JiLLy’s French Fry Factory

Jilly's has some awesome lemonade, and they sell cups that you can get refilled as much as you want for half the cost after the initial buy. That in itself seals the deal for me on them receiving a good review. Thanks Jilly's for keeping us hydrated at the beach. Oh, and last but not least, thanks to the employees for being cool and quick every time as well.

I don't remember NOT going to Jilly's. Always brought back my cup as more of a funny thing to do. Emailed them a picture recently and asked how to get a new one. They thought it was awesome. That cup is 25 years old. How did they treat me? Look at that picture. So cool of them. Sent ALL that. This is why you always go to the same spots. Loyalty.

Fun place for fries at the shore. Not cheap, but nothing is on the boardwalk. The staff were very helpful explaining the options and it was a fun snack / late lunch for the whole family. The largest fries was more than enough for all four of us. I suspect we'll never use the cheaper refill, but it is a fun idea.

The kids wanted a quick snack on our way off the boardwalk. Well they had to have fries so we stopped at JiLLy's and their solid fries. Nothing crazy and a little expensive, but the kids were happy and made the trip back nice and easy.

The oil was old and the fries were burnt on the outside but underdone on the inside. Very disappointing for $9. Guy was nice enough to return it though.

You can't find better french fries on the boardwalk if you ask me. They're always hot and fresh and have just the right seasoning. We recommend buying a refillable bucket and then getting it filled whenever you're wandering the boardwalk. The bucket will also save you a good amount of money too.

Fries were fresh and not overcooked. We actually bought too much cheese for them. They keep the area clean and to top it all off the bucket was free from a purchase at their apparel store. You can also keep the bucket for discounted refills.

Was walking the boardwalk with my family and decided to get chicken fingers and fries. The fries were decent, but when I bit into my chicken fingers, they were ice cold in the middle (almost frozen)! The employees were nice enough to give me a replacement for free. I bit into the new batch AND AGAIN THEY WERE ICE COLD IN THE MIDDLE! Do not buy the chicken fingers here and i will not be a returning customer.

My favorite place in Ocean City! I will ALWAYS make a stop here. Great service, delicious salty fries, and wonderful vibes. LOVE IT

Not sure why this is hanging at 3 stars right now. Some of the best fries on the boardwalk, a large bucket for ~$11. These are large shaped fries which seem to be some sort of hybrid cut of half crinkle cut half steak fries. These are cooked all the way through, so sogginess, no undercooked middle...perfect deep fry job. Ample ketchup to fill from a squeeze bottle in individual cups or take some packets they have out. The best part is the bucket is reusable and refillable for $5 saving more than half. Same goes for the drink. A large lemonade is $7.95 and refillable for much less. The lemonade wasn't that great but nice to see a refillable cup. The fried desserts are top notice if you are into it. Snickers were good but the Reece's absolutely stole the show. Looks like they use a separate deep fryer for the desserts which preserves their flavor not intermingling it with anything else. Dasani water $2 or a larger smart water $3. This place beats the pants off chickies and petes which multiple locations seemed to be out of stock in supplies. SMH.

I love fries! Especially from the boardwalk. I decided to get the bucket of fries so we could bring it back for refills another time. The fries were nice and crispy but needed more salt (def. Need more ketchup). I thought the fries were okay. Some pieces tasted better than others. We still are it up! Maybe next time Ill try another fry place.

Definitely purchase the bucket for $12, then the refills are 1/2 priced. So good, we got at least 1 bucket a day between 6 of us. A reviewer was right, they are kind of a hybrid between a steak and crinkle cut fries. They are good with both vinegar and ketchup.

You gotta try the fries at Jilly's. They're great whether you go with ketchup or vinegar. Get the big tub. You can get a refill for just $4.95!

So we got a bucket of fries here. The kids loved them and it was easy to get them plenty of napkins and ketchup. The fries were just cooked, which made them real good, and they were reasonably priced. One thing I'd say is that they're not very crispy, which isn't my preference, but again, kids loved them so I have no complaints!

What better way to start our walk down the boardwalk. Fries make it better.Very good fresh cut fry with a side of cheese whiz, nice start to breakfast.

Oh, do our grandkids love JILLY'S FRENCH FRY FACTORY! After a long fun day at the beach, some fries hit the spot before our trek back to our rental to make dinner. Our grandkids cheered each time we said we would get fries at Jilly's! The best part for us was the discount on a bucket of fries when we took our bucket back along with our Jilly's drink cup! Our kids and grandkids highly recommend JILLY'S FRENCH FRY FACTORY!

My little princess here With the Mr. FF Guy :) He was so fun:)!!! She wanted to say hello and get a picture with him so bad. And ofcourse Auntie had to get a yummy bucket of FF. Jillys FF always has yummy FF and quick fast efficient service with a smile:) Me being a local here in OC. Ofcourse had to buy my princess a stuff FF as a Memorabilia And love the cups they we're giving out. Bargain price refill :) Jillys by far is a awesome big part of the Ocean City Boardwalk. Living here now almost 3 years summer and winter!!!! Boring!!! I'm so happy and thankful the arcade is open year round!!! Kill the winter boredom blues. Few games Skee ball pin ball. Even grabbed a sweatshirt last week :) they sometimes brave the chily ocean air to be open for the brave walkers. Absolutely love the new colorful candy store. Yummy candy bright cheerful So with that said come on summer 2019!!! Smell of the yummy FF even the sound and smell of novelty shirts being made fresh off the press. In any one of they're T Shirt stores :) My princess will be so happy to see the famous Jillys FF guy dancing around:)!!!! Thank you Jillys family and co workers You all do such a great job even on the busiest of hot summer nights we have here on holidays. I look forward to seeing all you vacationers soon:)!!!! Excellent, much better than expected. Fantastic, friendly service! A small ($5) is huge and perfect for 2 people to share. Plenty of free sauce and toppings. The fries were melt in your mouth delicious. The vinegar brought me back to my youth. Well done Jillys, well done.

It's ironic that Jilly's calls itself a french fry factory because french fries are the only thing they don't do well. Their french fries remind me of those weird crinckle cut spongy frozen fries you buy at the grocery and try to make at home and always come out crappy. All their other snacks and drinks are good- funnel cake, soft serve ice cream, cotton candy, lemonade. But their french fries bite. Go to Curly's Fries at the Promenade for homemade fresh cut fries.

These French fries are evil! I ate the whole damn container. So delicious. The chicken tenders are also great. Gotta love the Jilly's!!

I recently organized a youth group trip do to Ocean City, NJ. I did some research online to see what places on the boardwalk I should check out. This was one of the places that came up as a must try for their fries. I am proud to say that I had these fries for breakfast (followed by ice cream and more fries). I did not think that the fries are as awful as the other commentators. They were hot and crispy and decent. However, I agree they were not earth shattering. I think that Curly's fries were better, which is why I had 2 sets of fries for breakfast - comparison. Perhaps it is because I was eating them for breakfast before my stomach woke up, but I thought there was a decent amount of fries even in the small bucket. Regardless, I thought the size was the exact same as at Curly's. *shrug*

Fresh, hot, and tasty were the fries we got from here. We ordered a side of the cheese whiz and it cost about $1.50 extra and to be honest is a small side portion which is annoying considering how much fries we got with our order the whiz was not enough. Friendly people and good food just wished it would've came with more cheese sauce

Not very clean, guy was making fries without gloves and was touching it with his bare hands. finger nails were all brown and dirty and his mask was below his nose. Girl making drinks didn't wash hands or sanitize between people ordering, and touched straws with hands.

I love jilly's random tshirt store and spend alot of time/money at the arcade but the food section of their boardwalk business is lame. With all the good food elsewhere on the board walk the only reason to eat here is laziness.

They claim that their fries are the best on the boardwalk and may even be life changing. I'm not sure what alternate universe they are living in but it certainly isn't reality. From what I recall a medium bucket of fries is around $6. The bucket is sort of small and the fries aren't that great. The taste is probably on the same level as a generic bag of frozen fries from the grocery store. Definitely pass.

I'm not sure if Jillys knows this but the workers have a tip jar that says that jillys pays them "weakly" and that they get paid nothing and please tip them. That doesn't sound good for the owners at all! I personally think it looked really tacky of them. I'll be going to curlys.

My family shared a refillable bucket yesterday (~$5 for a refill), and I felt the fries were just average. I like curly's or the crab fries place, but my sister wanted to try something new. They have items to spice up your fries such as old bay and ketchup, but I wish there was something unique about these. When we tried to get ketchup, they were out on both pumps but quickly refilled. We will probably eat these again solely because of the refillable bucket.

It's a fine establishment. Dont be fooled into eating those chips on a stick. Theyre really not good and overpriced. Stick with the normal kind! Also--- theyre slow.

Stopped in today for some fried oreos. They were ok, although I thought they had entirely too much batter! I've definitely had better, but they were edible!

good fries and lemonade. Bought the refill cup for the lemonade and it seemed to save me a couple bucks. Other than that nothing to write home to about. Still, I will return next summer when Im in OC

1 star for the fries which were under-cooked, under-crisped, and under-seasoned. Only highlight was the nifty cup thing that also has a slot for ketchup. 3 stars for the fried oreos which were tasty, but over battered. From what I saw other places had way better looking fries.

I'm shocked by the mixed reviews. While Jilly's isn't as good as Curly's, the fries are still very, very good. The batches that I've always had were cooked just right. Could have used a little less salt, and the prices are a little high compared to the competition, but Jilly's still puts out a damn good snack.

The fries are brilliant. My family got some barbecue sauce and enjoyed. It is definitely worth the price. Sadly we left the next day so we did not get to eat there again. But in my opinion I would eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The fries are crispy but not too crispy, the barbecue sauce goes great with it. It's amazing that they make it right in front of your eyes! The BBQ is tangy and semi-spicy, which some may not like but I am a fan of spicy food. I have had no restaurant that tops this place. Before Jilly's French Fry Factory I thought the International House of Pancakes or IHOP was the best you could get. Obviously Jilly's proved me wrong! If you are in Ocean City make sure to stop by here. I find myself looking for excuses to come back here. 5 out of 5 definitely! If you were debating whether to come back here well this confirms the fact that you should!

The fries were more hearty and potatoey than a real crispy fry. Nothing too special about them. We went when it wasn't peak season, but still they were ready to make their fried Oreos :'(

While at OC with my granddaughter we decided to have funnel cakes as a treat on the boardwalk. We went to Jilly's since the line wasn't too long. I eat funnel cake about once a year so I was really looking forward to it. What a disappointment!!! It was over cooked & they were very skimpy on the powdered sugar. I couldn't even eat half. It was bland & hard. Never go back there again. Even my granddaughter didn't finish hers.
