Ji De Lai Hainanese Chicken Rice

Ordered 1/2 chicken for 3 plus plus $2 of liver. I would say it's above average, and the chicken is soft and tender. They used bigger chicken so you could feel the chicken meat texture. Total price $20 which I think it is reasonable.

Ordered 2 Chicken Thigh Rice and was charged $9. Both servings were NOT Chicken Thighs! There were bones from the spine of the back / spine of chicken. Asked for 2 servings of "White" "Streamed" Chicken but was told only left 1 serving of white chicken and the other portion has to be roast Chicken. There were 8 "White " chicken hanging in the showcase! Such dishonest hawker! Unbelievable!!! 👎👎👎 Chicken meat was average. Parts of the meat next to bones were raw! Rice wasn't fragrant and over cooked. 928 chicken Rice at Yishun Central still a more superior choice than this stall at Chong Pang Market. Buyers beware! 👎👎👎

Disclaimer: Michellin is a joke. My taste bud is probably in agreement with mode or the local consumers. Ordered steamed chicken drumstick with gizzard. Cost $5.30+50¢. Also encountered the same issue of the casher asking if there is still drumstick with two more whole chicken handing there. Pro Chili. You can add garlic to make it even nicer. Well it is average chicken rice chili which translate to good. Meh Chicken. Pretty tender with all thing consider. But it is tasteless. So just use chili lor Rice. Is also fragrance but sticky and not individualized. Gizzard quite a large serving but not enough of the chicken oil. So tasteless. Cons Soup not very nice even though it is just water plus msg.

Ordered 2 sets of chicken thigh rice but was told the thigh portion only left with 1 white and 1 roasted chicken. But there are so many cooked white chicken hanging on the stall. Maybe they are just for display and not for sales due to taste quality reason. Anyway, was ok with the roasted chicken thigh BUT it came out to be chicken breast! and charged me at the price of thigh portion, which is higher cost! This stall is utterly disgusting and dishonest. But their business is very good still. I guess people don't mind to be taken for granted (or to be cheated). Enjoy your meal folks.

Value for money and the chicken meat is v tender. Cucumber is japanese type. Wondering why the poor rating....seriously worth my money. $12 for half chicken. Picture shown is half roasted and half white. I like the white one as it taste very soft and feel like 冷鸡。Recommended to try and judge yourselves. I enjoy the meal v much.

Not so special kind of chicken rice. But I have to say their chicken is very tender. 👍 The seller is also friendly and service was fast. We ordered and they prepared the food right up, no waiting time. Their chilli sauce also taste nice. Price wise, still not very expensive also. I just rated 4 for the atmosphere since Chong Pang Hawker Centre is a bit cramp and not very easy to go around. Haha.

I ordered jidelai chicken rice at the Yishun Ring Road branch on 3 Feb 24 at about noon. The person I ordered from was an aunty lady with short hair, she was very rude and rolled her eyes at me when I said I didn't want chicken rice without bones when I went back home with my package of food, the chicken had bones. The other guys are friendly and professional and accept her. I've called in and management named Joey said that he would talk to the rude lady, but refused to mention her name. Joey offered to give me free chicken rice on my next visit, however, I would not want it, I guaranteed my order to be correct without rude staff.

Half chicken looks small portion. Perhaps chicken small size. Sauce is tasty. Chicken cooked just nice and juicy. Can even see a bit of blood in chicken. Chilli is thick and super hot. Cucumber cut is big size. Soup a bit on the stingy side. Taste of soup ain't all that fantastic but salty. Day before CNY eve increase price $1.00. Have eaten better ones. Can try but won't travel for this.
