The Best Restaurants and Bars at the Mall of America | Eater Twin Cities

"A departure from the typical food court options, this casual, Canadian counter-service chain serves Caribbean cuisine specialties like oxtail with red beans and rice, tender and spicy jerk chicken, and even roti." - Justine Jones

We confirmed with employees and they told us that chicken items are halal. We tried their chicken sandwich and it was amazing. The chicken inside the sandwich had legit spices and it was very tasty. Not bland at all. Dave’s hot chicken does not hold a candle to this chicken. The portion sizes were generous as well. Staff were friendly.

We had 2 orders of the boneless chicken jerk chicken plates with rice n peas and veggies. I also ordered the oxtail plate with rice n peas and chick peas. Being half jamaican, we loved it and reminded me of my grandma's cooking. We only here for a soccer tournament from southern cali but we definitely would return.

I've eaten here more times than I can count. 😋 Even introduced my sister to them. She can't get enough. My absolute favorite place to eat at the Mall of America. Staff are always friendly. Food is always yummy and well seasoned!! Portions are great for the price. My Go-To are the jerk chicken thighs (bone-in) and red beans & rice. My sister loves the oxtails. Highly recommended

I've been on the hunt for a good oxtail plate. The portion was generous. The oxtail was tender and good gravy sauce. I'm big on spicy so the hot sauce was a hit in my book. My son ordered the jerk wrap. He actually was impressed with the spice heat level it was. We eat a lot of spicy food so we're not easily impressed. But he compared it to the Thai/Lao papaya salad spicy level (if you ever tried it, you know what I mean). All well worth the money spent. Yum!

They never miss. This is the most authentic well made Jerk in the Twin Cities and it is very reasonably priced. Blessed hands bless people. You will not be disappointed if you give this place a try

I got the Jerk Chicken Plater with rice and corn. The corn was plain but goes well if you mix rice, corn and bits of chicken. Every bit was delicious.

Good food at a good price. I got 1 chicken and 1 beef patties and rice for $12.50. I should have got 1 meat pattie because the spicy built up too much for me to handle after 1. The rice with the beef oxtail sauce on it is the best thing. I took off 1 star because my rice had several chunks of bone on top of it from the sauce. I wish they would have strained the bones out of the sauce before serving it.
