Jet's Pizza

Even though they’re one of the few places open until 2am, this isn’t just a “late night desperation” choice l, I’d order from here anytime. Their Detroit-style pizza is fantastic with those crispy, crunchy edges that make every single piece a perfect corner piece (genius move!). The cheese is perfectly melted and generous. Occasionally the sauce can be a touch bitter, but it actually balances well with the rich cheese. Solid choice when you’re craving authentic Detroit-style pizza, late night or not!

I’ve only ever ordered takeout from Jet’s through apps. However, once when an order was messed up, I called the store and was greeted by one of the most professional and polite people I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with in New York City customer service. I really enjoy the pizza here and love how different it is from the standard New York City slice. It reminds me of the pizza I grew up with.

OMG!!! I really wanted to like this pizza I tried to! I ordered the 8 Corner Pizza with butter garlic crust, Romano, bacon, and pepperoni, which came out to about $42. For that price, I was definitely expecting better. I’m a foodie who has had pizza all over New York so I was excited to finally try Jet’s since it came highly recommended by someone I know. I think maybe I anticipated it too much and that’s what really came as a disappointment. The bacon and pepperoni were actually great but the sauce just wasn’t it. It had this off tangy taste that completely threw off the whole flavor. I even tried to season it myself to make it better but it still didn’t do it. I barely got through the first slice before giving up smh!!!! Maybe it was just an off day for them but for $42 this pizza didn’t live up to the hype at all. Definitely not something I would go out of my way for again.

We walked by and saw that slices were $4, so we thought “why not?” Service was quick and friendly. We got a pepperoni square and it’s not the best and freshest slice but it’s definitely worth the price. Looking forward to splitting a 4-slice pie next time.

This jets is trash and nasty. Always over cooking the pizza and the white girl who’s always taking the order is always rude and always looking like she severely doesn’t want to be there from her tone to her grumpy robotic demeanor and frown she has on her face when taking the orders and working on the food. HORRIBLE. I like the Jets pizza quality at the Manhattan locations better and the customer service at those were always respectful.

I saw an employee take out the trash twice and then immediately come back inside to work the counter and handed my pizza without washing his hands. Very concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Pizza was good though...

I'm from Alabama. Worked in Charlotte North Carolina for 4 years... This was the 2nd time I was introduced to jet's Pizza. I haven't seen this since 2016. I could never imagine in my wildest dreams that a pizza could taste this good. It's the crust. The cheese that bakes into the crust, and then that buttery crispy crust when it comes out of the pan. The sauce is pretty good too. This is the first time I've ever had pizza sauce that doesn't burn when I eat it. That's how you can tell the pizza is really good is the sauce. All I got to say is stand back.. 😂😂👑👑❤️❤️ You won't be disappointed.

I was so hungry. Would even eat a Detroit-style pizza in Brooklyn. It hit the spot. The square, pretty deep pizza “slice” was good. I got 4 pepperonis on it. And a bottle of pepsi. I then decided to weirdly snap 47 photos of this tiny place while the one worker wasn’t looking. I think she saw me though. There was a camera on me the whole time.

I went there with Domino's expectations and was disappointed in myself for judging a book by it's cover. Jet's is pretty phenomenal. This is coming from a true New York Pizza snob. Kinda. I mean, good pizza is good pizza and Jet's serves up some good 'za. # chefkiss From the moment you take a bite, you'll experience a pillowy yet firm dough that melts in your mouth, paired with a pleasantly crisp crust that creates an awesome combination and pleasing mouthfeel. Look at all the effort that went into that sentence! So eloquent. Jet's pizza deserves the effort. Why? My mom is a fan. She's not hard to impress but she doesn't really go in for 30 minutes about stuff. She did. Anyway, the pizza is great. We've ordered for pick-up twice and the pizza was still warm and deliciously crispy by the time we got home. Price is pretty solid and they offered a welcome coupon. tl;dr: Solid pizza. Definitely recommend.

Love the pizza! It's delicious and love that they have a lunch time deal! The pizza at times takes a little longer than they initially tell you but it's worth the wait.

I have a truly soft spot for Jet's. Of course I love NY-style pizza as much as the rest of us, but once in awhile there is something so satisfying about a thick, bready, not-too-saucy slice of pizza. Their 4-corners pizza is just the right amount to satisfy the craving. Delivery is generally very quick and pizza arrives hot!

I know, I know, how could I possibly give five stars to a chain pizza place in NYC. Well, because its one of the best chain pizza places in the Midwest right in my backyard! Honestly sometimes you just want a little bit of something from back home, and this places absolutely delivers that for me. (No pun intended) It reminds me of being a kid going to Pizza Hut with my friends before our middle school dance. Back when Pizza Hut was the only pizza I knew, and it came out sizzling in that cast iron skillet, cheese stretching 3-ft long when you pulled the first piece out. Would I recommend it to someone wanting pizza visiting NYC? Absolutely not. Will I order it when I want some nostalgia? Absolutely.

Don't ever order from this place on Door Dash. I ordered at 12:45a and they close at 2a. They accepted my order and said it would be delivered by 1:15a. They never delivered it and don't answer their phones, and there's no way for me to cancel or get a refund. So now I have to go through my credit card to dispute the charge. The order still says "preparing your order" an hour later. Don't risk it if you value your time.

I called here well after midnight starving and desperate for a large cheese pizza. The young lady who answered the phone was so professional and kind. She politely explained to me how I couldn't use the coupon I had, but did it in a way that was pleasant. I wish I remembered her name. This was a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, shoutout to this establishment. The pizza was amazing and delivered in a timely matter.

Don't let the shape fool you. It's Yum! Tiny and wholesome . Kinda like a combo between Chicago pen and Brooklyn dollar slice .

Do not order from this place on Uber eats--your food will NEVER get there. It says it will be delivered by the store so there is no tracking information; my order was supposed to show up between 9-9:20. I called the store at 9:20 to see where it was and they claimed it was on the way. I texted with Uber Support at 9:45 and they claimed it was still supposed to arrive. I ended up calling Uber Support at 10:30 because the food never arrived and it was never going to. At least I was able to get a refund for the food that never got there.

We ordered a 4 corner pizza ($15) for delivery because my friend who lived in the area really liked it. I haven't had Detroit-style pizza in forever so I can't remember how this would compare, but I thought this was an excellent slice. It was the perfect texture, that satisfying crunch/crisp with an airy dough. It looks dense but is not, and each bite is addicting. The only reason this has 4 stars instead of 5 is that they ultra skimped on toppings; considering we're paying extra for mushrooms, it seems a little silly to have like 3 pieces of mushroom per slice. That wouldn't deter me from coming back though; I'd definitely come back.

I ordered delivery so there's a possibility of a different experience eating on site. Pizza was good, some of their specialty pizzas have a unique spin on them. Unfortunately it was a bit cold when it arrived which was weird because the location isn't too far away. It microwaved well the next day though

Jet's Pizza made it to Brooklyn. During the pandemic I was out in St Louis and the only pizza place was Jet's Pizza. Boy was this pizza amazing. Detroit Style with Pineapples and Bananas Peppers you can't beat that. So happy they made it out this way. NYC normally has the best pizza and I'm happy to be adding this one to the city. Never had it, get a Detroit Style with a Turbo crest.

Do NOT order from here. The customer service is atrocious! An hour and 10 mins after I placed my order I called the shop to see where my pizza is. I called twice and no one answered. I called again and a guy answered and said, oh it's about to go in the oven. I said, now? It's just going into the oven? I don't want it. It's over an hour. As I was talking he hung up on me. I called back twice and no one answered. No one continues to answer. I don't want anything from this place. The employees are rude and incompetent. I want a REFUND!!

Now that there is another Detroit pizza start up in Brooklyn (a pop up by a guy who is not a Detroiter, as it turns out!), I can't help but update this review to emphasize the five stars for Jet's. I know this is weird--it's a chain pizza shop, for God's sake. But for real. I have so much love for Jet's, and I am about as serious about food (and as critical) as a person can get. That new pop-up is SO offensively expensive, not real Detroit style anyway, and just not as good. Offer me that or Jet's for the same price and I'll pick Jet's every time. We always get a Detroit style (square) with sausage, then put out a few other toppings for folks to customize at home before popping it in the oven or toaster oven (pickled jalapeños, thin sliced raw onion and mushrooms, jarred hot chilis, hot honey, whatever else I can find in the fridge). So good!

The customer service for the night team is Great. I got the square pizza special and for a late night snack, it did not disappoint.

I have not experienced Jets in Brooklyn yet I have had it in Ohio years ago Actually my half younger brother owned a Jets I'm really wanting to try the pizza again here bc I'm not liking any typical NY style pizza spots just everything tastes the same and is mediocre I haven't been to this jets bc the pricing of it and high delivery charge it's not that I can't afford pizza but I am shelling out fifty bucks for takeout/ delivery and is always wasted I'm very particular with pizza bc I grew up on exceptional tasting and high quality ingredients from our local pizza place nothing like ny pizza Jets is from the Midwest therefore it's going to be good and just the appearance of their pies looks tantalizing I'm a thin crust lover but I also am avid fan of the square Detroit pan pies as well . the only good pizza I've experienced in the thirty years of living in NYC has been pizza in Ct but I will follow up with this review when I have it in the next couple of days bc I have been craving it a lot lately

Good pizza, but generally they DO NOT take orders well!!!! BEWARE! I put in a delivery order... and after being 40 minutes late and calling they told me "oh we didn't have a driver"? Ok? Then they told me nobody was available to help me because "oh our manager isn't here"? Honestly, what is going on at this place?! DO NOT ORDER!

Fantastic tomato sauce! The detroit style pizza is a must try. The 8 corners size, is the way to go, this pizza joint is a 10/10 for me considering flavor, quality and portions. I've done delivery and in-store ordering and both were great experiences- the folks that work there give a great vibe and make a damn good pizza.

Okay, okay, I know it's not your fancy-schmancy New York, or Italian-style more traditional pizza, but this place hits the spot for tasty, midwestern chain pizza in a delightful way that reminds me of home (Detroit). The 8 Corner pizza is very tasty--so much crunchiness with just the right amount of char. And the sauce and the rest of the ingredients are fresh and of good quality. I would prefer the sauce to be a bit sweeter, but that may be my earliest, midwestern pizza experiences talking. I got a discount and ordered an 8 Corner pie, cinnamon sticks, and a Greek salad all to myself (oink! and again, I wish the dressing were sweeter, but I think I am trying to recreate associations with places I liked in Detroit), and all of the ingredients were very nicely balanced, the food arrived hot, and was really delicious. The service was also excellent--with staff reaching out to let me know they did not have a particular dressing yet, and sending along two others to try. I really hope this place continues to perform at a high level, because they are open until 2am for those random late night cravings that you just have to indulge.

I see these 2 hard workers every other night who run the store food is perfect & there's no team support for these 2 gentlemen, but ever other night they're not in the store it's horrible food isnt don't properly Thank you Brandon & Brian.

employee tried charging me double, had a deal in the window for 9.99 for 4 corners but charged me $21. Next customer, who was paying cash was charged $10 even. when I questioned it the guy became agitated and said he should have charged me $2 more because he missed one of my sodas. I asked for my money back and left. he obviously was stealing being the $9.99 deal was $10 for cash? I also observed him making pizza (adding cheese, sauce, and pepperoni) with bare hands and no gloves right after handling money. stick with local pizza joints.
