Jimmy Johns way, Straight to the point. This sandwich shop dishes out food fast, like freaky fast. Orders like mine a roast beef to be specific, #14 (Roast Beef /w Turkey). Grab some chips and your out. New choices on bread is a plus! Right off the light raid on central. Park Central development is continuing to change the look of the area and Jimmy Johns is right in the middle.

I stopped by twice last week last time was on Saturday afternoon. Employees were very friendly and helpful the girl who made our sandwiches was very polite and clean had a mask on and changed her cloves before making the sandwiches. Food was very fresh and delicious. Prices are ok. Good experience overall and I'm most definitely going back there.

Alyx greeted my husband and I with a smile. And I asked a very important question (to a pregnant woman) I asked about a specific sandwich and asked if he could heat the meat up as I had been craving it for a while now. He went above and beyond to make this happen for me. I did hesitate to have him make it as I didn’t want to cause any trouble if it would be an inconvenience for him and the staff. He insisted that he had a way of figuring it out. With a smile he assured me it was no problem at all. I know it’s a simple question but for us pregnant women who can’t have cold lunch meat for health reasons. This made my day. Thank you Alyx we will definitely be coming back to this spot

So I really enjoy Jimmy John's when my order is made correctly but on more than one occasion my sandwich has been missing things that I didn't ask to be removed from it.

Have had delivery from this location—incredibly swift. Went to order lunch another day and before I even went to the counter to pay, my order was ready. Jimmy John’s fast, but I think this location has been the fastest! Thank you!

I ordered a spicy Italian for my wife in the hospital and found 2 hairs sticking out of it.

The soups taste like they ve been simmering for hours.

Unfortunately, I chose to make a pick-up order at this location for a late lunch today. Not only did I wait in-store for over 20 minutes—effectively wasting half of my lunch break—but a couple of the staff members were also curt, rude, and disrespectful towards me for no apparent reason. Before my current job, I worked as a shift lead in casual fast food for years, i.e. I KNOW that this situation was handled very poorly from the start. I will not be ordering from this location again and I will advise my coworkers to do the same. Total waste of my time and the staff left a very bad taste in my mouth. Really unfortunate. Try Jersey Mike’s or Sprouts instead.

Free Combo After 2pm One of my favorite sandwiches is the #9 Italian Nightclub. I prefer this one over The Vito unless they are out of a certain cold cut. This is one of the best promos I've seen for Jimmy John's. It comes with a medium drink and dessert, chips or potato salad or pesto bowtie pasta. We were also offered a larger size drink (extra charge may apply). The sandwich has to be at least a regular size sandwich or large. Smaller size sandwiches don't apply with this deal or the cheaper items. Check with employee. This place has been very consistent with quality and service.

When your craving s sandwich I know there are some local non~chain options that I always try to support but I still have a small place in my heart for Jimmy John's, the rare times I crave tuna there's is delicious and it most likely has tuna in it as opposed to other chains in the news......#9 is my other go to, a plethora of Italian meats and provolone with oil. Great flavor and great bread! Staff is always friendly and accommodating with my sometimes odd off the menu requests. I can't say I'm a regular but when I am near Park Central sometimes it hits the spot!

Employee handled cash and used some gloved hands to make sandwich. Doesn't seem like store takes food safety very seriously.

This Jimmy John's saved our company party after a different sandwich shop completely ignored our prior scheduled order. Jimmy John's, and specifically Alex came to the rescue. They quickly assembled 3 30 pack boxes of sandwiches in less than an hour. They even delivered fresh bread from another store to keep up with their quality, I don't have enough good things to say about how their customer service. Thank you!!!!

I honestly can't believe I spend $33 for one sandwich with two chips and a fountain beverage. We had turkey and bacon. It was lacking flavor. The bacon was cold and had no smoke flavor. Turkey bacon is better than this back. The bread was soft. Had they actually given me the pickles I ordered, the sandwich would have had some kind of flavor. I'm annoyed with myself that I even bothered to try this place.

Came here at 10:35 door still closed and locked was hoping to get a quick sandwich I planned everything out considering the fact I had to take a Uber now I have to go to work with no lunch

I love coming to Jimmy Johns when I feel like gorging myself with what can only be described as a medium loaf of fresh baked delicious mouth watering starchy carb filled soft chewy and most yummy bread. They also put lunch meat, cheese and other fillings to your preference inside! Most of the time the orders come out freaky fast but this time took quite a while because they were prepping a big order for delivery. Aside from that the only downside of JJ's is their chip selection. They're all kettle chips and are extremely rough and the roof of my mouth and can make my gums bleed if eaten too aggressively, ha ha. My advice is to skip the chips and dive in to that fresh baked scrumptious loaf! #4 Turkey Tom with cheese is my fave. Simple and delish!

Don't come here if you're trying to grab a quick lunch!!! I ordered a little John combo. I waited 30 mins! Ridiculous " freaky SLOW"

There is nothing fast or expedient about this location. Presently waiting 45 mins for an order and I'm less than a mile away. When I try and call, no one answers. And there is no way to cancel my order or change my tip. Sucks. Will never order from this loc again. I recommend checking out any of the other great fast restaurants in park central, which are obviously more prepared for downtown phoenix lunch time traffic. For now, I'll remain starving.

The sandwiches here are top tier Jimmy Subs, the store is cleaned out to my OCD perfection. The people... don't get me started on the people there.. Karizma the main one is, phenomenal! She strikes up conversations while I wait like 1 minute for my sub! The freaky fast is true. Logan and Alisha are also top notch sammy makers, never had bad bread, always made to perfection with my specific food allergies, which they don't complain about thankfully. I come here all the time! I'll continue to come to this store. I won't go to any other Jimmy John's. They don't make it, serve it, or delivery it quite like this one. So I thank the whole team at this store! I know customer service is hard, but keep up the good work! P.S I'd post a picture of the delicious sammies, but it's just too dang good to wait!

I've dined at or ordered to-go from this Jimmy John's location for a few years now. Each and every time I've visited, everybody has been extremely friendly, helpful and efficient! The restaurant is clean and the prices are fair. They also deliver. Be advised that this location is down-town surrounded by sky-scraper office buildings, so you'll want to arrive by 11:00 AM otherwise, you will get stuck in the, "lunch rush". This sandwich shop is located off of North Central Avenue; I think the area is called, "Park Central". There's plenty of parking and a Starbucks a few doors down. I always enjoy visiting this Jimmy John's location - a solid 5 stars!

So I ordered turkey time to be delivered and when I got it it wasn't as I had ordered it but it's so hot out I just didn't wanna go through the runaround of trying to have someone pick it up I called them to let them know and they offered to do just that give it to them and they'll bring a new one or bring it in but since I was working at the office I thought is there anything else you can do for me and the manager ChrisGave me a $10 credit for my next visit he was so nice and when I came in to pick up my order he thanked me for giving them another chance and they were very busy in the store so clean and the food so delicious but he really made it from a frustrating office lunch mishap to a future customer who will always be loyal he gave great customer service and made sure he advised me of it before I left super nice we'll always come here

Two stars is actually being generous. If you want your sandwich freaky fresh don't come to this location during any part of the lunch hour. I even called ahead and paid before hand. I still don't understand why it took so long considering they have 2 sandwich making areas. Then when I got the sandwich home the tomatoes were green. I guess that's extra.

Great lunch spot. Efficient service with outgoing service people. Great sandwiches ~~ great bread selections. Easy to pack your sandwich and go. Prices are reasonable.

Always delicious and crazy fast. Have a hard time trying something new so I generally default to the turkey Tom + provolone and onion. The thinny chips are delightful and round out a nice meal. Service is fine, not outstanding or bad but quick and easy. Delivery can take a bit from this location during busy times but nothing crazy. A bit of a pain to get into during construction but doable.

Closed well before hours listed online. No hours posted on the doors of the establishment or anywhere. They don't do online orders here either. Wasted my trip over here. Most basic thing is posting hours.

Open til 5?! On a Sat?! There are no hrs posted on the door. Not the first time this has happened. Like if you are "Open" why is your door locked? Or if you are closed maybe post that on the door. The location looks deserted most times anyways.

I have been ordering from here for the past year, and lately they have been going down hill. The order prior to today took over 45 minutes to get to me. I called about 35 minutes later and their answer was, your sandwich was on its way. Not freaky fast and with no clue as to why??? Today I received a beach club and the turkey looked like it was beat up (see pic). Never had a turkey sandwich with such gross looking meat. Ugh, do not plan on ordering from here again....

There were sharpies hanging out in their meat. Yes, they saw it sitting there but never took it out...

For the record, I don't eat at JJ's so please know this isn't about the service or meal experience. However, it is VERY DISAPPOINTING that the JJ's delivery man was in such a hurry that he found it necessary to jaywalk across 6 lanes of traffic on Central, then zig-zag through waiting traffic on Earll on his skateboard. In addition to being an extremely unsafe practice by the young man for both him AND traffic, it shows a blatant disregard for other pedestrians and for traffic laws. I remember back in the day, Domino's Pizza drivers were under so much pressure to deliver in under 30 minutes that they put their safety at risk. I hope this kid isn't working under those conditions & was just feeling immortal like kids that age do. I tried to report this on the JJ's website, but after entering the information, I got an error message (how convenient).

This place is officially dead to me...DEAD TO ME, I TELLS YA!!! I've given them a few chances now, but after today...DONE! I went in, and there of course was a long line (hello...lunchtime!). I get that. I go to the counter, order, try to pay and, according to them, my credit card is declined...I try two more...DECLINED!...okay, weird, but it's getting a bit mortifying at this point and the line is getting longer. So, I pay with cash. Move on...I get my order (a Slim sammy which does not include anything except meat and/or cheese - that's it!), bring it back to work...there's lettuce, tomato and onion on it...um...exsqueeze me?...oh and by the by, each and everyone of my cards has available funds on it, so what the french... I guess if I want a sammy from now on, Duck and Decanter, here I come!

My husband and I stopped in while attending the Cruz on Central. We were disappointed with the outcome. The bread was bland, the sandwich could have been made better. The restroom was a horrid mess and filthy. There were no napkins nor salt n pepper on the tables. We will consider Subway or Miracle Mile next time... Carol D'Andrea-Teague..

You think they would aspire more when they are rated 2 1/2 stars. I ordered a sandwich for my grandson who is 2 and LOVES his lil john plain ham and cheese. With tomatoes. Just like that. I personally am not a fan of Jimmy John's. So...come to Grammy's, have her order just exactly what you like...and you get something else entirely. ???? YOU tell him. He's two. Sheesh. No wonder I don't like Jimmy John's.

Had an good lunch here. I had the #12 which is a simple but yet very delicious sub. Turkey, provolone cheese and avocado spread. The order process was quick and seamless.

I haven't had Jimmy Johns in 3 years and my friend never had Jimmy Johns so he went and got me Turkey Tom with avocado instead of mayo and Pepe on wheat for himself. He thought it was okay because it barely had any meat. I paid additional price for the avocado and there was a dab of it on my sandwich. Thus, mine was dry and boring. Now, I remember why I haven't gone in 3 years.

Ordered a #5, nobody asked me what I wanted on it in the way of oil and vinegar, They sure did not put any on it. There was no condiments anywhere to be seen, and no salt or pepper. No napkins put out and they were stingy with the ones that were. Sandwich was bland, and boring. Service was incredibly fast for lunch time, but That only got them 1 more star. Put condiments out, and napkins and don't preach about how many I can use with diatribes printed on the table. I will use what I want.

I put in my order online at 6:04pm on a Thursday. I would consider that an off-peak time. At 6:44pm I called and asked what the status of my order was. Sandwich was still at the restaurant!!! I reminded them that I am less than a half a mile away. Walking distance or two minutes by car (yes I looked it up just for this review) The lady than answered the phone was nice, and I was told that they would credit back my card so the sandwich would be FREE. (she offered, without me asking) Well it finally arrived at 6:54. And guess what, the drink I ordered (lemonade) was water. They had not checked the drink machine, so I got water. The sandwich was soggy (probably since it was almost an hour old). Normally, they may have bought me off by comping my order, but I did not order a pizza. And Jimmy John's positions themselves in the market a FAST delivery. So.. combining 50 minute delivery time, water for lemonade, and soggy sandwich, and me staying at the office 30 minutes longerthan needed... Sorry Jimmy, you get one star.

Stopped in for lunch today, these guys don't joke around when they say freaky fast. They handed me my sandwich before i even paid for it. Bathrooms made me laugh. Cute gal managing that place too... i'd readily eat honey nut cheetios out of phillip seymore hoffman's crusty asshole just for a chance to hold her hand. Oh yeah, salt n vinegar chips were good too.

I am not a big fan of JJ in the first place. To me the food is bland at best. Pretty pricey too. But I was at the hospital nearby and needed to force some food down. The thing that annoyed me about this place is they clearly give priority to the delivery. This part of down town has thousands of businesses and these guys deliver. But when I walk in my sandwich just gets in line. So if you get unlucky and a lawyer ordered 50 turkey and 50 ham you are kind of screwed. This place also seems to be run by no one old enough to drink. I get these jobs are good for kids. But should there not be one adult in the bunch in case the place burns down or whatever?

Disappointed in the delivery. I ordered online at 11:35 didn't get my sandwich until 12:25. I called twice and was told the delivery driver would be there in 5 minute. I literally work 2 blocks from JJ I just couldn't leave work today. I did call to make a complaint and the manager stated she voided my payment and gave me a $10 credit for next time. I've never had bad service at this location I just will make sure I never get delivery again.

I have never gone to a Jimmy John's as we dont have them where I live. Upon walking in i was greeted, I advised the cashier Ive never been here before needed to look at the menu. So I ordered a #9. He asked we quickly if i wanted to add a pickle... Umm no thank you. Paid for my meal before i could put my money away ge asked to help the next person.... Ummm im still standing here have not even moved yet. I asked if a drink came with...the answer was no. Umm ok so now i have to wait in line again to order a drink. Really if he would have asked me if i wanted a drink i would have known or at least not rushed me out of the way to get to the next person i could have gotten one. So no instruction what to do next i go to get my drink, a man hands me a sandwiches and says #9 right. Ahh yeah thanks... I cant find the lids or straws.... Look up ohhh wow there they are above the soda fountain... Im only 5'5" but really? So i get ready to eat my sandwich and its pretty big, i had to ripe it in half to eat it, would have been nice if it had been cut in half.... The sandwich it self was good, but the over all irritation of the experience will most likely keep me from returning.

Jenny V the manager at jimmy johns is a joke. These people are ridiculous, there was 5 people working and not one greeted us. I had to get their attention and when I did and I had a question everyone decided to answer. Asked for peppers and they couldn't give me any on the side, they asked to bring my sandwich which I already started eating so I went back to bring my sandwich and after 2 people touching it I finally got the peppers in a piece of paper. I asked for the manager and the actual person that touched my sandwich and said that we couldn't give it in a cup was the manager, it was a joke. Will never eat there again or any Jimmy John's

Very slow, and didn't announce when my sandwich was done...just let it sit there. Overall, badly staffed.

Went in expecting a typical sandwhich joint.....worst...will never go back...over priced...food was bland and not worth 12 bucks.... go to the deli next door... would not allow other customer to get peppers on the side of her sandwhich...OVER PRICED!!!!!!

Apparently, Jimmy John's only allows their disabled customers 3 minutes to retrieve their food. Last week I ordered Jimmy John's delivery for lunch. I asked the delivery guy to call my cell phone when he arrives and I will make my way down to the lobby of my office building. By the time I got there, the security desk tells me that they told the delivery man I was on my way down and would be there in a couple of minutes (knowing that I have a disability and walk slowly) but the sandwich guy said that he couldn't wait and left with my sandwich. Between the phone call and me getting downstairs to the lobby of my office building...it was a total of 4 minutes. What a joke!

This location is the worst. Every time I have gone here I have sent back my order for something that was on my sandwich that I did not want and nothing on my sandwich that I wanted. I am never coming back to any Jimmy John's locations.

I order delivery about once a month. They do deliver in a timely manner but they always forget to put cucumbers on my beach club. The cucumbers are literally the only reason i get this sandwich. I love cucumbers. I shouldn't have to tell them how to make the sandwich especially when I'm paying 10 dollars for a damn sandwich . But I guess from now on I'm going to have to. Anyways, it was still good. Not as good as it would be with those delicious cucumbers slathered in mayo. I'm gross I know lol. I love their bread tho. Well that's all I have to say. Thanks.

I usually enjoy ordering delivery from here since it is so close to my home, however this past delivery was absolutely terrible. The guy gets to my place 20 mins after my order, usually they arrive in 5-10 mins, as soon as i open my bag there are no chips. My appetite is gone. I called jimmy johns and told them the delivery guy forgot my chips immediately I'm put on hold for a min then there is a new guy I'm speaking to. I don't appreciate being placed on hold as soon as i call without a prompt or that the person was going to get the manager. They told me he would be on his way with my chips and as i looked at my sandwich i had plans to get on the road to my friends house not be waiting another 20 mins for chips. I stood there waiting and finally decided to eat my sandwich however it ha dbeen 30 mins and still no chips, so I called jimmy johns told them to forget about my chips and to put a credit on my account for the chips and lousy delivery service, this was a total of an hour i had waited. The manager told me he should be there momentarily and i told him well I'm leaving my house like I planned to do an hour ago not wait for chips. Needless to say i wont be ordering from this location again. On a side note If I want to order my sandwich my way don't interject and try to get me to buy something else.

An overdue review. Other Jimmy Johns locations I have been to put this one to shame. It's super busy, takes forever to order, service is fast but you get a sloppy sandwich that has everything falling out. It's clean just a little too crowded at times.

Today is July 5th, 2016 and, at 1:15pm I was met with the most egregious customer service in the history of my travels to restaurants around the world. The short young man that took my order was so rude, I walked away speechless and so did other customers. He should not be an employee of Jimmy John's because, his customer service perspective is BELOW zero. I am shocked and, in disbelief at what I experienced today. I am a business owner of 14 years in the field of law and, I will never.....never, never go back to this place of business again. I will recommend my employee's to do the same. Egregious to say the least. If, I could rate the customer service according to my experience, it would not be 1 star. I would be a negative ZERO.

I used to go here all the time. But recently they made the bread more soggy. I don't know if it is the meat has a lot of water or something. The sandwich felt really soggy.

The employees here are very fast at making the sandwiches, often times they are ready before you can even sit down. They also use generous amounts of meats and toppings. It is not uncommon for a sub from this location to weigh almost twice as much as one from a Jimmy John's down the street, meaning more food for the same price, and a better tasting sub. The employees are very friendly when you walk in and they usually have more then enough employees scheduled to work so that things run efficiently. My ONLY complaint about this location is the reduced hours. They close at 7pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends, but almost the entire surrounding area is downtown businesses, most of which are closed by then, so I doubt they would get much sales after those hours if they stayed open later. That being said, if you can make it there before they close, its worth the trip to this location, even if it's not the closest to you.
