Alexandria was fabulous!! We haven’t always had the best experience at different brunch places in Tallahassee and today exceeded our expectations!! We sat outside on the patio and it was such a pleasant experience. Our server, Alexandria, was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was great, we tried the seasonal special, the Fall Yall Bowl, and the Tab. Both were great. We had a wonderful time and will be back again!! Thank you!!

Google
This has always been a staple restaurant for me here in Tallahassee. The food is fresh, creative and always has great specials. Alexandria was very attentive, personal with the guests and went out of her way to help coworkers. I would ask for Alexandria’s section, get some amazing coffee and chow down on some great food!

After attending the Taste in the Garden event in Tallahassee and loving Jeri’s grits, we decided to visit the restaurant. We were seated right away, which was great, and the staff was generally polite. We came on a Saturday morning, so I expected a normal brunch rush — but that wasn’t the case. The restaurant wasn’t full, yet it took over 10 minutes just to get a lemonade and over 40 minutes after being seated, we were still waiting on our food. I noticed other tables around us also waiting, so it seemed like the kitchen got backed up and no one was communicating that to customers. Being seated for over 40 minutes without food is frustrating. If I’d known breakfast wouldn’t arrive until noon, I would’ve gone somewhere else. With that being said, the food was amazing — exactly why we wanted to come in the first place. I’ll definitely be back, but maybe not on a weekend.

Google
Had such a great experience just like at the other Jeri’s in midtown. I ordered the Cuban with collard greens and it was fantastic! The pimento cheese is such a compliment to the meal. They serve breakfast all day! I’ll definitely be back!

Google
Brock, our waiter took care of us as first time diners. Ritz crackers and pimento cheese is offered complementary. Smoky and the grits were by far our favorite dish. My wife loved her decaf mocha. We look forward to our return visit and trying some of the unique looking dishes they serve. We’ve returned several times and this time I had The “TAB” with honeymoon style bacon and the Hoppin John Salad. The “TAB” was great but I’ll pass on the salad next time. It lacked spice and flavor.

Decided to give a new place a try since we were in the area. My fault for not checking the hours first, but it never crossed my mind a breakfast place would not open until 9am on a Saturday. Anyway, we waited the 10 minutes for them to open and were the first two in and seated. A four top came in behind us and and were seated. We sat and waited for service. The four top got greeted, got service and crackers brought. By this time no one has even acknowledged us so we decided to leave. I explained we were leaving because we had not even been greeted and should have been first waited on. The manager said the waiter was "checking his station" before he came to us... what was he checking? The place was essentially empty. My other half had watched him eating/ drinking something before we knew he was supposed to be our waiter. So he has time for that, but not to greet us. Not a good first impression. Can't comment on the food, didn't get to try it.

Brunch on Fridays aren’t too busy- walked in without a wait for two! The food was great, the cuban and french ghost were both amazing! But the highlight was the service. I will ALWAYS be asking for Grant. He kept us laughing and our drinks full. What a nice young lad. I will be coming back.

Google
One of my favorite breakfast places in Tallahassee. The food and service is always astronomical and Ally made our experience a lot better. She was very helpful and explained everything and went out of her way to serve us. Would recommend to anyone and any group!

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday before an FSU game day and sat outside. All of the food was delicious and it was nice that they had a lot of gluten free options. Our favorite thing was the steak sandwich dipped in au jus (not gluten free). They have a wide variety of beverages as far as coffees and non alcoholic drinks go. The red sangria was really good for an alcoholic option. The staff were really friendly and we'd definitely like to come back!

Yelp
The food deserves 4 stars maybe 5 but thanks to the rude hostess I'm only giving it 1 star. We were there for parents weekend and we went for brunch here, the place was cute and the food was good, our waitress was good too but! The hostes!!! I think her name was sally or sandy ? Something with an S, she's really skinny brown skin and with curly brunette hair. My aunt stopped her to asked her how was their Nutella dessert and she! Answered her "'I'm Not a server! I don't know anything about the menu " with attitude !!! Like if my aunt had offended her by asking a simple question! Excuse me !!!! Didn't anyone tell her that the hostess job is to help the servers!!! And if someone askes you something about the menu you should give a good answer since that's your job!!!! But instead she gave her attitude and wave her hand while saying " I'm not server idk!"' It's her job to know !!!! Who does she think she is to talk to people Like that ?? Not to mention she just kept walking in circles not seating anyone until a blonde girl came told her something and she went to clean tables and finally sat down 3 parties that were waiting forever! Apparently she doesn't even know how to be a hostess ! Either ! It's ridiculous her answer and her attitude! Fire this useless girl!!! The fact that she thinks she doesn't have to answer to customers cuz she's not a server is disgusting! I'm sure there are many other students that could use the part time job and will do a better job than her useless self

Yelp
We dined with a large group of friends. First seating option was in the sun outside and it's already hot here in April. Large table inside was much better although the chair was uncomfortable for this big guy. Our drinks were brought quickly as well as plates of their lagniappe of pimento cheese and Ritz crackers. Our food orders were taken quickly too. Took a good amount of time to get our food and I don't think anyone was impressed with the flavor. I got neither a smoky taste nor a sausage taste from the sausage in my omelette. The Gruyère cheese was bland. Smoked Gouda grits needed salt and were not much for flavor either. Wife's French toast was ok and the bacon was rather plain for flavor. Service was excellent and the food came out pretty quick once it got done so it was still warm. It is loud inside when it is busy. Concrete floors and open ceiling guarantees plenty of echo. This is another $15-$20/person breakfast place to choose from and, for me, I would choose one of my favorites in the future. Glad I tried it because lots of people love the place but it's not for me.

Yelp
First time dining here and was happy they were open the day after Christmas. Most of the other local spots were closed. We were seated promptly, but the place was cold inside, both in temperature and ambiance. Lots of metal furniture, high ceilings, and commercial lighting make for an industrial vibe. The food was so so in our opinion. My wife's frittata was burnt - see the charred edges and bottom in the photo. My omelet wasn't bad though and I liked the dill Havarti. I think the Gouda grits were the standout item for us. Those are worth ordering.

Sarah L.

Yelp
Always a good meal here! It's very particular but I never have complaints and often crave it. Service can be a little slow, but it's a busy spot.

Andres G.

Yelp
Excellent brunch spot. Food is really good and the servers are great. Service did take a bit long but still a 10/10.
google avatar

Alison M.

Yelp
So we tried the "Jeri's at night" dinner. A once per month thing so be on the look out. A piano player & table clothes evaluated the atmosphere. I think the menu was totally different! We tried the roasted chicken, the shrimp & grits, the tuna appetizer and the lemon cake. All wonderful and the tuna appetizer is a must try when offered. We'll be back

Yelp
Everyone in our party enjoyed their breakfast. The mimosas with watermelon juice were delicious! The crackers and pimento cheese plate upon our arrival was so nice. Our waitress was attentive and a sweetheart. Loved the artwork displayed as well. Recommend 10/10 to go here!
google avatar

Isabella V.

Yelp
The food options were fabulous and the food was truly delicious! I loved the uniqueness of their complimentary cheese & crackers. The service was great, but not outstanding but not too many complaints on that end. I really loved the overall design and colors of the environment and location. Walking in there I knew brunch was about to be good and relaxing which it was! I really want to go back and try different plates

Yelp
Had planned to visit a different restaurant, but spotted this place from across the street. I was familiar with this restaurant when it was located on Thomasville Rd and was not disappointed. We got started with the pimento cheese dip and crackers. I ordered shrimp and gouda grits and a side Greek salad; my husband ordered the Dude (N.Y. strip with pesto, cheese, on a baguette) along with potatoes. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.

Yelp
Went for Sunday Brunch and Really liked the variety on the menu. Generous portions and service was not too fast and not to slow ...just right. I had the Frittata Sampler and highly recommend it. Next time I think I will try the Chef French Toast. See you there.

Yelp
Oh, the irony! Yelp had suggested for me to check out this place. I checked their restaurant's website and it ends up being the second location of Jeri's. I had gone to the original many times and enjoyed their food, but I often found myself finding their selection limited as I'm not much of a sandwich person, so finding something to eat for brunch has been a tad challenging. They had maybe two or three brunch plates and that's that. Well, as it turns out, Jeri opened up a second location and the menu for this restaurant is huge. You have breakfast, you have lunch, you have drinks and dessert. There's certainly something to feed to even the pickiest of eaters. Not to mention... AVOCADO TOAST. /swoon Needless to say, I was dying to go as soon as I saw they had avocado toast, which is usually my favorite thing to eat for brunch when I go out. I tell this to my companion, and well, a friend messages that she's going there with another friend. We wound up joining and it was a happy foursome who munched away at Jeri's. Now this location is much larger, sharing free parking with other stores, and having lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside and were fortunate we weren't rained on as the skies were gray. We had a frappe, a Coke, and some mixed berry mimosas for drinks. For food, there were sandwiches, shrimp and grits, and you guessed it - avocado toast (plus Nutella bread pudding that was tasty but that I admittedly only took a bite of). The portions for all these entrees were hearty and no one left hungry. My avocado toast with its accompanying potatoes was pretty good. Pretty good, as I've had better, but for Tallahassee, it's excellent. Definitely my favorite location of this now chain. Can't wait to return and try more of their varied menu!

Yelp
The kids had great French toast and my husband's waffle sandwich was very good. The avocado toast was probably the worst I've ever had. I'm very sure it was made with a premade guac, hidden under the eggs. The three tiny avocado slices on top looked like it was likely previously frozen and covered with a very serious dusting of smoked paprika to hide it. Got a side of potato's that also seemed premade and air fried. Not worth 16 bucks.

Yelp
Cole was so attentive and engaged. He has a positive attitude and he sprinkled some love into every order. What an upstanding citizen! Thank you Cole, we had the best brunch of our lives. You're incredible, keep it up. Also, the music was fire, highly recommend. They played Latch. One more round of applause for Cole.
google avatar

Louis B.

Yelp
I thought the menu was very nice to look at and consider some of the items of ingredients listed or just wonderful in my thoughts and there are a few times two times it's not been up to snuff when you market yourself the way they do and charge the prices they do you gotta be on your game every time am I supposed to say whoops I don't wanna pay this time cause it wasn't good. Also, a very nice ambience. Outdoor seating was wonderful. I'm sure it's nicer in November than it is in July but I thought it was nice. Service was good. Waitresses were pleasant and they handled their business well
google avatar

Gladys L.

Yelp
So delicious. It was more or less a spontaneous idea and did not disappoint. Tons of outdoor seatings. Inside atmosphere is ok, not cozy really, but the food makes up for it. Fast and friendly service. And big plus: gluten sensitive option's.

Joe S.

Yelp
There was a server named Cole who was really kind and even paid attention to my "one piece of bacon" request. He suggested great alternatives to missing items. The music was great.

Yelp
I enjoyed my first visit here with a girlfriend on a Friday afternoon. I always enjoy the OG Jeri's so I was happy to check out her latest establishment. I had the French toast and it was quite tasty. My friend had a bowl which was huge and she very much enjoyed. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful! So personable, attentive and gracious. I wish I could remember his name. :( I tried the Berry Lemonade which was too tart for my liking. Then the mint tea, a lot milder. Not terribly sweet. It was OK. I'll definitely return! There are so many things I'd like to try. No pictures, because I was enjoying the food/company so much. The venue is lovely, well lit and brightly colored. Quaint on the inside, spacious on the outside. There's a huge parking lot but parking can be a premium on busy weekends. If it's a Gameday Saturday or graduation weekend, I'd call ahead.

Yelp
The food is amazing and there's so many great options! I loved the chicken salad sandwich and the collard green soup is delicious!

Yelp
I am so glad that Jeri opened a breakfast and lunch place at Market Square. I've already been there for breakfast and lunch and both meals were excellent. The host stand is just outside the door and they offer seating inside, tables as well as at the counter, and outside. A new, large awning is being installed outside which will create a beautiful patio dining experience. They bring a small plate of pimiento cheese and ritz crackers after you are seated, which is a wonderfully nice touch. For breakfast I had the Kenny Benny: eggs Benedict on rolls with bacon and tomato. It comes with a choice of side and they have a large selection to choose from. Personally, the Gouda grits with apple butter (served on the side) is outstanding. As was the Benedict. Later in the week I went for lunch and had the Kev: artichoke hearts, tomato, peppers, pesto, choice of cheese (I had Brie) on a baguette. I added some pulled chicken. The sandwich was outstanding. It also comes with a side and I decided another bowl of Gouda grits with apple butter would be perfect. And it was. Jeri's is a great addition to the near north side, and I look forward to many more meals.

Jacob L.

Yelp
Food and service was amazing. Popped in for quick lunch at the bar and was in and out! Tallahassee staple must try!

Tracy W.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat. I love the food, especially the pimento cheese. The service is wonderful.

Yelp
The environment is adorable! There's outside and inside seating options. A group of us joined here for Galentine's day brunch (breakfast is served all day!!) Not sure if they have this year round, but their decor was perfect and sweet for the occasion. Our server was super pleasant and attentive! We all ordered a wide variety on the menu. I ordered the shrimp and grits (minus the shrimp since I'm vegetarian). They were very accommodating to substituting mushrooms for me, which I'm very grateful for. The taste wasn't as I expected, nothing Cajun about it so I just was a little disappointed. In addition, I feel like my bill could've been reduced since I didn't have shrimp. As I understand, seafood in general is plays a big part for the increased in menu price. Overall, it's an adorable place for casual and simple food.
google avatar

Rob L.

Yelp
Love this place for lunch! Great sandwiches, salads and soups. Clean with friendly attentive staff. Indoor and covered outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Reasonably priced. Go!
google avatar

Andrew A.

Yelp
Grossly overpriced for a mediocre meal. $4 up charge to add "thick cut" bacon which was 3 pieces Waffle House bacon. $14 for the French toast which including nothing but French toast that wasn't anything better than buffet- thin style French toast. Out of the 5 us that ordered, we all had the same sentiment for what we were served.

Marcelete T.

Yelp
My mom and I stopped into Jeri's at MP for brunch. My mother ordered the omelette with potatoes and I ordered the omelette with Gouda grits. Oh My What Goodness‼ I did NOT expect the omelette to be so freakin good. This is my new go to. I LOVE all things Tally when it comes to supporting our local restaurants but some think it's ok to serve you quickly and put anything before you. Not at Jeri's. I found out the cook's name is Shaun. Hats off to him. When we arrived there were about 4 parties ahead of us. We were seated inside within 5 minutes. Our waitress was Leslie and she gets 5 stars. She was very personable and attentive. The restaurant was full but it was not noisy. I don't like feeling as if I'm yelling at the person(s) that I am having a meal with. There is also seating available outside. There are two(2) restrooms and they were clean. See you soon Jeri's. Oh and they serve a complimentary serving of pimento cheese that is really good. I left full and happy.

Yelp
Jeri has opened a new spot in the busy Market Place area. I've been a fan of her original spot, so I'm glad that she's found a new, bigger location. The menu seems to be the same, which is good. I ordered the Jill Bird, a croissant sandwich with chicken salad, salami, muscadine jelly. It's a weird combination that is delicious! I've had multiple items on the menu and everything is delicious!

Candace H.

Yelp
Food was good How ever the Service is Extremely Slow. Took 15 mins to bring my first drink out. Then there to go boxes are round tin with paper cover that you have to fold over. To me for the price they charge for there food, they could have better to go Boxes. If you have over an hour to spare then try them out. But if you're on a time frame do not expect to get in and get out . Also they should have some fan for the outside seating area as the flies are bad.

Sonja C.

Yelp
We visited this place for brunch...despite the place not being crowded food was not hot. It was ok but would have been great if the fresh toast had been warm enough to at least melt the butter...I'm just saying. Otherwise the service was good...waiter/waitress even took a few dollars of bill which was certainly appreciated.

Tony K.

Yelp
Want here over First Watch based on the reviews and I was very dissatisfied. Was sat immediately and was one of maybe 3 tables at the time. Took almost 5 minutes for my server to come take me drink order. I ordered a coffee and an OJ and was brought an OJ and water. I assumed they were brewing the coffee and waited another 7 minutes and still no coffee and no sign of my server. Had to ask another server for it. Ordered an omelet with cheese, mushrooms and ham and received an omelet with onions, tomatoes and other stuff. Ordered the potatoes as my side and unfortunately had to send them back because they had red peppers in them and I cannot eat peppers. All in all not a good experience but I will say the omelet was very good once I got the right one
google avatar

Sara G.

Yelp
I would probably give 3.5 stars if I could choose that. The food was tasty. The portions were perfectly sized for one meal. There's not going to be leftovers. Family establishment with a relaxing vibe. I had the Kenny Benny. It was good enough. It was served at room temperature. The house-made Hollandaise was unremarkable. I'm a big hollandaise fan but I didn't pick up on any hollandaise flavor, though the sauce was visibly present and not missing from the dish. The poached eggs were the most neatly poached I think I've ever seen. Very tidy presentation. I did appreciate the fresh micro-greens. The dish is described as served on Sister Schubert rolls and I'm kind of thinking it was one Sister Schubert roll that was halved/split. It is a compact dish. I ordered the breakfast potatoes for the side and they were on the greasy side (a la Waffle House), but still tasty. Perfectly portioned for 1 person. My companion got Paige's Pimento Press with the Lobster Bisque soup which served kind of as a dipping sauce for the sandwich. She was highly complimentary of the sandwich and a real fan of the bisque. I tried the bisque and it was not hot to me, but it was very tasty. I got a couple bites of the sandwich & I thought it was really good. It's a very slim profile sandwich. It's described as served on a "Tribeca Demi baguette", which I'm gonna guess translates to a "very skinny sandwich". lol The food was good. We ate it all. It's not too much food. But I wouldn't describe it as a rare or special treat. I had the cold brew, which was delicious and served over ice on a cold day. If I'd realized ahead of time that they served it over ice, I would have requested it without the ice (I know it's cold brew, but cold brew is cold enough for me without the ice). Especially on a chilly day. Cream came to the table in a VERY cute tiny cream milk bottle, a detail which I really loved. Overall, good food. Don't plan on leftovers. Try the lobster bisque and a crusty sandwich. If you really love Hollandaise, order that somewhere else. Reasonably priced for the inflationary era that we're living in. I think if they could serve the food warmer, that would improve my impression. Maybe because it was a chilly day, the food got cold fast. Who knows? Service was fine and very competent. Nothing wrong with it. Nothing overly friendly, attentive or special about it. We didn't wait a long time for our meal, I didn't think. It was a fine, pleasant dining experience. But if I wanted a special dining experience or meal, I wouldn't make this my choice.

Yelp
Variety of great food and drink options. Good for brunch. Cost is relatively decent. Indoor and outdoor seating options.

Joshua G.

Yelp
Great food and fairly fast service! We enjoyed our experience. Very busy location so be prepared to wait on a table!

Ann G.

Yelp
Food, service wonderful delightful and will be back after i am feeling better since covid

Glauco V.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the staff is very friendly. Will be one of my Tallahassee go to spots from now on!

Yelp
like the food, good ambiance and service. Will probably go again to try the brunch menu.

Yelp
The food is amazing, the staff is awesome! So glad they have opened a second location. Love the huge outdoor covered patio! Plus Jeri the owner and Hope the manager are amazing.
google avatar

Mafe B.

Yelp
This is the place to be for brunch. When the weather is perfect, outside seating is my preference! Food was delicious but service was a tad slower than normal. I'm sure the next time I'm there, our table will get better attention.
google avatar

Eduardo G.

Yelp
Heard this place was good, guess I came on a bad day bc it was terrible. Service was ok, Our food took forever to get and when it came it was cold, they took it back to make a new one and it was the same one reheated. Just added more potato's. I was not impressed so won't be back.

Faith H.

Yelp
On a summer Sunday, we sat on the covered patio and the temperature was great! Loved my brunch waffle sandwich with ham, egg and muscadine jam
google avatar

Pete A.

Yelp
Food, service and cleanliness all above average. Good home cooking that is better than any chain. As a side to my fantastic chicken salad sandwich I had homemade pickled beets, and they stole the show. Support local businesses!
google avatar

Kacie J.

Yelp
Great service. Delicious food. Great environment. Love the shrimp and grits. Must try this local restaurant!

Joy F.

Yelp
The food at this cafe is creative, well priced and flavorful. The staff is considerate, well trained and friendly. Visit if you're in Tally. You won't be disappointed.

Candace C.

Yelp
I really want to leave a 5-star review, and maybe one day I'll come back and change this rating. Let me start by saying the food was delicious! I had their take on a French dip sandwich and it was spectacular. Service was great, very attentive and despite it being busy, we received our items in a timely fashion. The reason for my two start review is the seating arrangements. We had three people today and the hostess wanted to seat us at a two top with a third chair on the side. This would have worked except they wanted to seat us next to a party of nine, where we would have blocked the main walkway on the patio. We then asked about a three top table (and after being seated there), we were told it was "reserved" for a reservation. When a two top sat there 20 minutes after, we were pretty irritated that the other two tops (who remained open during our entire dining experience) could have been utilized for that party and we could have sat at a table where I didn't have someone bumping into me or tripping over my chair the whole meal. The real kicker was explaining to the hostesses that we did not want to sit at either of the two tops they suggested because one of us would be sitting in the way. Not only is this a trip and fall risk for servers and staff, trays of hot food could be dumped as people try to maneuver through impossibly tight spaces. When I started getting an attitude from the girls at the counter, I explained that as a former restaurant manager, I don't feel comfortable putting myself or my two friends in that position. We were happy to wait for another table more suitable for three people, but we were not going to block the walkways for staff and guests. I didn't appreciate hearing them talk about us while standing near the hostess stand, but I'll chalk it up to a mix of immaturity and poor training. There is a reason groups like Darden have rules about "food lanes" and extra seats, I've seen one too many lawsuits from trays of food/drinks being dropped on customers. Hope ownership takes the time to train their seating staff and minimize exposure to risk. Better safe than sorry, but I don't want to be the example when I am out for brunch with friends.

Yelp
This is the second location for this wonderful local restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch. Plenty of outdoor seating, wonderful service, and a unique and delicious menu selection. In fact, I meant to take a picture of my food but ate it too quickly.

Ashleigh I.

Yelp
Went during Sunday brunch which was crowded. Food and service were both great. Sangria was excellent.

Victoria O.

Yelp
I drove 400 miles back to tallahassee just to have a granny smith and brie and amazing customer service... I LOVE JERIS !

Audra H.

Yelp
Jeri's Market St. has really taken the breakfast game by storm on north side Tallahassee! Sure, there's First Watch, but you can't beat the service you get at Jeri's. You also can't beat the consistency that Jeri's offers. Every time you go, you can guarantee yourself a good meal, and a staff that will work with you to make that happen if needed. The bright colors and large windows just make me happy. Also, the weather lately makes it SO enjoyable to sit on the patio under the awning. With their friendly staff and delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch options, you can't beat it! Make sure you give this place a shot, you will be going back to try something you saw that you didn't get your last visit! Nice job on the second location.

Eileen T.

Yelp
This restaurant has such potential. The outside area is a very nice. Inside can get crowded and loud. I had an egg breakfast the last two visits and both times the food (eggs, hashbrown, toast) was very greasy. Service definitely could improve. This restaurant is new and has big shoes to fill compared to the previous establishment, but hopefully it will get there.
