The Best Romantic Restaurants in Boston | Eater Boston

"This elegant, white-tablecloth restaurant serves self-titled Chinese fusion dishes that celebrate flavors from each region of China. One of their specialties is a whole roast duck meant for two or more people (perfect for date night) that comes with a bevy of sauces and accompaniments from hoisin sauce and pineapple to sugar, cucumber, and scallions." - Celina Colby

Tried take out for the first time. Flavors are pretty good. Do not get the beef stir frys, very dry meat. The bamboo pork and pork belly fishes were pretty good. Portion sizes are a little small. Drunken chicken wasn’t that good and the cumin lamb was fried, different from what I thought.

Jiang Nan used to have excellent food and a variety of menu items, including some excellent traditional Chinese dishes. Apparently, they have decided to reduce their menu to apps and a few combo dishes. Will not be giving them my patronage any longer. Too bad.

Now that the chef is back from Shanghai, this place has really found its stride. It gets better every time I go and is now one of my top five restaurants in the city. It feels like a different restaurant than when it first opened and the food is really good now.

Very substantial portion of good quality fresh ingredients. Authentic flavor, not too expensive for lunch. Came with very large shrimp as well, which I prefer.

Authentic Shanghai-nese cruisine. Our 2nd time there and we keep finding dishes that are unique and delicious. From just a bowl of noodles to their vegi dishes, it is not hard to find authentic dishes cooked just right.

Very good quality. Have tried a bunch of Chinese food in the Waltham area and this one impressed me the most. We got beef with broccoli and Kung Pao chicken. Both very good and fresh tasting.
