JennyWenny Cakes did such an amazing job with our wedding cake and cupcakes. I’m still getting compliments on how delicious the desserts were. They really came through for us after our original bakery closed its doors 1 week before our big day. I was scrambling to find another bakery and they exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend JennyWenny Cakes for anyone looking for a bakery for a wedding or event.

We waited until last minute to try to find a place to do a custome cake and i stumbled upon jennywenny cakes and loved them immediately. They were able to get us in and create the cutest and tastiest cake. They responded quickly and created just what we wanted. The cake at the party was a hit, everyone loved it and it was entirely gone within just a few minutes. The cake was moist and fresh and we couldn't be happier. Thank you so much and definitely would be back and recommend to anyone for any occasion.

Such a big fan of Jenny's amazing desserts! I'm a wedding photographer, and this means I get this incredible privilege of indulging in a whole bunch of different tasty treats at different events. I've seen (and had the good fortune to consume) such a wonderful range of aesthetic creations as well as flavor profiles from them, and it is always a journey in delicious delights. Jenny's been such a collaborative, generous, and creative vendor to work with, so I always get excited when we're doing another wedding together! Jenny Wenny is absolutely fantastic. Our wedding cake, despite being over a year and a half ago, is still the talk of our family and friends. They crafted a stunning vegan cake with various flavors for each layer, perfectly aligning with our dinosaur-themed wedding. The cake not only supported dinosaur figurines but was a delicious blend of lemony goodness and different jams between layers. The bottom layer, a chocolate delight with berry jam, was a hit! Sadly, due to the guests loving it so much, my husband and I missed out entirely! The wedding coordinator couldn't save us a slice as everyone had seconds in a flash. It was heartbreaking for us; all we wanted was a bite of that incredible cake. However, my birthday became extra special when my mom surprised me with a mini cake and cake-shots from Jenny Wenny. It was an absolute delight, and it reminded us of the amazing taste and service they offer. Jenny Wenny's talent, attention to detail, and the sheer deliciousness of their cakes are unmatched. Highly recommended for any occasion! Thanks a million for making our wedding memorable, even if we missed out that night.

Jenny Wenny did my wedding, and I've been waiting to go back to them for my baby's first birthday! Everyone at her party loved the cake, and when someone asked me where it was from, the photographer heard me and said "EVERYONE goes to Jenny Wenny, its the best!" We got vanilla with berry, but definitely don't sleep on the Hummingbird cake!

We order my daughter's birthday cake every year and she and her team have exceeded our expectations every time! I have a wheat allergy and order a GF (friendly) cake and no one even notices. The cakes are beautiful and taste as good as they look. We opted for delivery, as that is much more convenient for us, as we don't live locally and fly in to see family for our daughter's birthday. The entire process (from afar) was incredibly easy and we hope to order from Jenny for many years to come.

Jenny Wenny Cakes delivered the most perfect and delicious cake for my husband's Navy ceremony. It looked exactly like what we imagined and Jenny Wenny communicated the entire time up to the event to make it all happen. I cannot recommend then enough! The cake was a huge hit! We had nothing left to take home. We will definitely use them for any cakes in the future.

From start to finish, JennyWenny was amazing. They were a bit pricier than a few other bakeries we had reached out to for our vow renewal. However, we liked their cake flavors and options the best. We did a 4 tiered cake with an added on sheet cake. The 2 top tiers we did a vanilla cake with a strawberry filling, the rest was an Oreo type filling with vanilla cake. They also had a nice selection of other desserts but we opted to do those with our venue. But we did try some in our samples and they were delicious. It was really easy to get in contact with someone and upon visiting San Diego we were able to make an appt the week prior to when we came out in August 2023 to meet with various vendors. We opted to do a plain buttercream cake because we wanted cascading flowers. JennyWenny cakes do charge a small floral placement fee but it was only $25 and they did it very well. I was in awe when I walked into our ballroom and saw the cake. It tasted just as good as our tasting. I wish I was able to save a piece for our anniversary but will def reach out at our one year mark and see if they can do a sort of anniversary cake when we are in town. Thanks so much to the staff for all their help throughout the past year. We loved our cake!!

We had JennyWennyCakes cater mini desserts for our wedding reception and our guests absolutely loved it! I wanted a mini dessert bar over a wedding cake because I wanted guests to be able to choose what desserts they wanted and I didn't want any cake to be wasted. I ordered the mini dessert tasting box and had a consultation with one of the employees. At first, I thought the desserts were quite small, but given our event had appetizers and a multi-course dinner I felt it was an appropriate size. We had around 180 guests and allocated 2.5 mini desserts per person. We thought this would be enough since majority of our guests were older adults who do not eat sweets. However, on the day of, the desserts were finished quickly because we had about ~10 kids that took way more than 2.5 each. So I would recommend adding a bit more if you plan to have kids at your event! The flavors we ordered were: Mini Cupcakes Red Velvet Mini Cupcakes- 5 Hazelnut Almond Mini Cupcakes - 5 dozen Berry Macarons - 2 Pistacio Macarons - 2 dozen Passionfruit tarts - 6 dozen Fruit tarts - 6 dozen Tiramisu dessert cups - 5 dozen Tres Leches - 5 dozen Vanilla vegan cake cups - 4 dozen We added delivery, set up, and dessert stand rental to our contract for an additional fee. I also provided my own menu signs which they helped set up. Everything went smoothly the day of and the dessert station looked beautiful all laid out! My wedding coordinator packed up the dessert stand rentals in the same crate the night of and I returned them to JennyWennyCakes the week after. Overall, the guests loved the dessert bar and I would definitely recommend JennyWennyCakes!

I am very sorry this took so long to write (wedding was on 11/11/22) but OMG!!!! VERY kind, VERY professional!!!! The tasting was organized and easy to follow, they nailed the design, they used the topper we had with no issues whatsoever, choosing the cake stand and returning it was easy and clear.. AND MOST OF ALL, the cake was delicious! Thank you all so much for an AMAZING cake!! :')

The desserts and set up for our table were beyond our expectations. The variety of choices were exactly what we dreamed of, and the flavors were spectacular. Our wedding cake went above and beyond our dreams and they captured our vision perfectly by adding in our pets. Not only do we plan to come back for an anniversary cake, but we definitely plan to use Jenny Wenny for all future events and cravings!

Extremely delicious!!! My friend had a party for his girlfriend (it was such a blast!!!) One of her friends recommended JennyWenny cakes. Got this addicting cake pops, decadent mini cupcakes, and creamsicle flavor flamingo cake. Everyone at the party loved all the sweets and we were talking about it. Everything was eatable too. The pictures don't do justice on how beautiful everything was in person. EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

My 2 tier wedding cake from jennywenny was everything I hoped for! From the initial consultation, and tasting everything went smooth and easy! The cakes don't just look good, they taste AMAZING. We used Jenny Wenny at our wedding and they were fantastic! The cake was beautiful and delicious, and they make a full dessert table with a dozen different options for our guests. The reviews were glowing across the board. My personal favorites were the cake pop and chocolate chip cookie, but they were all amazing. We were recommended to Jenny Wenny by our wonderful wedding coordinator, Melissa from I Do Weddings and Events. Everyone at Jenny Wenny Cakes was amazing and very communicative from beginning to end. I appreciated the consistency and efficiency of our emails and that they made sure that our wedding coordinator was also in the loop. We got the vanilla cream/buttercream with berry jam filling, it was very light and heavenly!! We didn't want anything too sweet or heavy, especially for our wedding guests. After the wedding, we brought the rest of the cake home and accidentally forgot to put it in the fridge. But the next day it tasted even better! Would definitely recommend Jenny Wenny for your wedding cake needs, thank you so much!

The staff at JennyWenny Cakes is incredibly easy to work with and very responsive to any questions and concerns. They kept us updated throughout the process, and never left us feeling forgotten. The recommended cake flavors that they offer are unique, and/or you can mix and match the cake/fillings/buttercream. Their cakes and desserts are head and shoulders above the other tastings we did, which is why we chose this bakery, not to mention the affordability. Of note - this is a kitchen-only business, in a space shared with another bakery, and you must make appointments for tastings. They offer pick up/take out tastings which is very convenient. The cakes are rich, moist, and hold up extremely well even after the event! Not only did our wedding cake taste amazing, but it looked picture-perfect as well. The attention to detail is immaculate. They even decorated our wedding cake with fresh flowers and it turned out exactly as I imagined. I would highly recommend JennyWenny Cakes for any event you are considering them for!

They don't pay attention to detail and the girl that was supposed to help is with the cake was bland and not likable. She got my wedding date wrong and even had a little attitude when she asked about the reception, thought it was her place to give an opinion about how late my reception was. She didn't answer any of my questions and rushed it when we came in for the cake tasting. The cake wasn't even that great, and felt very dry. She also got the cakes wrong when she described which ones were which flavor. Awful. Definitely going for another company for my wedding cake. *it looks like I am not the only one if you read the one star reviews. The person that I had to deal with was Carleen. She is just awful. Jenny if you want to improve your business, you need to get rid of her. And maybe start improving your services in general.

JennyWenny is incredible! The experience from the beginning was so fun, and the tasting was delicious. My husband and I decided on banana chocolate chip and it was the best cake we have ever had. All of our guest LOVED it, and it was beautiful. The team is wonderful, thank you so much!

No words to describe how impressed I am with JennyWenny cakes! First, I contacted 5 places and they were the only ones to contact me back. I was having a small going away party for a friend of mine and wanted a custom cake. From ordering to the pick up the customer service was flawless and easy! But the cake was WAAAAY beyond expectations! We had a bulldog created for the top (my dog) and everyone was floored by the creation and knew who it was! They added fresh flowers to the cake for me to take it over the top! The cake (hummingbird) was probably the best I have ever had! Even the chef and manager from the restaurant were so impressed by the cake that they came out to ask be where I got it and who made it! I am a customer for life! I highly recommended JennyWenny cakes if you have any event that you want to make just a bit more special! And I thought the price was MORE than fair for what I received!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I purchased an 8" round cake for an 80th birthday dinner at the Marine Room. it was the first time I had tried JennyWenny Cakes. much to my delight, the experience was definitely a 5 star! from my first contact to picking the cake up, they were helpful and pleasant. I didn't have much of a design in mind so I just told them about the event and they came up with the perfect design. it suited my brother perfectly and he was quite delighted with it as were all of the guests. I certainly recommend this company for any special event you may be planning.

This is my second experience with JennyWenny Cakes. Since they did a fabulous job with the desserts for my daughter-in-law's baby sprinkle last fall I asked them to make desserts for a ladies' tea party at my home. They did a marvelous job. Highly recommend them for your next event!

The favorite element of our wedding! They incorporated a little figurine of our dog on the cake, and we loved it! SOOO tasty too, especially as it was gluten-free and dairy-free. Our guests had no idea!

I would recommend the owner however, she has a bad apple as an employee. I was exploring bakeries and solo bakers for a birthday cake design. I reached out to Carleen via her solo bakery (Pastry Yumies) and inquired about services. I did not know she also worked at this bakery. When I reached out, she charged double the price and did not offer invoice or receipts aside from a screenshot of the payment received. I decided to move forward with another bakery and I let her know my decision. I called several bakeries and was able to speak to the owner of this bakery! She was so nice and assured me she would do the cake decision and schedule me for a cake tasting. I sent Jenny an email with my design and I was excited! Low and behold, I receive a message from Carleen (Pastry Yummies IG) sharing she received my message through JennyWenny Cakes and noted the owner does not do 3D cakes or copyrighted images. I was shocked because HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. Carleen then proceeds to email me from her employers email saying JennyWenny Cakes could not do my cake. I immediately called the owner (Jenny) and she was shocked! She took a look at my cake design over the phone and said it was absolutely doable and noted she was not aware of this communication. Essentially, it seemed like Carleen was upset and decided to stop her employer from getting business (since I declined her side hustle business because of a missing receipt and invoice). The owner sent me another email confirming she could do the cake design requested and apologized. Happy that I kept all messages received and I ultimately decided to move forward with another bakery.

I contacted Jenny after my friend got her wedding cake from them. The cake flavor was so good and the decoration was beautiful. Jenny made me a cake for my bridal shower and it looked amazing and tasted even better. I can't wait for Jenny to make my wedding cake for December. I can't recommend JennyWenny cakes, enough!

I connected with JennyWenny Cakes when I wanted to order a cake for a friends 50th birthday - and it turned out perfectly! The cake looked and tasted amazing. The process to create the cake was very easy. I shared a Pinterest link with the colors and designs I had in mind, and we quickly settled on the size of the cake, colors, etc. They conveniently offered to include a cake topper for an additional cost, but I ended up getting one on my own later since I was unsure if I wanted one during the ordering process. Paying and pick up was easy as well. I would recommend and order here again!

Great customer service! They helped me a lot on making the decision about the design I wanted, I changed my mind several times, they were so nice and patient. My boy loved his Spidey Cake. My experience with JennyWenny Cakes was amazing. I ordered my 50th birthday cake a few months in advance. I shared inspo photos but wanted Jenny and her team to bring their creativity to design a most gorgeous and delicious cake. It was divine! It was absolutely breathtaking aesthetically and beyond moist and flavorful. I went with a coconut cake with a passion fruit purée and cream filling, with chocolate ganache. Here are a few photos! Highly recommend. The cake was pricier than I expected, given I order decadent, gorgeous designs every year, from other bakeries, but it was so worth it. If you would like a truly memorable cake for your celebration, you will be so happy with JennyWenny cakes.

We are so thrilled we went with Jenny for our wedding! From start to finish it was an absolute joy. Dessert tasting introduced us to cakes we never knew about--like Hummingbird cake, which we liked so much we made our biggest tier! We actually got the tasting box as a to-go box and made an afternoon of it at one of our favorite wineries (Altipiano -- check them out too!). The hardest part by far was narrowing down the selection, but we could not have been happier with our desserts day-of. We had a gorgeous (see photos!) and delicious cake with elegant finishing touches in partnership with our florist, and an array of desserts that left every guest with a smile, compliments to our bakers, and a sugar high! We will go back to Jenny happily for any event :)

I had a mermaid themed baby shower and JennyWenny delivered! I was so pleased with both the design and flavor (chocolate). I didn't even want to cut the cake cus it was just too pretty. This was my 2nd time ordering from them and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Their customer service is 5stars!

I recently had the pleasure of ordering a 90th birthday party cake from JennyWenny Cakes and when my guests saw the cake they ooooowwwwd and aaawwwwwd on how beautiful it was. After the party I received calls, cards and emails from my guests on how wonderful the cake looked and tasted. Several of my guests inquired where I purchased the cake. I was impressed with the easy ordering communication and service. I was forced to change my order due to late RSVPers and it was no problem at all. We had a party of about 60 people. I ordered five dozen cupcakes and a one tier cake. Everything was so delicious the cupcakes were gone in a hot minute! The cake was so moist and the frosting was to die for! I felt the price was fairly reasonable, compared to other high prices around. I will definitely remember them for my next big event!

We loved our cake - it was so fun and cheerful and was the perfect way to celebrate a major milestone at work. It was also delicious! We had our wedding cake made by Jenny's team and it was everything we wanted and more. The design of the cake was executed just as I had envisioned - very minimal with some textured ridges throughout and some of our floral arrangement on top. The cake itself was three different layers, each with it own unique flavor profile. It was nice to have such a large variety of options to choose from because I have some very particular family members that love fruit filled while my husband and I are all about the chocolate. I received rave reviews from numerous guests on all the different cake layers. Something I think is critical to a good piece of cake is being sweet without overwhelming. Jenny Wenny does this so well. Incredible flavor, richness, but not too heavy. The service from their team was also exceptional. We had to move our wedding date due to a family health issue and they were so understanding and flexible. They were also great on follow ups and helping keep me organized with the hundred other things on my to do list.

Jenny Wenny Cakes went above and beyond our expectations to make our wedding cake spectacular! Before the wedding, we sent a picture for inspiration for the design and they were absolutely on point! We also had tastings beforehand with a various selection of flavors of cake/frostings/fillings that were all delicious. Everyone at the wedding was raving about how delicious the cake was! We chose the chocolate cake with caramel and chocolate mousse, Swiss meringue buttercream frosting.

Amazing bakery. Gourmet cakes and desserts are so good. I ordered a graduation cake and macrons for a party and both were delicious. This cake was the hit of the party. Highly recommend.

Great experience overall. Worked with them through the website (convenient for me, which is great) and hashed out the details. They were able to accommodate what we were looking for, and the general list of flavors and cake types helped us narrow down our initially vague idea. We ordered 9 dozen cupcakes and a 1-tier 3-layer cake, raspberry and chocolate and white mouse, I believe. Great stuff, everyone loved the cake and the cupcakes were fantastic too. They delivered right to our house the morning of the party, which was good because we had enough craziness we were trying to manage

We ordered small desserts for our baby shower and everything was not only beautiful but also delicious. The cupcakes were heavenly. They were like biting into a cloud of yumminess. Everyone enjoyed the desserts, and gave many compliments.

We LOVED our cake! It looked just like the sample picture I gave to Jenny Wenny, if not better! We did half of the cake (75 slices) in the actual cake, and half sheet cake (75 slices) so the venue could start cutting and serving early (150 total). Our cake was vanilla cake layered with strawberry jam + vanilla cream, vanilla buttercream on the outside. The flavor and moist cake were insanely delicious and more than we could have hoped for. All of our guests loved it. There was more than enough cake to go around so portions were ample. It was a pleasure to do a cake tasting and work with Jenny Wenny throughout -- everything was easy! We were so happy we chose Jenny Wenny!
