A Hidden Gem in Parker! What an amazing surprise! From the outside it looks small, but once you walk in, wow, it’s so much bigger inside, and the food is even bigger in flavor! This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. The food is absolutely delicious and made with love. My husband ordered the Gumbolaya, and let me tell you, it was the 💣! I’ll be getting that next time for sure. The cornbread came out hot with soft, melting butter, perfection! The mango iced tea was super refreshing, and the service was friendly, kind, and full of positive energy. It felt like being welcomed into a family kitchen. My mother-in-love cleaned her plate (which says a lot!) and my husband left full and happy, that’s a win all around! And best of all, it’s Black-owned by a chef from New Orleans, right here in Parker! If you’re looking for food made with love, spice, and soul, look no further. Stop by Jessie’s Smokin Nola 🥳🥳🥳🥳🙌🙌🙌🙌

Very busy so had a few drinks while waiting but the staff was very personable and friendly. The food was amazing. I had the Magnolia with the catfish being fried but on the side, usually smothered. It was incredible and very well seasoned. 😋 I will definitely be back. I hear the chicken is amazing, so I'm definitely trying next time. A little bit of a wait for that but hear from the locals well worth it.

I’m not one to leave reviews, but my experience here was too good not to share! Jessie, the owner, and his staff were all incredibly nice and welcoming. I ordered crawfish etouffee (first time having it) and it was DELICIOUS! There was so much crawfish in the dish that I was able to have 1-2 per spoonful. I will definitely be back and recommend it to others.

This place is a great local gem! The restaurant is much bigger than I had expected, it's comfortable and very clean. The food is the main reason to show up though, because no matter what you order, it's excellent! We tried the Taste of NOLA to get a good variety of things and had some catfish bites too and were unable to choose a favorite. The coleslaw is also exceptional, somehow it's both creamy and light, I love it. We can't wait to come back to finish trying everything else, the desserts and cornbread are top on my list of things to try next time!

If you have any interest in food from New Orleans you must stop by. The red beans and rice, the fried chicken, the Huricanes are all straight from New Orleans and are fantastic. The music, the friendliness of the staff, the food put together a wonderful experience.

Phenomenal! Our second time here and this is going to be a regular haunt for us. The red beans & rice, gumbo, okra, jambalaya, and pecan pie were all on point. Definitely worth trying the “mixed” dishes. The red beans and jambalaya (instead of white rice) will definitely be a repeat! And…Abita amber on tap!?!?!!! Oh yeah. Jessie’s da man! Oh, and this isn’t the goo filled pecan pie. Andrea does it right.

A Taste of New Orleans Right in Parker! Jessie’s Smokin’ Nolas is the real deal—a true gem bringing authentic New Orleans flavor to the Denver metro area. I’ve been searching for that deep, soulful Louisiana taste and let me tell you… this is it! The catfish? Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside. Easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere—even in NOLA itself. The wings pack bold flavor with just the right kick, and the gumbo is rich, hearty, and downright comforting. Every spoonful feels like a warm hug from the bayou. The vibe is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the food is made with love. Jessie’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a whole experience. If you’re craving authentic New Orleans-style cooking, look no further. This place is hands down the best in the Denver area. Run, don’t walk. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

You need to go here! My dad is from the south and nothing has even come close to being authentic around here. This Cajun food knocked it out of the park with everything we tried. Highly recommend and will absolutely be coming back!

Yelp
We arrived a bit after 12 noon. The brightly lit restaurant was almost full. We were told to have a seat, and when ready to order - head up to the counter. This makes is a bit difficult to order, re-order, or (pre)tip (in hopes of receiving great service). It seems to be somewhat self-serve with water and drinks, the cashier hands you the glass or can. About 20 minutes later, the server was bringing us Gumbalaya (Traditional New Orleans soup with chicken, okra, hot and smoked sausage, and Jambalaya) and The Second Line (Red Beans and Rice, Jambalaya, Gumbo and Crawfish Etouffee) to enjoy. The dishes were fantastic - much better than the other local Cajun places that we have around this area.

Yelp
Much needed new restaurant in town. I highly recommend the Wednesday special with fried chicken, dirty rice and jambalaya. I hope they add a way to order ahead soon, but it's 100% worth the wait for the freshly made food.

Yelp
Hell yeah!! Jesse is back!! Been coming to all his locations since day one. And now he's less than a mile from my house! Jackpot! Muffuletta is spot on with the Central Grocer in New Orleans! Red Beans and rice is superb and doesn't skimp on anything. Jesse is probably one of the hardest workers and his attention to detail is top notch. You won't be disappointed

Yelp
Amazing food and I'm glad Jessie is back in Parker! You won't be disappointed, especially if you like fried chicken on days it's available as Jessie's hands down is the best.

Yelp
We love the food here, and the inside has a variety of seating types. The inside is very clean with nice touches of paintings and other decor. You are in for a bit of a wait--everything is freshly made and with so much seafood in a variety of dishes, you know that you are getting something that is safe to eat. We love Jessie's Gumbalaya, and the chicken is outstanding. Jessie -- see if the Colorado Jazz Ambassadors will play here! Some live music will add to the place, and helps a good cause.

Yelp
We order the shrimp platter and it came with a long black hair fried in the breading!! Prices are high for what you get. You also cannot order online or by phone and wait it 30-45 minutes. I tried them three times, and each time something was wrong with our order.

Yelp
A group of us came on Sunday the food was impeccable. I'm from New Orleans and to find a gem of a restaurant to remind me of home was just awesome. Today is Thursday and I'm back at Jessie's for a taste of NOLA.

Yelp
I SO wanted this to be a new go-to spot for us, but alas... the Cajun food tasted like everything was straight out of a can. The Jambalaya was more like Mexican rice, the gumbo was bland and the red beans and rice just tasted like bean dip. The service was OK - you have to stand in line to order. The highlight however was the Fried Chicken. Jesse: you're missing your calling. That Chicken is flat out the best in town!
