Google
This is one of the best spots in the neighborhood for sandwiches. It also just happens to be burger month, which means they have lots of delicious different options. They always have a good selection of beer on tap, and some good cocktails as well. The bartenders are super friendly!

Google
Large menu, great sandwich combinations that require no substitution, great flavor and texture combos. I enjoyed not needing to craft my own sandwich but find a combo that may taste. I had the Curly H ( recommend) with potato salad, slaw and I order an appetizer of hummus that was a hearty plate. My wife had the Veg Salad, great potions and nice fried veggies to make it a meal. Also a good beer selection.

Google
Sizable menu with many sandwich options. We had the Sandra O K-fried chicken and Eli W turkey. Both were great. The pretzel bun and ciabatta bread were fresh and had good texture. The condiments and toppings were bright and tasty. And the portion size was generous. The sandwiches come with two sides. We had sweet potato fries which had a lovely texture, potato salad that had a zesty flavor, and a small green salad. They also bring several options of hot sauce, which we really appreciated. Everything was wonderful.

Google
The chicken pot pie and Peruvian chicken entrees were spectacular. You must have the aji verde sauce. It is the perfect balance between spice and heat 🔥. Service was unbelievable 10/10.

Google
Today I ordered takeaway food for myself, when I went into the restaurant. No one wanted to talk to me. There were four waiters and one bartender. None of them wanted to talk to me and avoided me. In the end. I had to take the order myself from the table. It ruined my mood! Simply disgusting attitude towards customers. I will not come back here again.

Google
Refreshing for 2025--Nice patio on the square, attentive staff, tasty sandwiches, great fries, you are going to get a tasty sandwich here. One of the best beer lists in the city for a restaurant. Also the bakery it is connected to will provide one of the best cupcakes in the city. Great neighborhood spot.

Google
This is a fantastic upscale restaurant that is great for all ages. They have an extensive menu for every taste palate. The portions are huge and the food was delicious. They sat our party of 7 with 2 little girls in a lovely private area that was perfect. All of their staff are delightful and customer service friendly. Our server Christopher R was great and the food came out super fast. Drinks were great and prices reasonable. Love the decor and they have lots of fun coloring for children. I cannot say enough good things about this place and it’s in such a wonderful neighborhood.

Google
First of all, it's 'Burger Month' - which means there is a whole menu of just burgers. Of course all 3 of us had burgers, each so different, all DELISH. If you can, get the Mayan - so good & popular they were out when last there. We did enjoy: Santa Fe, Parisian, Soul burgers. And for the record, regular menu is also full of great food. This place loves food, and it shows.

Yelp
I am a fan. I see what Jerry's did here, kicked up typical lunch foods with an artisan touch. I am here for it. We were greeted and sat immediately and for lunch time, this place was bustling. We got the cheese curds and they were good but they had all stuck together. The seasonal butternut squash was divine and would eat that everyday of the week. The sandwiches where very good. Everything tasted fresh. Perfect place to catch a great lunch in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. Pricing was congruent with the area. Paid parking is available with the diagonal spots. Service was great. I plan to revisit again soon. They also are attached to another coffee shop (Gertrude's is what I think it's called) that serve pastries and coffees.

Yelp
This whole place is just so relaxing to just sit in. it's never too loud, and there's even space to eat outside and enjoy the scenery there. The employees and hosts are super sweet and are always around if you need something more or are ready to take the check. Lemonade is super good- it's got a LOT of ice though but you know thats how they get you. The burger is probably one of my favorite burgers I've had thats costed me more than my usual go-to's but getting two sides makes it worth it. Mac n Cheese is so delicious I wish I'd get more and their fries are crispy and not too salty. All love to these guys

Yelp
Love love love what this place looks like. Also love the high energy. The food is unfortunately not as great. I got the Seoul burger, apparently one of the more popular burgers. It was okay. I would have gladly paid $10 for it, but these burgers come close to $20 once you add in the t'n't. I also got their pumpkin cider, which was interesting, but also nothing I plan to try again. My server was rather inattentive, but others seemed to be very engaged, so it's possible mine was new or just shy. In the end, it was an overpriced burger in a cool looking restaurant

Yelp
So I've been a fan of Jerry's since the days when I would frequent the Andersonville location. And I have to say the food is always great. I'm a huge fan of their salads, as well as of the sandwiches, and have never had anything I would say was not good. Though today my streak salad just felt a little sad...but it still tasted delicious, but was oddly small compared to the size of the salads normally. My friend joked that maybe they got bigger bowls. In the Lincoln Square location, I have always felt the service was a little hit or miss. Don't get me wrong, the waitstaff is always friendly and tries their best. However it just always feels like they are one of two people short, making the staff always appear stressed and chaotic. Today was better than most of our recent visits, but still felt like our server was pulling more than his share of the service...but he was a trooper and this isn't about him. The issue I had today that lowers the rating is the volume of the music. And I don't want to be that "would you kids turn it down" guy, but today was a lot. We were in the back area behind the bar and bathroom entrance, and the volume was almost unbearable. I love music and am fine normally, but today it just seemed overly loud. Everyone in the area we were in was having to yell, and pretty soon I developed a headache. Some songs were lower volume, but just when you felt it was subsiding, another blast would blare and everyone would start screaming to talk to table mates. On the plus side, hearing The Stooges and 13th Floor Elevators in a restaurant is kind of great...just maybe a little less volume. This is the first time in a while I've come around lunch on the weekend, so maybe this is the norm, but just felt excessive. I do really love coming here (3-4 times a month on average), but just can't take that blasting music.

Yelp
The amount of sandwiches on the menu is overwhelming but awesome! I ended up with a fried green tomato with pimento cheese and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. My sandwich was made incorrectly which isn't a problem, but it took over 10 minutes to flag down a waitress to fix it. They were very apologetic and everything ended up fine although I wish the waitress would've checked in after delivering our food. The location is great, right on Lincoln Square with a cute courtyard patio. The inside ambiance is pretty noisy and unremarkable. I live a bit far so likely won't travel out of my way to return but wouldn't hesitate to stop by next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Love the food, especially baked goods. Love the atmosphere and service. I am there pretty much every Sunday if for nothing else coffee.

Yelp
Delightful! Came here for post shift drinks with husband and kids and their drink menu did not disappoint. Cozy ambience, great music, and warm service. They gave our kids crayons and illustrated paper to entertain themselves with mini kids cups as well. Only had their corndogs as apps but will def try their food next time!

Yelp
I'm currently sitting outside. Waiting. Waiting It seems like hours. I could go in again and ask for my waitperson, but they only seem to get snippier when I do. I also have to collect my belongings ( since I'm outside). The flame salad was ok. About a half an hour ago, I flagged someone asking for an iced tea refill. He looked at me like you look at a foreigner speaking an unknown language. The front desk person came out but upon seeing me, rushed back in I'm getting weaker.

Yelp
Overall 3.75 stars. Solid choice in Lincoln square. Pros: More than just sandwiches. Great service. 30 beers on tap - good ones...not Budweiser. Cons: Menu is a bit overwhelming but it's nuances once you get through. My buffalo chicken salad while being fresh was not a "traditional" buffalo...good thing I asked for more sauce. Bread is large. While tasty it's a bit much.

Yelp
Great beer selection with a nice patio right in the heart of Lincoln Square - ideal for people watching with a cold beverage. Their sandwich selection is huge so you'll find something regardless of your preferences - the mac n cheese side is delicious!

Yelp
Food was fine, but portions were meager considering the prices. Note: I began to draft the above review after my first visit years ago and never posted it. I just tried them for a second time and absolutely nothing has changed. I got the Foghorn salad for $17 and it was insultingly small. There is absolutely nothing special going on with this salad for it to cost $17. So one might imagine it would at least be large, given the price. The only thing large about this salad was the bowl it was thinly distributed in it. Not impressed and not interested in returning. Looking forward to being told my experience and views are wrong by the owner here soon.

Yelp
I got some coffee, tea, and baked goods. The drinks were amazing! Unsweetened black iced tea, with a splash of lemonade was so refreshing. The unique Rose Chai Latte was uniquely flavored and full of flavor, and I loved it! The ladies serving me were extremely helpful, as it was my my first time there. My husband and I plan on going back for sure soon, because the lunch sandwiches were looking and smelling amazing. I love their hot and cold beverages as they were flavor tasting, especially compared to Starbucks. The smell of the food throughout the restaurant and wonderful staff and service will have us coming back soon; and this place is a long drive from the Southside!

Yelp
Good food, terrible service. I would cut them some slack due to the warm weather increasing the number of tables, but it's always like this. A few (admittedly tasty) sandwiches and one round of draft beer should not take 90 minutes. Don't go if you're on a schedule.
google avatar

Yelp
Jerry's is great-especially if you love sandwiches! Large selection to choose from. Great sides, too. Nice quality food. Service is always good. Outdoor seating on the square is awesome. Usually not too hard to park. There is a lot at end of street if you can't find street parking. Connected to Geraldine's which is a delicious bakery!

Yelp
Don't bring old people here. This place insists on a QR code menu that takes you to an ungainly PDF of the styley-font-tinyass-typeset menu that was clearly designed to be read as hard copy, except they apparently refuse to have even a few printouts on hand to give to hapless boomers. Go paperless if you want, but for christ's sake have a mobile-responsive menu. "We change the menu so often," was the host's excuse, as if they actually go and fuck around in InDesign every time they run out of meatloaf. They did offer to bring a tablet for the elders, who had to wait because it was charging, because of course it was, if they're having to bring it to dozens of people throughout the day. The food is fine but you'll find yourself remembering how much better the other locations were. Oh, Jerry, whoever you are, try harder.

Yelp
I am so happy we found Jerry's soon after moving to the area! They have a salad that I absolutely love, time and time again, the Foghorn Salad! It's crispy chicken, mixed with the homemade BBQ ranch dressing is so pretty to look at, and tastes even better! Service is always good, especially if you're interacting with mister blonde/light brown beard who's usually behind the bar. He's so nice! Prices are a little high, but you won't leave hungry! Plus, I'm guessing that's also because of their primo real estate right next to the square. So treat yourself to a nice lunch or dinner and pop by with your friends. Our local restaurants need our support! P.S. the deep fried pickles are also really good.

Yelp
I love Jerry's. I love Jerry's. I love Jerry's. I am super sad they shut down in Andersonville a few years ago (though re-opening at Fiya [which is amazing]), however, I'm super grateful that there is still a Jerry's available not too far away. The menu has definitely shifted a bit, and my favorite, the Larry D is no longer available. However, there are almost endless choices for sandwiches. Plus, they do excellent substitutions for vegetarians (just ask!). I'll be a Jerry's customer for life.

Yelp
Came here for lunch, great local food and drinks. I was traveling so I can say how the busy time for this establishment is!

Yelp
I loved this place because of how many options they had for veggie sandwiches! The one I got had fried shiitake mushrooms on it and it was so good. Plus they have an adorable patio to sit outside when it's nice out!

Yelp
This place was absolutely packed on a Saturday during the winter but even though all the tables were full the host let us sit at the bar seating in the middle. This is a very unique menu with a lot of interesting options and nothing would be considered "plain" or "normal". Despite that my partner and I both found something delicious to eat that we enjoyed. The server seemed annoyed and was a bit inattentive but we had a good experience non the less. Nice place to stop if you're shopping in the area.

Yelp
A group of five recently gathered for a birthday luncheon. We actually sat indoors on a beautiful afternoon, because the birthday girl doesn't like to sit in the sunlight. Bummer! Because of that, we were the only party inside the restaurant. This was not a heavy drinking crowd. I had a beer called Maplewood Brownie Points, and it was delicious. The group ordered chips and salsa and a hummus appetizer. Both were fine, nothing special. I was a little disappointed in the hummus appetizer. When I ate at Jerry's last October, it included carrots, celery, pita bread, and cucumber. Now it just has bread and cucumber. The entrees included the Mac & Cheese with poblano peppers and a side salad, and the Rachel sandwich. Sorry, I don't recall what the others were. Probably because I have just about zero tolerance for alcohol, and one beer was plenty for me. These two entrees were greatly enjoyed, and each was enough for two servings. i suppose that's a bargain, figuring that you get two meals for the price of one. The birthday girl was surprised with a large piece of chocolate cake a single candle on it. We sang happy birthday to her and sliced up the cake, dividing it among four people. There was still cake left over, so that was a very generous slice, and everybody remarked on how delicious it was. Only one thing bothered me, and, in this time of Covid and Delta variant, that is the mask issue. The menu asked that patrons wear a mask while speaking to the server. That's absolutely good and fine, and the proper thing to do. However, the waiter wore his mask around his neck and never placed it on his face. Never. Nobody said anything to him about it or complained to anyone. I admit to being somewhat fascinated by it -- was he going to realize he wasn't wearing it? Would the bartender say, put your mask on, it won't protect you around your neck, unless you're breathing through a trachea tube. Nothing. The whole two hours we were there, it was around his neck. I talked to the birthday girl the next day and said, should I call the manager and tell him? She said, don't do it, you don't want to get the server fired. I doubt he'd get fired, but to play it safe, I never called. I do think we were wrong by not saying anything to him. If this happened in the future, I would definitely say something like, did you forget your mask? Bottom line: Jerry's is a fine restaurant with a large selection of food and beverages. It's a good place to celebrate anything, or just hang out over a good meal.

Yelp
We had pie and coffee at the bar. It was great, the service very welcoming. We will be back.

Yelp
Kinda hodgy podgy decor inside..but great outdoor seating if you can snag it. Opted for the sammies. They basically use the meat + slaw+ sauce methodology which executed well are usually very good. I think better bread and the sauce on the sammie would've elevated these sammies and would've seemed worth the cost of each.. The Sandra O was $15.95. The bread was very chewy and bland. The sauce tasted only of honey. Was alot of sauce and not much flavor. The Manny S was $16.95. This was corned beef, slaw, dressing etc. The bread was toasted sandwich bread ( like maybe a wheat toast you'd get from any bagged bread. Nothing special. The best part of this sammie was the pickled jalepeno. The bread just wasn't right for this sandwich. Even though you get decent options for sides they were not worth these prices as is. I kinda expected this to be better than your average diner. I did see a salad being served that looked very good. The fried avocado app was ok. They needed to season the avocado before battering it but it was worth a try. Server was nice and attentive. Decent pours.

Yelp
i ordered takeout from here, excited to try a new restaurant that a trusted friend recommended. the online ordering didn't have a place for notes, so after ordering, i called to ask for no aioli on my sandwich. she said she'd let the kitchen know. after I picked up my food and got home, I noticed there was still aioli. I was very disappointed. outside of that the sandwich tasted pretty good, the baked beans were decent, but the mac and cheese was below average. also very small portion sizes for the amount you're paying ($20 for this!) i'm pretty disappointed in this place, not sure if i'll be coming back.

Yelp
This place has gone down hill. No one is wearing any kind of PPE, but they insist on making you scan for a menu; when we asked for hardcopy menus they said they didn't have any; they gave a us a cheap pad that didn't work right. Please understand, when you scan anything, you are giving up your data. They have little outdoor pods on a public square that requires staff to be constantly opening and outside door to the main dining room subjecting everyone to a cold draft. Wanna catch a cold, eat here. The food, at one point, really good, but they are just phoning it in...the menu hasn't changed in four years. My omelette was awful. The service? They stand over you while you tip, but you have to ask for everything? If the restaurant business wants to make a comeback, either stop the hybrid covid routine or show you care a little more and that you are glad people are in your restaurant. A hardcopy menu is not a lot to ask. Stop taking treating your customers like morons and taking everyone's generosity granted.

Yelp
I just stopped into Jerry's with some family, and I'm so displeased that our experience was horrible. The service was the absolute worst I have personally ever experienced. I work in hospitality as a bartender and server In Chicago and I can tell you all firsthand that our servers presentation, attitude, posture, tonality, communication, and timeliness was absolutely unacceptable. He showed up to out table 12 min after we sat down, didn't give any sort of introduction or welcome, never once said please, thank you, or sorry, and seemed very aggressive, tense, and unfriendly. My family was very uncomfortable and we left very unhappy. I wish I had known our severs name, although he never told us since he barley spoke to us, besides in a very derogatory manner. He looked really messy as well, as if he had just woke up from a bad night. I don't recommend.

Yelp
It's really cute place to grab your coffee and go. Everyone here is super friendly and don't be shy to ask.

Yelp
COVID bubbles! Like... you can go sit outside in your own plastic bubble with a space heater. :) It was delightful. Make a reservation if possible-- we were walk ins though. We had the bloody mary (good!), old fashioned (very good), shiitake breakfast biscuit with sausage gravy (I think they gave me the chicken one by mistake, but still good!), kids mac n cheese (okay), and the original egg sandwich (fried eggs with ham and avocado, yum!). Highly recommend-- great location right on Lincoln Square, and really yummy food. Even now, big menu and bigger drinks menu!

Lisa B.

Yelp
Great sandwiches and friendly service! One of my favorite places to go in the neighborhood and take guests for above average pub grub and chill Lincoln Square vibes.
google avatar

Yelp
We went for breakfast and asked for poached instead of fried eggs and were told the chef could only make fried and scrambled eggs. Really??? Terrible service too. I would not return

Yelp
Good menu selection. Generously sized portions. Presented well. COVID precautions good and acceptable. I really liked the barbecue baked beans and spicy ketchup for the fries. Server a little slow following up on our well being after food was delivered. Took a long time to pay and leave.

Yelp
Such a great, lovely spot with wonderful food. I visited this morning as many of us had the day off so it was busy! Super happy for them. The food was on point, it's quite simple but so delicious. I could see everyone was really on it. I highly recommend this spot whenever you're looking for something filling and delicious. I will say the host was not having it and clearly was having an off day. I'm sure it probably had something to do with how busy they were but I feel like the host is the beginning of experiences and having him be so rude to us felt a little uncomfortable.

Jane Q.

Yelp
The service and food are wonderful. The beer is very tasty. It is a joyful place to visit. Been coming here for many years.

Yelp
My buddy who used to live in Lincoln Square said that Jerry's is one of the few late night places in the neighborhood and I known for sandwiches. Well I love a good sandwich so I figure that I should try it out. For some reason I thought that this was going to be a fast food joint where you order at the counter and sit down. But it was a full blown restaurant with a bar. It was a pretty nice space with casual attire. So I felt a little awkward when I came here after an evening run dressed in my sweaty gym clothes. Oops. They have about 10 taps with craft beer and there is a full bar. It had a few TVs, which were showing the previous Winter Olympics. The menu is massive, like CBA massive so there are a ton of different sandwiches. I ordered the Eli W, which had turkey, bacon, avocado, cheddar, lettuce, and sweet/spicy mustard on a pretzel bun. My sides were Mac N Cheese and Cole Slaw. The sandwich was good and was a decent portion size. The pretzel bun was soft and all of the ingredients were pretty fresh. The miniscule sides were ok too, but the Mac N Cheese was cool and not hot. It was definitely sitting around for a while. Service was adequate and there were a few people that came in for dinner so it wasn't overly crowded on a weekday. Prices weren't overly expensive. The sandwich was solid and it's a nice little neighborhood restaurant to have in Lincoln Square.
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
Gluten-free bread is still only 50-cents extra. Tried blackened chicken salad sandwich today, and it was really good. The fries were good, but nothing special. The iced tea was the same. Prices felt high, but that matches the neighborhood.

Emily M.

Yelp
I will forever be indebted to this neighborhood spot. There are enough sandwiches and salads to constantly change it up, which is lucky for us because we come to this family-friendly spot to sit on the patio at least once a week. The patio opens up to Lincoln Square where my husband and I take turns playing with our toddler while the others takes a breather with a cocktail. Their kids menu has all the basics kids love with lots of sides choices, and the kids orders always come out very quickly. They're extremely tolerant of kids' antics and knowing there is a friendly and welcoming place for our family to go enjoy these last few days of warm weather is wonderful. Really diverse beer selection, and the servers are really hard-working and laid back at the same time.

Dajana M.

Yelp
Usually this is my go to salad spot. But today was an absolute nightmare. I was picking up a tossed flame salad to go, planning on taking it to work to eat. The salad was a mess. I asked for it tossed in dressing, however this salad was absolutely doused in dressing. Everything was soggy and practically drowning in dressing. Not only that but the salad was tiny. Usually it is a much larger portion. Threw it away immediately. $20 for this??

Yelp
As a lifelong fan of the Grateful Dead, I love the subtle Garcia theme. The artwork hanging in the place fits with the theme but is definitely not in your face, very cool vibe for a late spring Sunday evening in Lincoln Square. Cheese curds were average, but the dipping sauces were really tasty. The barbecue beans (vegetarian) are sweet, tangy and spicy - delicious. The spiced apples were a bit too "clovy". The Janice J (tuna burger) was out of this world with spice and rich umami flavor. The sesame bun is delightful. A companion had the brisket sandwich - way too fatty, average flavor and very tough - not what you look for in brisket and a huge disappointment. She wanted a burger, but because it's "Burger Month", they were out of burgers - how can that be? Parisienne burger was good. The Burgh burger was dry, but tasty. Likely because you can only order your burger medium or well done. Service is ok. Overall, an interesting place, but nothing to write home about.

Yelp
We came to Jerry's after recommendation from family. The place has a great location, with a nice, warm interior. Service was friendly and attentive. Ended up ordering the Clint E. w/ french fries and mac & cheese as our side. The first thing I noticed was how much lettuce they crammed into the sandwich. Seriously...look at that thing; it looks like a lettuce sandwich?!? My girlfriend and I were sharing, and we were both in quick agreement to shed more than half of it. The sandwich itself was tasty, loved the crunch and flavor of the fried shiitake mushrooms. French fries were also good. Mac & cheese was meh at best. Our whole table was in agreement that something was off about it. Cheese was kind of watery and I honestly didn't even want to finish it. The sandwiches were well-received by all parties in our group. It's just a shame they're bogged down by excessive amounts of lettuce and sub-par side items. Because I am curious to try more of their sandwiches.

Katy H.

Yelp
Very poor service. Everyone at Jenny's has an attitude. They act like you're bothering them if you need anything. One time a waiter straight up told us he "wasn't coming back"... went again and our waitress disappeared. The food is okay, but not consistent.

Yelp
Went there last night and the food here was amazing! I had the BLT sandwich. And all of their sandwich are around $12-16ish that comes with TWO sides. Super expansive menu with lots of options, even for their sides I think they had over 6 things to choose from. I ended up getting fries and vinaigrette greens. It was nomnom. FYI service is slow. They only had one service running the place yesterday and WiFi/system went down so they had issues with paying with credit cards. Thought they were apologetic and really nice about it. Great food, good location and good service. Will be back to try the rest of the sandwiches!

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place more, and I'm sure I'll be back to try different sandwiches because there are SO FrEAkEN MANY different ones, but I wasn't extremely satisfied with mine, nor did I like the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was so thick and room temperature, but it tasted room temperature because of the sauce being so thick... idk it was weird. Tons of good bacon on there, though. Let's start from the beginning. The menu is insanely long... like TOO long. The sandwiches have people's names so you have to read every single description to know what the sandwich is made from. Cute idea in theory, but impossible to remember and look at since there are multiple pages of different kinds of sandwiches. Sadly, I couldn't even put names for the captions of my parents' sandwiches because I can't remember them. That's also super annoying because if I wanted to get the same sandwich again, I wouldn't even be able to remember what the heck I had last time. Sadly, I wouldnt order mine again anyway. I believe mine was the Jenny F, which had avocado, mozzarella, poblano, jalapeno, and lettuce. Honestly, my sandwich was pretty dry even though it had southwest mayo on it. I definitely wouldn't order it again, and it was held together by a hamburger bun... definitely wouldn't have put it on there because it gave the sandwich a weird taste. My mom got some kind of steak sandwich and the steak was awesome with great flavor, so I'd probably get one of those next time. And I think my dad got pulled pork? His was okay, but the steak was much better in my opinion. Ooooh and get the mashed potatoes with poblano gravy! SO GOOD! I would come here just for that. It's nice that you can pick any side you want, and there are many different sides to choose from. The red sangria was amazing. I also got the 2 Towns Pearadise, but it was too bitter for me because it was a cider. Wouldn't order that again. They don't have Jack Daniels for a Jack and Coke. My favorite part of my whole experience was the outside patio. We came on a perfect summer day and the patio is dog friendly so we saw many cute ones. Overall, I'd eat here again and not order the sandwich I ordered, but I wouldn't run back here. If the experience presents itself, I'll eat here, but eh.

Yelp
We love the food at Jerry's. I'm usually sketched out by a menu with so many options, but the food never disappoints. Unfortunately, I'm leaving this review after a handful of poor service experiences. The staff seems...out to lunch. Dazed, confused even. As a result, service is slow, staff lacks knowledge of the menu, and owners are missing out on profit. I might buy a second mimosa if I saw our server between order placement and payment. The food is still great, but dining here is frustrating. A real shame for this neighborhood gem.

Yelp
Lots of options and great food! A lot of flavor and the option of two sides is great. One of my favorite spots in Lincoln Square

Yelp
This place claims to be kid-friendly but today my 2yo who has sensory issues wanted to walk around a bit to calm down when we were dining in. We usually do this for 5 mins at other restaurants like Daily with no issues since we are not disrupting the service or bothering anyone. But today the host stopped us and told me we can't do that and that kids need to stay at the table. Now I understand why he might say that but my kid wasn't even running. So then I had to force my kid to sit down and she wouldn't calm down unless I put on a show on my phone, then I saw the host and another wait staff shot us some looks while my kid stared at the phone screen. So for parents with toddlers or active hyper kids of any kind, just know that you might get judged and that probably will impact your experience. I do not recommend this place.

Yelp
Great service our waiter i think was named Michael he was very nice and helpful with a beer option and food choices. The Joey V sandwich was really good, skirt steak was tender and it had all the right toppings. It came with 2 sides, i got the mashed potatoes with polbano peppers and the house chips both really tasty. Will definitely come back! Easy near by parking was a plus too, also in the nice Lincoln Square neighborhood

Yelp
The sandwiches here are good, but like many other yelpers have mentioned, they're a bit pricey. $13 or $14 for a sandwich and two very small sides is a bit much. I had the Doc J which was humus, hot sauce, lettuce, fried eggplant, cheese, and asparagus on hallah. It would have been much better toasted and with some spices, but overall pretty good. I ate the whole thing. I also got the bourbon brown sugar sweet potatoes which were yummy, and a fruit salad of a couple grapes, a small piece of watermelon, and a couple bites of pineapple. Like I said, portions here for the sides are tiny. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and coleslaw. He seemed to really enjoy it. There was a hearty amount of chicken too! The staff today was not very friendly. Our waitress gave us menus and asked how we were doing while looking the complete opposite direction and walking away before we could even respond. When she came to take our order, she wasn't rude but seemed rushed and again, not friendly. They didn't refill our water cups once, despite us finishing the water before our food even came. I'd like to assume they were having a bad day, but the other reviews on here make it appear that this is a common occurrence.

Yelp
I was in the neighborhood searching for a restaurant with outdoor seating for lunch and came across Jerry's. The good thing is that they have open-air indoor seating by the windows. I felt comfortable that the staff here respects and enforces social distancing and safety guidelines. I had the Santa Fe burger with fries and spiced apples. The burger was very delicious and flavorful, the fries were above average, and the spices apples were simple but good. The prices for what you get are very reasonable for the neighborhood, as well.
