If you are looking for some AUTHENTIC flavorful Jamaican food. This is the SPOT! I ordered some oxtails, jerk chicken, cabbage, plantains with rice and peas. I was not disappointed. The oxtail was flavorful and falling off the bone. I also loved the jerk sauce they had on the chicken. Most importantly, the portion is hefty! The food reminded me of home. I will DEFINITELY return!

The food was great but the cashier is very slow. She was the only one on the counter and it took forever. I had the curry chicken, rice and peas with steamed vegetables. I gave it four stars because it was very slow.

Wow. It's official! From around the end of summer the have changed cooks. Went from 100 to 0. And Uber eats never worked. I tried them 4x after I tasted the "new cooking" and it it's consistently unflavorful and not tasty like it used to be. The owner was the cook and was personable when you caught him not cooking and lurking around. I used to find myself here at least 2-3x/wk ordering a lot of food for the family. Not even the soup is worth making that long trip now. Nothing left to say besides Smokehouse is pretty much the last good Jamaican spot in that area. If I'm wrong please let me know of some other spots.

My friend told me about the cow foot soup on Thursday and everyone have different taste but I promise u that soup was very very good and more

The food is so damn good here! The curry goat meat falls off the bone, the oxtail is savory and delicious and I could go on but you catch my drift. The serving size is great as well. Definitely worth the money. Edit: the review was from 3+ years ago. I’m sorry but the food doesn’t taste good anymore. I’ve given it a couple of chances lately, and it’s just consistently not good. I’ll stick to the smokehouse and Golden Krust on 230th in Laurelton.

This was my second time there and I’m not going back. The first was just for some porridge and I was in and out. Porridge was ok. My second visit I got the stew chicken and the first thing I was greeted with was a lot of attitude because I asked where the menu was. They have two big tv screens but they are not on with the menu instead they write it on a barely visible book sized mark board. I got stew chicken with white rice which honestly is one of the easiest things to make as a Jamaican. After I started eating I noticed a strange taste at the first bite. It was very off putting. I pulled the chicken apart to find out it was raw. The rice tasted like it was old and not washed. As a Jamaican I gotta say this was the worst tasting Jamaican takeout I’ve ever had.

Tried to come here. I reach at 8:17 place says its closed 9. Its 8:17 and already closed.

Probably one of the most unsanitary places I have ever eaten ,. I even went to the back house and saw a big heavy set guy cooking with No protection equipment on ! Dropping sweating into the food and creating cross contamination everywhere . The kitchen smelt like sewage . They don't seem to adhere to basic US heath codes , and safe food handling . Food is over cooked and overpriced . Avoid at all cost

Love their oxtail! Never had any issues. Their old location closed and they moved to 200-08 Linden Blvd with the name Chances.

I use to come here to get oxtails and jerk chicken. They have the best oxtail and jerk chicken. Came two weeks ago and they are closed. It looks like they are out of business. What a shame.

Whenever I am craving for a Smokey, juicy, slightly spicy flavored jerk pork, this is the place that I go to. This is a tiny place that offers Jamaican foods which includes Jerk pork, jerk chicken, salt fish, ackee, liver, pumpkin soup, beef patty, chicken patty, rice and peas, curry chicken, curry goat, oxtail and a lot more. Mainly a take out place. Today, I came here to buy "Jerk pork only" as I already have rice at home. It can be bought for a quarter of a pound, half pound or one pound. Half pound will cost about $11.00 +. They offer a variety of sauce but what I mainly like is the spicy orange sauce (Jamaican hot chili pepper) and the red sauce which is slightly on the sweeter side. The price per portions are reasonable. Everything the I have tried here before was delicious, flavorful/not too strong and always the right seasoning and taste. You will always be warmly greeted by the very nice lady on the counter, service is fast and quick. Give it a try.

I come to this spot 2, maybe 3 times a week. It's close by so I come often to grab my Stew Chicken, white rice, and cabbage. They haven't failed me yet. The food is always hot and fresh and the place is very clean. I like how they keep the food covered behind the glass. There are high top counters with chairs along the windows but mostly everyone orders to take-out. There are a lot of food options, even though I stick to my Stew Chicken. Each and every time I had a friend with me, he or she enjoyed the meal....Shrimp, Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork. I did have the Fried Chicken before and it was good. The prices/portions are good as well. The mini/small Stew Chicken is $6 and the medium is $8. As for staff, one lady is much nicer and friendlier than the other but they both give the same healthy portion so as long as my tummy is satisfied, I can deal. They are also closed on Sundays. I found out the hard way.

First time ordering and got curry goat with rice and peas. Oxtail gravy on the rice and it was delish!!!! Great portion size and the seasoning was tasty I would definitely order from here again. Also, got a side of jerk pork it was so delicious

Restaurant food is just as delicious as the food from their Food truck in Midtown. Their curry shrimp is the best I've ever had from a local restaurant. You'll also enjoy their fish.

Food is flavorful but mild. If you like it spicy make sure you make that request. Definitely ordering again!

Began making the same mistake, quality of food is going down, they leave food open and it's cold when you get it.

Jerk Pan is an okay place to get a bite to eat. Reasonable prices and they give a good amount of food according to thier prices. Best time to go get food is usually around 2-5pm where food is hot and fresh. Reason I give it a 3 out of 5 stars is because the rice was undercooked had a very mushy texture. The female at the counter was TRASH because of her demeanor!!! Whenever I go to Jamaican own establishments I usually greet everyone there because some people can be very pissy if you don't say hello especially when entering their establishment. However the lady at the counter was too busy on her phone watching whatever she was watching. I didn't pay it any mind, just smiled and ordered my food. I ordered a curry goat meal with cabbage and "mushy" rice if you want plantains it's $0.50 a slice (first time I ever heard of that so I just left it there). A medium plate will run you $9 which isn't bad. The curry goat itself was good but everything else was subpar. As I said if your looking for a quick bite to eat then sure but if your looking for a grand ole experience and flavorful Jamaican food I suggest you go elsewhere.

Small place not a large selection of food but staff is nice and usually no line. This is my go to spot if the other Jamaican take out places are crowded. Never been disappointed taste wise just not a large variety of menu choices.

I love Jerk Pan's food. I haven't been to the location in Queens as of yet. However, I work in the NYC and I go to the truck on the corner of 56th Street and 3rd Avenue. I recommend you check them out. The food is SLAMMING!! Fresh, delicious and you can't go wrong with any of the choices that you make. Wishing you continued success. I come here almost everyday for their lunch menu . It's awesome and it's real food . I love they way everything is fresh and they give you so much food .. they have a lunch menu that include curry chicken, curry shrimp . Fired chicken ($1) piece .. oxtail .. jerk chicken jerk pork I mean there's so much to offer . I love the fish and the fried chicken

Love their food, my to go to when I don't have enough time to cook. The staff is moderately friendly. The location is a bit small but convenient and close to public transportation.

This place from when they first open went down hill . I call to order over the phone they say we don't have and hang up on you. I go inside on another occasion served with attitude , ask for something it's a problem they kissing there teeth. Yea I'm good I'll be going to smoke house instead

Such friendly service and very clean restaurant. My hubby and I like the food here best compared to the other Caribbean food spots in the area. We're so happy we don't live far from here. Will definitely be our go - to spot for oxtail and jerk chicken.

I was searching for Jamaican food today and I stopped here. The place is clean, staff is very nice and the food is great. My son and I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas and let me tell you that it was very good. I'm waiting for my daughter and mom to taste the stew chicken and I will let you guys know about it.

Ok, I just finished my mini jerk chicken with rice n peas with oxtail gravy. The food at jerk pan is average based on what I just had. There was no wow factor. The restaurant was very hot, it's 91 degrees outside with no AC. The server did not say hello or thank you with my purchase, just really angry older lady. I really wanted to try the fish that was advertised on the window, but she said I have to call to preorder. I'm not open to trying anything else at this establishment.

They use barbecue sauce to make stew chicken. Do I need to say more? If you are looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine, do not come here.
