We are from LA and met with a friend from overseas in San Diego. So from LA standard, this place is only worth 3*, but I guess from SD's standards, it may be higher than 3. The biggest selling point was wagyu, and we came for the wagyu. It's the most disappointing part of the visit. The meat looked like wagyu, but chewed like cardboard. It's gross. Marinated wagyu was better, but probably coz they added tenderizer to their meat. It's the same case for all their meat (natural meat were hard, not fresh and of bad cuts), and tenderized meat were okay. The only meat we enjoyed was the squid, but even that was only average, not above average. The Kbbq smell that you walk out of an OLD Korean restaurant is going to be there on your body and clothes, too. Ventilation is poor, and it's very noisy and crammed, not comfortable seatings at all. They dont even grease their grilling pan prior to cooking, and all the meat gets stuck and burnt on the pan up on touch. Service is rather good, though, and they change our pans and plates quickly. At $40pp, this is a waste of time and money.

It had been quite a while since my last visit, mostly because I’d been away for some time. We stopped by while getting our vehicle serviced across the street, and I was happy to find that my favorite KBBQ spot was already open—earlier than most other restaurants in the area. This place has always been a favorite of mine for several reasons, especially because it’s self-serve. I love being able to choose exactly what I want, whether just a little or a full plate. The server was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.

Google
Delicious all you can eat barbecue at Jeong Won! Loved the Wagyu and other beef the most, couldn’t get enough of it. Really relaxed vibe and like the all you can drink fountain drinks. The staff was great, very friendly and took the time to clearly explain things and checked on us often. Definitely recommend!

Google
My husband and I had a great time here, it has a cozy and cute vibe. The food was so delicious too, we got up to get more four times! Shoutout to our server, Andres, who was so friendly and attentive the entire time. He made sure we had everything we needed and explained the food bar well, he added to the great experience. For the price, this place is beyond worth it. If you’re looking for delicious KBBQ with great service and a welcoming vibe, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Fairly good food. I have had better, but this is not bad for the price and what you can do being it's all you can eat with self serve. Sad news is they don't serve alcohol, and some of the meats were not as tender as they could be for the cuts I selected. The banchan selection was pretty good, and the sauces were so numerous I almost suffered decision paralysis. The grills do stick a lot and over burn some of the meats being they're not oiled prior to use, so I had to get mine changed about 5 times just by myself. The hostess/server was very nice and on top of grill changes and serving my tea and other needs. I may return, but I'm going to check out other locations for comparison.

Google
Wow brings you back to home with the quality and service. They consistently asked to change the grill plates. Made sure our plates were cleared and was just overall attentive! The quality of meats and seafood was excellent. The lamb and wagyu was mouth watering. The side dishes was plenty, fresh, and delicious.

Google
Very good place! I really enjoyed the experience, great variety, fresh ingredients and best of all “No time pressure”. Very friendly customer service overall. The best part of this place is that it can accommodate to your diet habits, either vegetarian, carnivore, keto, gluten free etc. Super recommended.

Google
Fabulous little gem that our family discovered while having a celebratory dinner. We had just finished up a jiujitsu tournament and adults and kids ventured to this awesome restaurant to refuel. My kids are 7 and 6 and pretty picky eaters. I was a bit worried what they would eat. Well, this place is so family friendly... let me tell you why! We got a wide assortment of meats for the adults and the marinated wagyu, bulgogi, chicken and bacon for the kids. The kids loved cooking their own food on the table top grill. The loved being their little chefs. They munched the rice, grilled broccoli, and carrots and chased it all down with some miso soup. The adults were well-fed with he beautiful assortment of veggies and accoutrements. We loved that we could help ourselves to the food! The service was stellar. The wait staff graciously tended to our large party and changed the grates quite often and really tended to every person in our group. Bravo on a wonderful spot with great welcoming vibes and showing us new comers what the experience is all about! Our picky eater kids are like champs and can't wait to come back!

Yelp
For the most straightforward, no frills ayce kbbq, Jeong Won is a staple of the Kearney Mesa food scene. Every Gen feels like a rowdy dance club: loud music blaring, hazy smoke clouding the inside. Manna really depends on if you have a good, attentive server to bring you what you need. Jeong Won is different, it's buffet-style. You can get up, get exactly what you need from the bar, make your own seasonings and sauces, grab your own soda. The whole thing is very do-it-yourself, which I adore. There's ample seating for large groups, for intimate date nights, and family dinners. The selection is decently sized. They're not premium, don't expect A5 Wagyu or 45-day dry-aged pork belly. It doesn't feel like a special occasion sort of place, more like a grab your buddies after work, get some beers, and have a good time. Not to say there isn't good service, they're fantastic. What I really appreciate is that the staff is proactive: they anticipate your needs. No need to do the dance of making eye contact, raising your hand in hopes of getting someone's attention. They go to you, suggest when a grill change is needed, they're personable, and they're willing to get what you need. I've been to kbbq restaurants all around the country, but Jeong Won is the place I've gone to the most.

Yelp
I came with one other person on a Friday at 5pm. The first things I noticed about the restaurant was 1) how good it smelled, and 2) the cozy decoration with inspirational signs on the walls. Food: This restaurant is self-serve, buffet style. The meat selection is smaller than what you'd find at a typical kbbq spot where you order from a server, but all of the meats were always well stocked. I appreciated that the self-serve AYCE meant my meal was completely self-paced. Favorite dishes I kept going back for: - Radish wrap - Marinated wagyu - Wagyu - Short rib - Lamb leg In addition, there was also a huge sauce bar and all the side dishes typically served with kbbq. Bonus: all of their sauces and side dishes are made in house!! Service: Incredibly welcoming staff who came by to check on us and change our grill frequently. Would definitely return again if I'm looking for a filling kbbq meal with a cozy, laid back vibe!

Yelp
It is always wonderful! I love sesame sauce with spicy Mayo or vegetable sauce. I like bulgogi! I wrap bulgogi in pack w/ onion. Wagyu and seafood is good! Angela was our server. She was so nice and sweet! She changed our grill top three time (w/ a smile everytime.) I ate so much and still smell Like onion garlic sesame. It's kind of a lot of $$$ but not really because I throw down!!! I mean business! I gotta get bulked up for the COLD hibernation season!!!

Yelp
Self serve ayce kbbq. The only thing they serve you is the miso soup. Literally we got our own rice, rice paper, kimchi, japchae, steamed egg, cucumber, mash potato, fish cake. They have several other banchan as well. Only thing missing that my son likes is Mandu but that's ok. They have a lot of assorted meats including Wagyu, lamb, seafoods, beef tongue, short rib, brisket, etc. soda fountain had Pepsi products. Also get your own condiments. I personally like using sesame oil and salt. The staff was attentive in bussing our table and asking for grill changes. Parking lot can be tight but we were able to find parking. Extra parking on the street as well.

Yelp
Great quality, great quantity, good value. Jeong Won is the most recent KBBQ experience that I've had and I have probably dined at over 30 locations in the Southern California region between LA and SD. So far, this is the most genuine Korean BBQ experience that I have had. The biggest difference between this restaurant and other KBBQs in the area, aside from the great quality of their food, is the self-serve aspect which I enjoyed a lot as it gave way to a very cozy dining experience where I didn't have to worry about flagging down busy servers and keeping mental track of how long ago its been since I ordered more meat. The quality of their meats are stellar which boggles me considering this is a self serve restaurant. They had a huge selection of different proteins, cuts, and preparation styles. They also had a large selection of vegetables and sides; larger than anything I've seen in San Diego so far. They also include free soft drinks with your meal which is available via self-serve. Finally their condiment station offers a pretty sizable variety of wet and dry condiments to enjoy your meal with. The only thing that I find to nit-pick at this restaurant is that it is a tad pricy compared to other restaurants. In my experience, I was able to attribute the higher cost to the better ingredients and the inclusion of soft drinks. Altogether, I had an awesome experience and I will find it hard to enjoy other KBBQs without strictly comparing it to this restaurant in the future.

Yelp
This place is great!!!! Opens at 1030am and if you can do it, self - serve mountains of meat! You don't have to ring a bell, wait, place an order, then order your limited 4 or 5 meats at a time. Here you can take a plate, walk up to the meat self serve section and grab your own meat!! As much as you can eat! Be mindful, you will be charged $10 for un eaten meats. I'm so coming back here again!

Yelp
This place is so terrible and gross. The food is buffet style, and they leave it out raw meat and you server yourself. The meat smelled spoiled and not fresh since it was turning grey. Told the staff that they should consider replacing some of the meats, but they acted like I should be lucky eating spoiled meat. Amazing there are so many other Korean BBQ places nearby, big mistake did not cross reference Yelp before going here due to being in the same plaza where I was picking something else up. My wife and I ended up sick eating here. BEWARE this place is gross and terrible, the food is not sanitary, and they do not refresh it properly, leaving it out for hours sitting in buffet trays.

Yelp
Our friends brought us here and it was AMAZING! Gloria was our server, she's very attentive and friendly. The meat is so fresh and the sides taste home made. Love the buffet style because you can grab what you eat. I love the warmth/homey feeling of the restaurant. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
It's a smaller Korean barbecue spot in the heart of Convoy. The waiter seated me and my guest. It's a self serve which has its advantage on the portion of meat I can get. It can eliminated the waste of meat. I can get my own soft drinks. They have iced teas and couple of sodas. My favorite meat choices were waygu, short ribs, beef tongue and pork belly. They have a sauce bar, veggie options and other meat choices. The ambiance of the restaurant reminded me of a home vibes of random quotes on the wall and decors. I would say the quality of the food is great but can be better. It's still a great spot for self serve purposes.

Yelp
My friend wanted KBBQ so this was the closest spot. Though there may be plenty of eatery spots, for what we were looking for, we picked correctly. AMBIANCE: Parking: It's in a plaza however you're in Convoy so it can get pretty busy so do come early if you need to prep time for parking especially during lunch and dinner hours. Seating: Inside seating, room for maybe 50 people. Great for groups. Vibes: Welcome to Convoy! There are plazas and plazas of good eats! The spot itself is simple. It's nothing too flashy just a few pictures of food and some nice positive quotes displayed around the restaurant. I dig the lite rock music. Great place for group outings or a lowkey date night. FOOD: Meats (Recommend) Wow! It's basically unlimited. The setup is unique too. I'm usually familiar with servers giving you the meats but you basically go and get it yourself - with your choice of how much you want. You have your ground, air, and seafood, enjoy! Sides (Recommend) I really can't provide any recommendations since everything is good here. However, I would try to minimize your carb intake so you have more room for meats. The miso was nice to help digest food. Also, I would recommend trying to save room for frozen yogurt. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! Friendly people and helpful! TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. Lovely! Great selections, reasonable prices, and a pleasant ambiance. Would I come back here? Most certainly! However in respect I do feel like I should try the other KBBQ spots but if I get too lazy or I need a go to, then this is my spot! TIPS: * Come hungry!

Yelp
I recently found out about this place and love it. Most Korean BBQ places have the servers bring out the meat. So you're at their mercy of how much or little meat they want to bring you. Sometimes you are brought a ton of just one type of meat. Because of this, I have hated eating all-you-can-eat BBQ by myself. At Jeong Won Korean BBQ you go up and grab everything yourself, including meat, veggies, the sides, and drinks. It's so nice being able to grab exactly what you want and how much of it you want. Thanks to the self serve style, I can grab a large variety of meats though at smaller portions and get to try a little bit of everything. There are small, medium, and large tables for different party sizes. Depending on the time, the restaurant may be packed! For the décor, they have a lot of interesting quotes and pictures on the walls. In addition to the meat and veggies, they have so many different varieties of sauces, dips, and seasoning. Four variety of salt! Horseradish, wasabi, Chinese mustard, and so much more. I never would have known how much I love Korean BBQ meats with Chinese mustard! I usually don't like pork bulgogi, but I love the spicy pork bulgogi here. They leave Wagyu beef just like any other meat and I dream about their bacon. I came here 3 times in the month of December!

Yelp
One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. This small restaurant is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The two girls working during our visit were attentive, always clearing dishes quickly and checking in to see if we needed anything. They serve the standard selection of meats (nothing too unique), but everything was fresh and well-prepared. The marinated wagyu was our favorite. On the other hand, the marinated bulgogi, which is usually my favorite at KBBQ, was just okay. The bathroom was also impressively clean, which you don't see often. My only small complaint is that they didn't have soda water. Overall, I'd give it a solid 4.5 out of 5.

Yelp
Been here a couple of times ,i like its Korean BBQ buffet and that it's Self-serve, I can get as much meat as I want, and no limit on how many times I get it. The quality of the meats is just okay, flavors on marinated meats its also just okay, but that is why they have these sections of all the condiments you can use to put in your meats. Service is great, they are quick to pick up our used plates and change out the grill. Inside has many Fun Quotes to read on their wall. Parking is a challenge here too, we made a couple of rounds before we found a parking. This Korean BBQ buffet is just okay.

Yelp
This is our families go-to Korean BBQ in San Diego. Plenty to choose from, but we like coming here. Probably because its DIY! Just so much more convenient and not having to wait for service. Get up and go get your meat, sides, sauces, drinks, rice, and almost everything, at your own leisure. Parking is a serious pain, but we do our best not to let that bother us. There's street parking, but geeze that is even hard to find, so you have to be patient till someone leaves. Warning...these parking spots are small! Can't wait for our next visit back! PS....its fun to read all the different quotes, notes, etc on the wall. There's some I took a picture of attached here.

Yelp
Great place to have Korean BBQ buffet Plenty of protein, vegetables and side dishes plus beverages - yummy

Yelp
The food options: they had a nice variety of options, meat, vegetables, side dishes and condiments. I really like the option to choose the exact food I want to grill and this place allows for that... that way was so good. Service: they were very attentive to our table, changing out the grill plates often so that we weren't cooking g on a burnt grill, that was important and made a difference. The owner (Erwin) checked in on us multiple times (this was much appreciated and nice to see ownership checking in on customers, shows pride in their business) he even offered us some hot tea at the end of our meal. Ambiance: anytime you walk into a restaurant and smell grilled meats cooking, it's always a good thing. Relaxed non-rushed setting. We will continue to come back here as we truly enjoy K-BBQ and this is that with a twist.... See you again, Erwin

Yelp
Too pricey! $41 per person plus tip. The place looks old and it's self serve. If I knew it was that much ahead of time, I will walk out of there. I will never go back. Food was good like any Korean bbq place and the sides, but it's NOT worth it. Found a place in Vista $23 per person sounds better.
google avatar

Yelp
I remember Jeong Won as one of my first experiences of Korean BBQ and that was yearsss ago! I've revisited Jeong Won more recently and was impressed by the no-frills vibes. You come in, all you can eat and drink (soft drinks/teas/water) as you please. I'm sure there's a time limit as that's the norm for AYCE. I thoroughly enjoyed the selection of proteins available. My faves were wagyu, short rib, pork belly, shrimp and mussels. You can help yourself to the banchan bar where you can find japchae, steam egg, fish cake, assortment of pickled veggies. The quality of the meats are pretty good and at this price point, still a decent deal.

Yelp
Old school All you can eat Korean BBQ. Pick your own meats. Great flavors great selection. Great service. Reminds me of old school K -Town in L.A. befor covid. This is my spot when we are in S.D.. Thanks

Elfrid P.

Yelp
Best Korean barbecue restaurant. No waiting for servers to bring food that doesn't match an order. No having to worry about time. No shortages. And the food is top notch. Along with that, the servers here are so chill and welcoming. You will really feel like you're at home you're here the moment you walk in. 11/10
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
Glad we found this little mom and pop shop! It was opened an hour earlier than other Korean BBQ places. And it's definitely better than most Korean BBQ places that is self service. Smaller place though. Since we came pretty close to opening, everything was available and nice and neat. The owner even came around to talk to us. She was super friendly and talkative. I like the fact that you control your portions since I came with 2 other people. I didn't have to eat what they were eating. I got a variety of things and went back for the meats I liked. I also love their banchan choices. I got everything. Good kimchi and japgae too. Then the salad bar had a good selection too. Came with fountain drinks. Great sauce bar! It's more expensive then other kbbq in the area but I like portion controlling and I get to pick what I want without finishing a huge plate of it.

Yelp
This is our absolute favorite Korean barbecue !!! lots of all you can eat options, very clean dining room and bathrooms. The staff is absolutely amazing and always very friendly.

Yelp
Love that this restaurant is still in business! Came here in 2010 when it was the first and original AYCE KBBQ. It's very simple here. Serve yourself with meats and veggies. No need to wait for a waiter/waitress to reorder. Just keep stuffing your face for as long as you can! Downside: parking is rough.
google avatar

Hailey M.

Yelp
Came here with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved this place. We just missed the lunch rush and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Owner's sister Leah was there and welcomed us with such open arms and made sure we tried everything! She was kind and created such a fun and enjoyable ambience. Even tried some mussels! The food was absolutely delicious and we loved the buffet style selections! Overall, this place is amazing and we will DEFINITELY make this our spot!

Yelp
A friend recommended this hidden gem so I decided to check it out while I was in town. Loved the "grab your own food" concept, you don't see these types of restaurants much anymore. No more waiting for staff to take your meat orders, just get up and get it yourself. The quality and variety of meat was great and sliced just right, but where this AYCE KBBQ restaurant shines is the variety of banchan and sauces that you won't find anywhere else. I didn't count, but there were about a dozen different sauces to pair with your meat. I visit SD a few times a year and will be returning here every time I'm in town.

Ingrid K.

Yelp
Fantastic all-you-can eat Korean BBQ with self-serve stations so you don't have to wait and ask for specific cuts of meat to be delivered to your table. Why can't all KBBQ places operate like this?! Absolutely brilliant! The kimchi selection is brilliant as well. Loved the option between fermented and fresh baechu kimchi (napa cabbage). Plenty of seating for groups big and small. A mind-blowing selection of dipping sauces and generously sized saam (lettuce wraps) to make your Korean lettuce wraps.
google avatar

Mariah R.

Yelp
Met here for lunch with the fam on a weekday afternoon, pretty convenient that this is the only Korean place open early around 10am! I really like the self serve concept as I feel bad when Korean bbq restaurants bring out all those side dishes and I don't eat much of it. I love seeing all the different sauces I can use and that I can get my own quantity of anything. Lunch was $41 but hey it's all you can eat and came with drinks and dessert. The server was attentive and kept the buffet bar clean. Great experience, I'd probably get here early cause I can see it filling up fast!
google avatar

Yelp
Yesssss this place is sooo good! Great selection of meats, veggies, and banchan (side dishes) - staff were friendly and attentive. Hubs and I have enjoyed and also took bestie and son. Happy and full diners all of us

Yelp
This is one of the OG KBBQ spots to hit San Diego and I've been going here since the late 2000's. The price used to be more affordable back then (about $20/pp) and they used to have a self-serve ice cream machine that was legit McDonald's quality. It's gone through a few changes over the years, but Jeong Won will always be top tier with their unique self-serve buffet style selections. With options like beef tongue, American wagyu, and short ribs on their standard selection, you really can't go wrong. There's always a crowd here and always so lively inside. I especially love all the clever quotes that have been plastered all over the walls and bathrooms since they first opened. With so many other Korean barbecue places that opened up in San Diego since then, it's crazy that Jeong Won is still one of my top choices. Jeong Won walked so they could FLY lol.

Yelp
It was my first time here and I love everything about this place! It's practically self regulated. The food is self served buffet style with a covering when not in used, they're broken down by meat/seafood, veggies, sides, sauces. This is a huge plus for me because I get to grab my portion size without feeling the need to finish my food without waste and extra charge. Fountain drinks are self served but if you want oolong, black, or green tea you'll just need to let them know to bring you a cup. I don't know what their soup options are but I had miso and that'll also be another request for them to bring out. Ambiance is low light, homey, oldies music, no time limit which was another plus for me because I get indigestion when I feel rush to eat my food from the typical two hours limit. It's quiet/low noise good for me who wears hearing aids on both ears, and everyone being mindful of each other. Customer service was great! Let them know when you want your grill changed out or when ready to pay. I'll definitely come again when I feel Kbbq. It's too bad I didn't take photos because I was too engrossed enjoying my time there. Some food to look forward to (can't remember all the options): Marinated wagyu, wagyu, pork brisket, short ribs, pork belly, marinated chicken, beef, seafood, garlic, lettuce, potato, carrots, broccoli, zuchini, sour/reg kimchi, radish, lots of other banchan options, rice, and rice wraps, and so many other options. I tried to have as much I could try but next time. Overall I paid about $40 including tip.

Melanie L.

Yelp
This Korean BBQ is much more expensive than other places in San Diego with same quality! The meat options are very limited and the buffet options are not that impressive. We paid 50$ per person and we had to ask for a grill change and wait for more than 20 minutes each time.

Melissa M.

Yelp
Jeong won has always been our go-to for KBBQ. But we've noticed over the last few years that it is slowly going downhill. There always used to be a long wait list but the last couple of times we've come here, we walked right in because the place is EMPTY. The meat selection is good, but not any better than other places that are much cheaper. After our visit today, we probably won't be back. Not only are they more expensive, the fee to pay by card is a ridiculous $7!! and when we questioned our server about it, she was pretty rude with her response. Really though, who even carries cash these days? So long Jeong Won .. thanks for the memories. It was a good run, but this family of 5 will not be coming back. You just lost years long faithful customers. Good luck!

Leah B.

Yelp
Literally the best place EVER!!! My boyfriend and I go here at least once a month LOL. The service is 10/10. The wait staff is attentive and so kind! The Owner sometimes walks around and always makes sure we are taken care of. The meat quality is fresh and flavorful. It is a self serve casual vibe. We love Jeong Won!

Yelp
Love this place! We've been going there for the last year when we discovered it. My husband and I go for lunch, super chill and we love that we get to get our food at our pace. Not feeling rushed, and the host/ server is so kind and friendly.

Yelp
My favorite kbbq place. You get your food by to grill, so you dont have to wait too long for the server to serve it to you. Quality of food is good.

Yelp
Good selection of meets to choose from. I really liked barbecuing at my table. Staff changed the grills frequently. My first time trying barbecue shrimp. Had lots of fun. Definitely a good place to bring friends and family to. I liked the vibe of the restaurant.

Yelp
First review, but I came here to say the service was amazing. It was our first time here, as per a recommendation, and Chris was a friendly, great server to us. He answered our questions and helped us pick out the best meats. We really enjoyed the food. Loved it, thanks Jeong Won! :) p.s. I definitely recommend coming here hungry! So many options since it's an AYCE and all around lovely atmosphere.

Yelp
My new favorite Korean BBQ place! We went on a Monday night and the staff was very attentive. The hostess explained their process and where everything was located and let us go! You get to choose exactly how much you want of everything which is perfect, because I really like certain sides and sauces, and I don't like other sides and sauces that they automatically give you at other KBBQ restaurants. The bulgogi and wagyu especially was so good, I also really loved the zucchini, garlic, onions, white rice, and potato salad as far as sides go. The hostess changed our grill multiple times. The ambiance is also great, the pop playlist and positive quotes around the restaurant create such a happy, relaxed vibe. Only small downside is the parking, the lot is small and full and the parking spots are also very small, so maybe consider street parking. Overall, I highly recommend this spot and can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Love this place! I really like that it's a buffet and I can grab as much or as little as I want. There is a variety of meat and seafood. Service is great and the workers are always making sure to change our grill when it needs to be replaced.

Yelp
Fabulous little gem that our family discovered while having a celebratory dinner. We had just finished up a jiujitsu tournament and adults and kids ventured to this awesome restaurant to refuel. My kids are 7 and 6 and pretty picky eaters. I was a bit worried what they would eat. Well, this place is so family friendly... let me tell you why! We got a wide assortment of meats for the adults and the marinated wagyu, bulgogi, chicken and bacon for the kids. The kids loved cooking their own food on the table top grill. They loved being their own little chefs. They munched the rice, grilled broccoli, and carrots along with the meats and chased it all down with some miso soup. The adults were well-fed with the beautiful assortment of veggies and accoutrements. We loved that we could help ourselves to the food! The service was stellar. The wait staff graciously tended to our large party and changed the grates quite often and really tended to every person in our group. Bravo on a wonderful spot with great welcoming vibes and showing us new comers what the experience is all about! Our picky eater kids ate like champs and can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We love to take my parents here since my parents aren't too big on red meat and this is the only AYCE KBBQ I know of that includes fish, shrimp, and squid seafoods! There are sooo many sauces and we love trying them all. There are also many sides and condiments available. Another plus is soda and tea are free. The most stand out feature of this AYCE KBBQ place is that you serve yourself buffet style. No more having to wait for someone to bring you your portion-limited meats allows for a more continuous and enjoyable dining experience. There have been so many times at other places where the orders take forever to come out or they get forgotten completely. During the time spent waiting, we lose our appetites. The workers do a good job of keeping the self-serve stations clean and food-safe. Servers are friendly and attentive. What my family loves the most about coming here is supporting a small local business. The owner is a very sweet and friendly woman who checks in on all the customers and tries hard to make a good experience for them.

Yelp
The best kbbq out there. If you're hungry then the price is worth it for the high quality meats and sides plus unlimited beverages. Servers are always amazing and food never disappoints!

Yelp
truthfully, might go again but not in my top 3 what makes it worth to give it a shot: * not too busy * kind employees - one of them offered miso soup to me which was nice * unlimited drinks (unlike other kbbq places where they charge by the can) * you get up and get whatever meats, however many you want * unlimited sauce options * marinated wagyu and short rib were probably the faves at our table * BUT not gonna lie, the interior design is all over the place... there's a lot of cheesy quotes and signs, not sure what the theme is * definitely needs some updates to location * no dessert

Yelp
Great self serve concept for AYCE KBBQ. The sides are absolutely delicious and you can get as much as you like in whatever combination you like. The meat selection is also awesome with once again, your ability to get as much of only the proteins you want. Our favorite KBBQ spot in San Diego!

Yelp
This is a great place! It's cozy and the people are very friendly. The food is excellent--it was my first time at Korean BBQ and they were very kind about explaining the process. The sauces are delicious and the cuts of meat were very high quality. We had a great time and I'll definitely come back!

Yelp
Been to every K -BBQ in convoy except this one . Tucked away in a plaza looks small from outside but is good size..single menu price ..what is nice about this place is it is self serve ..there are over 16+ meats/seafood with some premium items like wagyu and beef tongue. Self service drinks as well. Good quality meats... hoods are large here so you don't get smoked out too much ..reasonable price . This is definitely a recommend !
