This Jimbo’s has it all. We ordered 20 sandwiches from their deli department and they were the best we ever had. Great job Jimbo‘s. Thank you so much.

Jimbo's in 4S ranch is absolutely the best. I love coming here for lunch with friends at the juice and sandwich bar. They have something for everyone, including a variety of vegan and gluten-free options. Jessica and her staff always provide us with legendary service, custom making sandwiches and smoothies with quality ingredients that keep us coming back again and again. I love that the store carries predominantly organic products, as well as great food in the hot case and deli that is ready to go when you are in a pinch! Love Jimbo's 4S!!!

Jimbo's is a great store to shop at, especially if you're looking for healthy foods. They carry a lot of stuff you can't find or don't usually see in Whole Foods or Sprouts. It's a great place to shop with menus selections. You can pretty much find anything and everything you need when it comes to organic stuff. Staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It is one of my favorite stores when I am looking for specialty brands. Come visit Jimbo's!

One of my favorite local grocery stores. Friendly staff, fresh flowers, meat and produce. Never ever too busy. Lines are short and move quickly. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Everyone here goes above and beyond to ensure customers leave satisfied.

Brenda in the skin care section helped me figure out which products would be best for my current skin condition (redness) and she recommended some really great products! She is so knowledgeable and I left feeling really happy with my purchases!

It is a decent food store, but because it is organic they charge a much higher price than most other stores. Even though they also have organic products. They are an in yuppie store!

This is another local small chain in California that offers natural, organic, and healthy grocery and lifestyle products. This one is in the 4S Commons plaza near Ace Hardware. You'll find a variety of items from allergy friendly grocery items, hot food, produce, and health supplements. Sometimes I've discovered healthier brands here that I would have never seen in a regular grocery store before. Prices can vary. I would say most of them are fair, but a few items can be a little on the pricier side. (Not quite Erewhon or Bristol Farms expensive, but a bit more than a Sprouts or Whole Foods.) Staff were quiet when I visited recently. Didn't interact with many of them during my visit, but no one was flat out rude or anything. There is usually ample parking whenever I've gone. Because it is shared with other businesses, I could see cases where it could get busy, but I suggest going when it's not a peak meal time.

Health freaks unite! I'm still a fan of Jimbo's, but it's a bit too pricey for my budget. I only treat myself here when I splurge--probably once a quarter. Jimbo's is located in a shopping center near ACE Hardware, Ralph's, and various eateries and businesses, making it a convenient spot. Customer service can be hit or miss. Sometimes, it takes a while for someone to show up at the hot food counter to help. The quality of the food is excellent. Gluten-free bread and organic, health-conscious options are abundant, making it a haven for those prioritizing clean eating. The groceries are top-notch and mostly organic, which explains the premium prices. While it's not the best place to stretch your dollar, you can trust that you're getting healthy, high-quality items. The shelves are always well-stocked, and I love the variety of raw foods and specialty products that you typically won't find anywhere else except online. They offer a salad bar, hot food counter, sandwich station (with great vegan options), juice/smoothie bar, and vegan-friendly desserts. Everything is clearly labeled for various dietary needs, which I really appreciate. Parking is plentiful during non-peak hours, so getting in and out is hassle-free. Overall, if this kind of lifestyle fits your budget, Jimbo's is worth a visit. I'd rate it 4 stars!

This review is specifically for the tiramisu cake slice. I saw this and thought to give it a try. It wasn't bad, but it definitely shouldn't be called a tiramisu cake. Coffee flavor is very light to nonexistent, and the cake itself is not reminiscent of lady fingers. It's more like a chocolate cake with a whipped cream filling. If you're expecting tiramisu, I would not recommend this.

This is the best grocery store in California!! Thank you Jimbos for your high standards and providing a great shopping experience. I love jimbos because they don't carry GMOs and it makes grocery shopping a breeze. Great local produce is prioritized and the deli and food bar is outstanding. Staff is always welcoming and ready to help! The stores are always clean and well stocked. You can tell they take great pride in keeping it that way.

I have been shopping at Jimbos in 4 S Ranch for about 10 years. I love that all the produce is all organic and their homemade cold- pressed juices are delicious. The meat is excellent quality and they have a nice craft beer and wine selection. The shelves are always well- stocked and the staff is helpful and readily available to ask questions. It's always a pleasure to shop there!

Tyler in the produce section is a consummate angel!!! He always goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. One of my visits he offered to carefully handpick a pineapple for me, then he offered to slice it for me without me even asking. Gem. Today I didn't find any dill, and he went out of his way to retrieve dill from somewhere else in the store. His disposition is unparalleled, and he always makes my day. Bless you, Tyler!! Shout-out to Ashkan in the meat department and Robert the manager, too. I love this market soooo much!

This is my favorite Jimbo's. I have to write this review though because one of the checkers, Chuck, is one of the kindest, most helpful people I've ever encountered. He went the extra mile to help me find a dessert I needed and the extra effort really made my night.

On my lunch break and saw a great big sign outside for their fresh organic sushi. Proceeded directly to the sushi section to find it completely empty. Asked the gentleman at the deli counter if they have sushi today and he just responded "not really." Perhaps I'll return and try other parts of the store and update my review.

I rely on Jimbo's deli salads. They use healthy oils and everything is organic. And I often mix the salads with meat from their rotisserie chicken. yum. Also the Golden Nugget tangerines are the Best.

Jimbos is the best grocery store in San Diego! The organic produce selection is unmatchable. The juice bar is superb! I love the ginger squeeze! The deli is fresh, tasty, and healthy. I love the very veggie sandwich. They support local and offer a variety of brands. Jimbo's has integrity in everything they stand for. The store is clean. The staff is always helpful and kind. I absolutely love this Jimbos!! It's almost impossible to leave the store in a bad mood. Jessie in the meat department always has phenomenal tips with delicious medleys of spices for the meat that I would not normally try on my own. I love that there are samples and each week and I leave with some thing new and delectable to the pallet. Fresh salad, hot bar and soup bar with great, healthy choices. Always clean and tidy. Chuck is always so fun, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable where he's always introducing me to new items. I am so grateful to have such delicious and healthy food, fun and friendly staff, and safe items for the household. Shout out to Kevin and Alaissa too. They're friendly and helpful too. Thank you, Jimbos! (Much better than the one at The Forum in my opinion!)

We love this Jimbos location! We come here regularly and the staff is always so helpful and friendly. Blake took his time to answer our many questions about cheese. Chuck is always so welcoming and funny as well! Stacie was also super helpful. The store many times has samples so you know what you are buying and the quality. It's a bright and pleasing place to shop at. A great example of how to run a business that values its products and customers.

Love Jimbo's! This is our primary grocery store. All organic produce, so many healthy brands and a wide selection of organic, gluten free, dairy free items. Yes it's a bit pricier but I don't mind spending more for high quality groceries. The customer service is so friendly too and the employees are very helpful. When you compare to Whole Foods and Sprouts, Jimbo's is definitely superior. Also love the hot and cold food bar, and the dessert bar! They make everything in the store using organic and high quality ingredients, with so many gluten free and vegan options too. We've grabbed lunch at their sandwich bar as well, always fresh and tasty. So happy we live near this store.

Love this location! I live in Escondido (another amazing location) but work out by this location from time to time and they are so friendly here! The salad bar and hot food always look fresh and not sitting forever and they have a ton of fresh produce. They have amazing staff that are helpful and friendly! Love Jimbos! Waiting for them to open a coffee bar like in Del Mar!

I BOUGHT A DIESTEL TURKEY BREAST - was OVER CHARGED $10.99 PER POUND!!! Ok let's start from the beginning, giving the meat dept. another chance from last time. I ordered a Diestel Organic Turkey Breast and was told come on Nov. 19th. Came yesterday and they said they didn't get the shipment, it is now Nov 21st at 8am. I don't even live in the area. How can you tell someone to come in, ask when you will be coming, put it in a log book and then not have the product. I called today to double checked for tomorrow, they told me they have them today.... So I drive over and was told they didn't get a lot of organic Turkey Breasts? I told them placed an order for an a 8lb? Where is it? They said they only have regular Turkey breasts. What was the point in ordering this from Jimbos and the excuse is we got 4lb Turkey breasts only. He finds a premium 7.77lb and charges me $10.99, I ask what is the organic price? He checks the computer and says it's the same price? I was like you sure that doesn't make sense. I'm paying $89 for a non-organic Turkey. Well I bought it since I wanted one close to 8lbs. This story doesn't end here let's continue. I was in the area of Escondido and dropped by the Jimbos at that location. I discovered that the one I purchased at 4S ranch should of been $8.99 per lbs. I called 4S ranch and explained the situation and they said they would get the manager, waited 10 min and they said the manager was at lunch to call back in 20 min. I was told I could return it for a refund but the meat manager could not give me the difference since the computer has the $10.99 as the price. I ended up buying the organic from Escondido and now have to come back to return the other one. I will not be visiting 4S ranch location again!! Too many mistakes and some shady practices are persistent here. I would make sure that prices are accurate at this location. THESE TYPE OF MISTAKES SHOULD NOT HAPPEN AND BUYER BEWARE!!! Whoever is the Manager at this location needs to change the price to $8.99 per lb as he is overcharging everyone for a non-organic Turkey!!! UNACCEPTABLE!! Look at this managers replies, he sticks to saying the issue I had with meat glue was not true!! I caught them in the act and he denies it. Now he charges clients more for a Turkey that is priced lower at other locations!! I returned the overpriced Turkey at Escondido and when they asked why I was returning they roles their eyes in disbelief and gave me my refund.

Favorite grocery store! All around great quality products, rarely crowded, and great team always! it is absolutely a privilege to shop here and I am grateful

What can I say, best place ever. Is it overpriced, yes. But you get what you pay for. The apples here are beautiful not bruised...ever!! I don't know how they do it to have such good quality control but all the fruits and veggies here are perfect. I loved the meats all grass fed organic. Good selection of raw milks and cheese. I stuck to the store perimeter so can't speak on the packaged food/processed foods but Staff was always super nice and friendly. I unfortunately moved away and don't have a Jimbos near me and I miss it so much.

WOW!! So this was my 3rd time coming here, and I ALWAYS get the same sandwich...but this time it was AMAZING! The other 2 times it was good, but this one was GREAT! The bread was soft, the turkey was perfect, the amount of fixing on the sandwich was perfect and the gouda cheese (THE BEST PART) was cut in such a way that you got a taste w/ EVERY bite! The lady who made my sandwich must have known that's my favorite part! I did go back again (yesterday) and this time the sandwich was average, and only had a thin slice of gouda cheese. I could barely taste it, but everything else was good. I wanted to purchase some gouda, but the lady working said she actually got the last piece off the shelf that morning (for sandwiches) and their orders have been delayed. Needless to say this will still be my go to place for a GREAT, full-filling sandwich! They are a little $ close to $10 each....but that's what you pay for freshness!

I would like to take this time to give thanks to two amazing Managers that has always been there for me and my family! First, I would like to thank Tori Hendricks who is the Vitamin Manager at Jimbo's Naturally 4S Commons drive, last week Tori had gone above and beyond by helping me in a time of need and I was extremely grateful for her help because not only did she help me out, but she also helped my family. I will no longer purchase any hot food items, soup, deli items, or pre packed item from Jimbo's any more. The flavor and quality has gone down and yesterday was the worst. I would also avoid asking questions that the manager needs to come over. He was unfriendly and unprofessional. He didn't say a word, not even a "Hi!" He looked at me like a deer seeing the headlight on the road. A worker happened to walked up and heard my question and warred for him, and he just quietly walked away. As a vegan, I was happy to see they were promoting Veganuary at the beginning of the New Year. And all the vegan hot food items looked like what they were didn't help the cause at all. I have never seen such a bad quality at Jimbo's. The soup I got and the pre-packed food (from their kitchen) were no longer as tasty as they once were. I miss the quality and the tasty of their vegan hot food entrees and sides and vegan deli item from 3-4 years ago. I hope they maintain the quality of their fresh organic produces. Its just so very sad that I can't say "I love Jimbo's" no more.

I will never set foot in a Jimbo's again. Weekly shopper since 2014. Carlsbad store in the forum has a manager who a few weeks ago challenged me about bringing my service animal in the store. FYI there are two questions that a business can ask legally regarding service animals. He did not ask either. He informed me that the dog had to be on a leash instead of my arms and must be house trained. My dog is x small and 9 pounds. He then stormed off. Really ? Jimbo's corporate do you promote and support this kind of treatment of customers with special circumstances? I walked straight out. Not a dime.

Mushroom soup is outstanding- employees appear to be happy to work there!! I can do without the social justice Campaign

Chuck was extremely helpful and positive. I had several questions an dm he answered them all for me, all with a huge smile on his face. If there were more people like Chuck in this world, the world would be a much better place. I would go back to this store just to be graced with Chucks amazing presence.

Health junkie HEAVEN! Absolutely wonderful place with great customer service. I don't mind paying a premium price for quality food and happy to be of service staff. Since COVID, it's so rare to be in a place that is so cheerful and eager to be of assistance. Their hot and cold bar food are ALL made in store. Organic and fresh ingredients ONLY! The delicious flavor represents the quality and care of their products. 5 BEAMING STARS!!!

Mold on mozzarella on the ready-made spinach lasagna I really liked getting the ready food for lunch, but now I might get them less or not at all.

We've been here almost every day in the last 10 days. We are staying at a hotel close by and have a small kitchen. The produce section always looks and smells so inviting. Everything is always stocked and the fruit has been delicious and not moldy the next day like other markets that we won't mention. We have purchased water from their refill station to put into our reusable water bottles. Their prices are higher than Ventura County for packaged items. They have more options for vegan friendly, gluten friendly and all the other 'friendlys'. Shop has been clean, well stocked and well maintained inside and out. We used the restroom on a few of the days and it was clean and supplies stocked. Staff has been helpful and friendly. They have isles with vitamins, supplements and personal care items. Also things like incense and crystal lamps. I found a few items to gift.

It's a pretty pricey grocery store but it's full of super nutritious and healthy food so that is to be expected. Everyone is nice and helpful and the food sold here is amazing! I got a veggie sandwich and it seemed a little pricey to me for just veggies but I really enjoyed it

When you go to Jimbo's (especially this location), you're not just getting groceries- you're getting an experience(: What makes this place incredible is the people who work here, hands down. Gabby, Tyler, June, Chuck and a few others that I don't know the names of, provide me with the best customer service and truly just make my day. Ever since becoming a mom, going to Jimbo's has been a little "escape" for me and these beautiful souls always make it the best time. Thank you so much, I'm so grateful for all of you. Also, can't beat this place health wise!!

This is hands-down the best organic grocery store I've ever been to. I include Whole Foods, Sprouts, and small chains in this comparison. It honestly blew me away when I came here for he first time. My criteria are simple: selection of organic stuff, and price of said organic stuff. On both accounts Jimbo's gets an A+. The selection kind of blows my mind. When it comes to fruits, vegetables, and bulk stuff especially (grains, legumes, rice), this is my new go-to spot. Great selection of organic meat, fish, and eggs too. Now that said they don't have everything. They don't have fresh olives (they are all in a can). Their cheese section is modest. But that's ok, because for the stuff they do focus on they have an amazing selection. It's clean. The staff is friendly. And oh yeah the prices for organic stuff is way lower than elsewhere!! I highly recommend this place.

Great experience at Jimbo's on Saturday!!! I was looking for a specific type of vegan cookies. A wonderful young man not only helped me find them but actually opened the package so I could taste and make sure it was what I wanted/needed. They were perfect and I bought two packages. He did not have to do that but took the extra step to make sure I was satisfied!! My strawberry pie was excellent thanks to him!

I absolutely LOVEEEEEE Jimbos! I live in Beverly Hills and when I visit my family in San Diego I LIVE at jimbos! So healthy & everything is AMAZING! Love all the employees. Especially Trish. She is a sweetheart. I truly love this location as well.

I interviewed for employment, was promised to hear back from Management within a specific time period with their decision and never received a phone call, email, text message... nothing. I feel that this practice is disrespectful to Applicants and does not encourage reapply at a later time.

I'm often in San Diego and love the grocery stores here and Jimbo's is no different. We went in to grab a few items to make dinner and it was easy to find everything we needed. The staff was courteous and the selection was on-point!

This is a nice grocery store that sells organic produce, packaged goods, and to-go foods. They also seem to have samples pretty often now, which is the main reason I like to walk here on my lunch break! Unfortunately, the prices here rival that of Whole Foods; as a bit of a health nut, I've done my research and noticed that most(if not all) of packaged items here you can find for cheaper at rival healthy grocery stores or online. The same goes for the produce and to-go foods (though I think the sandwich cafe was more reasonably priced, and the Reuben sandwich I had was pretty good too). I still enjoy walking around the store and looking at the goods and trying out their samples (which are usually really good btw), but would probably not do my weekly grocery haul here.

My fav lil healthy grocery store! One of my must stops when I come to Cali. Such a great selection and higher prices but you pay for what you get. Always have to go to the deli and get a sandwich with sprouts and avocado. The bakery has the best treats also which isn't great for my keto lifestyle but gotta enjoy life. As I was paying the cashier Chuck was so friendly and polite. I was telling him I was from vegas and love this store. He told me to grab a box of cookies and they were on the house! My lucky day! Love the kindness and friendliness of others! A breath of fresh air. The deli lady was also super awesome but I didn't catch her name! Nice job Jimbo's, until we meet again! Keep it fresh and flavorful!

Jimbos is my favorite place to shop for groceries. I always find high quality food and products here. The sandwich station and juice bar do get busy during the lunch hour rush but it is worth the wait. Thank you Jimbo's employees - you are the best!

Wow! This is the best grocery store I've ever been to. All Jimbo's are good.. this location is great! Super service from anyone you come across. Personal & Friendly! Quality of produce and cooked goods is excellent. I would drive twice the distance just to go to this location. Bravo!

100% organic. Incredible kombucha selection. Unique grain-free/paleo friendly options. Definitely a wonderful market with so many unique health products to explore. A lot of the herbal supplements and essential oils are ones that I previously only could get online! But having Jimbo's is a real game changer. I think you are paying for the quality of produce and selection, so although it's on the pricier side, it's worth the investment in your health and lifestyle.

I'm not from around here but I'd be very happy to come back. Great vegan, vegetarian, gluten free options. They have a slew of sandwiches and wraps to choose from, hot foods, pastries, smoothies, fresh juices, and coffee beyond a health food grocery store. I really appreciate what they have to offer. What stood out to me with my experience was Stewart from the Deli. The staff behind there were attentive but Stewart turned out to be available when I was ready to order. He was very easy to work with in ordering my complicated order. He knew what they had available for those with special diets and was very honest with his answers. I had left the store already having a good experience with his services which is how I noticed his name. Later, there was a tiny mix up and he gladly fixed it perfectly and professionally and beyond my expectations. I was so impressed and left this store even happier. It's the people who make a huge difference. I'm so glad I came here. I grabbed a healthy dinner, a fresh drink with all organic ingredients, and some groceries to satisfy me during my short stay here. I'm a happy camper. :)

I used to pay their prices as kind of a splurge as I did like their quality. Today, however, the chicken thighs were undercooked (!) and surprisingly tasteless. My Lonestar sandwich was not even worth finishing and the woman at the bakery counter was rude. I walked away without any baked goods or any reason to return. I hope my dog will eat the chicken after I microwave it :(

Been coming here for years since I purchased my place. Prices are a bit higher than Ralph's but the quality of their meat, poultry and produce shows. There are great options for drinks, wine, etc. as well as dessert. Whoever you're looking for, you'll find it here and be out of here in a flash as the staff are very quick at checkout. The store is spacious and the isles are always clear of clutter. All products are well displayed and easily accessible. You don't have to reach too high to bend low to get what you need. There are always parking spots open in the lot and there are also tons of shopping carts or baskets to use. I'm glad there's another option here aside from Ralph's as it keeps prices competitive. If you're looking for a meal already prepared, this place has is too! I suggest their soups or salads, made fresh daily.

I have reported to a supervisor on one occasion, a clerk, and a team lead my finding of expired applesauce, ginger, minced garlic, bars, etc. I really love this store because the service is pleasant and the store is neat. It's my favorite store out of all the stores I've ever visited because of the organic options, but I spend so much time sifting through expired food! It's ridiculous! We're talking a year old! One would think, after I report one item - someone would be sent to go through alllllll of that particular item to throw out the expired food! 2018 baby food in 2019?!?! Unacceptable! And today, no different from the last 3-4 visits. I find more expired items and some in the same area I reported before.

Sorry Henry's but you can toss Jimbo's Organic Salad. Located in 4S Ranch this Natural Food grocer has a small, but very respectable sandwich and entree Deli. Veggies in the sandwiches are organic and the meats are in the premium category. Prices for sandwiches range from 5.99 to 6.99. Prices are reasonable for this level of quality. It's tough to admit, but Jimbo's is better than my old fave Henry's. I ordered the Grilled Lemon Chicken on Sourdough. Toasted sourdough bread, grilled lemon pepper chicken, organic lettuce, organic tomato, provolone cheese, mayo, store ground mustard. Excellent. Know this! - They don't sell regular soda and chips, so figure your total will be 10 bucks if you add those to your sandwich. -Service here was casual and low key. This is defiantly better than the "In your face liberals" at the Escondido Jimbo's, and the sneeze guard Nazi's at Whole Foods.

The prices at Jimbo's is slightly higher than that of Whole Foods. The selection of Jimbo's is narrower compared to Whole Foods, but there are some items that Whole Foods does not carry. Especially when it comes to vegetarian frozen foods and kombucha. The deli makes big, tasty sandwiches and I find the deli counter to be efficient. The choices at Jimbos's deli in regards to prepared foods and salads is not as plentiful like Whole Foods, but it is better than Sprouts. The salad bar is a lot smaller than Whole Foods as well but if you want a one time salad there is enough choices to make a good salad. Now if you were to come to Jimbo's daily for the salad bar, you would get bored. The in-house bakery selection is better than Whole Foods because there are more choices for gluten free and vegan items. Whole Foods depends on bakery items purchased elsewhere. The veggie and fruit area is not as ample as Whole Foods not Sprouts. If you were looking for only these items, go to Ralph's next door for equal quality, at a better price. Cashiers at Jimbo's is friendly at each visit.

I just Love Jimbo's. The food quality is Amazing. I trust everything I purchase. The food and juices are so fresh and delicious. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. I recently had a small issue, and I emailed them. The COO called me direct to resolve the issue. I am grateful to have a grocery store that I know the food/supplements as well as the customer service is on point.
