The JFLA has been very helpful to me during my need for assistance. This is not the first time, I received a loan many years ago. The JFLA help was to assist me with a very personal matter, and I was helped with informative guidance. I participated and also recommend the JFLA "Financial Assistance Class".

They did not provide us with assistance; indeed, we have not received a response to our application. I have left voicemails, sent numerous emails, and conveyed direct messages through the application, all without a reply. It has been over a month, and we are still awaiting a response. We even left messages with their AI operator, yet there has been no communication. When individuals are in need, it is customary to acknowledge their outreach and inform them if they do not meet the qualifications. I am concerned about the possibility of losing my home. We appreciate you providing us with false hope.

I applied for a small loan through the JFLA in Los Angeles. Within less than 24 hours I was denied, stating that my documents couldn’t be verified. I immediately emailed them to figure out what were they talking about. No one responded, I called, left voicemails, and emailed again over the course of nearly two weeks. Just for them to (via email) accuse me of submitting fraudulent documents and stated that I could not apply for a loan with them. I was only in phase one which was My Id, bank information, proof of address, income and why I needed the loan… to accuse someone of illegitimate documents and not explain- is crazy to me. **UPDATE** JFLA was able to identify their blunder by initially denying my application. They were able to explain that it was a mistake on their end. So I am now in phase two- I have submitted all documents asked for and given my guarantors information. However I was told via email that ALL co signors must have a 680(+) credit score regardless of amount being requested however on their website it says 620(+)

It's pretty easy/ quick to get a loan here but I would advise against it. I got a loan with JFLA a couple years ago and the person I originally was speaking with was always very kind and I never had any issues up until the last year when I've been dealing with bobby. He is very condescending, short, he doesn't have any people skills. I'm not quite sure why he was put in charge of overseeing the loans because he is not good with people. You could be paying on time for the duration of your loan and two behind payments and he's constantly harassing you threatening collections, and when you do get caught up if you're even a few days late he will threaten collections again. They also never respond to emails at all and just threaten and harass through text messages. Really unprofessional considering they're supposed to be helping people out but his excuse is "they don't charge interest" so apparently that's a reason to treat people like garbage. Just don't do it.

I just have to say thank you a 1000 times to JFLA after COVID my boyfriend lost his job and I was running up my credit and in financial trouble. My mom introduced me to Nikki from JFLA and this process was so easy and so helpful! The interest free loan helped me pay down high credit card debts and get back on track. Normally if it sounds too good to be true but this was an exception. If you're looking for a non-profit to donate to this is it, they're actually helping people in a real way, I donate every chance I can because I've seen first hand how this program changes lives, thank you so much JFLA keep doing what you're doing!

Struggling teacher here. I was in a tough financial spot and didn’t know where to turn. JFLA gave me a chance when I really needed it. The process was generally instant and they were kind and didn’t judge. I’m super grateful for their help for their service and grace!!

Through Anew way of life.JFLA associates help me with my salon. pull us out of debt put us back into business during the covid of 2019. I paid the loan off and I feel great today with no interest 100% real talk
