Jimboy's Tacos

The ground beef Tahoe burrito looks well made. The taste is mediocre, and there is a notable lack of meat with a rigorous amount of grease. The cashier is polite. To use the restroom, you must ask for a key, adding an unnecessary inconvenience. The trash bin opening is not large enough to comfortably fit a whole tray of trash. The soft drinks and sauces are self-serve. This is definitely more of a fast food place.

I’ve been coming to Jimboy’s Tacos in Yuba City for years, and they never disappoint — but lately, I’ve been hooked on their Taquito Burrito. Whoever came up with the idea of rolling crispy taquitos inside a burrito deserves a medal. It’s cheesy, crunchy, and ridiculously satisfying. The crew here is always chill and fast, even when it’s busy. Solid spot for a quick bite that hits the spot every time.

Not really busy but seating area was dirty. Food was really greasy, but I did order the tacos. Chips and queso was just melted nacho cheese. Very pricey for what it is 6 tacos chips cheese and 2 drink 45 +$$

Mediocre Mexican food taste wise; has self serve salsa/hot sauce station, which was a bit messy, tables were all nice and clean at least; the tacos were super greasy, had it dripping all over (forgot to take photo)

Best Mexican this side of border! This food is the Bomb! and the food taste so authentic. I got the large burrito and my taste buds were jumping with joy and anticipating the next mouthful. I loved it, the sauce was perfection. Only thing I could say was that I wish was that I was bigger and could eat more! My platter was overflowing with goodness! Overall great food the server was extremely happy to have people come and eat. It showed 😍

This location does really well with accuracy of orders, food prep, and guest service. They just updated their menu for the drive-thru, so I will update that with some pictures that I took while we were ordering. Sometimes this location gets a little bit busy, but Yuba City is growing and Jimboy's provides good food so that comes with the territory.

I don't have one bad thing to say about Jimboys. They have THE BEST tacos- hands down, their shredded chicken tacos are like no other! I've been addicted to their delicious, perfectly cooked, just trying right amount of crunch, super stuffed, and super flavorful tacos since day one. Literally had me at hello. I live that all Jimboys locations are consistent and keep the standard exactly the same (I've tried the shredded chicken tacos at other locations and... SAME BOMB A$$ yummery!!) This location has a salsa bar with a bunch of different options for salsa, along with lemons, limes, sour creme, and jalapeno/carrot mix- so good!! You can refill your drink as many times as you want and the location is easy to get to. This Jimboys gets 5 ginormous boss stars, a high five and a Hell Yeah!

Best chain tacos out there. I always have to order a pack of original beef and the grilled chicken is amazing too. Load up on the pickled jalepenos have some heat and their hot sauce hits the spot. A must try it California.

Love this place. Have to go every time we are in California. Try the hamburger taco. It's a hamburger in a taco shell instead of a bun. Love the sauce they put on it.

Tacos are great. I had the hamburger, cod, steak and carnitas. All solid. I recommend this place.

Taco's are generously filled with very tasty meat. My favorite is shredded chicken. The taquitos are awesome. They are best when you order them lightly cooked. Drive-through is great and the employees are very friendly.

Frist time going to jimboys in my life and I will say it was probably the best Mexican me and my family have had in a long time from a restaurant the only complaint we would have if you can call it one was the salas they put on the salad was a little hot for our tastes but that's not going to hold back a 5 star review. service was great fast and friendly. I will be coming back again and again.

We love Jimboy's Tacos nothing better! However they seem to be a little chintzy on their hot sauce packets. I ordered three boxes of their six taco Box, so that is 18 tacos, right? They gave us four little packets of green taco sauce and I asked if I wanted taco sauce. I guess I should tell them how many I want next time. Otherwise tacos are wonderful. Just need them to hand out a bit more green taco sauce or red, how about one package per taco. Next time I will remember to ask for more.

Love Jim boys tacos, the bean and cheese burrito is also very tasty. Prices are not over the top. Service is pretty good, but the make everything as it's ordered so it takes a minute.

I went to get lunch yesterday and spent around $30.00. They were slow, but I was patient. When I did get my order it was all stuffed in one bag. I paid for it and I left. But, when I got home and pick up the bag it rips and all the food goes flying in our gutter. I tried to salvage the food but most of it was in the dirt. I called the manager and she wanted me to bring it to her! Lol, I was not going to dig in the garbage tots for proof! I know too many people are dishonest. Especially the last two years!! I can go elsewhere!! I know that times are challenging for many people. I try to eat and shop locally to help our economy.

Went in for some tacos tonight with my family, and Gabby, the cashier gave us incredible service and even made my kids laugh. Her stories are awesome. I definitely will come back!

Food was great and customer service was excellent the drive thru was quick and they were very friendly

My wife ordered a 6 pack of tacos, some churros, and few other items costing over $40 using door dash. When food was delivered it had a single beef taco. The receipt only showed for a single beef taco, but the receipt and amount charged to card was for the full order made to door dash. Upon calling and explaining this to Jimboy's staff, which don't seem very competent in regards to customer service, their response was we would need to pay for another 6 pack of tacos...repeatedly we tried to explain we already paid for this and just wanted what we paid for. After they continued to argue we gave up and just got a refund issued through DoorDash. We rarely eat at Jimboy's, but my wife was having a craving. After this experience we won't be back, there are plenty of taco places around here.

Stopped by Thursday afternoon and wanted to to try their tacos. They had a burrito special going, so I decided to go for it all. The steak burrito was decent, I loved the toasty tortilla. Although thin, the plated platter made it very good. They offered lemon on the side and this greatly helped with flavor. The shrimp tacos were good, however they're a little pricey. Del taco offers them as well and I honestly preferred those as well as the cheaper price point of 2 for $5. Service and cleanliness were good, it is decent food but the pricing overall is a little high. Definitely worth a try. The place overall feels like a step above traditional fast food.

I was hoping for good things, at least a step up from Taco Bell, well I was wrong. The first two visits were really good. I loved the extra options allowed here vs other fast-food Mexican restaurants. Then today. The restaurant messed up my order, which I couldn't have known until I got home and started eating. I don't usually unwrap a burrito to make sure they actually put meat in it, they did not. The problem comes when I called to inform the staff of a problem. All they had to do was refund the difference in price between what I ordered and then received. They refused and the staff members we spoke with really could not have cared any less. Needless to say, we won't be returning. It's a shame that the attitude of the employees is going to keep people away.

This is ridiculous. My tacos were poorly put together with barely anything in them, my beans and rice were cold, and I think I just changed my mind about Jimboy's. I haven't had Jimboy's in years but it always hit the spot before. I'm on fertility meds and had a specific craving for Jimboy's only to be let down... I guess no more Jimboy's for me.

I've had marysville Jimboys so was happy to find one in Yuba however the food was awful. $45 and received the worst chili relleno, cold and tasted like a scrambled egg. The queso fries was more like a cup of nacho cheese with a side of fries, not authentic queso. The churros also not good! Taco Bell has a better option. Sorry, but when people spend these prices they expect for the food to be worth it.

After dining out at Chili's Yuba City and spending the entire evening on the toilet, Jimboys tacos was a godsend. Solid taco salad with the amount of meat that you paid for. It's mind-boggling when you can just run over to this restaurant and it is far superior product then to Applebee's or Chili's. The food from chilies contained some type of canned cheese sauce with the chipotle chicken pasta.

Normally, about once per week, we enjoy meals from this location, but I don't know who the heck was on shift tonight! The carnitas didn't taste right and the grilled chicken in our tacos were downright disgusting; over cooked, rubbery and tasted as though it was waterlogged (did someone drop the meat and try to rinse it off?). Immediately after eating, mine and my husband's stomachs began to turn and I felt nauseated with sharp abdominal pains. Still suffering hours later. Thanks for the food poisoning; we won't be back.

Best tacos in Yuba City as far as I'm concerned. Their shrimp tacos are awesome and packed with flavor. Their ground beef tacos are full of beef with just enough cheese and their shells are dusted with parmesan before they hit the grill.

Excellent every time, every order! I'm always happy with them and so is my family from the baby to Great Grammie who loves enchiladas!

I waited over 15 minutes in a drive through line that did not move. Pulled over and parked and went inside. I stood there 10 minutes and nobody responded fed to the front. When I finally called to someone I was told "It's gonna be awhile". When I walked out the drive through line still hadn't moved. Needless to say I can't talk about the food because never got any! If you want to eat I don't recommend this location

Food is great... Expensive but good... Employees treat customers very bad and they short changed me 10 dollars 2nd time only in Marysville food is great but everything else sucks

I honestly can't stand this place , no matter what they can NEVER get an order right .. I honestly wonder if they even read the receipts after someone puts in there order .. Seems these people just give you whatever they want you to eat . Crap

Definitely a great value! My husband and I were able to get two full meals for $20. However, I wish that they had a combo meal to make things more cost effective. The tacos tasted really good but I think the enchiladas were kind of bland. Did not try their sauces though so maybe next time I will try those as well. Definitely worth a 2nd try.

The best tacos of life, I don't really like anything else from here though & their drinks are a bit pricey but over all I recommend their TACOS

Our first time here, & we were very pleased! Our food was fresh and so tasty. It wasn't busy, & we received our food quickly. Hubby & I both got platters which come with some salad, rice & beans. Very affordable. We'll definitely be back!!

Tacos are awesome, I usually do the chicken tacos. On my last visit I got the diablo shrimp taco along with the chicken tacos (2) and it was really good. The staff is super nice, and the food comes out pretty quick. The small salsa bar is a plus because you can customize your tacos as you please. Would definitely recommend!

Good food cold beers and good salsa... how ever the food was a bit greasy but not to bad ...I will come back as I've always have...I always get the number 5 and a few cold Coronas...

As far as Jim boys restaurants go this location is nice! The staff has always been friendly and the food is always consistent... when I want a quick lunch I get the taco and burrito meal.. easy ordering!! The taco salads are really good as well!!

Jimboy's is amazing and cheap. We stopped by on our way to a concert and it was so good i stopped by again two weeks later on the way home from sac. I had a taco/burrito combo for around 7 bucks and it was so good. With all these bad reviews you guys should move to Chico because we would love you. I will make sure i tell everyone i know up here to stop by when heading south.. COME TO CHICO!!!!!

today I went to jimboys tacos I have a service dog and some lady complained about my service dog crying like a baby lying saying my dog got on the table she was giving me dirty looks. I come in there all the time ive never had an issue before the man that worked there came up to me and started harassing me saying he got a complaint I told him shes a service dog I have a drs note its illegal to not let me bring her in but he wouldn't listen to me. I wont be eating there again. when I don't have her I get anxiety attacks. I will take my business elsewhere for now on. you just lost a customer.

Wow, what a great find in a little shopping center. Hard to see, but once you get there, GREAT, FRESH, DELICIOUS FOOD. The staff and friendly and fast. Very affordable food and a drive thru too. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Don't forget to try their GUAC! YUM!!

I like this place. I always get tacos. They could have been hotter last time but that's okay. My boyfriends son got a burrito and it looked amazing I'm goin to try that next time. Good prices and good food. Never too long of a wait. I've came back several times and plan to keep doing so. I like the salsa bar too.

Our go-to taco restaurant in Yuba City. Whether you are buying tacos or a combination plate the food is always excellent. Friendly staff. Can't go wrong here for some good Mexican food.

The food I bought wasn't worth the $7.41, & my boyfriend felt like it smelt like cat pee & cat litter when we walked in, won't be going to this again.

My wife and I love Jimboy Tacos. The food is always fresh and tasty. Last night we stopped for carry out at the store in Yuba City and something is definitely wrong in the kitchen at the Yuba City store. The carnitas was dried out and obviously had sat in a hot pan all day barely edible. The ground beef had a terrible burnt taste. I've tasted something like it before. When the moisture cooks out of the meat and the seasoning and meat begin to burn in the pan and water is later added back in. It is a taste I will not forget and nauseating. Ended up throwing away $20 worth of food. I don't think I can ever eat here again.

A great value! Way more delicious food than 2 people could eat for under $20. My wife and I eat dinner there at least every week and we never get tired of it.
