Jesse Carl Vinyl

Small store, but packed with variety of rock, soul, pop, and country plus a few other genres. They also had cds, cassettes, and dvds. The one genre I did not find was any Spanish/latin music. They have other merchandise as well (books, magazines, some novelty, store t-shirts, etc.).

Great downtown spot to go vinyl hunting. The staff is always very helpful. They will order what you need if it's out there to ship. They have vinyl accessories, box sets, stickers and band paraphernalia.

Probably the best record shop in town. Its owners are very friendly and very willing to help you, its a nice place to look up for your favorite music

My first trip to Jesse Carl Vinyl was very productive. I found exactly what I looking for. I will be heading back when I have time to explore.

Been there several times over the years, and always had a good experience, until the last few months when I brought my girlfriend around. The man maintaining the store keeps just standing there and staring at us while we browse the inventory. Its very unsettling and it makes looking through the inventory really uncomfortable and tense. I don't know what his problem is, but it's happened on more than one occasion. My girlfriend doesn't want to ever go back. Very disappointed in a spot I really loved.

Very clean and well maintained store with a wide variety of music both used and new releases. Really good selection of any equipment you might need for playing records, cds, or cassettes. Prices are pretty steep but each record is checked and graded for damage.

My son, niece, myself were there on friday and the condition of the records were incredible and i think we got outta there with some money left in my pocket. We love this place, great prices, LPS, 45s, Cassettes, box sets, first pressing and no scratches. There is no junk here, all great stuff and the owners Dad was there and he was really great to us. My son and I will be back and i hope the stuff I had to leave behind is still there. Love it here.

Looks like it may be starting to expand and fill out the space. It's a cool little shop with an excellent vibe and fair prices. Every record is nicely curated and stored in a vinyl sleeve. The quality of the the albums and price per is right on point. I would definitely come back to this shop!

Nice little record store. Small selection. Every genre of music. New and old records. Nice staff, I didn't feel rushed. No hurry up and buy attitude. Felt very comfortable digging for records. Worth stopping by and looking you might something you like.

Great selection of all types of media. The vinyl collection is the most extensive with a mix of about 50% vintage records in all manner of condition and 40% new/used records and 10% fresh stock thats new and vintage. Does that add up to 100%? The only thing I would reduce my review for was the equipment section. It was space. Where there we're amps and speakers for purchase. For the most part, the equipment was the shiny black stuff we all remember from the late 90s and early 2000s. Sadly, I didn't see a single beautiful amp from the 1970s or 1980s. I judge an equipment section based off of how many VU matters and oscilloscopes I see. Sadly, it was all black plastic and blue LEDs. I'm sure sure how the vinyl is cleaned before sale, but most purchases come with an exterior sleeve of various quality. I wish the record came with a free replacement interior sleeve for the LP, I would even pay money for this services, but it wasn't on the me available for me at the time. I can't afford to buy stacks of LP sleeves, let's make those available as useful and value adding upgrades! The staff was awesome and helped me so much. Without these workers, the store wouldn't be what it is today.

Certainly one of if not the best record stores in the Lakeland area. I've been there 3 times now, and there have always been great customer service, a sizable selection, and prices that range from reasonable to fantastic. My only minor gripe is that the place is a bit small, and I feel like it could really flourish if it was just a bit bigger. Still though, it really is a minor issue, everything else is nearly perfect. Just don't expect to get lost in there for 3 or 4 hours.

I have never been to Florida, however I found out about this record store through mutual friends and decided to check out their website. Very professional and looking through the records online was almost like being in the store. I've ordered three times online for delivery to Milwaukee, WI and have not been disappointed in the slightest. The owner has a real passion for vinyl and I could really tell from the "Quarantine Grab Bag" I received. Two very good records that I would not have picked out myself.

Have been buying records from Jessi since she and her parents started selling at the Lakeland Farmer's Market. Have followed her from her first physical store to the present location. Great selection and great people! Very happy to have a record store in Lakeland. Highly recommended!

Jesse has done a really nice job with this much needed spot in Lakeland and only gets better with her selection over time! Pricing and quality always more than fair and she can't wait to special order something for you if you need it!

Very small but cool place to hunt for records. Selection is full of surprises, both old and new I I was visiting family from Chicago nearby and decided to drop into this one and remove it from my list of record shops to visit while I'm here and was surprised how many good records are still in the bins. Good check them out you won't be disappointed like some of the other ones in the area. Help keep the music spinning

Jesse has a decent selection of used LP's at reasonable prices. The store has a nice mix of old and new with flashes of rarities. As one of only a few shops in Lakeland it definitely has room to grow.

Great store with awesome mix of $1 and $2 records on up. Prices are reasonable and they even have brand new releases!
