I'll go back. 😊 The food was good, but slightly under seasoned. Still, it was still tasty. The service was good, but it took awhile for the food. Still, the staff were friendly and attentive. I really liked the atmosphere. Coffee was ok...I need to try it black next time and re-evaluate. My single real issue is the hours of operation. 9a to 3p. Those hours, for me, mean I can't solicit their business during the week--I'm already working by the time they open and I'm still working when they close. I suppose they're good as a lunch only place and a late brunch place on the weekend. Still, a place for breakfast and coffee in the morning would be nice. Bottom line, I am going back, which is really the only important thing. They're worth an occasional visit even if they won't work as my *regular place*.

Google
PHENOMENAL meal. My wife is GF and I am not, but holy smokes this place knocked both our socks off. Chicken was the best I’ve ever had. Donuts were (maybe) the best I’ve ever had. Waffles? Delicious. All the sauces? To die for. Do NOT miss this place. It was a top 10 meal I’ve had in my life, gluten free or not.

Google
Great breakfast spot and was a great start to our trip! The staff the first day were very knowledgeable about food allergies and assisted with menu recommendations for a gluten and dairy allergy they were very thorough and helpful. They had informed me due to cross contamination I could not have their potatos which was fine so we made a substitute (important for second visit). We had a wonderful start to the say with food and (very strong) mimosa flight. We enjoyed our experience so much we went back the next day. I wanted to try something different so I got a breakfast wrap, informed of allergies - once the order came it had potatos in it - I asked about it as I was told it was not safe the day prior and they confirmed it still was not safe so remade the order. Other than that mishap it was a great experience! Edit response to restaurant: I was told that at the time they did not have a separate fryer for dairy/ non dairy products I was told I could not have their potatos due to the cheese curds on the menu in a shared fryer. I personally have a very severe dairy allergy so I can not handle cross contamination of any dairy products.

Jewel’s Bakery & Cafe is hands-down one of the best gluten-free restaurants in Phoenix! The entire menu is 100% gluten-free, from fluffy pancakes and their famous chicken and waffles to decadent baked goods like cinnamon rolls and cupcakes. Every dish tastes fresh, flavorful, and comforting, so good you’d never guess it’s gluten-free. The service is warm and welcoming, with staff who are happy to answer questions and make great recommendations. The café itself has a bright, cozy atmosphere that feels inviting and perfect for a casual meal or weekend brunch. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves delicious, thoughtfully made food, gluten-free or not!

Google
Awesome food and great service. If you have a gluten allergy this place is for you. The menu is great plenty to choose from. I had the churro waffle and eggs bacon sausage. And it was delicious. I highly recommend it.

Great experience. My chorizo omelet was amazing. A Plethora of flavors and texture. My wife had a country fry chicken and she says it was delicious. I do definitely recommend this place. You’ll thank me later!

Cauliflower wings and salad with fresh mandarins were excellent. Nice to have vegan and gluten options, I will return. Friendly server. Cute place.

Google
Jewel’s was the perfect place to eat immediately after landing at phoenix airport. My mom is a gluten and dairy free person, and this restaurant had so many options that satisfied both dietary restrictions. She was giddy with choice! We eventually both settled on the millionaire breakfast. Which had popcorn chicken, donuts, and waffles + bacon all stacked in a single dish. The portion was enormous, and the food was delicious. (I say this as a person who typically doesn’t enjoy any gluten free option of bread-centric dishes). I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent breakfast food. One thing to note - our server informed us the ghost pepper bacon was more of a sweet bacon than a spicy bacon, my mom and I both found it way too spicy, and we ended up needing to order extra sides of bacon, because we were tearing up with the ghost pepper bacon.

Yelp
My husband and I were heading to the Botanical gardens so we were able to finally try Jewel's Bakery and Cafe. What a cute but small cafe. It took exactly 20 minutes for our table. We were sat on the patio which was cute. While we waited for our waiter we pursued the large menu to decide on what we wanted for our lunch. I had been craving a breakfast burrito for a few weeks now so I settled on ordering one of the breakfast burritos. My husband had been eyeing the chicken and waffles but not wanting something too big he ordered the el pollo fuego sando. Both of our meals were fabulous. My burrito was just spicy enough that I didn't need any extra hot sauce. The fried chicken and waffle sandwich was absolutely amazing. My husband joked that not often can he share his meal with me. The entire menu is gluten free so it was a glorious and delicious lunch. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Everyone else in my party of five seemed to enjoy their meal but there were no "wows". Me, not so much. Mind you the place is nice and friendly inside. Clean and service is prompt and polite. Nice folks. Remember this is a gluten-free cafe. I went in knowing this but I don't go to too many GF restaurants or I may have made different choices. Protein and fruit, for instance. I ordered biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs sunny side up, and hash browns. My party also ordered waffles. I imagine being the first in the door on a holiday weekend Sunday was not a good idea but there it was. What I got was pretty lackluster. Two eggs SSU were overdone and crispy on the bottom. Biscuits were flat and dense. GF biscuits don't have to be that way. One really looked so much like a hash-browns patty that I had to flip it over to check. Hash-browns were warmed over from long ago that morning. The waffles had spent more time under a lid than we had been in our seats. Gravy, meh. Nothing fresh or crispy. I guess this is what meal prep is all about but I'm sure it would be better later that day when food starts to move.

Yelp
Stopped by to grab some cupcakes for an office birthday and they were able to fill my 15 cupcakes order on the spot. They even had a spare candle from a previous event and were just so kind. The cupcakes were fantastic and everyone raved over the red velvet. Would definitely recommend this place and don't even realize they were GF!

Yelp
I love this little corner cafe. The menu hits SO MANY flavor cravings, I imagine just about anyone could find something they love here - and 100% gluten-free is such a ginormous win! I was so happy the café was open on July 4, as my days off don't always lineup for a sit down breakfast when they would be open. I was really craving chicken and waffles since a friend told me how good theirs was. Ultimately, I ordered a waffle breakfast sandwich that had those ingredients and more. Service was great throughout my visit, I was checked on multiple times and given great recommendations on the menu. The new cheery yellow booths are such a fun addition to this great little space (I hadn't been in the area for a few years, so I guess they're possibly just new to me). There is a take away register right next to the abundant bakery case. Be sure to try some of the fresh baked gluten-free goodness!

Yelp
My partner and I enjoy trying new places! We don't have any allergens or vegan but we still always wanted to try it here because it's caught our eye. I got the soyrizo bowl, he got the lite omelette and we had donut holes to shared and all of it was delicious! We regretted not getting the chicken and waffles but next time we will! The service here was amazing and all the staff was sweet. The place itself is really cute but it does get busy because it's not really big!

Yelp
As someone with celiac disease, this place is like heaven to me! Finally got to try for the first time and it was delicious! It is a small restaurant and coming on a Saturday around 1-2 it was very busy and they had a wait. I love the plethora of options they offer and the fact that everything is gluten free! Expensive but with it being a small business and everything is GF, I understand. Can't wait to try my cinnamon roll as well

Yelp
Another visit here with my partner and was so satisfied. I love their donut holes and this time I had the Monte cristo and was in heaven. Definitely my go to place for gf food

Yelp
We love this place! The people here are friendly and they have wonderful food. This visit I had the Thai salad, it was bursting with flavor. I added chicken for my protein. It was just the right amount of food. My husband had the chicken and waffles, the chicken was very flavorful and moist. The icing was a bit too sweet though, but it's what makes the dish complete. Oh, also we added a side of the truffle fries. A must try!! Lastly, we purchased a blueberry scone and a blueberry cream cheese muffin. They were quite good. If you have a gluten intolerance, I cannot suggest this place enough.

Yelp
Still a go to for gluten free goodies and comfort food. They have perfected the fried food game and because of that that, they will never lack customers. Savory or sweet they have it locked down. Vegan options, and Omni options as well. All sauces are dairy free except buttermilk syrup and gravy. Yes the sauces actually taste good. The place is always full when I go. Honestly it's too small for the game they are in. As heavy hitters they need multiple locations but hey I'll settle for what they have. They have grab and go cakes now too. I've been trying to get a cake from here for a couple years now. So this is a great option if you need something fast without the days in advance notice. Service is still great. Answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed. I always get my food to go except for one time I sat on the patio. The atmosphere is just too busy for me to stay but for some it may work.

Yelp
The kids took us here for breakfast considering they are a completely gluten free bakery and cafe. Arizona seems to cater to allergens and diet types in a very sincere way. We arrived five minutes before they opened ( thank god we had a reservation!!) and by the time they opened their doors it resembled a Southwest Airlines boarding process and filled up the cafe in literally 15 minutes. The cafe is cute and they also have a substantial patio for dining outside. We started with the donut holes as we our breakfast appetizer..The mini human had a kids plate with waffle, eggs, and fruit, and the rest of the adults had chicken and waffles, popcorn chicken and waffles, chicken fried steak and pancakes.- see the common thread? Food was yummy. Service was a little challenging just because our mini human has a severe allergy and we wanted to make sure the food didn't have any of that ingredient- I feel like our server may have been new and just didn't know how to handle that - other than that experience was good and am sure we will be back next time we are in AZ. Yelp
Eager! Heck yes all around! I had been wanting to try this place, as my mom was recently diagnosed with celiac, essentially limiting us to never eat out. It was Mother's Day and I thought it was a perfect opportunity! Jewels makes you forget you're eating gluten free. We ordered all the things in a Togo order. The restaurant was very busy (as one would expect with such delicious food). But the staff was very helpful and even helped us identify which items had oats as ingredients (since she also can't have that). We tried chicken, waffles, donuts, sweet pot fries, and cinnamon roll. All were 10/5 stars. This was night and day experience from the only other gluten free restaurant we attended (not naming names) that was so foul that we couldn't even finish the food. I'm eager to tell everyone to try this place! You won't regret it.

Yelp
Chilaquiles were DELICIOUS!! Good vibes, cute restaurant. Gotta come back for the bottomless mimosas!

Yelp
I am writing this review hoping the owner of Jewel's Cafe sees it and reads it understanding that it came from a regular customer who legitimately wants to see the Cafe improve. We have frequented Jewel's Cafe since we moved to Arizona last August. We are vegan and appreciate the offerings and variety on the menu. We usually received kind and honest service until a manager with black hair who says her name is "Rae" began taking orders at the cash register. As regulars, we order the fried mushrooms and are even willing to pay extra for full large boxes. Before Rae assumed a more involved role, we would order the vegan fried mushrooms and receive two full entree-sized boxes- no questions asked. Once Rae began to assert herself as a manager- she would decide to combine our two orders into one side box. When we asked about the difference in volume- seeing no change in price- she refused to give us any explanation for her decision. Instead she gave us a blanket statement,"This is what we normally do." What bothers me most is that when we call over the phone to place orders, while speaking to Rae, we're treated differently than in person. I asked specifically for full entree boxes of mushrooms over the phone with her. After a brief hold, she said it would be no problem and the total cost would be $22.95. Upon arrival, she denied speaking with me and said she would have to charge over $30. I would hate to believe that Rae treats customers differently based on how they look. I do not look how I sound over the phone. And it's a shame that in 2024 we still have people who are rude, insensitive and don't honor their promises working in hospitality. Further, I asked while on the phone if I could have the Vegan Chicken and Waffles and was told by Rae that they are not on the menu. I have enclosed a photo of the menu with this listed for your review. I believe it's important for "managers", employees and the kitchen to be aware of what's offered. Jewel's Cafe really is a wonderful place, but it's the service that used to set it apart. There are so many other delicious places to dine in the Valley and the food isn't great enough at Jewel's to be treated this way. While we won't be back, it is our sincerest hope that managers and employees understand their menu, portions and how to treat guests.

Yelp
The food here was flavorful and very filling! This is a great and vibrant spot to come to for brunch. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly. Great vibes overall!

Yelp
I would give this place 10 million stars if I could. I am obsessed with Jewel's. I get the same thing every time because it's heaven on earth - chicken and waffles (with the waffles having churro dust). I haven't had regular chicken and waffles in many years but I can still confidently say they're better being gluten free from jewels than non gluten free anywhere else. The waffles are so fluffy. The chicken is crispy yet still juicy. And it's so filling. The donut holes are also so so so good. Any of their baked desserts are chef's kiss- always love me a good cinnamon roll. We ordered the fried pickles for the first time and I was shocked at how yummy they were. Shocked. You don't have to be gluten free to love jewel's!

Yelp
As usual, great service!! A great place to go if you're into gluten free and should eat better. I had the Basil peanut chicken salad and my friend had bacon and waffles with fresh Strawberries. Our waiter was awesome as usual! This entire staff are catering and on top of things!!! Perfect place to go when you're with friends or family who can't eat a junk meal since, all of their food is, good for you food! There's plenty of parking on premises.

Yelp
In the past, I've been here to eat a full meal & really enjoyed the food. The last 2xs I've gotten out of yoga & just wanted a quick snack. Both times I ordered cookies to go: Blueberry Oatmeal & Raspberry Lemon. Both were super dry. I know gluten free baked goods can be dry but w/ the fruit, I thought for sure that would add tons of flavor + moisture. Maybe they were a few days old? Not sure but super disappointing.
google avatar

Yelp
OMG! If you're in Phoenix, you need to run to Jewel's Bakery and Cafe and get one of their $8 gluten-free cinnamon rolls. This actually has the correct yeasted bread texture. These were incredible. Also tried the cannoli cupcake and lemon raspberry cookie. While they were good, the cinnamon roll was FANTASTIC. 10/10 cinnamon roll. They're a 100% gluten free restaurant and bakery which was fantastic for a celiac like me. Thanks to @eatglutenfreeaz on IG for the tip to eat here. While I just got my bakery items to go, there is table service here. It's a very casual vibe. Last visited: November 2023

Yelp
I have to update my review! Jewel's impresses me more and more each visit. We went for my birthday last week and it was such a great choice. They had an unexpected water heater issue, and they had to improvise in a few areas because of it, but the service and the food were excellent as always. We tried the basil truffle fries and I don't know if I can ever visit now without getting those as an appetizer!! I ate the millionaire - WOW! Delicious and perfect birthday choice. My sister had chicken and waffles, and my husband had a burrito. We each also got hot dirty chais and they were heaven in a cup. We all loved our food and were impressed by the service. Thank you again Jewel's for making my birthday special!

Yelp
I came here with a friend for brunch on a Saturday. We were able to snag a table right away although the place was packed. There is plenty of parking in the plaza where it's located. Everything on the menu is gluten free which is a huge plus for me because there were tons of options. Many of their items are either dairy free or can be modified to be dairy free. I ordered the Belgium waffles with strawberries on top and a side of bacon. The Waffles were really good and had the perfect texture. I highly recommend you check this place out, there are so many great options on the menu!
google avatar

Cathy O.

Yelp
If you have celiacs or are sensitive to gluten , this is the bakery and cafe for you! It's one of a very few places where you can get great gluten free meals and fantastic gf baked goods. The selection is impressive and the food is excellent. Jewels is now one of our favorite places to dine!

Yelp
This is definitely a brunch spot to try! Take advantage of the reservation process so that your wait is not outrageous. We reserved for a 10am table and got there right at 10am and got seated right away with no issues. The place itself is a smaller venue which is super cute and has a vacation vibe mom and pop feel. Our server was extremely sweet. This place has bottomless mimosas which is on their menu if you need to see the price cause I forgot! Lol Honestly I've never been a fan of breakfast potatoes cause it's always soggy or too salty or peppery but they had the best breakfast potatoes that I didn't actually leave any food on my plate. The waffle sandwich was the perfect crispness and so flavorful. They also had donuts and pop corn chicken which was a great to add to any menu for that sweet and savory if you can't make up your mind! Love this place and will for sure come back!
google avatar

Jasmine L.

Yelp
This is my best friend and I's fav gluten free place of all time! Everything I've ever had here was so good! The cheese curds are amazing, the waffles, chicken tenders, and the pastries are all phenomenal. Parking is easy. There's normally a wait so just be prepared for that. The lattes are also so good and the service is always great. Cute homey vibes
google avatar

Elyse H.

Yelp
Once again Jewel's does not disappoint! It was crowded as usual on the weekends but we were still able to be seated right away and had prompt and friendly service. This time I made sure to take a photo before we dug in.

Yelp
I will say, my dreams of coming here were a little crushed by the staff. They were not friendly or welcoming at all... no one smiled, felt like an inconvenience... it was a Saturday afternoon, so maybe they just got worked in the morning... But thankfully, the food was still amazing. Chicken and waffles were amazing. My husband got the one with donuts... when it was fresh, I was the happiest I have ever been, I have never, EVER had light, fluffy, airy donuts that are gluten free!!! Only problem was I could not stop myself from eating it, it's dangerously good.... They had a few pastries in the window. But nothing that seemed too exciting. I wish there were more things. It looks like they're getting ready to offer more. I will definitely be back.

Charmaine C.

Yelp
My family and I went to this restaurant/bakery yesterday, and it was cute. But they need to change out the plates (frisbee plates, my son called it) they were constantly spinning when we tried to cut into our food. We walked in right before lunch rush, and we still waited a while before ordering. One good thing was that this was our first time eating there so we didn't know that my order was missing couple hash browns, so it was a nice surprise to get more... but they didn't tell us until they brought it to us‍

Yelp
What an awesome place to come if you are gluten free and just as enjoyable if you are not. We came here twice on our trip to Phoenix. I would definitely say our first meal was better but could be what I ordered. The first time here I got the chicken and waffles- I don't know how they managed to make fluffy, delicious waffles that are gluten free but they did. The whole meal tasted like something I would have had in my gluten-filled life. The portions were huge and heated up well when I ate them later for leftovers. I also really enjoyed the hot honey sauce- completed the meal well. When we came back, I could not decide what I wanted so ordered way too much but had plenty of leftovers. I had some chicken tenders, a veggie omelet, and we had the hashbrown dippers as a starter. The hashbrown dippers were super crispy and delicious and I enjoyed the gravy dip. I wouldn't get the omelet again - also I could have upgraded my potatoes to the hashbrown dippers so good to know for future. The chicken tenders were just as good. We also got a cinnamon roll for later- still tasted soft & gooey when we ate it a few days later. There are not any places like this where I am from so as someone who eats fluten free, it felt so great just to be able to go and order ANYTHING from the menu! There were a ton of baked goods as well- everything looked good but didn't get to try anything. I would recommend this place to anyone but especially those who are following a GF diet.

Yelp
Named Best Gluten-Free Restaurant (Best of Phoenix) in 2019 & 2022 by New Times Phoenix @chowbellaphx , Jewel's Bakery & Café @jewelsgfcafe is always bustling with customers waiting to get in! We tried going 3 weeks ago for the drool-worthy churro waffle special I saw on their insta but alas their electronic payment system was down that morning and we left after a while. I was so happy to drive out and return yesterday to finally try these gluten-free treats. We ordered: - Doughnut holes to start - Honey pot chicken Sando, side sweet potato fries - The basic one with over medium eggs - Hot tea - Cinnamon rolls (2) to-go I've been gluten-free on and off since 2000 and wow, it's come a long way. The convenience these days is so nice. And to imagine an entire café!!! Fantasy come to life. The doughnut holes have the texture and taste of a denser Angel food cake- very nice. The pancakes ( I had a bite of Hubs) were some of the best I've had at a diner. They were large and fluffy. And I enjoyed my Chicken sando guilt free . It was delicious and filling and full of pickles!!! We took two of the cinnamon rolls home from the bakery cafe and I tried 1/2 of one this morning. What a treat! The frosting was very good and I licked my sweet tooth for the day. @twistedbeefarms honeys and @tasteculturamia Agua Frescas are sold here as well. There are also cakes ready to go in the case for birthday party or event grab and go. I wish this cafe was closer to me! Maybe they'll expand and open one in the northwest Valley This café has an intimate and cheerful vibe with bright yellow café booth seating, and small tables in the front of the restaurant. There's also a small patio along the side of the café. Parking is plentiful in a shared lot with some other shops.

Yelp
Love having this brunch spot so close to home! Visited on a Saturday, right at opening time. There was a huge crowd waiting outside the door 10-15 min prior, but we were able to be seated with a table or two to spare. The space is very laid back, a little bit dark inside, but comfortable overall. Service was friendly and attentive. Not only is Jewel's 100% GF, they have a good amount of vegan options. With soyrizo and Just Egg, you get a perfect vegan, GF breakfast! I was intrigued, so I ordered the Vegan Chicken and Waffles. We have tried making vegan/GF waffles at home countless times and they have always come out some sort of gummy. While Jewel's waffle was still gummy, it was seemingly less so than attempts that we have made ourselves. The friend mushroom good, the breading was truly impressive. My partner got the vegan brekkie sandwich with just egg, impossible, spinach, cheddar, tomato, and an aioli. It was well done, however the potato was a bit much. Overall, happy to have tried Jewel's. Though it is a bit costly for breakfast food, it is good and I would certainly return/recommend!

Yelp
Ordered a cake from them recently for my sisters birthday and mine as well and it wasn't ready on time, they made my husband wait about an extra 40 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and I had specifically asked to have a little detail added and it was not included in the design (I wanted little coffins on the spooky side. I work in a funeral home and I wanted that little reference). The cake was pretty good and the rest of the design was nice. I did include a reference photo, but my daughter did stick her hand in there before I could get a good photo. Overall, decent cake and decent design but say you coming in 1 hour earlier if you're going to order thru them and I wished they hadn't missed that detail.

Yelp
Really cute spot and super friendly employees. Next time I'll come with a bigger appetite. I got the caprese avo toast and basil truffle fries. My spouse got chicken and waffles along with fried pickles and our son ordered the popcorn chicken, plus 2 iced chai tea lattes and a house made lemonade. Everything was really good. I recently started following them on IG as I was just diagnosed with celiac disease. So I need to start my gluten free journey and my family was down for checking this place out with me. They really liked everything too. I'll definitely have to try the baked goods and desserts next time, that's where my weakness lies and what I will likely miss most being gluten free.

Amy K.

Yelp
Really sad to hear that they got rid of the vegan chk'n and waffles. That was a godsend for us vegan folks!

Yelp
Some colleagues and I grabbed lunch. Grabbed food to go , it was quick and easy. Once we arrived their pastries looked delicious and Woww were they (definitely snagged some) the cafe was busy for lunch and cute. Definitely will be back - yummmmmy food!

Yelp
Jewel's is the best. Every time we go to Phoenix we go here. It's completely gluten free. I love their fried pickles and their chocolate chip cookies.

Janet O.

Yelp
I couldn't make up my mind, so we just ordered 4 different things and shared them. 10/10 for gluten-free food. I can't remember the last time I had anything this good! We ordered the donut holes, Italian sandwich with cheese curds, fried chicken sandwich (AZ hot), and the biscuits and gravy. EVERYTHING is 100% gluten-free. Most things can also be made dairy free as well. Oh, also a delicious Brownie. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Everything about this place was amazing. I can't wait to come back to Phoenix and eat here again!

We ordered a to go order and was told 15 minutes. We sat patiently and watched and heard order after order get made and picked up. We were right by the cashier. One order didn't get called out. And we were patient. After a half hour we asked if that was our order. It was. The lady had the gaul to lie to our faces and say it was just made.

Yelp
So so so good and everything is gluten free! The chicken and waffles with honey hot sauce were amazing. Truffle fries were so delicious I could not stop eating them. I usually don't like thin fries because they get too crispy but these were the perfect texture of slightly crispy but not hard. Our server was very friendly too. I would love to come back another time!

Yelp
Favorite breakfast spot ever! We love the servers, and the food is amazing. Everything is gluten free, and they have vegan/vegetarian options as well. They've been featured on different shows and various outlets, so there's usually a wait now that the secret is out! Well worth the wait though.

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place! We were on vacation in AZ over Memorial Day and came here twice. Half of our family has celiac and this made for a great and easy breakfast during our trip. The menu was awesome and my nephews were so excited they could eat everything on the menu. Make sure to get a reservation because this place gets busy! We sat outside both mornings because they have misters that keep the patio cool during those hot days. The service was awesome and everyone was so sweet and patient with our group. Everyone was really pleased with their food and what they ordered. We split a handful of things so we could try a bunch of menu items, which was the perfect way to go! If you are in the area, whether you eat GF or not, I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Probably won't make it back here. Not a great vibe. Meal was average. Kind of bland food. No flavor in the potatoes.

Yelp
Service absolutely sucks. Sat there for about 5 minutes completely ignored. I walked out.

Yelp
I went with my daughter today. So excited to be able to order anything on the menu and have it be gluten free. My daughter ordered the churro waffles dairy free. She was smitten. So fluffy. So yummy! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich after someone recommended it. It came dry and tough. I let the waitress know. She handled it with grace and kindness. She said that wasn't their regular quality and asked to remake it. I'm so glad I said something and she fixed it. One of the best sandwiches of my life. We had gotten dairy free ranch to dip our fries in. It was so good. I added it to the sandwich because I did think the sandwich needed a little more sauce. We had two different kinds of brownies too. They were pretty yummy. We were so stuffed by that point I imagine that is why they weren't over the top amazing. we will be back.

Yelp
Wow, my husband and I were blown away after visiting Jewel's cafe. Had no clue gluten free could be this delicious! Not only was the food amazing, the service was great. We were greeted by the store manager who made some awesome suggestions for drinks, and served by Frankie who brought out our food prompt and kept great conversation throughout our lunch when checking in with us. Definitely a must try when you're in the downtown Phoenix area. Highly recommended.

Yelp
This is the easiest review I have ever written. If you are celiac or super GF and ever in Phoenix area you MUST make the pilgrimage to Gluten Free Mecca at Jewel's and bow before the awe inspiring gluten free goodness. All the foods you thought you'd never enjoy again in a full flavor manor are there in their soft, spongy, and delicious goodness. Pastries, waffles, pancakes, even cheese curds! The service and staff are amazingly friendly. Why are you still reading this and not heading there?

Yelp
If I lived in Phoenix area, I would be at Jewel's every week. I have been celiac for 12 years and this place almost brought me to tears with all the selections and knowing that I could have anything on the menu. The food was delicious. I can't wait to come back on my next trip to try some of their other items.

Yelp
I can't believe it's all gluten free! I met up with my friend for a quick bite (of course it ended up being a couple hours of chatting), and she's gluten free so we tried Jewel's out! There is a lot of options, seating, and parking, so it's the perfect spot to grab some food. The servers are very helpful with helping deciding what to get and the whole place has a super cute colorful vibe. They also sell some local products as well. There was local honey being sold.

Yelp
I haven't had a smile on my face like this in a long time! The food is insanely great! Phoenix has a very hard selection for GF food and this place blows it out of the water! Thank you guys for having this! Keep it up!

Yelp
What a spectacular find. The food is delicious and flavorful. My partner is celiac so it was great to find this gem. You wouldn't even know the fried options are gluten free. The service was stellar. Highly recommend.
