The meat was tender, juicy, and loaded with that slow-smoked goodness that sticks to your fingers (and your memory). I’d come back just for the spicy ribs alone — but the sides were top-notch too. Great portions, great vibe, and you leave full and happy. Verdict: If you like your BBQ bold and spicy, don’t miss this place. 10/10 — bring napkins!

I’ve never liked coleslaw in my life until I tried Jimmy’s. It’s fresh, crisp, and actually delicious. Their macaroni salad and potato salad are just as good & flavorful and the perfect side to every plate. But the real star? The tri-tip. Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I’m obsessed. Whether I’m craving BBQ or just a feel good meal, Jimmy’s is always my go to.

I thought Busters was great but these guys have tasty BBQ at a greater value. Portions are generous. Definitely worth a trip.

Jimmy’s BBQ & Grill hands down deserves a trophy. The tri-tip is insanely tender and so damn juicy. Their bowls are filled very generously stacked with meat, fluffy white rice, and all the good stuff. You get your moneys worth and full stomach. God and the chicken? Grilled to perfection. But can we talk about the mild sauce?? It’s so good I could literally drink it. Sweet, tangy I want to bottle it up and take it home. If you're in Ventura literally try Jimmy’s these guys are the best! Highly recommend!

Legend has it that Buster’s BBQ, Just BBQ and Best BBQ got freaky and the result was Jimmy’s BBQ. 10/10

Just stopped by the newly opened Jimmys and man o man all I can say is WOW. The hotlinks (RIP) didn't even make it home due to my kiddos going through the box and eating them in the car on the way home. The tri tip is perfectly cooked and made. Sides are good Staff was really nice and helpful going over their specials and favorites which I love (Cough Cough Mothers should take notes) The ambiance was nice and calm, several BBQ enthusiasts excited just like us there's a new place to try. Came for lunch to try this new bbq place. You order at the counter. Friendly service. Ordered the tri tip sandwich with mild sauce, link, macaroni salad and potato salad. Tri tip was nice and tender, bread was nicely toasted, not soggy at all. The mild sauce was too spicy for my tastebuds. Link and macaroni salad were very good!

OMG! This places Rocks,the Tri Tip sandwich was so tender and cooked to perfection! The Rib Dinner is well worth it and Great too. The sides are small portions because the Meat and sauce are the main event. I'm in love. Thanks for the great Lunch, I will be back and recommend to friends.

Amazing food but so friendly We have been here twice. This our new bbq place. And there is a few in this area.

Mild is still a little spicy but we didn't mind. Service was friendly. Like that it's in a food court with outdoor seating.

Very disappointed I guess don't go when they first open seems like you get the meat from the day before pork ribs were hard and dry tri tip over cooked very little meat on the beef rib the bread was good

I ordered the tri-tip sandwich with a side of potato salad and everything was great. Tender tri-tip and lots of it, the spicy BBQ sauce is spicy but very good. The bread was awesome and the exact kind of bread you want for a tri-tip sandwich. I highly recommend and I will be a regular customer.
