I don’t quite understand people who still choose a Dominos/Pizza Hut over Jet’s pizza if it’s in your area. It wins hands down. If you think it’s a competition or you prefer another fast food pizza chain you’re just wrong and should seek the help you need.

Jets pizza started off with always good service and good food no matter which store you went into. Not so much anymore!! E Glebe location the service sucks. You can tell the energy in that place is not good at all!! Management needs to be re-trained!! Columbia Pike is always great. I’ll go out of my way for that location instead of E Glebe. 12/29/2025 around 7pm Love the pizza!! Update: I gave E Glebe another chance. I walked in to pick up my pizza around 7 pm on 1/10/26. The cashier had his back to me and was not doing anything. There was a couple next to me and looked at the cashiers back of head and said “the service here is pretty bad. Anyways, my pizza wasn’t ready but when it was I was hoping for hot fresh pizza. Instead it was cold and had been sitting out. I had high hopes for jet. Corporate needs to wake up or jet will be another pizza casualty I’m going back to @wiseguypizza

the detroit style is amazing! great crispy crust and generous w the toppings. the thin crust was good but not worth the money.

5 stars for 5 reasons 1. One of the best pizzas I’ve had around the DMV area! This is very comparable to New York Prince pizza! The small pepperoni are so good and taste delicious! The 8 corner and pepperoni is the best! The crust is perfect texture and has a good crunch to it. The dough used to make the pizza fluffy, airy and chewy at the same time makes this my favorite type of pizza. 2. Good service as always and fast 3. Even if the pizza is cold the pizza is still crunchy! 4. Paid 29 dollars and good quality pizza! Expensive but well worth it. 5. Meets quality and quantity!

Great pizza, best 8 corners in the DMV 😋 veggies are fresh, onions are loud. I got the veggie. Cheese is the good mozzarella. Edges are good and crunchy and crispy and cheesy and chewy like I like 🫠 Expensive though. 10/10 will eat again.

Everything was great with our order from Jet’s! Yummy as always! All of the staff even took the time to write “happy birthday” messages on the boxes (it was my husband’s birthday wish to have Jet’s Pizza!) :) The delivery driver also kept me up to date with when to expect the order. Thanks everyone at Jet’s!

I probably won’t be back. Because the employees didn’t wear gloves and put the topping on the pizza. While I was waiting for the pizza, I saw them touching their nose, hair , clothes and even eating pizza and drink… and they came back to topping station without cleaning hands or wearing gloves. At least, put on gloves while you make pizza.

Best Detroit style pizza in the DMV!! Get the four square pizza, and you won't be disappointed. Hopefully, they will open more in the area

I love Detroit style pizza and this place does a decent job! I had them first in Milwaukee and was telling my friends about this wonderful chain.... Oh you mean the place down the street? Jeez I wish I knew about this sooner. I've ordered from them several times. It's a little pricey but the slices are filling so my wife and I make a large last 2 meals.

First time trying Jets! The pizza was good and filling, one slice is all you need. Ordered delivery and it travels well.

Overall it was ok the crust was crunchy and liked the different flavors you could choose, but the problem was the pizza was very bland. Like tasted very one not and had no saltiness that you would expect from pepperoni and ham. It was a little better with the sauces but not much. We ended up using our favorite marinara sauce and putting that on the pizza with a little finish salt and it made it better. This was my first time trying it and may try it again another time to see if it was a fluke. It was very underwhelming, but pizza was on time and staff was nice.

I heard nice things about Jet's from Michiganders and this was pretty good! My friend and I ordered the Super Special, (pizza sauce, premium mozzarella, pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, onions & green peppers) along with some honey bbq wings for the Lions-Commanders game. He placed the online order that morning, but it came about 15 min after the delivery time. Obviously a busy night with all the Lions hopefuls. Really great pizza overall. I was going to do my usual two slices, but decided to go in for one more because it was so good! It's not as tall of a brick pizza as other places, but still enjoyable. The wings were also tasty and I would love to try another flavor next time.

Delicious deep dish pizza! We ordered our pizza online and were able to pick it up within 20 minutes of ordering. They have seating inside but the place isn't really for dining, it's more of an order to go pizza place. We ordered a pepperoni and sausage deep dish with a side of ranch. Highly recommend getting the ranch on the side! Soo good!!

I had a colleague introduce me to Jet's Pizza when they brought a one-topping four corner for me to try at lunch. I really enjoyed it, so I figured I would give it a second try with more toppings. It was a mistake. Kudos to the text-to-order functionality because it was easy to order and pay online. The restaurant was clean and there was no crowd or line for waiting. My pizza was even ready in the timeframe projected. I had to ding them on the review because the pizza seemed over baked and toppings were very dry. This was especially true for the sausage and beef toppings. The vegetable toppings all had a little more char than I'm accustomed to seeing on a loaded pizza. I expected crispy edges on the crust, but the underside had dark spots and tasted charred as well. I might be willing to give Jet's one more shot. Maybe I need to try another location. While the staff was very friendly and more than accommodating, this might not be the location for me.

Ordered via door dash. It was quick and easy! The pizza was delicious but i would not consider it to be deep dish tho ! The pizza was a little over cooked but not unbearable! I'd definitely give them another shot!

I'm really shocked--coming from Michigan, I know Jet's Pizza, and I've eaten at this location before. I hate to leave a negative review, but I have to say I wasn't impressed. My partner and I split a 4 Corner pizza, and it just wasn't good. The crust wasn't as crispy or buttery as usual, the toppings didn't seem fresh, and it was overly greasy while somehow lacking sauce. Disappointing.

Delicious! First time trying this Detroit-style square pizza and boy did we enjoy ourselves. Placed an order online and our takeout was ready in no time. Street parking is available and may be difficult to find on busier days. Employees are friendly and everything was neatly wrapped. The pizza is delicious! The crust is buttery, thick, and seasoned well. Toppings are of good quality. Portions are generous and one slice is more than filling. Their chicken wings are also meaty, plump, and juicy. Excellent! I'm so glad we got a chance to try Jet's Pizza. Can't wait to come back.

The bottom line: Hearty, thick, and guilty pizza that can satisfy deeper hunger. Jet's non-circular, thick-crust pizza is reasonably tasty and reasonably priced. The Hawaiian BBQ chicken is my favorite, so far, with a tangy BBQ sauce, tiny sweet pineapple pieces, and medium grilled chicken chunks. It's super satisfying when you're hungry, but Italian pizza traditionalists might scoff at it being called pizza. The cheese version can be similarly satisfying, but I don't love the sauce (I'm not an oregano fan). There is no ambiance, just a busy pickup line, and the staff have been business-like/pleasant. Jet's is great in a hungry pinch and I'm sure I'll be back.

Unsatisfied with our second experience. Decided to try the cauliflower pizza this time. Would not recommend! They burnt the bottom and the anchovies were overly salty. Had to throw away the toppings. We also got the 8 corner pizza again and this time all the toppings were burnt as well. Had to pick off most of the sausages and throw away sadly.

I really wanted to love this place but it felt so flat to me. I love Detroit style pizza and when I ordered the make your own, I was very excited to get all the toppings. While the topping ratio was great I felt like the crust and sauce were super bland. Even the side ranch was one of the blandest ranches I've tasted. Typically I'd say pizza gets better when reheated but even reheated, the crust was lacking flavor. We also ordered one of the calzone like items and it was 75% bread with toppings on just one side.

Well, the good is finally great thin slice pizza with crispy cooked toppings. Personal sized pizza, 4 medium slices. Tasty. Wings were pretty good as an add on, but not a meal...those were not crispy...bet if they put those through the pizza oven.... The bad: I ordered a Greek salad and in the notes in all caps: NO ONIONS PLEASE!! There was not feta cheese but shredded mozzarella, the yellow peppers were dried out. But look at the onions...ruined it as I tried picking them out but the whole thing wreaked of onions. The dressing was Italian like and wasn't like oil/vinegar/spices like Greek salad dressing I ordered.

No bad at all. I got the Meaty four corner ($18) and definitely can feed two to three people. The service was fast and parking was not too difficult because you can park on the side street. There were few option that I wanna to try but have to wait until next time. I wish they offer weekday special : )

Jet's is my favorite takeout pizza place in my area. The Detroit style pizza is truly delicious. Save 15% by ordering your pizza via text message. I've ordered from them 3 times so far and each time was excellent. I order ahead, pick it up, bring it home and experience pizza joy!

We order the same pizza every time and it's different almost every single time. Either it's perfect (40%) or it's burnt (60%). Sometimes it has BBQ sauce all over the top (yuck) or it's just the pizza sauce. Depends on the time and day. Very annoying.

Something about this Detroit style pizza will change your life. Go for the gusto and turbo your crust... It does get busy, so call your order ahead. Street parking is tight and limited. The lot is for Northside Grill patrons. I've only had the Detroit style Eugene's Supreme and it is delicious and a fave!

The good: customer service, the cheese single slice The meh: wasn't bad, but being from the Midwest and having Jet's all the time, it didn't seem to live up to those locations. May have been an off day and would try again.

This is a really solid pizza. I ordered a fully loaded rectangle pie. They don't overspice it and they don't use much sauce or grease so it's really good for anyone, like me, who gets heartburn from those ingredients. Fresh, great ingredients, good prices. If you crave delicious pizza but worry about your gut afterwards, try this place for a great experience. The service was great too and a clean place.. Not a sit-down spot It's an order and go spot.

Just had their all meat deep dish pizza! This is the best thick crust pizza I've had since I was a kid where my friends and I used to go to Seven Corners for Sicilian Pizza. Been looking for one that is comparable since and never found one until now. Also, delivery driver also very professional and friendly. Wish I knew of this place before!

Amazing, shoutout to the workers staffing the store on Thanksgiving. We are truly thankful for you. Pizza was delicious and honestly better than a lot of gourmet spots here. It was a real treat as we were not able to attend our family dinner. Parking lot is quite small could be a problem on busy days.

I'm baffled that a place that advertises "slices" available all day didn't have any available during "lunch time".... I mean they offered to make it FRESH but it would take 10 minutes.. I had to pass Maybe next time..

Pizza is always great and so it is the service the manager Austin is amazing and always make sure I have one I need his customer service is great! I worked and owned restaurants and Austin is one of a kind! This specifically is the best.

Usually not a fan of detroit style pizza but this was fire! Wings weren't huge , which i LOVE and they were actually well done!

Since I tried Jet's pizza, I don't crave pizza anymore. I crave Jet's pizza. The crust is perfectly crispy or chewy or crunchy depending on the style and it has that perfect balance of tasty oils, salt, and the slightly sweet flavor of flour. Don't know what I mean? Try it. You'll taste for yourself and know. The toppings are really good quality and you start thinking about the next pizza you want to order. They are so delicious.

Awesome Detroit style pizza nice and crispy! Ordered through yelp which gave a pickup time that was much later than the actual time the pizza was ready. They were fast and very professional.

Idk how I went so long having never tried Jets! I attended a football watch party at a friends house (they are from Detroit) and they ordered jets. One slice in and I knew I'd be a forever customer! Sure enough 2 weeks later I found myself in Jets picking up an order placed online. This is the BEST pizza in the area! It's thick and made with high quality ingredients! I will say the night I stopped in the physical shop it was packed! It was a Friday night, and the line extended down the entire shop and out into the parking lot. Even for those of us who had placed an order ahead of time they were running slightly behind getting those orders out so there was a lot of standing around. However, upon arrival, I simply told them I was there to pick up my order and they started working on it right away so that I could grab it quick-ish and head out. I was there for about 10 minutes? Note if you are placing an order online, be advised that the wait will be probably closer to 45 minutes and there's no need to come early because the pizza is not ready LOL. But trust me it's worth the wait and by the amount of customers there I can say that others agree.

The store itself was great, good parking, fast service. I never tried Detroit style and I thought the dough tasted raw. However, after finishing two slices and a few hours, I was craving it more! I don't know if it's the hype that's making me crave more. But at first bite, it wasn't that big of a deal.

When we tried making food at home and it got messed up, we ordered Jet's for the first time and had it delivered. We got the thicker pizza and were able to personalize our toppings on either side of the pizza. With delivery it was a bit expensive but if you picked it up yourself it would be pretty normal. I thought it was very doughy in a good way and the toppings were awesome. I took one star off though because the sauce needs more spices! Oregano and basil and whatever else - just put spices in. I will try again.

Just over five years ago, I had Jet's Pizza for the first time in Greensboro, and then totally forgot about them... until a friend told me they just opened up in Northern Virginia. Needless to say, I was excited to have it again after such a long time without it. I got a 4 Corner Pepperoni Pizza and Cinnamon Stix. The food did not blow me away; the pizza was solid, and the cinnamon Stix were a little drier than I would have liked. However, it's good enough that I'll be back, and a better option than Emmy Squared for sure.

With the promos and discounts - it's a good deal. I'm not even a deep dish fan but their 8 corner pizza is on a different level. They've automated most of the ordering process, so it's very efficient. Their wings aren't bad either.

I tried the Eugene Supreme pizza. The pizza I ordered was lacking tomato sauce. I also felt prices were kind of high for a personal size pizza. And the popcorn chicken was over cooked and dry. The toppings were good and the crust and texture of the pizza were fine too.

The pizza is amazing ! The crunchy and crispy corners add extra flavor to an already flavorful pizza. The ambiance is nice. You can see the cooks preparing the pizza as you walk in. You have the option carry-out or order delivery. You can also text your order and receive 15% off of your order! I chose to text my order and I got the 8 corner pepperoni pizza. I was told my wait would be 40 minutes. I arrived to pick up my pizza, and it wasn't ready yet so I had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Although the wait was long, the service was amazing and so was the food. The next time I order I will order with a few extra moments to spare.

I am addicted to Jet's pizza because the sauce is THE BEST. I've lived in the DC area for almost 13 years and finding decent pizza has been a challenge. (That's probably why I always make sure I grab at least one slice whenever I'm back in NYC.) I kept hearing good things about Jet's and this location is only half a mile from our house so I had to give it a try. I love that they offer several different styles of crusts but their sauce, cheese, and toppings are consistent. I also love their online ordering system and how easy it is to use. Service is quick and reliable. Price is great for the value.

This is the real stuff. Growing up in Detroit, Jet's was our "everyday" pizza place. Not an attempt to be fancy like Emmy Squared, just the basics and they do it well. I'm happy to see that this Jet's is completely consistent with their Michigan locations and haven't skipped a beat translating their delicious pizza to the DMV. This is not Chicago-style pizza. It's thick, but it's on an airy, fluffy type of dough, not dense. A normal portion is 3 square pieces, 4 would fill up someone hungry, and 2 someone with a lighter appetite. They also have really good salads, recommend the antipasto. A couple of tips from a seasoned Jet's eater: 1) While they offer round pizzas, keep to the square Detroit-style side of the menu. The corners are the best pieces, so the 8-Corner Large is where it's at. 2) Go for the Turbo Crust, a free seasoning that they put along the edges. 3) The Ranch dressing is made in-house. In Michigan, this is a form of liquid currency and if you want the full experience, dip your pizza in a side of their ranch. When I arrived for my carry-out order, clearly word had spread. The narrow entryway leading up to the register was several customers deep, with a second line against the wall of people waiting. My online order was ready at the promised time so no issues there. Staff was working hard and the guy at the register was friendly and efficient. There's nowhere to sit inside so be aware that this is carryout and delivery only.

I should preface my review by saying that when it comes to pizza, I suppose I fit the "traditionalist" definition. I grew up in a Sicilian family and my grandmother made homemade pizza on the reg. Also, having spent my childhood and teen years in Western Pennsylvania just outside of Pittsburgh, there was no shortage of excellent pizza and Italian food to be found. While I'm not opposed to trying different takes on the pie, I find myself always returning to classic Neapolitan for my pizza fix. So, I did react with a degree of (hopefully) good natured skepticism when a friend of mine who grew up in Detroit went into a state of near ecstasy upon learning that long standing Detroit pizza institution Jet's was opening a location close by. Detroit pizza is a bit of a amped up take on rectangular/square deep dish Sicilian style which can be hit or miss for me. At times, the crust can be too spongy and the grease factor can be high as well. Well, I've had Jet's twice and I'm pleasantly surprised and impressed! Both times, I ordered the 8 corner with bold/cupped pepperoni. I was advised that choosing the multi-topping options can negatively affect the crust as the toppings melt through and add too much moisture, taking away some of the crunch of the crust. So, the crust is really fantastic...just the right amount of crunch and chewy quality, and a minimum of grease. The sauce is an excellent melding of tart and sweet...it does veer toward being just a slight touch sweeter than I normally go for, but the offsetting tartness provided a rich complexity. The pepperoni was spicy and not overly salty which is a big plus, and just the right amount of Mozzarella was used. This is a very substantial pizza, and reheats extremely well. It's not going to replace my favorite Neapolitan places, but for a change of pace it's a winner. The place was super busy when I went to pick it up and staff seemed a touch harried, but they were handling the requests well.

Amazing food. Service was superb. Store and ambiance was very nice and clean. Wife and I drove all the way from Waldorf, MD to try this pizza and it was well worth the drive. We absolutely loved it. Next time we purchasing two, eat one now and freeze one for another days meal. Great find.

Oh my gosh- there was a belligerent man yelling at staff. He was sooooo out of line I hope he gets banned for life. Your staff was so sweet and I hope that mans order gets dropped on the floor. He was pounding on the counter and demanding his pizza. I just got home and the pizza was delicious and the boneless wings are amazing. The staff did great and I hope they have a nice evening.

Beware of using the mobile application. I ordered a JET 10 specialty Pizza using their hot deal on the movile app. On the confirmation screen the specific type did not show up and I assumed it was correct when paying for the pizza. When I arrived to pick it up, I was given a All Meaty pizza which has many fewer toppings and is cheaper. See attachments. The Manager, Sean, did make it right with me and corrected the error in order.

I'm a pizza lover, so I was excited to get a new place here in Del Ray/Alexandria. Tried for first time tonight and really liked it. They describe their pizza style as Detroit, which I thought tasted like deep dish or Sicilian (although Sicilian is more doughy, this pizza had nice crispy edges). Fresh ingredients, perfectly baked. House salad was fresh and good too. They had other styles of pizza as well as sandwiches, which we'll try next time. Order ready on time and friendly staff. Welcome to the neighborhood!

I ordered on a weekend night. There was alittle bit of a delay so I called the shop for an ETA. The person that picked up was quick, precise, and friendly. The delivery driver was so kind. Food was still hot and delicious. This is my first time ordering from them. 10 out of 10 would do it again (8/23/24 at 8:30-9pm. I didn't catch the employees names. Leaving time stamp so management know who I'm talking about)

First time trying Jet's ... let's just say it's my new favorite pizza place! I got the Detroit Style Large Pizza Half Pepperoni and Half Cheese with Turbo Crust. The box is heavy when picking it up! The pizza was cooked perfectly too. Cheese to sauce ratio was perfect. The crust was crunchy but the dough was so soft and chewy. The premium cheese definitely hits home in the bite, tastes amazing! The turbo crust which is Parm cheese / Romano cheese and a garlic butter layer is phenomenal. Don't normally leave reviews but this place deserves all the flowers. If you are in the area and want a great tasting Detroit style pizza ... Jet's is your number one choice! Pizza was a 9.2/10 definitely will be back! The service was quick and easy too, ordered online and they had a great deal $17 for a large. It was ready upon arrival only 15 minutes later! Best pizza in VA

The only bummer about this place is that you have to take it somewhere to put it in your face . The service is wonderful. They are friendly, helpful and make fast delicious pizza. We ordered 8 corners which are two smalls which I highly recommend because each slice then has 2 crispy edges and that's what I think makes Detroit pizza the bomb! This is a carry out place so there's no where to eat your pie unless you sit on the planter outside or in your car. We had the cheese pizza and the Eugene supreme and subbed out hamburger for the sausage since we have food allergies. It was hot and crispy. Great crust and sauce. Yummy. You can call ahead or order online. We walked in on a Saturday night and ordered. We didn't realize that they didn't have seating and are only carry out. I'd drive back over here and do carry out because they have great pizza at a decent price and I do like a good Detroit style pizza. The staff there is great! If I lived closer I'd be in trouble . I'd definitely have a pizza belly

Had an appointment in the area and called in my order: 4-corner Detroit, pepperoni and bold pepperoni, mushrooms, extra sauce and butter crust. Zipped past the folks waiting, gave my name and my pie was ready. The gentleman that helped me was so nice. Purchased extra sauce for dipping (I read it's THE BOMB.). Picked up some parm and red pepper packets and the smell all the way home, IN RUSH HOUR, made me want to pull ova! Arrived home and although the pizza was a little cold, I live 25 minutes away in traffic, it still was light and tasty. The pizza sauce really is THAT GOOD. The toppings tasted fresh and I felt like it was worth the extended drive. ONE MAJOR POINT TO MAKE....THAT CRUST! LAWD! TBH, I love a thinner crust but I do miss PH PPP back in the day, hence my Jet's venture. THAT CRUST DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Light and buttery. I ate a whole slice and did not feel weighted down - NO CARB COMA HERE

Timing of food. We normally like Jet's and get it as a special treat. We ordered online and received a pickup time of 6:07 pm. I arrived at the designated pick up time. The food was not ready until 6:27!!! There is no where to wait and the cashier (both of them) seemed incompetent. The food is placed in a warmer and you have to ask the cashier, repeatedly, if your food is ready. The order number is not easily readable on the e-mail receipt, so it causes much confusion. The food has cooled appreciably when you finally get your order. Food needs to get out on time or change the pick up time on the receipt. This results in people standing in the extremely small entry sneezing and coughing on each other waiting 20 minutes past pick up time for food. Meanwhile people just keep pouring into the store expecting their food to be ready and having to wait. I have suffered through this process several times and will not do it again. Although good Detroit style pizza, Jet's either needs a larger location or better staff. Poor showing tonight!!! They also offer nothing to make up for the unreasonable wait times!

I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob and love pizza in many styles, I haven't found a place in the DMV yet that has totally knocked my socks off either deep dish pizza. I was excited to try JET's deep dish for Saturday night dinner. We ordered takeout the aloha bbq pizza (no bacon, sub green peppers), a garden salad, and cinnamon sticks. The pickup time was pretty fast for a Saturday night and when it arrived, it was very hot and looked great. I loved how the bbq sauce was drizzled all over the top. First bite was good, nice flavor combo and crispy, buttery crust. Second bite made me realize that my search continues I felt there could have been more pineapple and chicken specifically on the pizza, while it wasn't bad, I wasn't wowed by it. The salad was extremely disappointing it was iceberg lettuce haphazardly chopped with tons of olives, green peppers and red onions on top. My companion ate the cinnamon sticks and loved them. I liked all the different offerings and pizza styles this place has so I'll try them again in the future.

Expected it to be average pizza but they are doing there THANG at jets pizza. GET THE EUGINE ZA

Our pick up order got screwed up and my husband was given the wrong order. He didn't realize until he got home (25 min drive each way). The absolutely amazing news is they apologized, re-made our order, and the manager dropped it at our home (delivery) on their way home. Now that is what I consider above and beyond customer service. Pizza was great as always, and we thank you!!

This is the best deep dish pizza I've had in a while. Hot, fresh, crispy pizza. Just get you a box! 10/10. Didn't mind waiting for this deliciousness to cook to perfection. No seating, just a quick in and out. Customer service is great. Got the double pepperoni with bacon and sausage
