Here’s Where to Spend 36 Food and Wine-Filled Hours in Lodi | Eater SF

"I appreciate Jeremy Trettevik’s breadth of knowledge, honed over about 20 years in the wine industry, reflected in fun, delicious Italian red varietals and zins; the Jeremiah’s Jug program lets customers buy a 1-liter jug and fill it with Jeremy’s rotating blends (he's on blend number 38 and has never repeated one). You can experience Jeremy wines in the downtown tasting room with a spacious, dog-friendly patio (open daily noon–5 p.m.) or in the country barrel room in Lockeford with snacks like cheese and charcuterie, and the Sweetheart collection signals sweeter blends such as a chocolate port–style dessert wine." - Laura Smith Borrman

My sister and I stopped in about half an hour before closing on Wednesday, 7/30, for a tasting. Wow wow wow! She had been to the winery and loved one of their zins; I was a Jeremy newbie. Everything was fantastic: the wine, the service, the low-key ambience (a person was chilling there enjoying a glass and hanging with her dog), did I say the service? Nathan was our tasting room server and he was attentive, friendly, and upbeat. There was another lovely person there whose name I have misplaced (so sorry!) who came out a bit later and helped us as well. We were so well taken care of and truly, the wine is outstanding. Highly recommend when you are visiting Lodi.

Our visit to Jeremy Wine Co. was a waste of time and money. We bought a bottle of port and were told we could come back inside for refills — no mention of any limit. Then, halfway through, they suddenly refused to serve us more, despite us being totally sober and respectful. If there were rules, they never communicated them — and clearly made them up as they went. Worse, not a single staff member bothered to check on us outside for our purchased alcohol bottle the entire time we sat there. No hospitality. They were happy to take our money, but clearly had no interest in providing even the most basic level of service after that. This place treats paying customers like an inconvenience. Don’t waste your time — there are plenty of better wineries in Lodi that won’t pull this bait-and-switch nonsense.

Really enjoyed our tasting here. The people were fun! Their jug wine was really good. We also purchased the Bluebonnet and their Aglianico. They're on my list to visit again.

Top notch - excellent reviews on Yelp! Great wines! Centrally located in the downtown area of Lodi makes it convenient to just drop in. Book ahead if going on a group outing, it can fill up fast. Sorry, didn't get pics of the beautiful court yard setting here. Cool concept here - get the jug!

Stopped in at the lickeford location was quite impressed with the building and estetics very nice and open was a Sunday wasn’t very busy had a set up to wine taste most of the wines are at Lodi location as well wines are always good. Unfortunately the service wasn’t good we waited quite awhile between the tastings we asked if they had any cheese crackers or a charquitere board we were told and directed to a small cooler with cheese and snacks and a place where crackers cookies & potato chips were $8.00 fora 8oz bag $6.00 for small bag of cookies everything way overpriced other wineries bring u a charcuterie board or what ever u like. We’re avid wine taster and belong to a few wine clubs . I’m amazed as much as the wine industry is suffering from sales on wine due to the generation gap baby boomers etc. the younger generation not drinking wine we bought 2 bottles of wine and was forced to give a 18% tip. Unfortunately we won’t be back at this location was more about the service here
