Liked the curry fish head and sambal sotong. Food very fresh and tasty. We were sitting near the stall, after we finished the food, the lady at the stall brought us a tray for us to clear the plates when she saw us stacking them up. It is always great to see people with initiatives and helpful and kind. After the lunch peak hours, the staffs' turn to have their lunch. Five of them sat together and dig in for their meals after the lunch rush. Happy!

2nd time here eat the awesome fried rice which we tried previously. Apparently today 1 May 2025 the fried rice taste so blant that I'm giving a 1/5 rating which previously was 4.5/5 hence the return trip to try again. Totally disappointed ☹️

Came here twice. Didn't order the stingray the 2nd time but YES for the salted egg calamari. The Squid was light and crispy drenched in steamy salted egg sauce. The sizzling egg tofu was pretty standard, not amazed nor disappointed but was freshly cooked & sizzling so good enough.

It been sometime since we eat jiao cai stingray. The stingray is fresh and tender, the garlic potato leaves is not bad also, the salted egg chicken can skip. Overall still a satisfied meal

The curry fish head ($28) was smooth and paired excellently with the rice. The fish was meaty, and the vegetables, although a bit oily, were bright green, fresh, and flavorful.

One of my favorite stall for sambal kangkong. The kangkong is crunchy, and the sambal is fragrant and spicy enough for the kick. Stingray is fresh and tender. The price is friendly to the wallet, and using the Tuck Shop app gives a further 10% off.

Weekend dates are for feasting! Spoilt for choice at Yishun Park Hawker Center once again (seems to be the theme whenever we are here LOL) and settled upon JIAO CAI Hotplate BBQ @jiaocaiseafood for dinner! If you love stingray wings, their 𝗛𝗼𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘆 ($12/15/18) will absolutely spice up your life! The chunky slab of stingray was succulent & well-barbequed with a tinge of smokiness, and the generous slather of sambal atop was an absolute knockout with a fiery punch! ⁣ ⁣ Their 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 & 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗸 was decent as well! The sauce was well-balanced with the sweetness from sugar plus the tangy ketchup and sharp rice vinegar. We also love that the fried pork chunks were meaty and coated with a thin batter! ⁣ .⁣ 📍 Address: Yishun Park Hawker Center, 51 Yishun Ave 11, #01-39, Singapore 768867⁣

Damage 💸: Wallet friendly Shiok-ness 👅: Sibei Shiok IG-worthy 📸 : Well, it’s a coffeeshop We travelled from all over Singapore (Punggol, Serangoon, Bedok, Clementi) to Yishun just to try The famous stingray - Worth it. You would think young hawkers can’t handle traditional food. But not the case here. The Young master Chef grilled the stingray perfectly and his homemade sambal was out to kill. Spicy yet shiok. So spicy you wanna stop but you just can’t. End up gobbling down 2 large stingrays, 1 plate of kangkong and lala. The drink stall owner must be happy to be located infront of him cause wave after wave of customers have to buy drinks to put out the fire from the sambal. KTPH is also situated nearby if you can’t handle the heat.
