"A sandwich chain better known for lightning-fast delivery than memorable subs launched a “Home in the Zone” contest offering one entrant up to $250,000 toward the purchase of a house located within a five-minute delivery zone of one of its stores. Applicants must submit a 250-word essay by October 4; 500 entries will be randomly selected, then pared down by essay and other criteria to produce finalists and a single winner. Paradoxically, only people who currently live outside the chain’s more than 2,800 delivery zones are eligible, a rule that leaves many urban neighborhoods effectively excluded (for example, the nearest location to Manhattan is across the Hudson in Jersey City). This was just ridiculous. I go in and order a #16, I put that I ask for no mayo and on wheat. On the recipt it shows a #15. I have to explain to three staff members the issue. And they still made it wrong, and added cucumbers for some Reason.

Delivery took over an hour. Called the store and no one ever answered. Phone always went straight to voicemail. I would not recommend getting food from here.

They door cut my elderly mother's leg and when she asked for a bandage they said no ..didn't help her and now her leg is infected...you guys could of at least helped her ..she was bleeding every where with no help..I hope someone treats your mother better then you treated mine!!

One Hour and 12 minutes to get one sandwich last night. What happened to the freaky fast Jimmy Johns I love. Sandwiches used to show up in 15 minutes or less sometimes. I ordered this before a basketball game started and it didn’t show up till halftime.

Their food is tasty and fresh, and relatively healthy for fast food. However, if you get delivery it's extremely hit or miss whether you get an actual JJ driver or an Uber driver. I have had nothing but good experiences with JJ drivers, but the Uber drivers deliver my sandwiches late, they often have difficulty locating me, and they chuck your food in a random location. This happens whether I'm ordering at home or on campus. The busier they are, the more likely you are to get an Uber driver. If you're eating in or carrying out though, I've always had good service. This is the best method to get JJ in my experience.

I’m giving three stars on the service cause it’s not every time this happens. Got home to realize it’s not a 20 oz coke bottle in my takeout bag. It’s an empty paper cup. Who puts the paper cup in the bag and then staples the bag shut?

Speedy fast is not what I got. I made an order online and it took a hour for it to be delivered. I was on my lunch break and made the order before I left at 11:12. This store is not far from me at all only 1.2 miles down the road. There’s no reason it should have taken this long I got it at 12:10. The food was really good I just wished that I had more time to enjoy it.

Terrible services. It run by kids in the evening and they're more worried about their phone then the job. I said thank you for my sandwich and not one of the 4 employees could say thanks for coming in or anything. They seemed more annoyed I was there asking for a sandwich and interrupted their fun time.

Ran out of bread. How can you be a sandwich shop and run out of bread ??? The cashier asked me if I would like a lettuce wrap, tf I look like one of the people on that key toe diet ??? Nah, that ain't me G. I'm not a baby boomer so I didn't go off on the cashier tho cause it's probably not his fault. But you know who's fault it probably was, the manager who is probably a baby boomer who doesn't know how to conduct basic inventory. Sad! From now on I'll be taking my business to goodcents since they actually have bread Edit: Corporate sent me a gift card, and I went back and they had bread.

went for dinner and had good experience until one of the workers seemed to have a fit about the bathroom door being locked and proceeded to slam it. He then later gave us attitude about asking for a side of vinegar and told us we couldn't get any while his co worker was filling it up for us right in front of him. overall normal jimmy johns but the one worker was terrible

Because we work so much, eating out a few time a week is normal. We used to get Jimmy Johns 4 or 5 times a month for the whole family so the order was pretty big. Then all the sudden one day they won't deliver to us. Have us call the other Jimmy Johns that is farther from us to order and they said the same thing to call the other Jimmy Johns. Well, we decided that Firehouse subs works just fine. How can you have PAYING customers with large orders turned away and ask them to call the OTHER JJ in town THAT IS FURTHER AWAY just for them to say no the other one is supposed to deliver to you. Ridiculous and we haven't been back since.

We were driving across the country and stopped at The Bluemont Hotel in Manhattan, KS. Most of the restaurants were closed by the time we settled in. We called Jimmy John's to have two subs delivered. We got the J.J. Gargantuan and the Hunters Club. They were fantastic! They were big hearty subs and the bread was fresh and delicious. Great experience!

Terrible service. I have been a very loyal Jimmy Johns customer but my experience last night has made them lose my business and the business from everyone in my sorority as well. The manager was very rude and lied. Not only that but he ADMITTED to lying to me (and many girls in my sorority) and continued to be rude. Then he proceeded to hang up on me when I was only trying to solve the issue. Im very unsatisfied. I have never had issues with them until last night and I order at least 4 times a week from them.

They messed up on an order (an unwich ordered over the phone) that specifically had to be gluten free (celiac's disease) and delivered a sandwich on regular bread. After delivering, they promised they would remake it. They later called back and said that they would not remake the sandwich unless we PAID for another sandwich. Terrible service.

I just finished eating my JJBLT at the Via Christi ER where they delivered to. Wasn't as fast as their commercials but after waiting here for 7 hours it was a lot faster than that. The kid even apologized he was running behind instead of ignoring it and jetting out of here. Decent prices, food tasted great (better tasting than Subway or Which Wich), and cured my hanger. Also the web site wouldn't let me order online saying they were closed when they were actually open.

Not a very good experience today. Napkins were not readily available for customers and try messed up our sandwiches. When I asked for refund of the extras they charged but didn't put on the sandwich they acted like I was lying. I said you are welcome to look for yourself. Was not a fun experience with a 4 year old and he not getting what he wanted.

The best Jimmy John's I've ever been to. Delivery is actually "freaky fast" and they even deliver to buildings on the KSU campus which is super clutch. I've always had a good experience eating at the restaurant too. You see some interesting things here from 12am-3am stumbling in from the bars on Thursday-Saturday but you might just meet some new friends!

I ordered online, like I have done for the many years I have worked on the K-State campus, and received no confirmation email or even a phone call. When It was already the end of the lunch hour, I called and the person working told me they had tried to look for my room number and couldn't find it (hello, I've ordered from the same office for freaking 3 years now!) Not only that, they had apparently called my office number. I'm pretty sure I would have noticed a phone call. Incompetent is the only word I have to describe them.

OMG, I haven't had such delicious subs anywhere before. I lived in New England before this and having survived on vegetarian subs all this time, this place was heaven. Their french baguette or whatever they use, plus fresh mozzarella, is divine. The place is casual but they home deliver and are REALLY fast. Love it!!

They're great! Wish they delivered out just a bit further to my area. That said pickup isn't too painful in the middle of Aggieville during off peak hours. My company uses their catering platters every year for our annual meeting. Online ordering and pickup couldn't be easier!

Vary angry not freaky fast but freaky slow I strongly suggest never getting jimmy johns from here unless you plan in warring your food n hour latter then when you ordered it I'm insanely frustrated and I still had to pay full price
