Have been wanting to go here forever and I am quite disappointed.
To start off we got there at 8:15 and it was completely empty, I later came to the conclusion that it only got busy the later it got.
We got sat at the only secluded spot in the restaurant.
We all got plates to share. We ordered the fried calamari, chinatown crispy shrimp, edamame, beef gyoza, beef & broccoli, chicken wings and the filet mignon chow mein. Everything was very hit or miss.
The fried calamari tasted like fish with a super thick coat of batter. It just did not taste like squid at all. The shrimp also had the exact same taste, I find. The beef and broccoli was good, alongside the chicken wings and edamame which were amazing. The beef gyoza was meh. The filet mignon chow mein could’ve been good, but the meat tasted extremely strange.
It got busier and busier as the night progressed. In terms of service, it was just ok.
Would not come back
