the area. Waited for 20 minutes for three people in front of us to get ice cream then we were told it was a 40 minute wait for food! What on earth!! Maybe some day we will try again but not any time soon.

It's good,but it's fried food. People seem to be so excited about this place, but it's primarily fried food. It's nice to have a new option in the summer and it's good to sit outside. My date ordered fried fish sandwich and I got the turkey sandwich, both came with fries and got the job done. Bread was actually pretty thick on the turkey sandwich which I liked. Worth coming back to try the ice cream!

This place is remarkable - affordable prices for huge portions of some of the best seafood I've ever had. It's a little drive-up that looks like it only serves ice cream, but it has a full diner menu. I ate here a few times over a few days. This is one of those places that just "do what they do", because it's already been perfected through years of trial and error, and knowledge of local food tradition. The whole belly clam roll with onion rings and fries is a delicacy that would cost over $30 in most cities, here you can get it for under $14. And since it's fresh off the shore it's better than any restaurant's rendition. Their seafood menu changes daily based upon the catch, and they also have classic drive-through foods from burgers to BLTs. Highest recommendation, and worth driving well out of your way for some of their clam strips.
