"Although located away from the tourist heart of the city, Jerár is winning new fans thanks to the cuisine on offer here. In this spacious and informal restaurant with a kitchen that opens out on to the dining room, chef Charis Nikolouzos showcases internationally inspired cooking that combines Greek roots (thanks to his connections with small-scale producers who supply him with his fresh ingredients) and French and Italian culinary detail. On the à la carte, featuring abundant dishes made for sharing, we particularly liked the Cacio e Pepe with “Mikrolimano Shrimp”." - Michelin Inspector

Was there on new year eve. Loved the service, food, and attention to details. Very polite and hard working team. They knew the menu and explained each item in detail. We put in a request when we booked and it was addressed and double checked with us. Great wine selection. Definitely would recommend.

Visited for dinner. The staff was very friendly and everything was well organised. We tried the bread with olive oil and butter, which was excellent. Actually one of the top 5 breads I’ve tried in restaurants of this level. The fish roe spread (ταραμάς) was excellent as well. The spinach pie salad, which was basically a deconstructed spinach pie was aromatic and full of flavours. I would definitely recommend this to Greeks who want to be reminded of their childhood or tourists who want to understand what summer in the Greek countryside is like. The vitello tonnato was great, but to be honest I expected something more. The cacio e Pepe with shrimps was a great and very creative combination. The cream is rather rich, so make sure it matches your taste if you order it. The John Dory / Peter fish (χριστόψαρο) was perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavors. The Crêpes Suzette were the perfect dessert. It’s important to mention that the toilet was squeaky clean and there were special facilities for persons with disabilities.

Spacious and informal dining experience with open kitchen view! Must have was the Cacio e pepe with “Microlimano Shrimp”. The Kakavia fish of the day was also great (pic below) and Vitelo tonato with tuna tartar as a starter was so delicious!! Would go back to try rest of the dishes! 50Eur+ per person especially with a bottle of wine, so totally worth it! The only thing I would like different would be the ambience that was very chill relaxed, would like some more vibe and different music. Overall totally recommending it!

Superb restaurant, great and lovely service, friendly and paying attention to every detail. We took the 6 dishes according to chef decision. The onion soup is amazing The tartar is the best you ever eat. The pate is not so great And tuna souce a little bit too salty Overall, great restaurant Hopefully we can visit again

Restaurant Jerár in Athens offers an outstanding dining experience, with creative dishes that highlight exceptional ingredients and meticulous preparation. The pâté en croûte is a standout—expertly crafted with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The okra kimchi was truly mind-blowing, bringing a unique twist to a classic with just the right level of spice. Their bread, made from six-month-matured yeast, is perhaps the most original offering, with a depth of flavor and texture that sets it apart. The crêpes Suzette, served with rich vanilla ice cream, orange confit, and caramelized cashews, make for a fantastic, indulgent dessert. Service is attentive and warm, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to adjust the music to a more ethnic or lounge style, which could better match the ambiance and elevate the dining experience further. Well deserved the Michelin star for this little gem 💎🔝🙏 .

The place is very nice modern with open kitchen. The service was very good and very polite. Although we sad far away from the kitchen we could smell food cooking that was a bit let down. The food was good innovative but a bit unbalanced for the starters. Too many cold cuts. The main dish were tasty but the price was very expensive for the portions of the main ingredients. The Tiramisu was brilliant. I think it tries a bit too much to be innovative and price wise it is not that great.
