This bare-bones, family-run shop turns out Beijing-style pies, buns, and hand-pulled noodles. Recently profiled by This Is Tucson and included by Tucson Foodie; order tomato-egg noodles, pork-and-scallion pies, and cold cucumber salad.

We visit Tucson just to eat at this delicious spot (and see a few friends)! We never manage to order a reasonable amount of food, there are too many fantastic options to narrow it down. The standouts so far are the cold cucumber salad, noodles with pork bean sauce, and the pies (pork & chive filling), but everything we've had has been incredible! We also ordered a hot pot of tea that was a wonderful loose leaf. The food is simply amazing and very reasonable prices. I tell everyone I know they need to visit Tucson just to experience this fantastic food!

Google
They give you porcelain chop sticks or a fork. The fountain drinks were not functioning when we went. We chose the Jasmin tea and Jasmine tea with honey. They didn't taste good by themselves but tasted good while pairing with the meal. Especially the pancake with soy sauce. Pork with Celery Pie Loved this pie. It had Celery Pork in it. The Celery Pork had a great flavor and savory taste. Noodles with Pork Bean Sauce: I can't explain the flavor of this dish. It is warm, cool, and savory. The noodles and Celery are cool and the Pork Bean Sauce is warm. The flavor of the Pork Bean Sauce is amazing and I wish here was more of it on the dish. Green Onion Pancake: This is my favorite dish I had. The flavor went really well with the Soy Sauce. I accidentally dropped a piece into the soy sauce and it took a few seconds to get it out. I let the excess soy sauce pour off but ate the piece of Pancake. Wow. Amazing. Homemade Meat Cake: This is my least favorite of all the dishes. There was not enough meat in it. Pan Fried Bun with Pork: The bun contain the Celery and Pork. It was like a Dim Sum pork bun it had a crunch. I really liked the crunch.

I ❤️Jewel's Noodle Kitchen so much. Small family owned and everything is made fresh from scratch. Their housemade noodles are so good, fresh and hearty and I love their cold dishes like the black wood ear mushroom salad and the shredded potato salad. The housemade dumplings look really good too. We don't eat meat but they have lots of interesting looking dishes. On top of the delicious food, the family is soooo sweet.

Google
Hidden gem. The style of the food is Northern; it is savory, not spicy. This style of Chinese food is not easy to find, so we feel lucky to have it in Tucson. Noodles, meat-filled pastry, dumplings, soup. Clean and quiet every visit. The food was cooked to order and was fresh and delicious. The service was warm and friendly. English is limited, so bring a Mandarin speaker if you like to ask lots of questions about the menu.

Google
Super authentic food with tons of variety! Loved the soup options. The BBQ pork is the MUST order, the sauce paired with it was amazing. Veggie options were fresh and delicious. Mom and Pop hidden gem. Check them out!

We loved the beef noodle soup and the pork bun! The portion of the noodle soup was generous.

Google
I love love love this place! The food is always amazing and so tasty! Nothing on the menu I've tried has ever disappointed me. 1000/10. The customer service is spectacular and they're always so nice. Please if you get the chance order some food. You will not regret it <3

Google
The food is great. We especially liked the dim sum options. It is located in a strip shop center on Speedway and the ambulance is very basic. But we did not care about that because we were busy devouring delicious crispy shrimp balls, scallion pancakes, and BBQ pork buns. We ordered a couple entrees too, Mongolian Beef and Chicken Lo Mein. They were also very good. I hope people support this place so it doesn't go away!

Yelp
A Tucson's must for foodies/ food geeks and people who enjoy culture like me. Updating my review because I wanted to add some more photos since we previously only done take out and I got better pictures eating in for the first time. This place is a true Jewel. Simple mom and pop, homey, everything made from scratch to order, super fresh, including the noodles for the cold noodle dish. Seems to be less known and focused on than other spots with better ambience and social media presence but I highly recommend not sleeping on this one if you want an authentic chinese experience. You will not find Americanized dishes here but instead dishes that are common in Chinese daily home cooked meals. We order the fungi salad, shredded potato salad, cold house-made fresh noodles with sesame paste (egg free) and sesame balls. We order the vegetarian dishes but they have tons of dishes with meat etc. for anyone who cares to know their veggie dumplings and veggie pie contain egg. English is limited when their young adult kids are not around but the parents seem very eager to communicate as much as they can and seem kind. Always lots of welcoming warm smiles. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

Yelp
Amazing place! It's a smallish mom and pop Chinese restaurant, very humble but puts out some fantastic dumplings! We went at 8pm and we were the only people in there. It seems they do a lot of take out. I can't wait to pick up some boa for lunch soon!

Yelp
I ordered to go. Steamed dumplings, wontons and fried sesame balls. Hands down sesame balls were so good light and had great filling to outer dough ratio. Was not super oily. The wontons were good especially with the spicy sauce. Dumplings flavor was good but dough was a bit thick. Overall this is a hole in the wall. It seems to be owner run which she seemed very nice and she packages everything securely so it wouldn't spill in car.

Yelp
This is a real hidden gem here in Tucson. The restaurant is small and cozy and reminds me of San Francisco. It's run by the whole family, and they are so sweet. They are definitely known for their meat pies, but I decided to go with pan friend mini buns and chicken today. The dough was nice and thick and the filling was flavorful. The chicken was so tender and juicy and delicious. I will say, my heart broke a little when I was the only one in there and it always is when I go in. More people need to check this place out and try their heartwarming meals :)

Yelp
If you are looking for good dumplings and Chinese style meat pies, Jewel Noodle Kitchen is a jewel in the rough! We got an order to go consisting of a variety of items from their menu. We got the cold shredded potato, pork and scallion meat pies, pork and leek dumplings and cold noodles. It was all packaged securely and probably tasted as good as it would if dining in. Surprisingly enough, the best items we got weren't the noodles despite being called a noodle kitchen. I enjoyed the meat pie and the dumplings the best. The dumplings tasted similar to how my mom used to make them and they illicited a homey and comfy feeling after eating them. The meat pies were perfectly crispy on the outside with well seasoned meat on the inside. The cold shredded potatoes were also similar to a dish my mom used to make when I was a kid so I enjoyed those as well. The marinade for the potatoes tasted vinegar based. I wasn't really a fan of the noodles. The sauce tasted grainy and the dish itself didn't seem to have any flavor. The noodles were very super soft as if they were really overcooked and left out for some time. Details: - Online order available - Vegetarian options - Styrofoam and plastic to-go packaging

Yelp
10/10 highly recommended! I went for a solo lunch date the food was amazing and the staff treated me like a Queen!

Yelp
Stop by again after a while. I think they change ownership. All food are still as delicious, they even have more variety. Now they have dim sum. But the food come in pretty long time, maybe they are'nt well organized yet since they are new owner. Tips: Don't come if you are in hurry.

Yelp
Amazingly delicious food. Was on my road trip and stay one night in Tucson then heading back to LA...surprisingly found this dinner place...even better than many Chinese restaurant in LA...I'm so happy and proud of them to contribute their work here and I will definitely be back to order different food.

Yelp
I ate dinner here recently with three friends. The place is small and without much decoration. It does not offer most of the dishes one finds at other Chinese restaurants. They specialize in meat pies and dumplings. I had an order of four meat pies (pork, shrimp and leeks). They were served with a dipping sauce. They were OK, but four identical meat pies with no side dishes did not make an especially interesting meal. Service was fine in spite of the language barrier (the server spoke very little English). With a bottled drink and tax and tip, my meal came to $21.48.

Yelp
I'm not sure how to explain this place. It has Chinese food like my friend and I have never had. Walking in, the fairly small room looked clean and bright. We were greeted immediately and seated. I had Googled the menu before going to Jewell's; friend had not. I was trying to pull up pictures on my phone when the server told us there were pictures on a table next to the register. We looked at the pictures and then went back to the paper menus to order. Friend ordered steamed dumplings and (4) pork pies. I ordered (4) beef pies and (2) beef buns. The pies were around 4" wide and 1/2" thick. The meat in the middle looked minced and the pastry surrounding the meat looked like it had been pressed in a panini press. The pies were very hot and a bit greasy. Maybe they're supposed to be like that; not sure. The dumplings were typical and delicious. The beef buns had delicious beef that was similar to carne seca with the bun a consistency of an English muffin. We ordered way too much food so there was a lot to take home. Having never had Chinese food like this before, I don't know if it was good or bad. I do know we enjoyed it and it was fun to try something different. I would recommend giving Jewell's a try.

Nicholas G.

Yelp
This is probably the best Chinese place in Tucson. Rivaled a lot of places I've had in San Francisco; highly recommend beef meat pie, dumplings, and bbq pork meat bun(forgot the name, not the steamed one). Very very good and nice service

Yelp
Out of the things I ordered, this is what I like the best, from most to least: Pork with scallion pie Pan fried bun with pork Shredded potato salad Pork bun Beef rolls Triple dumplings Honestly, it was all really good, and I would order from here again! The inside is super bare bones with a lot of open space. It is strangely quiet inside, because there aren't any waiters and there's no music playing, so I feel like it would be kind of an awkward dine in experience.

Yelp
My fiancé and I ordered here on a whim. I am from Hong Kong, born and raised. This chashu pork is arguably best in Tucson ONLY IF you enjoy yours a little fattier, which I personally do. Their protein combo meal is unbeatable, lots of food. Also our daughter loves dim sum so it was awesome they had a few options. Daughter working the front, mom and dad cooking in the back. This is what a good Chinese restaurant is all about. Will absolutely be coming back!

Yelp
Well, I'm disappointed. After reading the reviews, especially of one that knows his Chinese food, I looked forward to trying this place out. I had the triple dumplings (pork, shrimp, leeks) and the beef noodle soup. Didn't taste much of the shrimp in the dumplings. They were OK, but not "gobble it up" good. The dipping sauce had a weak flavor. The soup broth was weak and didn't have much flavor. The noodles were a bit overdone. Didn't eat most of it. Half way through my meal, I had to ask for a cup of water. Water is standard to give or at least ask when you first sit down, right? Well, one reviewer said to skip Brother's Noodles across the parking lot. I've eaten at Brother's Noodles and thought it was good. I wish I had tonight. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Yelp
Small little mom & pop restaurant. New owners who are from a Chinese family that owns 3 or 4 other asian restaurants in the Tucson area. Annoyingly their menu is not up to date & they offer far more than on the printed menu. I ordered the bbq char siu pork bun that was absolutely delicious. Also pork meat pie which comes in several mixes. They were ok nothing to scream about. I came back the next day and had more pork buns and tried their bbq pork steam buns which were delicious. The sesame buns with bean paste inside YUMMMMM!! Nice clean dining and nice bathrooms. I will return. Hoping to see a full menu.
google avatar

Bridget R.

Yelp
First of all they make their own dumplings and noodles from scratch. The pot stickers were the best we have had in Tucson. So flavorful. The scallion pancakes were a delight as well! Delicious spicy pork wonton and the beef and pork buns were fun too! We will be coming back soon to try more of the menu and will bring family here. Loved the authentic Chinese cooking. Very friendly wait staff and very comfortable ambiance. This place is tucked in a nondescript plaza but it is real gem. No frills just actual delicious authentic cooking from scratch.

Yelp
Steamed buns were tasty but small. The sesame seed balls were great. Didn't get any entrees.

Yelp
Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - for a "noodle kitchen", the noodles was the worst dish and they're actually known for their pies 20) Beef Noodles Soup 2/5 - had noodles with good texture but tasted heavily of 5 spice. The beef was quite dry but they did give a good portion of bok choy. The soup was not the typical tomato/bean paste based and was actually light in color and tasted again of just 5 spice and oil 27) Pan-Fried Bun with Pork (6 pcs) 4/5 - nice fluffy buns with a bit of pork inside. It was steamed on the outside and pan fried on the bottom without getting crispy. Fairly mild in flavor, the dipping sauce (diluted soy sauce?) they provided helped give it a heavier taste 10) Pork with Scallion Pie 5/5 - we would not have ordered if the waitress did not highly recommend one of the pies as their signatures. It was fried and crispy on the outside with a slight chew on the wrapping and soft and juicy on the inside. It is definitely on the heavier side but much enjoyed and appreciated Ambience: 3/5 - simple shop with minimal decorations. No music, slightly flickering lights, and it does feel older overall. Sturdy wooden tables with scratch marks and the middle of the shop is fairly empty. Service: 5/5 - male cook in the kitchen and female waitress. Friendly but did immediately ask what type of Asian we were and teased my SO when we asked for a fork since he was struggling with chopsticks on the heavier pie Value for price: 4/5 - for the amount of food given, the dishes greatly varied in value. The pie was definitely worth it but the buns were fairly small for the price. If we stop by again, it'll only be for the pies

Yelp
My first time to try their dim sum menu and my favorites including shrimp har gow and shumai. Very tasty. The noodle soup with crispy pork was delicious and filling. Enough for another meal to enjoy at home. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
Jewel's Noodle kitchen is indeed, a Jewel! I ordered the 2 meat chicken noodle soup. Noodles, vegetables and protein are served along side of the flavorful chicken soup. Customer adds as they like. Meat (poached chicken and BarBQ pork were plentiful and tasty. I really like the pork. I wish there were more veggies but the bok choy was perfectly braised. Not too salty and no heavy sauces. And no food coma after completing my meal. The dining room is rather lackluster, and lucky for me, I was getting my food to go. The next time I'm under the weather, Jewel's is where I'm heading for chicken noodle soup. This place is basic in every way, but who doesn't love a bowl of chicken noodle soup?
google avatar

Diva S.

Yelp
I bought dumplings of beef and the other chicken. They are fresh and tasty. Easy to do if you buy them frozen to take home. The owners are very friendly and even though they don't speak a lot of English, we were able to communicate and understand each other.

Yelp
Apparently under new ownership and with it, more consistent business hours. So having returned with that in mind, while the decor and aesthetics of the business have not improved, the food was a 4.5/5 star experience. The broth of their noodle soups stands above and beyond that of other chinese noodle places in Tucson. All of their food comes out piping hot, made from scratch. You may get things out of order, entrees before appetizers, but you can rest assured you are getting quality and flavor to make up for it. Nothing was dry, everything was juicy and just the perfect texture it needed to be. Besides the soup broth and superior dim sum compared to other chinese restaurants here, they have one very unique offering done to absolute perfection and that is their "pies". These crispy, chewy, flavorful pockets are perfect from the outside in. Its one of those hand food items you order at a restaurant that you would willingly pay for a bag of by the dozen. My only complaint which is eclipsed by all the positives, is that their Special Sauce Beef was a bit overpriced for what it was. Its on the menu as a cold dish but it was almost cooked to temp, and really didnt pull its weight again, for the price. Tender thin slices of beef in fish sauce and five spice with a single pinch of coriander. For $11.99 i would have added a pinch of coriander for each slice of beef and a small bowl of rice proportional to. Had i not ordered and received this first, today would have been a 5/5 experience. Everything else though was well worth its price!

Yelp
Like many others have said, do not judge a restaurant by its appearance. Tucked away in an outdoor shopping area is this little mom and pop authentic Chinese dumpling and noodle place. It is very unassuming to look at with only a few tables but the food is amazing. Everything is made in house and has a Chinese home-style taste, this is not American Chinese but more authentic food. The family who runs it are lovely and spent soMe time trying to teach us a few Chinese words. The food is the highlight. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the fried items had a light non-greasy fry. Each item had a different taste and mouthfeel. The handmade dumplings melt in your mouth, the meat pie is hearty and has deep meat flavor, and the meat bun was light but rich. The highlight for me was the hot and sour soup because it is one of my favorite soups and this was one of the best tasting. It was not oily with a balanced sour, umami and sweet taste with noodles and mushrooms. We were so impressed we took bao to go and have told our friends about this hidden gem. If you just want good noodles and dumplings/buns, this is the place for you!
google avatar

Rainier M.

Yelp
Every time I come here I leave with a full belly and a happy soul! The staff are friendly and quick. The menu is diverse and amazing! This is a true hole in the wall restaurant. If you go definitely try the meat pies they're delicious!
google avatar

Didi L.

Yelp
The cold noodle dish totally lacked flavor but the cucumber dish was good but the east of the dishes were just meh. It was also expensive for what we ordered.
google avatar

Daniel A.

Yelp
Dumplings haven here!! Absolutely shocked at how homemade and authentic the Chinese dumplings are and there are quite a few varieties to try. I felt like I was back in China at a local mom & pop dumpling shop. The couple that runs this shop is extremely friendly and make all their food from scratch. Dumplings are packed with filling and full of flavor. I'd recommend getting several different types and sharing them with some friends/family! Highly encourage the community supporting this local restaurant with great food!
google avatar

Justin M.

Yelp
Nice little Chinese restaurant that has good food. I really enjoyed the beef noodle soup. The beef pie was really tasty as well. This small locally owned restaurant is a great place to check out.
google avatar

Arlen K.

Yelp
it was exactly what the reviewers said, so it fully met my expectations. My gps took me a funny way ... don't get lost; the restaurant is in a shopping center Anyway... I got spinach & egg soup: delish! It really hit the spot. I ate in (not take out) and it was after lunch but before the dinner hour, and I was the only one there. Quiet, pleasant, unassuming and enjoyable. I'll go back.

Yelp
This is an honest review of Jewel's Noodle Kitchen; For starters the owners do not speak english very well, which is okay, but it gave me high hopes for this being authentic Mandarin food. I ordered 2 buns (pork and beef), pan fried pork dumplings, and pork dumplings. The bread was extremely dry but the meat inside had good flavor. The pan fried dumplings were just okay but out everything I ordered they were the best thing. The dough was crispy but the inside meat tasted like a breakfast sausage, more than anything. The worst thing was definitely the dumplings. The dough was gummy, on the verge of being under cooked and the inside was extremely watery I know dumplings are supposed to be somewhat watery, but they were way too wet like they were made then frozen then defrosted in the microwave, very disappointing. When I got there NOBODY and I mean NOBODY was there which should've been my sign to leave, there was no music playing. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop and it made it very awkward. Since it was so quiet while I was sitting and waiting for my order I heard a microwave OPEN AND CLOSE 3 times. This should have been my second sign to walk out but I didn't and I stayed. Still feeling this could be a hidden gem due to the average review rating. I was very disappointed with this place.

Yelp
This place is legit! There is one woman who takes your order, cooks your food, brings your check and buses your table - all with a smile! We ate pork and scallion dumplings and the Triple pie and both were incredible. All homemade, of course. It is a modest little joint, which only adds to the charm and the food is absolutely authentic and delicious.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Go for the food and not for the ambiance. We had lunch here on Father's Day and the food exceeded my expectations. I had the bao buns and green onion pancake. My family also enjoyed the chicken with carrot pie and the tomato egg noodles. The food is authentic and everything was great! I am happy that I was able to support a local family restaurant.
google avatar

Mace W.

Yelp
Unfortunately the restaurant has an extremely serious sewage gas problem that makes it unpalatable. The food is otherwise good and authentic and home made. The owner really needs to talk with the landlord and a plumber.
google avatar

Davin F.

Yelp
Service was very warm and welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean. It is a small place, but perfect for a party of two or three people. We had chicken dumplings which were excellent. Portions were good. The beef meet pie wasn't something I would get again. The pastry was oil and too heavy for the size of the pie. The meat itself was seasoned well.

Clay J.

Yelp
Food was good. Probably will not go back. Again is good just not enough for repeated visits. Service was great very friendly. Ambiance is ok.
google avatar

Princess D.

Yelp
This place was sooo good for a quick bite! We ordered online and took it to go and everything was so fresh and still hot by the time we made it home! The pan fried buns were delicious and flavorful but my favorite was the beef and scallion meat pie! The hot and sour soup was also so good it tasted like a big hug. Overall loved this place and it was pretty cheap for how much we got!
google avatar

Mark A.

Yelp
This place is a trip! Literally a trip , the couple that runs it are from China and the decor is left over from when it was a Mexican restaurant. The menu is brief and non discrptive, and don't bother asking questions because they don't speak English. All that said the pot stickers and the dumplings are outrages!!! They are so delicious and authentic. If you want to get the real thing, this is the place to go! Trust me I've spent a lot of time in Asia.
google avatar

Andrea T.

Yelp
My proteins are chicken and fish only. It was raining hard today so I looked for Chinese comfort food since I had Japanese last night. I ordered the chicken dumplings, tomato egg noodles and for take home, chicken carrot pie. I inhaled the dumplings right away. This place is authentic Chinese the lady chef is incredible. I gave it four stars because their dishes are mainly pork and beef, very little chicken selection. Go try this place out. It's delish.
google avatar

Erika J.

Yelp
Really good food. Very authentic and homemade. People are very friendly and the service was really fast. Very casual and relaxing ambiance. The meat cake and the pear tea are a must try. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
To celebrate her retirement, my friend Debbie and I went to Jewel's Noodle Kitchen for lunch. The food was AMAZING! Jewel's is a Chinese food establishment, but not the typical Chinese-American dishes we know and love. This menu offers all kinds of meat and vegetable pies and dumplings, scallion pancakes, hot and cold noodle dishes, and a hot and sour soup with so many layers of spice and flavor that Debbie and I declared it the best we have ever had. We've always joked that a restaurant's hot and sour soup is an indicator of the quality of their food, and it was! The tender-chewy dumpling noodle dough kept the meat and cabbage hot until we were ready to bite. The meat pies had a heavier dough that was crispy on the outside and comforting on the in, and ours were chock full of beef and leeks. We ordered a huge variety of things, ate until we were stuffed, and both took home enough deliciousness for lunch tomorrow. The owner is very nice and although her English is limited, she manages to communicate just fine with what she knows and a handheld electronic translator. I loved that she served our feast in courses, so each item was hot and fresh as we were ready for it. Everything is obviously cooked to order, so waiting a few extra minutes means your food will be crisp, hot, and perfect. The restaurant is a small establishment in the east end of the shopping center in the north side is Speedway, east of Craycroft. You MUST try it. This restaurant deserves to live.

Yelp
I hope that everyone who has the luck of coming across this place tries it. It's really a Jewel. My server was very sweet and there was a little bit of a language barrier but she tried really hard and everything came out perfect. We ordered three different kinds of dumplings and one of the buns and I'm really impressed. I hope this place sticks around forever.
google avatar

Jillian W.

Yelp
Yummy yummy in my tummy. This is the food I grew up eating. My Shanghai gma loves making dumplings, scallion pancakes, meat/veggie pies...essentially everything that they offer at Jewel's. The food is very simple. Nothing complex about dough + water stuffed with meat and/or veggies. But I love the hominess of it all. I have only personally had the vegetarian options but my friends love the omnivorous offerings. The dumplings are A+. The dough is homemade and the veggie filling is delicious. I much preferred this to the pan fried pies and wish they hadn't used the same exact filling for both. Won't be getting those again. The cold dishes are stellar. The pickled soy cucumbers are crisp and refreshing and the wood ear fungus is crunchy and delicious. These pair great with the warm stuffed dumplings. Placing a takeout order is pretty painless now that they have launched their online ordering. This takes the communication errors from the language barrier out of the equation. You do have to pay in person which is mildly annoying. Overall, great little dumpling (+ more) place that offers homestyle Chinese cooking. It's a nice departure from the usual greasy Chinese takeout so give it a shot!
google avatar

Liana M.

Yelp
This place is definitely a hole in the wall... but trust the reviews. The food here is absolutely amazing. So flavorful and fresh. The lady there is always friendly although there is a bit of a language barrier at times. Don't expect much when you walk inside, but trust me the food is very much worth it!!! I crave it on a weekly basis it's that good.

Yelp
Went to try this place at noon on a Tuesday, and they were closed, despite supposedly being open every day. I am NOT saying they are closed permanently, as I do not know the situation. But they are definitely closed at noon today.

Yelp
Tiny little restaurant hidden from view, but if you happen to find it you won't regret it. The food is very much home style cooking, the place is quiet which is a nice change from other mouser hip places. Their servings are well portioned. Both the big bun order and small bun order are perfect for sharing and if you are eating solo you will definitely fill your belly. Go give them some love and give it a try. Their drink menu is mixed between fountain drinks and bottle/can option. My favorite was the tomato egg noddles and the buns.

Yelp
the food is always so delicious, i crave it when i haven't gone in awhile they're always kind and attentive, and i like the way they decorated their space! my only complaint is that they aren't closer to my house!

Yelp
We used to come here for pho when Sons was in the spot, so we had high expectations. Their menu gives pretty good descriptions and they also provide a stack of photos so you have visuals. Which will make you want more because the photos will make you hungry. We ordered the triple dumplings, the scallion pancake, the tomato egg noodle soup and the pork bean soup. The dumplings were great - nice amount of filling, beautifully wrapped, very flavorful. The scallion pancake was good, with a nice texture and not at all oily. Could have used more scallion, but that's probably just our personal preference. The daughter loved the tomato egg noodle soup and the husband and I enjoyed the pork bean soup. Very generous portions, and the fresh veggies in the soups - tomato (obviously) in the egg noodle and cucumber in the pork - were plentiful and tasty. The daughter was already planning what she will order when we go back.

Yelp
Interesting menu - not what you'd find in the more common Americanized Chinese food restaurants (so you won't find things like lo mein or sesame chicken). Cold amd hot noodle options. The meat pies are BIG and others in the restaurant commented about how good they were. The real stars are the made to order dumplings. They are phenomenal and there are several options to choose from. The restaurant is pretty small, and the owners use a translator tool to help amswer any questions you have. Very friendly service.

Yelp
Underwhelming on the outside, but mom n' pop store through and through. Ambiance - Minimal seating on the outside and inside. Very minimal in general. Service - Single man in the back making food and single woman (husband and wife? I don't wanna assume) manning the front area. They were very nice and it was funny to see them each watching different Chinese dramas during downtimes (you could hear the show). lol Food - Beef noodle soup was delicious. The broth, noodles, bok choy, and meat were delicious on their own, but together, there's a very subtle flavorful ness that came together very well. Also, got some of the beef meat pie that were good and flavorful. Be careful though, bc they do come out very hot! Overall, delicious place for some authentic Chinese food. Would definitely go back.
