Jennie did a mother/daughter makeup lesson for my 15 year old and I. She was so patient and informative. She took her time to find out how we usually do our makeup and listened to what we were interested in learning. My daughter and I loved our makeup so much! Jennie used makeup that we could purchase ourselves that didn't break the bank and taught us exactly what to do for a regular day and a night out. She wrote everything down for us and took pictures so that we could remember exactly what to do. It was a great bonding experience for my teenager and I AND we learned so much! Jennie's studio is beautiful and relaxing. Everything was personal and she was so attentive and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Jennie for any makeup needs!

Top notch experience! Our group of 6 girls spent the day getting ready for a wedding at the Beauty Inn with Jennie and had the best time. Jennie did our hair and Make-up and it was exactly want we wanted! The lighting for photos in her studio was absolutely perfect!! We could have fit another 10 girls with plenty of space. Highly recommend Jennie for hair and makeup or as a rental space to get ready on Newport with your own stylist. 10/10!

I’ve had my hair cut several times with Jennie. The salon is beautiful and is in such a convenient spot right downtown. Jennie is so kind and does an amazing cut every time. She was even able to give me suggestions for some scalp problems I was having recently. The overall experience is great every time- highly recommend.

Sweetest, most intelligent hairdresser ever! This woman knows what she's talking about, understands what your asking, and knows how to execute. Absolutely love my highlights! I have dark brown curly hair and she knew just how to apply them to make it look more naturally blended. She listened and asked questions when I showed pictures of ideas, likes and dislikes. But she also recommended colors and options to accent my features. Lovely woman, wish I was a local. She'd be my hairdresser for life♥ Her services are worth every penny!

I made my first appointment with Jennie in June, 2025, while passing through Annapolis on our way to Maine for the summer on our boat. She was amazing and I fell in love with the color. So much so, that I pleaded her to take me in again when I was passing back through Annapolis heading south for the season. She’s the best!!! This time she added a few highlights, toned the color to perfection and gave me the best blow-out. (Plus a bit of eyebrow tips). I love it! Now I’m thinking I might have to fly from Florida just to get my hair done. She’s so lovely and does a great job!

Jennie Kay is beyond phenomenal! She is truly talented at her craft! Not only is she the very BEST makeup artist/hairstylist, she is the nicest and kindest person! She knows how to apply makeup without it being overdone, giving a more natural look and also using the best products. Jenny is an artist! She knows how to make anyone look amazing and every time I get my hair done by her I get compliments on compliments for weeks after. She has a way of cutting your hair that makes you feel great about yourself. Definitely have a fun night out planned after you go see her! I wanted to love this salon after hearing rave reviews, but I didn't have great luck here. I had Ashley, she was very nice, friendly, seemed to be listening to what I wanted, but it turns out, she wasn't. I wanted face framing highlights, I already had natural streaks of blonde in my light chestnut hair, which I loved I wanted them filled in around my face and wanted her to "blend" my highlights. Well, I don't know if she was rushed for time or needs more experience with blonde color highlights, but when I was finished.,$280.00 later, I was not happy. My hair looked darker, my highlights were now gone, and my hair had a reddish tint to it. 3 hours wasted, not to mention I hated my new color, and regretted having it done. It looked better before I went in. That was a frustrating experience. I won't be back.

I'm the type that never knows for sure what to ask for in a haircut or hair color. And I am happy I trusted Jennie with it. She listens to what I want, explains how my wish can be modified for my hair type and lifestyle, and picks the processes and shades just right. My hair situation has been so great, even my husband notices and complements it every time!!

I booked hair and makeup for my elopement and they did such a nice job. My makeup and hair came out exactly as I wanted, and my suggestions were catered to. They had a room for me to change into my dress and they were all so happy and excited for my day. My fiancé even came upstairs and they took our picture and brought us champagne. I will book them again if I ever have an event in the area!

Jennie Kay is hands down the best stylist on the island! She is incredibly passionate about her job, always takes the time to listen to your vision and follows suit. She can do everything from balayage to updo's to make up to cuts to even life advice! She also provides visuals (from her social media, @jenniekaybeauty) if you're not sure what direction you want to go with. She's all about the natural look but will go bold if you want. Her salon is super relaxing with beautiful natural light peaking through the tall windows, good tunes in the background, water/coffee available, and plenty of people watching along Thames when you're waiting for foils/balayage to finish. Also, her team is a group of upbeat and talented women who love what they do. Good vibes all around at Jennie Kay Beauty! The best way to book an appointment is through the "MINDBODY" app... make sure you plan ahead, she's always booked a month or more out! Jennie is professional, passionate, funny and genuine. She loves her job and is proud of her salon and truly enjoys making her clients walk out feeling confident and beautiful. She's not only my hair stylist but has become a good friend and I'm so thankful to have her in my life!

UPDATE PER JENNIE'S COMMENT ON SOPHIA'S REVIEW: - We did express that we were dissatisfied with the make up (see below for more detail) and the make up artist (1) ignored us, (2) insulted us, and then (3) refused to update our make up how we requested. There was nothing left to do, but to leave the salon politely (how I would want to be treated). - Salon staff are, at the end of the day, in a social business and this staff clearly does not pic up on verbal or social cues. - It's clear that Jennie Kay's business is reliant on contractual obligation and not client satisfaction. - LESSON 1: get a trial done before booking as Jennie Kay wants your deposit more than it wants your business! Better yet, go to a salon where the owner and staff treat you with respect and (better yet) give you make-up and hair that makes you feel beautiful - I'm not interested in continuing to fight with Jennie over Yelp as I have cordially emailed her repeatedly, but she won't reply except in this public forum (cool!). FULL REVIEW: I would never recommend this salon to anyone as (1) the make up and hair is bad and (2) they were repeatedly rude to myself and my sister. If you want to feel comfortable during your service or look pretty when leaving, DO NOT GO TO JENNIE KAY. They don't have a handle on fashion-forward looks and can only do trashy make-up. SUMMARY: -We went to Jennie Kay for a trial for myself (MOH) and my sister (Bride) for the wedding. - The make-up was horrible and the make up artist made us feel stupid for asking to change it. He refused to make the changes we wanted and sometimes simply ignored the fact that we were talking to him. - The make-up artists didn't know what colors he had used on us, even though the whole point of the trial was to understand what colors to bring on-site for the day of the wedding. - The hair stylist put a scrunchie around my bun (remember this is for a wedding look) even though I requested that she didn't because it was a scrunchie... I was shocked that I even had to explain why. Once she removed the scrunchie my entire bun looked a mess (which I paid $100 for) and I had to walk around for the rest of the day with since it was pinned and hairsprayed into my head. I was so embarrassed that she didn't make it an obvious next step to make me feel comfortable. - My sister (bride) hair was fine, but the ponytail fell to the bottom of her neck within an hour - not wedding-ready. - Even though we had already contracted almost $2,000 with them, they tried to forcefully upsell us on a $15 lipstick and velvet scrunchie (?) during our trial that cost $400 on its own! We felt taken aback by that push for even more money out of us. - The owner and stylists were "surprised" we didn't like the services even though we expressed our feedback and it fell on deaf ears. We decided not to keep talking since it was being ignored and left politely. I get the sense that the owner wishes we threw a fit instead of sending a friendly email with feedback and given a respectful call. That is simply not how we operate. -When asking for our deposit back due to the horrible service, the owner yelled at me on the phone even though I was committed to having a respectful and productive conversation. She accused me of "threatening" her and "blackmailing" her when I told her I wouldn't be able to recommend her services after the expereince I've had with her.

DO NOTE GO TO THIS SALON! Jennie Kay is an unprofessional and rude salon which cannot deliver stylish makeup or hair. They are not open to feedback and treat their clients poorly. I've never liked the hair or make up produced by this salon.

I'm very disappointed in this salon. I booked an appointment online for a Sunday. Thought it was a little weird, but everyone's schedules are different these days. Received email confirmation upon booking, email reminder a week before, was sent COVID paperwork to bring in. Show up Sunday, salon is closed. Called several times that day and over the next few days and left messages. Got no call back, no return call from anyone. This appointment was a week before my wedding. I made it clear via my phone messages that it was really important to me, and they didn't care. Don't rely on them!

Attention all curly girls!! Jessica did a fantastic job cutting my super curly hair. I've always had trouble finding a salon that knows what to do with spirally hair with lots of volume. Jess nailed it. She did a first cut with my hair dry so she could see how it would fall when styled. After, she did a wet cut to make sure all the ends looked good. This is the kind of detail and attention curly hair needs! I also have taken a makeup class at the salon, and all the ladies are so knowledgeable. They'll tell you honestly what works and what doesn't! The salon itself is beautiful, and I'd highly recommend it!

i know i made the correct choice in having jennie kay as my bridal hair stylist. my consult with her was very professional. i am definately the type of person to just "go with the flow" when it comes to making decisions, but jennie made sure that i didn't think only, "this looks nice...", but that i had that, "i love it!" moment. we decided on two styles for my wedding day. the first one would be an updo for the ceremony and the second would be a half-up look for the reception. she created styles that were simple to convert, but very elegant and classy. if she lived in the northern california, i'd visit her more often, but if you are a bride out on the east coast i'd definately contact her for a consult. she's worth each and every penny!

Jennie was the makeup artist for a little photoshoot I did for a friend. She made me look & feel beeeeautiful and she is so sweet! If I am ever in the need of a professional makeup artist, I would pick her in a heartbeat. Of course, I'm a bum so I would never need one but still...

Amazing!!! I was beyond excited when I found out there was finally going to be blow dry bar on in Newport, RI, I couldn't wait to try Jennie Kay Beauty. I recently had a blow out for a wedding I was attending. The entire experience was amazing. Let's start with the ambience! The salon is so chic and like nothing I have ever seen on the island. The all white and gold decor is perfection, I felt like I was in a Salon in New York City. Stephanie my stylist was so diligent from start to finish; from consulting me on what I was looking for to carefully blowing out and setting my hair to ensure it lasted all night. I had very specific requests (I'll admit I'm picky) and she nailed it! I was even more pleased when the owner Jennie came over herself to see if I was happy with my service. You could tell she really wanted me to leave looking and feeling amazing. Needless to say I did :) I honesty can't wait until I have another event so I can go get another blowout here!

This review is solely from the perspective of the boyfriend/husband variety. My wife, Kalin has big beautiful hair-think 1985 white snake videos- but has always had trouble finding someone to trust it with. For years, she bounced around dozens of salons with the same disappointing results. It wasn't until she started going to Jennie Kay that she found someone she could trust and rely on, and I have to say I see a huge difference. For one, she actually looks forward to the appointments, for both the great service and the conversation (I appreciate the importance of having a good rapport with your hair dresser, I assume they don't talk football and cars like I would, but it's nice to pass the time with someone you enjoy conversing with. Equally as important, she looks great and feels more confident every time she leaves. Hey, I get my haircut by a bald guy for 20 bucks so what do I know, but at the end of the day if you leave the salon feeling better and happier about yourself, that's priceless. Guys, do yourself a favor, book an appointment, buy a gift certificate, drive her there, call an Uber, whatever you have to do, you'll thank me later :)

I was not satisfied with my experience at Jennie Kay Beauty and did not proceed with booking them for my wedding. I put down a deposit with Jennie Kay almost immediately after booking my wedding venue, as they had come highly recommended. Certainly, from afar they do have an attractive and up-to-date online presence and their salon is picturesque. I was ultimately disappointed with my wedding hair and make up trial. While the women who performed it were very sweet and attentive, I was not pleased with the overall look. The makeup looked and felt to me a bit cakey. The hair was not what I wanted. I did give feedback directly and the artists did take time to try and adjust, although I still was not satisfied. Where things went off the rails for me: 1) not even sure about the overall look, I was given a hard-sell to purchase lipstick that same day, on the explanation that it may no longer be available on the day of my wedding 2) When I checked out for the trial, I was charged by the hour, rather than the flat-flee that had been communicated to me. 3) I explained to the salon that I fully understood and agreed that stylists should be compensated for their time; however that this should have been communicated to me, whether in advance, or when we had maxed out the time allotted and were heading into overtime. 4) In conversation with the salon, the blame was shifted on to me as a client - that I had arrived to the appointment unprepared, that the stylists had gone out of there way to accommodate my appointment on the weekend. Ultimately, after several conversations with the salon, they refunded me and let me out of our contract. Through word of mouth recommendation, I found an excellent hair and makeup team, with whom I could not have been happier.

I loved working with Jennie Kay Beauty for my wedding in Newport. Melissa helped coordinate the trial appointments, contract, and other details. She was always so friendly and quick to reply, even during the peak of their busy wedding season. She made the logistics easy and efficient, which was so helpful since I was planning the wedding from a distance. Jess P did my makeup and was an absolute joy to work with. She is so sweet and as soon as I met her at my makeup trial I knew her energy would help keep me calm and confident on the morning of wedding day. She really listened to what I wanted and was great in helping me achieve a super natural look. I wasn't used to getting my makeup professionally done, but she made me feel so comfortable and I LOVED the finished product not just on me, but on my mom and bridesmaids too! Emily B did my hair and was basically a magician. It took me a while to decide what I wanted (I actually had two trials) plus I have fine hair, but in the end she helped me a achieve the look of my dreams with voluminous, flowing, beachy, textured waves. She is so talented and SO down to earth and just has the best vibes. She was the perfect person to have doing my hair on such an important morning.

If you're getting married in/around Newport, go to Jennie Kay Beauty. I was thrilled with my hair and makeup and so were my bridesmaids, the mother of the groom, and my mom. The team was very patient, looking at pictures of what we liked and taking real-time feedback, so everyone felt beautiful on the wedding day.

Did not enjoy me experience here. Made an appointment for a hair and makeup trial - both were disappointing. I have gotten airbrush done a few times before and loved it. In this case the airbrush makeup creased in fine lines a few hours after the trial and it also caked in a few acne scars. It also made my skin look very oily within a few hours. I don't think it was done properly. In addition I asked for light pink natural lipgloss yet jennie insisted on a darker color. I think in this case it was more about her vision than what I wanted. Hair trial was disappointing as well. I asked for two styles. The first one was okay however the second one we ran out of time for, it was done in less than 20 minutes yet I was charged full price for this hair style. I think it would have been common courtesy not to charge when you don't complete a hairdo and are told "you get the idea of what it would look like". Needless to say, I did not retain Jennie for my wedding day!

I was truly looking forward to working with Jennie for my May 2021 wedding as the work I've seen online by her team does look beautiful; however, we unfortunately made the decision to postpone our wedding due to Covid. I have to say that I am extremely disappointed in how the entire situation was handled by Jennie. All of our vendors (including Jennie Kay) had clauses that our deposits were non-refundable and non-transferable; however, all of our vendors were still extremely accommodating in still allowing us to move our deposits to our new 2022 date as we are still in the midst of a pandemic (most I was able to change no problem, and a couple we paid very reasonable change fees) which was so greatly appreciated throughout all of this. Jennie, however, (the only vendor out of 7 vendors that we had issues with) took weeks to answer emails and when she did answer she gave an extremely vague response that she would not be booking weddings in 2022. I would have totally understood had she explained to me that she was already booked on the day I'm rescheduling, but she wasn't booked and still refused to transfer our deposit. I understand that our contract stated it was non-refundable and non-transferable, but so many vendors have been so kindly moving deposits anyways during covid. I even offered to pay a change fee if she would transfer the deposit, but she refused - so I lost a $1,200 deposit. I know that as a bride I personally would only want to work with vendors that treated their clients well and were accommodating and understanding during Covid so I wanted other brides to know about this experience as well. I hope Jennie takes this review into consideration when she works with future customers as I would neither work with her nor recommend her again.

I've been coming to Jennie for years now! Her attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture is unmatched. Besides being one of the sweetest people I've ever met, she is highly skilled in makeup application, hair color and styling. Along with everyone she hires! Only the best! They make you feel like you're apart of the family the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out. I've been present for many brides having makeup and hair trials done. They all look stunning and are obviously happy and satisfied with the work done. They are priced according to the level of work and service they give. I will be coming to Jennie Kay Salon for many more years to come!

The Jennie Kay Beauty Team was truly incredible on my wedding day and made my bridal party and I look so beautiful. From coordinating the trial and putting together the day of schedule for 8 people, Erin helped make everything a breeze. Shelby, who did my makeup and hair, is so incredibly talented and made me feel at ease throughout the entire morning! Absolutely amazing salon! So nervous to try a new place- moving from Florida and Virginia I have had amazing hair people and am very particular but I actually like Jess at Jennie Kay better than anyone else I've ever used- this is huge! Her hair painting is perfection!

Jennie is absolutely amazing! Not only is she a wonderful stylist but she is such an amazing person :) she totally fixed my hair and i just love it.

Jennie Kay is an amazing makeup artist, and she did a phenomenal job on me and my bridesmaids for my wedding this year. She did my makeup based on a photo I liked of makeup I'd done myself, and she made me look like the most gorgeous version of me possible. I don't wear much makeup, so for her to be able to put on fake eyelashes and have me not freak out is pretty amazing in and of itself. The airbrush makeup she did lasted all day and night (~12 hours from application 'til the end of our reception on a humid, rainy day and everything but my lip gloss was still going strong), and she did just as fantastic a job on my bridesmaids' and mom's makeup as she did on mine. Jennie Kay took everyone's individual style and preferences into account, and she even styled my mom's short, curly hair to her liking (again, on a humid day)! Jennie Kay's definitely not cheap, but her prices are really reasonable for professional makeup/hair styling. I never pay for stuff like that, but on my wedding day, I figured I could splurge, and I'm so, so glad I did. Jennie Kay was extremely professional and accommodating--despite just having had a baby she was still quite responsive to my emails--and I could not have been happier with her!

Jennie is God's gift to brides who want amazing hair and make up. She fit me into her tight schedule last Friday (after she'd been recommended by my CT-based wedding planner) and she did my hair and make up for our engagement photos in Newport. I walked in not knowing what to expect and walked out convinced that she HAS to do my bridal hair and make up at my wedding next summer! She knew EXACTLY what I wanted without even really asking and I felt SO beautiful for our engagement photos. She gave me Kim Kardashian-quality waves and a flawless natural face - my fiance was blown away! She's also fun and sweet and I'm so impressed with her small business. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for perfect a bridal look!

Coming to Newport for a wedding and made an appointment over two months in advance. They took my credit card info to hold the appointment. Was really excited about this salon and had been checking out styles on their insta. Today they called and cancelled my appointment as the stylist had to take an off site appointment. Very disappointed to have my appointment cancelled by the salon. Apparently having an appointment doesn't actually mean you have it, even when you put your credit card to hold the appointment. It's been super hard to find another appointment this late during wedding season- have already called several other places with no appointments available.

Two of my friends and I, all from out of town (NYC, and Miami) were attending a wedding in Newport, and made an appointment at Jennie kay after reading several decent reviews. We had some customer service issues: I initially made an appt. for a blow-dry (which may I add was 60$, and in even the best salons in Miami just a blow dry is average $40, but whatever I was willing to overpay for convenience) and both of my friends for blow dries and makeup - I was happy with the way my hair came out, however as soon as I finished my hair I asked the stylist if she would mind if I started my makeup myself while I waited for my friends to finish up their services, she very nicely said yes and I began. About 10 minutes later the owner approached me and told me I could not do my makeup there myself (using my own products) as it is a service that they offer and that "it is the same as if you went to a restaurant and brought your own food." I promptly stopped what I was doing and told her "Ok, but it is not the same as I did just have a service performed, and when I actually called the day before to see if they had any availability for a makeup appointment they didn't have any." So I paid for my hair and sat and waited for my two friends, who were having their services done with the same stylist. When one of them finishes having their makeup done, my other friend decides she did not like the result (because it was literally a layer of foundation and eyeliner - the simplest thing in the world that she could have totally done herself and definitely not worth 80$) and goes to pay for her hair service and says to cancel her makeup that she doesn't want to have it done anymore as she doesn't like how it came out on the other girl. The owner proceeds to tell her that that's fine, but unfortunately she still has to pay for it, as the appointment had been reserved preventing someone else from taking that time - my friend says ok understandable, and that she had all intention of having her makeup done until she saw the job that was done on the other girl, and that she did not like it, and that she was not paying for a service she had not had done, and much less one where she already saw was not going to like how it came out. They got into a bit of a disagreement - my friend did not end up paying for the makeup, just the hair. Overall it was just really unprofessional and poor customer service on the owners part, I would not return and I would not recommend the salon for this reason; I understand business policies but sometimes there are exceptions to rules.

First off Jennie Kay is FABULOUS!! I have been trying to find someone I can trust with my hair my entire life...after only knowing her for a matter of 10 minutes I knew I could trust her!! She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and very honest. She will make sure you are completely satisfied...regardless of what it takes. My husband was so impressed with my highlight and cut...not to mention our wedding day!! Erica (Jennie Kay's right hand lady) did my hair and makeup!!! It was perfect!! My 2 maid of honors hair was outstanding!! Erica was able to pin point their personalities perfectly!! I HIGHLY recommend Jennie Kay...she will make sure you are gorgeous...not just for a special occasion but everyday!!!

As a bride who loves spending hours in Sephora and pinning bridal looks on Pinterest, hair and makeup was one of if not the most important decisions I made for my wedding. I can wholeheartedly say that choosing Jennie and her team to work my wedding weekend was the best decision I ever made! Jennie is a master colorist and before the weekend got underway she colored my hair and achieved the exact color I was going for! Jennie did such an amazing dye job that my maid of honor said that she didn't realize my hair was in need of a breath of new life until Jennie's amazing color job! Her balayage skills are second to none and she is a true artist when she paints your hair. Jennie's team also did my hair and makeup, as well as my MOH's and my mom's, for my wedding welcome party and again they knocked it out of the park. They achieved the exact look each one of us was going for, and throughout the evening we were showered with compliments regarding our hair and makeup. Jennie and Steph also did the hair for myself, my bridal party, my mom and mother-in-law on my big day. Jennie and Steph created amazing looks that captured exactly what each of the women wanted but at the same time managed to make everything look cohesive. The weather on my wedding day was pretty windy, and at the last minute I asked Jennie if she wouldn't mind staying for touch-ups, even though this had not been planned Jennie went with the flow and stayed to help out some more! Having spent so much time with Jennie and her team during the weekend, I feel like I got to know her and her team well and connected with them on a level deeper than one of stylist and client. Jennie is one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met and her presence was both energetic and calming, as well as positive and caring. Jennie made sure everyone felt comfortable and loved the way they looked. I cannot truly put into words how grateful I am that I had Jennie and her team around me all throughout my wedding weekend. After spending so much time with Jennie, I consider her to be a close friend and part of the family; I cannot wait to work with Jennie again and I will not be going to anyone else to get my hair colored!!! Thank you, Jennie!!!!

jennie is the absolute best. after three years as a client, she is the only person i trust with my hair. my cut and color have never looked better, been healthier, or received more compliments! on top of being super talented, she's also fun, genuine, and awesome to be around. five stars.

Just got back from my hair and makeup wedding trial with Jennie Kay! It was a truly wonderful and FUN experience. She is a real artist, sweet as can be, and I am so excited to have her be a part of my big day!

About a month ago I visited the salon. I heard such great things about Jennie Kay and it sure did live up to the hype! When I walked in I was taken to the chair right away and offered a coffee or water. I thought this was such a great gesture. Morgan was the stylist who did my hair, and to be honest I was a bit nervous at first. I have always just gotten foils in my hair and this time I was trying to keep up with the trends and try baylage (hair painting). Morgan was very attentive the whole time, she took the time to look at the pictures I showed her and gave me a very through consultation. She is very easy to talk to and seemed to know exactly what I wanted. In the end I LOVED MY HAIR! I cannot say enough about this salon and needles to say I will defiantly be visiting again and requesting Morgan as my stylist.

I'm completely clueless when it comes to anything beauty related and without Jennie I'd be in trouble! She is the best. Amazing color and cut, great guidance on makeup and hair care and the atmosphere of the salon is so welcoming, peaceful, and such a gorgeous spot. I cannot imagine going to anyone else...ever.

I tried to contact her four different ways (email, her contact form, left a voicemail at her salon, etc.) and she never got back to me! I understand that this is her busy season, but it has been over a month since my first attempt. I find this extremely unprofessional and will definitely not be recommending her to any friends or family.

I had never colored my hair before Jennie, and she made the process seamless and wonderful! She really advises her clients on what looks will best suit them and I have never seen more incredible results!! If there were 10 stars, I would give 10!

Rude person on the phone-think her name was Stephanie-was trying to ask about appointments for a family member and she did not seem to have time to answer-not very professional!!

Jennie Kay was amazing! My hair and makeup was flawless on my wedding day and I am still receiving endless compliments about it. Jennie took the time to have two trials with me, the first we played with different hairstyles and I quickly learned that Jennie can do anything with hair! She is so creative. She also did my makeup with hi-def foundation, this trial was pretty far out from my wedding so she recommended when I got closer to the wedding and I had a concrete idea of what I wanted to come back for another. I went back to Jennie closer to my wedding and decided on a beautiful curly hair down look, my hair is stick straight and Jennie had those curls stay in my hair for days! Also after expressing concern because I turn very red very easily (hot, tired, alcohol) we decided to try airbrush, I fell in love with it. Jennie is so easy to talk to, its like talking to an old friend, and she listens (unlike other stylists I have tried) I was not only on of Jennie's brides but now I intend to go to Jennie with all my cut and color needs. Jennies beauty parlor is over an hour away from my house and she is worth every mile! Yes Jennie is difficult to get ahold of sometimes during peak wedding times but she has made moves to make it easier and she is worth the wait!! If you do not consider Jennie for your wedding you are crazy!
