A solid pie This review is based on one pizza. My personal standard, the pepperoni and cheese. I had heard through a few word of mouth recommendations that I should try Jets. Like most I love pizza so had to give it a go. Jets is a delivery style joint, meaning it's not really meant as a sit down, but they do have a small area you can eat. A no frills type of experience. I elected to take it home, so it did cool down a bit. I got the NY style plain crust with extra cheese. The pizza was well done not burned, with a generous portion of pep and cheese, I might have gotten away with a normal amount of cheese most pizza places barely provide enough, I'm looking at you Dominos, so I played it safe. The pizza was quite greasy, but to be expected given the amount of pepperoni. I really liked the crust, even the edge, it tasted fresh. I did see them hand tossing it in the store. Just about the perfect standard pizza profile. Why a 3? It was the sauce, too much tangy basic tasting sauce. It took away from sm otherwise high standard pizza. Maybe I can ask for them to go easy next time, but even then I found it a bit bland very one dimensionsl flavor, no spice, no complexity of flavors, just tomato. All that said, it was good enough to have me thinking of giving them another chance, the rest of the pizza bring better than average. I'll have to update when the time comes.

Tried Jet’s Pizza with Cajun crust + mushrooms, chicken, and beef. We looooved it! The crust had the perfect crisp and seasoning, and the toppings were super flavorful. Definitely ordering again this combo again.

Looking for a quick meal on our family trip to Austin on Christmas Eve after mass and this place was one of the few that was open. They were backed up by 10 minutes (totally understandable given the holiday) but staff was super friendly and they even went out of their way to give us free drinks for the wait. Pizza was a hit with the family!

Perfectly cooked crust, generous toppings, sauce that hits just right, and everything arrives piping hot like it just came out of the oven. If you’re craving pizza in the area, this is the place you don’t want to sleep on! Not saucy - the way i like it, ready in less than ten minutes

My friend ordered pizza from this location and when I went to pick it up at the designated time from the website, they had apparently forgotten to even start making the order. The ticket was just sitting on the prep line while the two guys were talking in a corner until the lady in the front asked them where the order was... I had to wait another 20 minutes before it was done so I could pick it up. The food was good, at least.

I was having an issue with a different Jet’s location and couldn’t get a hold of anyone — I called the location closest to the place was ordered and Ben went above and beyond to try and help the situation. Ben is great and Jet’s pizza as a whole is a great company with great food and great customer service! My pizza eventually was delivered and was so great — thanks again, Ben!!

Great pizza! We ordered a large thin crust pepperoni and a pepperoni calzone — more than enough for four people. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

I had an awesome experience at Jet's Pizza! The employees were nice and funny. Service was clear and prompt. Pizza was DELICIOUS & HOT! I will definitely return in the near future. Yummy!

Jet's Pizza is located where Rockin' Tomato used to be located. They have the best gluten-free Michigan style pan-fried pizza in town! I thought Desano's had the best gluten-free pizza until I tried Jet's. The crust was really crispy, which I loved. I can't eat mozzarella, but I can eat cheddar because it's low lactose. I love that Jet's was able to use only cheddar on my pizza. I just wished they had a location closer to North Austin. I highly recommend Jet's!

Most satisfying pizza I've had in a long while. Maybe ever. I decided to try this spot after seeing an ad in the paper. I know, how old fashioned. I had pretty mid expectations but seeing the Yelp reviews helped persuade me. Here's what you gotta do: get a 4 or 8 corner pineapple and pepperoni "well done". Perfect crispy crust with a soft interior. Cheesy, sweet and savory and just the right amount of oil. I was super surprised how much I enjoyed it, especially being someone who typically seeks out upscale Neapolitan style. I also appreciate how their large size is just two smalls put together so you get two full crusts around the inside. Well done. I'll be back when I need a fix.

Solid, reliable, affordable Detroit style. If you're hosting a large get together and want to bulk introduce people to Detroit style pizza this is a great option! The best part of their pizza is the crust. It has the perfect balance of crisp and cheesiness and is absolutely the star of their pizza. The other aspects of the pizza are all just okay. The cheese and bread in particular leave a bit to be desired, but aren't subpar enough to make me disappointed given the price point Most Detroit style places I've gone to have been sit down, higher end takes. I don't think it's fair to compare Jet's to those places on quality since they're playing a different game. In terms of value, I'd say you get more bang for your buck at jets than via. But if you're looking to treat yourself, I think it's worth splurging for the higher end version of Detroit style With all that said, I can't imagine one coming away from here disappointed if they have appropriate expectations. The employees are friendly, they have a ton of different options to fit pretty much any dietary restriction. I can't imagine one asking for more form a neighborhood pizza place

Best Detroit style pizza in Austin! The service here is so fast and friendly. We ordered and ate in the restaurant and it was the perfect experience! Great decorations and tables! I will definitely be back to Jet's to try other toppings and pizzas.

We used to frequent here a lot but it's gotten very expensive we miss eating here as the food is amazing. We have had the honor to meet the owner of this location multiple times and he's super friendly kind and really takes good care of his customers. Open late for drunk pizza. Take your date here on the way home to carb up first. This jawn felt like an old school pizzeria and I'm all for it.

Been wanting to try this place forever and upon arriving at a different Jets they didn't offer dine it, but luckily this one was close enough....and they definitely killed with there food...of course dining in mean a bit of a wait but those pizzas were fresh and hot. I wouldn't go with anything else except the 4/8 corner pies as that crispy cheesy edges set it off. The crust itself out of the oven is pillowy and delicious.Even cold the next day that crust/edges were the bomb. And the Triple Cheese Turbo sticks could be a meal all on its own...Super Friendly service and great food!...The perfect Combination!

Pizza is such a contentious subject with so many styles and preferences, but Jet's is a nice addition to Austin. Since there's another detroit style pizza spot in Austin that's more established here, it's only fair to compare, and I still think Via 313 is better. I generally prefer more toppings/sauce over crust, so NY style thin crust is still my favorite. I enjoy Via 313 more because I think it has more emphasis on cheese/toppings when compared to Jet's, which seems to put more emphasis on the dough/crust. The pizza was very tasty, and the bread was crispy, but I'm just not a bread person. Still, it's a pizza chain so its quality is really quite good for a pizza chain, but definitely not as cheap as the usual Domino's chains. Overall, worth trying if you enjoy Detroit-style pizzas.

Ok, I'd give 5 stars for the simple 4 corner pepperoni - stay away from the bbq and Hawaiian bbq- it's those in particular that lost one star. That and the next time you have an Elite Yelpers event to boost your rating? Encourage them to be original. If every single elite Yelper review didn't mention "Detroit style pizza" I would never know you have "Detroit Style Pizza". But now I'm familiar with "Detroit Style Pizza". Because every review about "Detroit Style Pizza" sounds the same- as every other "Detroit Style Pizza" review for your "Detroit Style Pizza," what're the odds of that?

I lived in Columbus Ohio for 10 years and Jets has always been a Midwest pizza chain I really enjoyed. Very very happy that Jet's is available in central Austin and I had to pick up my all time favorite, the supreme. I love the thick, crispy, buttery crust and the marinara sauce is sweet, tangy, with a good strong robust tomato flavor. Much better than your typical pizza chain. All the ingredients are fresh on the supreme and it was topped to the very very end, high quality, meats and vegetables. You have to get a side of ranch and dip it into the pizza, whoa Umami Umami! A pizza for less than $20, it's not cheap compared to other main stream pizza businesses but it's well worth the flavor and taste. It's happy food and it makes you feel happy inside.

Unfortunately I avoided this place initially because I am generally not a fan of franchises... but wow I was wrong on this one. The crust is incredible... golden brown and crispy.., sauce is light and flavorful, and a great cheese ratio. This place is awesome and very reasonably priced. I love that they serve individual slices, so many places want you to buy a whole pie. Customer service here is excellent, an indication of quality management or ownership... it's rare nowadays.. and appreciated. Happy it's in the neighborhood.. can't wait to come back.

Austin has such an incredible pizza variety and Jet's has come to play! Location - South Lamar venue is a very typical pizza-joint with Italian-colored tiling and basic tables, nothing to get overly excited about. Admittedly, this pizza joint is likely a take-home/take-out preferred option. Pizza - DAMN, this is good. I recently fell in love with Detroit style pizza (offered at a few other Austin locations) and knew I had to try this out when it made its debut. Definitely order the 4-corner or 8-corner because you'll want the crunchy edges with crispy cheese on all pieces! My order: - 8-corner Detroit style - Hawaiian x 4 slices + Pepperoni x 4 slices. Seriously YUM! - Caesar salad - Small is good for two people as a yummy side! Staff - Very friendly and very helpful! Its a large menu so feel free to ask away! I know its a chain (sigh) but it definitely knows its pizza!

Those 4 and 8 corner pizzas are SO delicious and their delivery service was excellent! The website said it would take an hour, but it arrived in 20 mins. I'm very happy with them.

The crust was nice and crispy!!! I had a vegetarian option that was delicious. My boyfriend didn't like that his side of the pizza was over cooked and the staff made him a small pizza. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly

I've only ever had their pepperoni pizza slices here and they're honestly really good. One time I even asked for a slice and they gave me 2 slices instead of 1. Maybe it was because it was late at night? Still I thought that was amazing of them to be so giving with their pizza to customers. One of these days I will try out their pizza, just too busy being obsessed with via 313 and arpeggios lately lol

I LOVE the taste of this pissa (that letter doesn't work, Lol) but there is just SOMEthing missing regarding the crust. But first, the staff are always polite and friendly. One guy even called me when I accidentally ordered the wrong type of pissa online; he recognised me a regular who orders a specific pissa so he called to ask if that was, in fact, what I meant to order and it was a good thing he called because I had made a mistake when I ordered it. Thank you. I usually order the New York style Super Special which has a decent amount of toppings and flavorful sauce. But the middle of the pissa is extremely thin and is ALWAYS soggy. ALWAYS. And the outer edges of the crust is tough and stale. I normally can eat only two slices so I put the rest in a container and heat it up later. But the middle is just too soggy - you can't even fold it like a regular "New York style" pissa, actually, not even when it is fresh. If they would just do something about the dough, I would give this place 5 stars.

I am probably the most honest person in Austin. So I'm just gonna give it to you straight. This is hands down, the best pho-king pizza in Austin. Just get the Detroit with pepperoni and all will be good in your life.

Heavy but it's delicious. I really like Detroit Style pizza as someone who really enjoys crust and the specimens that come out of Jet's ovens are bronzed on the bottom just the way a good pie should be and not too greasy somehow at the same time (how is it possible that it's heavy but not greasy...?). Toppings are quality and flavorful and don't sog up the pizza. Can't go wrong with a classic pepperoni pie and the chicken bacon ranch is delicious too. Two squares is definitely going to push you into food coma territory, but I think we all were signing up for that on the way in. That said, the cinnamon bread and the salad is pretty underwhelming, but you weren't really coming here for that.

I ordered through the Too Good To Go app for the first time and they had actually already closed their doors for the evening, but their staff still let me in and immediately made me a fresh four corner meaty pizza. Staff apologized for being understaffed that day. I really appreciate the kindness even after I'm sure they had a long day being understaffed and working hard all day. The pizza was absolutely delicious as well! Highly recommend going for their pizza and wonderful staff!

The best DEEP DISH PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD. Be sure to get some extra sauce for dipping, and the ranch is world class! The staff is super friendly and kind! I ate the entire thing by myself, which could've fed 2-3 people... Smoked a little sativa before indulging, man, talk about food sex... I have completely destroyed my diet, but hell... it was worth it. Just a side note, I'm also heavily LACTOSE INTOLERANT, but hey, some things are worth the pain. Big Dan loves jets! P.S. it was fun on the way in, but will likely be a bit intense coming out. Lol, 5 STARS. Gotta go now, must go poooooh!!!

Picked up a small deep dish bbq chicken pizza for dinner. I love thin crust pizza but decided to give their deep dish a try. It was really good and very filling. The two of us only ate 1/2 of the pizza for dinner. The pizza was like Via313. Very nice staff

Watch out now, quicker deep dish pizza has arrived. 5 stars all around. More of your quick pizza concept instead of a sit down restaurant aesthetic. Large menu selection from a wide variety of pizza crust, a gluten-free option , wings, salads, subs and sides. I believe they are mostly known for their Detroit-style deep dish pizza which did hit the spot. My favorite part about the pizza was getting to pick my crust options. Over 8 to choose from. I did end up going with a small pepperoni Detroit-style deep dish with Cajun flavored crust. It was the perfect 1 person portion with 6 "squares". Very cheesy and crispy pepperoni to top it off. Upon entering was greeted by the staff. When ordering online you can choose a scheduled pickup or delivery. They did have a small section of seating inside but I decided to take it home.

It's new it's quick and it's great. I've ordered 3x for pickup and loved it each time. Employees are nice and I have no complaints except that it's slightly too far to walk to to grab. Gotten thin crust anchovies pepperoni and black olive mane New York sausage black olive and mushroom. Both amazing Only New York pictured. It's double cut.

We did the take out order with DoorDash and let me tell you, it was so yummy. This is our first time trying the Detroit style pizza and we love it. We ordered the super special and Hawaiian corner cut. Thinking it is on the thinner side, there was a good amount of bread and the toppings were also very generous. I think a piece to two is enough for a person. The crust is crunch but the middle was soft. Yes the price is more than the regular chain store but you get what you pay for. Would order again.

Great pizza unless you are Lactose Intolerant. Sometimes I get away with it but not with this Pizza. Absolute misery for 2 days. Had to throw the other half away. Shame as it was tasty.

It took me so long to finally try Jet's and I am now a die-hard believer. I have tried the other popular Detroit Style pizza place in town and was never wowed by it, but this pizza is on a whole other level. We love getting our Detroit style pizza "turbo" style which has a garlicky parm brushed on the crust. I also am ADDICTED to their garlic butter dip, it is a game changer! If you love garlic, this will be your go to! You can order through text which is super convenient and they always have the pizza ready by the pickup time. The parking lot can get pretty crowded on a busy night, but there are plenty of parking spots farther away. I will definitely continue to order pizza from here and whole heartedly recommend! (But make sure you get the turbo style and garlic dip because those are the real standouts)

I was introduced to Detroit-style pizza when Via 313 opened a few years ago, and it's been one of our go-to places for pizza. But I always like trying something new, so when Favor suggested Jet's, I was game. I wanted to try their Detroit-style, of course, but I was pleased to see their customizable offerings. Sesame seeds on the crust? Yes, please! We ordered two pizzas and both of us were delighted with the taste and textures. It was so good that we ordered again three days later. We have a NEW favorite pizza in Austin and it's Jet's! Try it, it is seriously delicious, cheesy, and crispy.

Excellent pizza. Great flavor. The dough taste amazing. It's crispy, but not over cooked. Cheese is melty. Highly satisfied. Dopamine is above baseline and will stay for a few hours. 10/10

Tom S. At this location was so rude and flippant towards my friend. When I asked for a manager he came out from the kitchen and started antagonizing us ( he kept coming out from the kitchen to tell us how much he didn't care). Which I did not take kindly to. When we left he hit the glass window with his fist, which I was standing by. Otherwise, Jett's and this location is great. But I won't be back as long as he's there. And check my reviews or lack thereof, I am not some malcontent who just likes leaving bad reviews. This was earned and warranted. If anyone from jets is reading this, your employee is a rude, loose canon and he is a liability to your company.

Not very good pizza. The thin crust was more like cardboard. The deep dish was very greasy. The staff was very friendly. However; it was my first time and the last time I will be eating there.

Well, I'm in Austin visiting and really wanted some pizza, and so this place popped up on yelp. I was a little worried when we arrived, because it wasn't busy and I wondered if they were open. Turns out it was just a quiet time on a holiday and they are still pretty new. Anyway, saw they did the Detroit style deep dish, and we both said yes to that. We did the Hawaiian pizza and it did not disappoint! The crust is so freakin good! Crunchy, buttery, and not too doughy. The guy recommended their homemade ranch and WOW- definitely put the whole experience on another level! Loved it all and need to go back and try the BBQ and also the buffalo ranch. Don't sleep on this place! Also, it's served SO PIPING HOT, so don't stress about taking it home. It will still be hot!

I live close to Jet's but had never tried it. I saw they had gluten free pizza so I checked it out. VERY good pizza for a decent price. It's a take out place. I'll definitely order again.

The first day back in the office after the ice storm when most business was still disrupted and many people were without power, Jet's came through. I ordered 20+ pizzas at 10am and they were delivered hot and delicious and by a friendly face by 11:50. They were stars of the day! Highly recommend.

Jets is the BEST!!!! Haven't actually eaten at this location but I have had it in Detroit and Dallas- deep dish, turbo crust, pepperoni, pineapple and jalepeno with their homemade ranch is bomb HIGHLY, recommend

Pizza is so good, I drive 25 minutes one way! Brings home (Detroit) back to me. So excited Jet's is making its way in Austin. And at this location, you couldn't ask for better service! The crew are always welcoming, friendly and they make my stuff right!!! Oh don't forget to get yourself some ranch - hands down the best!!! Now get over here to the east side, there are definitely some prime spots for y'all!

Wowee we had Jet's for the first time tonight and it blew us away. I hadn't heard of Jet's until we received coupons in the mail and we are so happy we found them! The deep dish crust is unbelievably satisfying, fluffy and toasted to perfection. They make their dough fresh every day, so maybe that's what makes the difference. For reference, Jet's is similar to Via 313, but has less cheese and better crust.

This pizza is so incredibly delicious! I have ordered delivery twice through their website. They were right on schedule the first time and early the second time; both times the pizza was still piping hot, which thrills me. I had never tried Detroit Style before, but having driven by this location I had seen their advertising and had to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I'd like to try everything on the menu, but the 8 Corner is so amazing that I don't know if I can bring myself to order something different. Listen y'all, I don't know if I have ever felt so good eating so much bread! The crust manages to avoid feeling heavy or greasy, and something about it takes me back to my childhood and Friday nights at Pizza Hut with my family (this is high praise, because Pizza Hut was a destination spot and truly the bomb in the early 80's). I strongly suggest you order the butter flavor crust and request a well done bake so those edges are good and crispy. This may be a chain, but it's one I'm happy to have around. They have the magic formula down. A special shout-out to their delivery staff; the drivers are super friendly!

This is insanely great pizza. Detroit style pizza is something I haven't had much of being a native East coaster so lots of NY NJ and CT pizza - which is among the best in the world. But jets opens my palate and taste buds to a whole new world and I'm glad I tried this! This is damn good pizza. I get the classic deep dish and it's just super crisp, soft on the inside, delicious sauce and loads of cheese. Love the burnt edges too! Even the gluten Free crust is absolutely perfection since we have a Gluten allergy in the family. Both the GF and cauliflower crusts are bomb! Luckily this is super close to my current apt I just hope they have one up north near cedar park sometime soon! Or, he'll it's worth the drive! They do have a NY style pizza and I'm sure I'll try it but that's like ordering the burger at a seafood joint so I'll stick to the deep dish!

Got the detroit style BBQ chicken pie, sweet chili boneless wings and a brownie. Everything was pretty good. Boneless better than other pizza chains' iterations. As for the inevitable 313 comparison, the crust is markedly greasier. It's still good.

This place is good! They have a TV for you to watch while you eat. Detroit pizza is so good! I love how they have indoor eating. But keep your mask on until you sit at your table. Decent restrooms. Will be coming back! Gotta love Jet's :)

This is the best Detroit style pizza I have encountered here in Austin, good stuff!!! Order extra crispy...YUM!
