Jetwing Blue

Beach front Resort perfect for an early morning walk along the beach or relaxing & dozing on a deck chair under the trees. The sea is rough & currents strong during this season so the lovely big hotel pool is perfect for kids too. At dinner last night I happened to ask if they had Pol Rotti, and though it was not on the menu the staff were very obliging and prepared it fresh. The pol rotti was delicious served with white fish curry, seeni sambol , dhal & pol sambol. I had tasty freshly made egg hoppers at morning’s breakfast. It was popular amongst the guests. We had an ocean view room with a balcony. Mr Riyaz the Manager was welcoming and helpful. Will come back again for a longer stay.

We stayed at Jetwing Blue with our 10-month-old baby and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating throughout. Our baby was always smiling when we went to the pool, the restaurant, or even just walking around — a real testament to the welcoming atmosphere. Ben, the guest relations manager, regularly checked in to make sure we were well looked after. Because of this, I would happily rate the service 5/5. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but some areas would benefit from renovation — especially the bathrooms and the corridor lighting at night. Overall, we were very comfortable, but I felt the rates were a bit high given the current room standard. I’d rate the room 4/5. The pool was clean and well looked after, with attentive lifeguards keeping an eye on everyone, especially young children. There were plenty of sun beds, though many were in the shade. The food was excellent, offering both Western and Sri Lankan options at all meals. We enjoyed every meal and would rate the food 5/5. Overall, a great family-friendly hotel with outstanding service — we would happily return!

I had a very nice time at the hotel. Food was delicious. Desserts could be improved a bit more. Protein selection was interesting and so so tasty. You should meet Maneesha a server at the main restaurant, she is the best Server you can find. Lovely girl, quite attentive ❤️. Skillful. Gives a positive vibe for the whole stay.

This is the BEST hotel in Sri Lanka! The rooms are very modern and luxurious. The pool is really good. There is a trail from the hotel directly to the beach. The beach is very beautiful. Definitely stay here if you're visiting Sri Lanka!

Sadly, we only had one night here at the end of our trip. Centrally located, spacious rooms with balconies, and a great pool area. Service was a highlight—we felt so welcome. Special thanks to Roshel, who gave us every recommendation under the sun and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend, and we definitely wish we stayed in the area longer. Note, we did not eat at the hotel (visited restaurants outside of the hotel).

We have visited this hotel a total of four times, including two overnight stays. In the past, I’ve always had positive things to say and fond memories to share about this place. Unfortunately, this year’s experience was soo disappointing—so much so that I need to rant and give my honest experience. We came for the LUNCH BUFFET, which turned out to be a complete waste of money. I had ALMOST NOTHING to eat, I don’t eat pork, and I’m allergic to seafood—and shockingly, there was only ONE CHICKEN CURRY available. That’s it. Everything else was pork or seafood. No variety, no consideration for guests with dietary restrictions. For a buffet priced at 6,500 per person, the lack of options is unacceptable. While the food quality itself is appreciated and good, the menu was so poorly thought out that it ruined the entire experience. This isn’t a premium buffet—it’s a seafood feast disguised as one. The only saving grace was the dessert section—a decent variety with good quality. But no amount of dessert can justify paying that much for what was otherwise a painfully limited spread. Very disappointed. I expected better from a hotel of this standard, especially after such good experiences in the past. I do not recommend this buffet and would not encourage anyone to go.

We all had a brilliant time. Very comfortable, clean and relaxing hotel, and delicious food. Lovely pool. Shalani was very helpful and friendly at the front desk. The whole family would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Negombo.

I recently stayed at Jetwing Blue with my wife, and we had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, setting the tone for a pleasant stay. The food was absolutely delicious – every meal was a delight, offering both variety and great taste. Customer service throughout our stay was superb. The entire team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. A special mention goes to Kingsley from housekeeping, who went above and beyond to ensure our room was perfectly maintained and comfortable every day. We are genuinely impressed with the hospitality and care provided by the staff at Jetwing Blue. Thank you for making our stay so memorable – we look forward to visiting again!
