Saint Bread Is Expanding to Include Dinner and a Bar - Eater Seattle

"Hinoki is a new project by Saint Bread, located in the outdoor food truck area next to the bakery on Jensen Marina. It will serve wood-fired food with a lot of influence from Japanese cuisine, helmed by chefs Zach Lucido and Jesus De Lara. The opening is expected in May." - Harry Cheadle

My boyfriend and I spent a couple of days in cottage #5. Can I tell you how cute these cottages are?!! They seemed to be completely remodeled. The kitchen was fully stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need to cook. Plenty of towels, comfy beds, and the a/c was ICE cold. And in August, that is very appreciated! There was a grill outside we used, and if you walk down to the marina at dusk, the manatees come and spend the night there. They were very accommodating. I hope to go back one day, maybe for a family reunion.

Disappointed and Deeply Concerned About Safety at Jensen’s Marina. NOT LOCALLY OWNED ANY LONGER. ||||||||As locals who have been loyal guests of Jensen’s Marina for years, it brings us no joy to write this review—but our recent experience was so upsetting that it must be shared.||During a family stay at the marina, unauthorized individuals were somehow allowed access to the property. These individuals not only stole valuable personal belongings directly off our boat, but they||also interacted with our children while on the premises. It was a SCARY experience to wake up to.||Especially in what is marketed as a safe, family-friendly environment.||||We trusted Jensen’s because of its long-standing reputation in the community, and we’ve recommended it to many friends and fellow boaters over the years. BUT it is now owned and managed by Royal Shell and RLR Investments. This is NOT a locally run property. That trust has now been completely shattered. Even more disappointing was the way the incident was handled afterward.||||Despite the seriousness of the situation—including the emotional toll on our children—our claim was unfairly denied, and the resort failed to take any responsibility for what occurred. They even charged us to rent rods, after ours were stolen. ||Zero compensation, no help with releasing video footage, ect. ||Guests should feel safe while staying at any resort. Sadly, that was not our experience here. We are sharing this story with the broader boating and fishing||community to help others make informed decisions about where they choose to stay.

Had one of the best days of our week on one of Jenson’s pontoon boats with our entire family… .6 Hours of Boating, fishing, exploring the islands and shelling! A must do while on Captiva if you have boating knowledge.

stopped for gas for dinghy and they helped find oil for the mixture and let us park our dinghy on the beach to walk around the island, very helpful and didn't charge us to park our dinghy for an hour. We had called to McCarthy Marina, and they told us it would be $40 to park on their beach. Right next to McCarty marina there is a public access beach so don't pay at McCarthy Marina
