Overall, this was a very enjoyable dining experience and a Chinese restaurant I would happily return to. In terms of service, one of the female servers was exceptionally warm and attentive. She was thoughtful throughout the meal, from taking orders to serving dishes, which made the experience feel comfortable and welcoming. In comparison, some of the male staff could improve in attentiveness and service details. With a bit more proactivity, the overall service experience would feel more complete. The food was the highlight of the meal. Every dish we tried was well prepared, and there were no real disappointments. I would especially recommend the chicken dishes. The chicken, whether served as an appetizer or a main, was handled very well. It was tender, juicy, and completely free of any unpleasant odor. The seasoning was well balanced and not overly salty, making it very enjoyable to eat. The vegetable rice was fragrant and nicely stir fried, with each grain distinct and full of flavor. The braised pork was another standout. It was rich, well braised, and flavorful without being greasy, and again very clean tasting with no off flavors. Overall, the quality of the food, the consistency of the dishes, and the attentive service from part of the staff made this a memorable meal. It is definitely a place I would consider revisiting and recommending to friends.

Overall, the food was very good, and you can really taste the wok hei from the high-heat stir-fry. I’d recommend coming here and giving it a try.

The food, while decent, was a bit underwhelming. I was particularly excited to try the 東坡肉, which I was told would melt in my mouth, but I found it to be somewhat disappointing. The other dishes were fine, though not particularly memorable—neither bad nor outstanding. That said, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was bright and welcoming, which definitely contributed to an enjoyable dining experience. While the food didn’t quite meet my expectations, the service and ambiance made for a nice outing.

We came here for the first time and ordered 6 dishes. The greeter was friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. However, we were very disappointed that we were not told about the extra charges for packaging until the bill came. Take-out boxes cost $0.50 each (before tax) and a bag cost $0.80 (before tax) On top of that, we even paid a 15% tip, which made the surprise charges feel even more unreasonable. It would be much better if these fees were clearly communicated upfront so customers know what to expect.

Feel like the exactly same restaurant just like the one before, even though the name has been changed now. Same cuisine, same interior, same food presentation, same service. Anyway, I really dislike their chair, looks comfortable but uncomfortable to sit on. Floor is so greasy, you feel like doing some ice skating when walking. Food is excellent and service is attentive and friendly. It’s a really busy restaurant. Only drawback is it’s a bit pricey, everything else is great. Was surprised to see a dog inside the restaurant. Never seen a dog on owner’s lap inside a restaurant in Vancouver before, this restaurant must be pet friendly, but not sure how long this policy could last lol.

Great Jiangnan style food (from eastern provinces of China). Their fresh water eel in hot stone pot is SO GOOD. I can’t stop keeping coming back to this place, despite hundreds other Chinese cuisine options here in Richmond.

Came here to try their Jainan style foods. The service was very good and the dining room was bright and chairs comfortable. The food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Will come back to try the other menu items.
