Jet's Pizza

Let me start by saying I stopped eating Jets for a while because the sauce was so bland at other locations. The Midtown Detroit location is the ONLY one who got it right! I only eat cheese pizza and there's I'd the best. The sauce is flavorful, the crust is nice and crispy! Customer service is stellar In person and over the phone. Don't sleep on Jets in Midtown they're the best!!!

This place was great for many years. Then it wasn't. I took about six months off of coming here. The last two weeks tried again, both orders were wrong. I wanted a jet boat w romano but no mozz. For years this wasn't an issue. Last two weeks not only was there no romano, also didn't get garlic crust I requested. I hope they can get their quality control under control one day, but I'll have to switch locations.

It's the best pizza ever! It was cheesy, delicious, and had a super crunchy crust. We were glad we stopped by during our visit to Detroit. We found paid parking in front of the store.

I ordered a four corner pepperoni , Bacon, and banana peppers pizza from this place and you should’ve seen what they sent me. This is a disgrace you called us a pizza and I pay $20 for this pizza. I am very upset. I’ve contacted Instacart and Uber eats. They’re not gonna do anything this is ridiculous

I ordered online for delivery a few hours later. After 45 mins went by my delivery time, I called the store. I was informed that I should have called the store to confirm my online order (does that not defeat the point of online ordering?). I was told my order would be out next, however it didn’t show up for another 40 mins despite living less than 5 mins from this location. My pizza arrived lukewarm and all in all 2 hours late.

Just staying up here for a night and wanted to try some new pizza, was tired of all the normal fast food chains so asked around and was pointed in this direction. The pizza was great and the staff was friendly as well. Definitely wasn’t expecting it to turn out the way it did with it being a huge city but was definitely better then expected

Jets pizza always hits. It’s a go-to in my apartment when I have people over or just want an easy dinner. I love their deep dish pizza with chicken or pepperoni. Obviously it’s a chain so there will be mixed opinions and experiences, but it’s never let me down in the last year.

Pizza tasted amazing! It was fresh and arrived sooner than promised. Service was patient and friendly. Immediate neighborhood seems a bit sketchy but was fine.

Love Jets! Reliable and fast. Great pizza that somehow always arrives hot and they aren't trying to charge 35 bucks for a pizza.

Ok. Its Jet's. Food is great if you like Jet's pizza (I do) and if you don't that's on you. Service at this location (Cass Corridor) is pretty awful after 5 pm. Have stood at the front counter for 5 minutes or more on two occasions recently without anyone taking my order or saying anything to me - all while employees were making pizzas about 10 feet away. Other employees walked past to take a smoke break out front. Then when I tried to get someone in the back's attention on the most recent trip, I was yelled at to "just wait." Won't go back here after 5 pm in the future.

Absolute disaster anymore! Use to love the pizza but service has been horrible for years-this is the Pontiac trail location in south lyon- complete failure as a business

The small pizza was smaller than I expected, though to be fair the site didn't pay any kind of dimensions for each size. I definitely would've ordered larger if I'd known what to expect. The driver was definitely speedy, though he dusted in his car until after texting me to ask where I was (in the lobby, the only one in the lobby of the hotel). I don't make a habit of waking up to strange cars, even uber's I check the plates of, sho I wasn't about to go up to any car parked at a stop sign. I had also ordered extra parmesan, but instead of on the pizza, it was scattered ask astound the pizza. That was a decoration I could've lived without. The pizza itself was good, but the driver and the parmesan detracted from the experience as a whole

I had no luck ordering pizza at a nearby pizza place in Corktown which led me to venturing out, ending up at Jet's Pizza thanks to Yelp! Jet's was the only pizza place open late that I trusted and only 2 miles away from Corktown. Via Yelp, I ordered the veggie pizza which was the only option I had an interest in as a vegetarian carb loading for Detroit Free Press Marathon. If I were not utilizing a GPS, I would not have known Jet's was located in this space because there was no sign. And if I would have visited to order rather than online, the exterior would have completely turned me off because it didn't appear very appealing. Another thing I wasn't fond of was the parking, which is terrible outside of the restaurant. I ended up parking in an unorthodox spot within the neighborhood because I hoped to be in-and-out. Furthermore, the interior of the restaurant eased my feeling of "Oh boy, what did I get myself into" because it appeared a little more maintained than the exterior of the storefront. There really wasn't any mandate on mask coverings at this business. Coming from Chicago I still went on and wore one inside because who knows who has been vaccinated or not. Upon arrival I had hoped that my order would have been near completed, but it wasn't! The wait felt longer than what it should have been, but while waiting for it to be completed I got some laughs in at the employees whose conversations I overheard. They obviously didn't care that there could have been customers in the dining area by their conversations, but I've honestly heard worse. I do give credit to some of the employees who checked on me as I waited for my order; there were at least three of them that checked on me during the time. I enjoyed the veggie pizza, but it was a little too much for me. I ended up not finishing it all for my carb loading in prep for the Detroit Free Press Half Marathon. I wish it would have come in four squares rather than six squares. As for future orders at Jet's, the veggie pizza will definitely be one of my go to choices in the form of individual squares. All in all I had a pleasant experience at this location. If you are looking for a pizza place open late, that will certainly not let you down then look no further than Jet's Pizza. ~Blessings~   Thomas G

The food was hot and warm and was absolutely delicious! The barbecue chicken's sauce was delicious and not just straight barbecue. Amazing food and some of the best pizza I ever had! The service was quick and easy and they made sure our order was correct! I will be coming back!

I come from California so the Chicago, Detroit, New york etc. pizza was new to me. I came to Jet's not really knowing what to expect both from the location and the flavor. I have to admit when you come into the location it doesn't look very inviting. There is limited seating, its very small, a little dirty and the location is not the greatest. That being said, the food here is very good. Everytime I got pizza, wings or cinnamon sticks I was never disappointed, the food was so good! The nice part is, if you are a Wayne State student they more likely than not deliver to your residence halls and you can use your warrior dollars. So if you don't want to walk at night, it is very convenient.

By far the worst jet's pizza I've ever had. If someone say they don't enjoy jet's pizza it's probably because this is the first and only place they've had jet's from. I've had jet's from many different locations. Stopped here because i m working in the area and wanted a quick bite to eat. Purchased a couple of slices of pepperoni pizza and the quality was horrible, didn't even taste like jet's.

The last three time I ordered from Jets they told me my order would be ready at a certain time and after they served 4 people who walked in after me mind you i phoned the order in and im always prompt 30 mins latter I had to ask again for my order they obviously are very unorganized they must not care if they lose customers three tries all late they said they were busy but i was the only one in there and 3 employees hanging on the counter i see real busy not

Jets corporate is horrible horrible horrible. I've ordered from the Jets on Jefferson in Detroit and each time the pizza was delivered late and cold. I contacted Jets corporate they have an online form where you give them all your personal information and make a complaint.However DO NOT expect to hear anything back from this unscrupulous and shady company.

Literally the shittiest business ever. Their staff is absolutely useless. They close early, refuse delivery and refuse phone orders. Thanks for being trash

3. Should be allowed to call back and change an item on your pizza instead saying it's already in the oven. They are idiots At the Lincoln Park Michigan area.

I love Jet's, most underrated Detroit food place. I have been coming to this location for over ten years and don't understand the low rating. Also, best ranch dressing in the game.

Was told by a local this place was better than Buddy's pizza and reheats better. I ordered the small Jet pizza which comes with bacon, pepperoni black olives, green peppers, onions and on a turbo crust. Very thick crust yet very pleasantly crunchy. I think a toaster oven or in a pan would be best. However for a microwave, it won't be as crunchy. Very good, but I'm still curious about the Wisconsin brick cheddar because here they only use premium mozzarella.

The TV ad boast too much about Jets but there is BETTER pizza out there... Sheilds & Buddys got better sauce, crust & taste..also try Genos of Chicago for true satisfaction.

Horrible. Would give zero stars. Do not order. They delivered us a pizza with all the wrong toppings (all meat - we are vegetarian) and refused to deliver the correct pizza or refund the order. The other item received was burnt and inedible.

Again and Again ! The best location ! I have tried many types of pizza...Jets wins every time! I love the thin crust, deep dish and their delicious salads! The staff are extremely sweet and attentive! Nothing is perfect but they sure do make you feel that it's their goal to make it as close as possible!

I used to order from this place, but when I came in one day, this female nails were extremely long,giving me attitude about a order that was purchased a hour ago. I won't ever eat, or order there again.

Worst service and jets pizza location. Did an online order and received it later than I was supposed to get it. In addition to that, it was cold and it looked like it was sat out for awhile. I understand that it's 20 degrees outside, but when I got it, it looked like it was sat out for more than 30 minutes and it wasn't even in the insulation bag to keep it warm. The delivery driver was rude, the staff was all rude. Also, I got hung up on when I called to verify my order. Was told that they'll make me a new one but why would I want to wait another hour for my pizza? I could've ordered it from the other location and have gotten it faster than they could've gotten it to me. Never again will I order from here. Everyone is better off ordering from the Jefferson location instead.

I placed a pickup order that took 45 minutes after being quoted 25 minutes. The guy at the counter had NO clue what he was doing and my order was wrong! They attempted to give me the right order which was still wrong. Worst experience after a long day at work. I will NEVER go back to this location. Customer service is horrible!!! I spent $25 for a slice of pizza and salad. It was too bad to keep eating. So disappointed!!!!

I needed a few pizza party trays for a mentorship event I was hosting with middle and high school students at a local non profit organization, Downtown Boxing Gym. The owner personally took my order, had his manger call me a few days in advance to confirm the order and the delivery man arrived promptly as scheduled with hot, delicious pizza. The students loved the pizza and it kept the spirits high for a 4 hour seminar on careers and internships. This is a fantastic store that cares about the community as well as the service it provides for its customers THANK YOU JETS MIDTOWN!!

Came in for a drink and a snack. Not much of a variety. We were also put in a corner where there was no view even having other tables available. Won't be coming here again

I ordered from grub hub cuz I didn't have many options.. the delivery time was great but the pizza was disgustingggg. Never again.

I ordered through Door Dash a simple pepperoni pizza, nothing special. However, when I received it my pizza had barbecue sauce on it completely ruining the pizza for me. When I called this location there were no apolologies. They only offered to allow me to come in for a new pizza which completely counteracted me wanting my pizza delivered. Will never order from here again.

I ordered from here through DoorDash because I was in town visiting and not happy at all. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza along with the All Meaty Pizza. They gave me little to no chicken on the BBQ Chicken Pizza. You don't get half paid for the pizza so why do you feel it's ok to cheap out on what should be on food? This makes no sense that a restaurant feels that it's fair to cheap their customers.

Tonight was the last time I'll pay for the privilege of eating raw dough. At this point, Motor City, Jolly Pumpkin or even Sgt.Pepperoni's are better options in the area. Pie Sci even more so if you drive out a bit.

I called on 5/21/2020 and they hung up on me. Twice. I was asking a question and the lady on the phone just couldn't be bothered being civil. Such a rude person.

Probably the worst location I've ever ordered from. All Employees have terrible attitudes. Wouldn't even trust the food they serve. Can't even show a picture of the food cause I never received it due to their poor customer service.

This location has really stepped up their game over the last year or so, quality and consistency has been spot on!

We ordered our pizza online. For whatever reason, the website would not show that we were using a card. So my husband calls to give them the information and was greeted by a very impatient staff member. He tried to give her a reference number and explain that he was unable to put his card information on the online order. He gave her his name and she could not locate the order. He again asked her if she wanted the reference number. She declined. He gave her the email attached to the order. She still had difficulty locating the order and he again asked if she wanted the order reference number. When she was finally able to locate the order, he paid, repeating the card number twice. He was told that it should be delivered within 40 minutes. After waiting an hour and. 15 minutes, with no pizza in sight, he called back. He asked why the pizza had not been delivered yet. After having difficulty locating the order again, she informs him that they do not deliver in the area. Even though the website directed him to this location for delivery. He asked why no one had called to inform him. She very rudely responded that they we're very busy. She then proceeded to offer to refund the money, as if she was doing him a favor, instead of what she was legally obligated to do. It makes me wonder if she would have refunded the money at all if he had not called back. Although the delivery order could have been stopped when the order was originally placed or when he called to give payment information or in the hour and 15 minutes before he called back, they felt that it was completely acceptable to neglect a customer and and the family he was trying to feed, which included children. Disgracefully poor customer service and business practices. THIS REVIEW IS ZERO STARS FOR THE AMOUNT OF PIZZA AND BASIC RESPECT WE WERE GIVEN!

If you're looking for "Detroit style pizza," be careful to order ONLY a small or a large. If you order a medium pizza, you'll be surprised with a nothing special, regular old pizza, circle in shape and no caramelized crust. The truth is, this pizza tastes like it's just terrible for you, and it's no Chicago pizza, but it's the quick pizza to get in Detroit, as far as I know. Small or large for caramelized crust!

I've been ordering pizza from this location pretty regularly since Covid started. I've never had an issue with anything I've ordered, and the delivery people have always been friendly and accommodating. I ordered pizza today with instructions that my order should be left near the front entrance of my building. Some guys got there before me and stole it. When I checked with the driver via text to make sure he left it in the usual spot, he called me to ask what happened. I told him it was my fault for not grabbing the food fast enough, but he insisted on bringing me a new pizza within 15 minutes at no cost to me. That's five-star service all the way!

So, about 5 months ago, as a treat for my students pizza from this Jet's location and let's just say we never got our order. I ordered it online and they somehow lost my order even though I had a confirmation number for the order. So, 2 days ago, we decided to try to order again from this location. We were under a tight deadline, so we made sure we had a cushion on time! That didn't matter, they came 45 minutes late. Then to top it off, the delivery guy was acting as though he was contracted with Jet's. I said they were terrible...he said, not me, I didn't do that! Sir, you work for Jet's, your entire store is terrible!

I really enjoy Jets pizza. However, I will never order from this location again. I placed an online order for delivery and the confirmation screen stated "There is no need to call to confirm your order. Real people monitor every order that is placed, and will make sure your order arrives timely. If you call for confirmation, a duplicate order may be placed." 20 minutes after my food was supposed to be delivered I called to check on the status of my order. I was told that nobody monitors the online orders. Additionally, the only way they would have known about my order was if I had called to confirm, basically implying I was at fault for not calling despite the online confirmation and message. Huge disconnect between the online system and the in-store fulfillment which created a very disappointing experience.

This place is beyond bad. If they had negative stars I would give them that. The person answered the phone like he was talking to some homeboy in the street. Very unprofessional. To think I just ordered a jets pizza in Troy 2 days ago and got great service and the driver got a 10 tip from me. These idiots don't will realize there are more places to get better pizza delivered in the Midtown area than Jets. Good luck keeping up with your competition. Worst customer service ever and lazy workers. If you're picking up an order from this location, expect an extra hour for your scheduled pickup time. If you're getting delivery, expect 2.5 additional hours for your schedule delivery time (& cold pizza). Not worth it. Don't waste your money or time.

Our Detroit non-profit organization (Give Merit) has been continually impressed by the generosity of the Jet's Midtown location. For the past three years they have provided a generous discount to our annual Student Showcase event for our high school students. Each year, our order arrives on time exactly the way we ordered it and it tastes delicious! Everyone dives right into the pizza and salad! The owner Scott was extremely helpful, quick with communication, and very friendly. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for pizza, and especially for a large event! Thank you Jet's Pizza in Midtown for your generosity and great service!

This is the worst Jet's location. It's like you aren't even eating Jet's pizza. The pizza is always overcooked, burnt, or dry.

I'd offered to buy my staff lunch one tuesday morning and they all agreed pizza sounded good. Me, being the clock-watcher, decided we'd get Jet's instead of our normal office go-to of Amiccis. WRONG. I ordered online from Jets at 11:20am. When I ordered, the site and e-mail said it'd be about an hour. 12:30 rolls around and still no pizza. At 12:50 I called the location and he said that the site is wrong and it's supposed to be an hour and a half, but that he'd give me 10% off my order for waiting so long. The pizza should be there within 15 minutes. Note: my office is 4 blocks from this location. I could literally walk there in 20. So the waiting game continued. At 1:22, the Jets driver calls me on the phone to tell me he's here. Pizza isn't really cold, but definitely isn't hot. It does, however look like it's been under the heat lamp for a while. The grease was so thick that I might start using it to fix squeaky doors around town. Staff didn't mind though; I'd already ordered them JJ's before the Jet's showed up. 5 sandwiches ordered an hour and a half after the pizza and delivered 20 minutes before the Jets guy stumbled through the door. Never again, Jet's. Anyone wanna buy some bad pizza?

Just too disappointing $20 for cheese !! That was dry, hard & nassy!! Never ever again will I order from Jet's I promise on everything that I can't stand.

So, I am somewhat of a Jet's pizza connoisseur, as it has to be my favorite chain pizza, so my review probably has to be taken with grain of salt, but....I have had nothing but positive experiences here. As background, I have ordered from the Jet's on Michigan before, and it was absolutely disgusting, which I thought was impossible. Since moving back to Detroit, I have ordered from this store multiple times and it has always been great. The customer service has always been really good and fast (though, it has always been picked up, not delivered, so I can't speak to that), and we have always had special orders and they have always nailed it. By the way, deep dish with cajun all over and turbo crust...you will not be disappointed.

I KNOW as soon as I drop this review I'm going to lose all my Yelp respectability and street cred... no one will take my reviews seriously... and I'll be shunned by those peers who also conceitedly believe they are people "of taste" (like myself)... but, here goes Jets Pizza on Vernor gets 3 stars just for having one particular product, and the ONLY thing I ever order from there... the SMALL DEEP-DISH pepperoni and tomato. I phone it in for carry-out. It's ready in 12 minutes. Costs me $7 bucks. And I'm home again within minutes. Shlepped onto a plate and served up with a frosty bottle of Boylan's cola... a heavenly Thursday night :D There's just something about chain-pizza deep-dish that I'm a sucker for. Yeah yeah, I've had real Chicago deep dish pizza IN Chicago... I know what deep-dish artisans are capable of... but it's not my thing. And of course of course, I've tried Buddy's and yes it's as delicious as sin... obviously superior to Jets measured by the quality of ingredients and sheer density... but it costs an arm and a leg for what it is... essentially a little heart-attacked wrapped in a bouquet of awesome flavors. If I'm going to die, I want to die happy, and I want to die happy and with some chump change in my pocket! And something about Buddy's crust doesn't fully absorb and then reliquify the vital and life-bearing grease that makes a chain-deep-dish so delicately and complexly evil. Let me leave it at this, Jets small deep-dish with pepperoni and tomato is better than Pizza Hut's ... that's right... and I'm gonna let it just sit in the room like that and make everyone else uncomfortable... (Finally, there's something about buying nasty-ass pizza behind two layers of bullet-proof plexiglass that makes the whole experience somewhat transcendent. keep it classy SouthWest)

The employer was very rude and was not communicating to customer properly.They gave me wrong order I have ordered XL they gave me large and charged me for XL which I felt was really not good.
