"Jimmy's Dockside is the temporary rebrand of Saint James Seafood, offering a casual dockside menu for takeout. The menu includes seafood favorites, barbecue shrimp, a double cheeseburger, clam chowder, and a Maine lobster roll. The aim is to provide a laid-back, just-off-the-boat vibe with takeout-friendly options. The restaurant has also introduced cryovaced oysters and a list of wines and local beers to go with the meals." - Jenn Rice

Got the hotdog and burger combo with fries and a drink for 10 bucks!!!!! Great prices.... Great service. Easy in and out. Super fast getting my food and it was hot and perfect. Fries had no salt 😧, but otherwise everything was cooked fine and as exactly as ordered. Small area inside to eat and a busy drive thru. I would definitely come back.

Enjoyed my food the two times i went at week stay at nearby hotel. The previous staff was expectional as well. But the lady that works the register during the day gives "sundown town vibes" she literally seen me earlier in the week get food with my cousin (he got wings and i got hot dog) Then the night before (with different staff working) i ordered the Carolina double burger with bacon & Texas double burger with extra onions & it as great . But i go the next morning to use bathroom as i wait for transportation to pick up my car & lady at front goes out the way with a line full of customers to say to me "sir the bathroom is for customers only" WHAT! After i been a customer all week supporting your local business & this how you get treated smh (Attached a photo from me there literally the night before waiting on my order)

Ordered a hot dog, fries, brownie, and drink. Hot dog was decent, but they charged me $3.29 for it despite the menu saying $2.09, and they replied, "oh, yeah, we should change that" when I complained. Fries were cold and soggy, lemonade was so cloyingly sweet that it was barely drinkable, and they were out of brownies. Don't waste your time or money.

Just walked out of one of the worst fast food experiences of my life. Every table was dirty and the floor was sticky. Cashier sat down between orders, and watched me clean our table and search for napkins. I ordered 4 whole chicken wings that were so small and fried so hard it was like eating crackling. The Mac in cheese had shells as opposed to elbow macaroni and was point blank tasteless. Additionally my coke was flat. The only decent thing from my order were the fries and hubby said his fish sandwich was decent. Customer service was non existent and the energy of the spot felt like struggle and despair. A total waste of my money and time.

Google
I really enjoyed their fried catfish. I have stopped by multiple times to get the fried catfish sandwich which comes with cole slaw and tartar sauce. The buns came toasted as well. The service was quick, the staff members were friendly, and the price was decent. Plenty of seatings inside.

Google
Very good dogs, good choice of toppings and pickles would be a nice added choice. Only reason not 5 stars is inside the dining room could use a good cleaning over haul, not just the tables. Other than that 2 👍up!

Tyler Howerton

Google
Best hot dogs in the area. Affordable, tasty, and a home town feel when dining in. Very clean. Will be back when I crave a hot dog!

Google
Food was good, and came out quickly. The reason it doesn’t get more stars is because of the food handling observed. Sauces and cheeses are left uncovered, and a lot of the meat is kept warm on the stove. Doesn’t look like there is a timer or in the indicator to show how long the meat has been there. I also think they should do something different to steam the buns. Yes, you were going for the nostalgic look in the dining room by putting black-and-white photos, but I think it would be much better if there were some original ones mixed in.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to try Jimmy's hotdogs. First walked in we were greeted with a smile. Customer service was good. We ordered hotdog all the way, and we ordered a cheeseburger with fries Cheeseburger was average. It didn't really stand out to me, but it wasn't terrible. Either the french fries were OK but some of them on the inside looked gray was also I think if they worked on the chili and made it a little bit better that would possibly make the hotdog stand out more on both of them go with a bun maybe a potato bun and maybe toasted a little bit on the grill then I would say that the food would live up to its name but as it stands right now, I thought everything was just mediocre not great, but not bad .

Yelp
This was my first time eating here, at recommendation of my boyfriend who had been and knew that they have good food. We had a good experience. The lady taking our order wasn't overly friendly but she also was not rude (fine with me) .. the wait time for our food was not long - when we got the food everything was hot and fresh, literally just cooked. My catfish was very good and so were my boyfriend's hot wings. I've seen other reviews knocking this place.. I think that these people are expecting this to be more than what it is.. a simple neighborhood grill /cookout. Not a place you ask for a "medium burger" lol...... this isn't fine dining. If that's what you're expecting - wrong spot. The restaurant itself was not dirty. No flies etc; the only thing that bothered me was it was kinda warm inside, I'd go back

Gail D.

Yelp
We live not very far from Jimmy's, so we finally went in and are glad we did. Friendly beyond our expectations! She was very patient with us as well. We kept asking questions bc we normally don't eat at what looks like a fast food dive at first glance. But it is not. It is very clean, The hot dogs are full beef and aside from the extra grease, the burgers and fries were very good, buns included. The place was very empty, as we went in the middle of the week, middle of the day and didn't have much of a wait. My rating is based on the type of place this is. I am not comparing it with fine dining. I give it a five. I just don't usually eat this type/ style of food often. If you go, I think you will enjoy!

Sam S.

Yelp
Hot dogs tasted great! Catfish was good. Onion rings and sides were good, service was fast. Atmosphere is a little old and the place could definitely use some renovations but other than that, great hot dogs!

Charlie W.

Yelp
My first visit here and the food did not disappoint. Go "all the way" with Jimmy's Famous Hot Dogs. I got the combo: 2 dogs, drink and fries for under $10. It's counter service so someone will call out your number. Let's get back to the food. all the way gets you a dog with a chili sauce with a great taste and the right consistency. Over some Cole slaw that added a nice touch of crunch on the dog, throw on some mustard and onions and you can savor one of the best hot dog joints in the Dominion State. The only disappointment was the woman behind the counter who was loud, obnoxious, and gave the place a ruff vibe. 2 stars off for her bringing down the place.

Tech H.

Yelp
I will admit, it's pretty tough to give anyone 1 star. At the same time this has to be the worst child dog ever. The dog was void of taste...either all of the salt was boiled out of it or this is a woefully miserable and tasteless brand of protein. Condiments nor chili could save it. I'm sure I grimaced with each bite but powered through, anyway. The chili was equally lifeless. Here's my suggestion, stay far away from this place unless you have absolutely no alternative- I know I will.

Joe C.

Yelp
My wife and I tried this place because we heard a lot of good things about this restaurant. When we walked in we felt like we did not belong and were getting the cold shoulder. We were not greeted or treated like a customer. It was as if we were bothering them. After a few minutes I realized why my wife and I were getting the treatment. Pretty sad that race dictates the proper service. I will never go back ever and it is sad its all based on my skin color to get good service. My wife and I would never treat anyone like this, ever. God will not allow it.

Bing B.

Yelp
Food is always good! I love their catfish and vegetables. My kids love their hot dogs too.

Nathan R.

Yelp
Super great beef hotdogs and amazing chili. Definitely returning! The service was good and the atmosphere is homey

Jaeson B.

Yelp
Food was not good now worth the price. Chili was so salty and the bottled soda was the best

Ashley F.

Yelp
The service was great food came out fast and hot I got the cat fish and chicken with fries the car fish was good and the fries could of been cooked longer. My husband and mom had the burger and hotdog they said it was okay but that banana pudding was great you don't find banana pudding with actual bananas anymore and they wasn't brown either

Terri W.

Yelp
We frequently Google "best ____" (food item). Then we take a road trip and rate the food on a 1-10 scale. This took us to Durham Sunday for hotdogs. We went to Jimmy's Famous Hotdogs on Hwy 55. We ordered the Nathan's hotdog all the way =9, chicken wings =6, onion rings =10, crinkle fries =5 and fried catfish =15! We like to sample a lot when we go somewhere new and out of the way. They have FANTASTIC catfish! How weird is that? We only ate one filet and brought the rest home for catfish Po Boys. I make a mean tarter sauce. We got it to go then ate off the tailgate in a shopping center because it was nice and sunny. We were nearly attacked by a flock of seagulls. SEAGULLS!! Luckily some woman started feeding them McDonalds fries so they left us alone. Anyway, it was a nice drive and good food. If you go, don't be discouraged by 3 stars because people complained about the wait. What they don't tell you is they fix it fresh so the delay is worth it. Health rating is 96. Since we were fighting of birds, I only took a picture of the catfish at home. UPDATE FOR ONION RINGS: I should've described them. They seemed to have both beer batter and just enough Panko to add more crunch. I don't like Panko only because they hurt the roof of my mouth. I think you would get onion in every bite but I fold and cram it in, in one mouthful.

Anna C.

Yelp
I'll keep this short and simple. First time visiting and I wasn't impressed . . My girlfriend ordered the hotdog/hamburger combo and I ordered the catfish sandwich combo. All three items had ZERO FLAVOR!!!!! I'm so confused how you fail to season the catfish as well as the batter?! I even added a tremendous amount of hot sauce to help & NO! Also the fries were super light in color and bland

Shenna W.

Yelp
My rating is related to the horrible service we received. After hearing about this place we drove specifically to try it out! With great excitement, we just knew it was going to be great. Lies... First, when we arrived there was a line of about two cars in drive thru. Nothing seemed odd about it. We couldn't see the menu so we googled it while we waited. And waited... And waited... A good while has passed and no movement of the two cars ahead. Okay. Everything MUST be fresh and made to order or they are short staffed. We had time today, so no biggie. After about 10 mins, the first car moves. The driver in front of us looks annoyed - but hey I don't know HOW long they have been here either. After what seemed like the LONGEST 5 mins in history - it was our turn. Ready and prepared - we are greeted with the nastiness attitude. It was so off putting. Like wow. So, they direct me to order. I start my order, the lady interrupts me and states HOLD ON. Um...okay. I wait, she says order please. I start to order and again RUDELY interrupted again. At this point, my guest is taken a back. I should have left then but again we wanted to try the food and I do understand people having off days. When I finally was able to place my order, she told me they were out of what we wanted. Now, at this point I wanted to kick and scream like a toddler! Are you serious?! You put us through ALL this attitude to NOT have what we wanted?!? Instead, I simply said - okay. And we left. As we were leaving, I saw the car in front of us back-up and leave without his food (I assume he felt the same way - I'll take my business elsewhere). As much as I would like to give it another chance, I won't. I debated about writing this review - but I needed a reminder in the future of WHY I never ate here. As well, to let others know - you might be served with nothing but attitude so be prepared

Rhonda C.

Yelp
I went to go get lunch... and decided to get a catfish sandwich. Lord have mercy!!! That was the best hot fish sandwich I have ever had!!! I love the sandwich!! Fried just right. Thank you!!

Reggie T.

Yelp
I highly recommend you skip over this place. My food was cold and they had no customers at that time. The lady taking my order was eating while taking my order. Service and food weren't good , so it's no reason you should want to visit this place. This was the jimmy's on hwy 55

Joe E.

Yelp
If you're going to change me almost $3.00 to use my debit card, at least warn me first. I would have paid cash. But, then again, I couldn't hardly understand the extremely rude young man you had taking orders. And to top it off, my hotdogs, hamburgers and fries were all cold. One star is one too many.

Dena R.

Yelp
I was craving a football stand hot dog with a lot of mustard and ketchup. Slow service and horribly disappointed by the over cooked hotdog on a stale bun, plain with ketchup packets in the bag. Don't waste your time or money.

Victor S.

Yelp
All beef Nathans hot dogs, cooked perfectly. Just the right amount of mustard, onions crispy and fresh, chili a bit grainy (maybe a touch overcooked(?)) but still tasty - not too heavy, spicy or sweet. Service was excellent. All of the employees seemed happy to be there and genuinely interested in getting me exactly what I wanted. I have now been here numerous times and I will continue to eat here when I am in the area.

Nicholas N.

Yelp
Disgusting, food has no flavor. Chicks behind the counter w/shitty attitudes way too busy on TikTok to work. I'll keep it simple, keep driving it ain't worth it.

Kimberly-Gretchen B.

Yelp
As luck would have it, two weeks ago my lodging in Durham was a stone's throw from Jimmy's. I got lunch to go on Tuesday, October 29: Bologna Burger + Grilled Onions, $2.69 Bacon Cheese French Fries, also $2.69 Back at the hotel, I went for the BCFF first. Good, worth repeating. Next was the BB. Awesome! A nice thick slab of Bologna, LTM, Grilled Onions, and a big bun. Super, super good! A must repeat when I return to Durham next year.

Natika G.

Yelp
My go to for lunch! Jimmys is consistent and I like that! I usually order the fried cat fish meal and it comes with a lot of good food! Four pieces of fish, French fries and coleslaw. My food is always fresh and hot! Just they way I like it. The food takes a while to be cooked but that's okay! You can go inside or order through the drive through! Service is amazing and there is plenty of parking.

Terri N.

Yelp
Love my wings and fried fish from this location. The turkey hotdog is good too which can't be found everywhere

Britt W.

Yelp
good dogs, good chili, always hot fries, maybe the best dogs in durham, reasonable drive through experience

Joshua M.

Yelp
This is the last great Carolina style all the way fast food joint around. Reasonable prices and delicious food. It's completely underrated.

Rebecca P.

Yelp
Had the Beef BBQ sandwich. It was ok. The bread was warm but very soft. The beef was chopped with bbq sauce I think. I would have like to have more bbq sauce mixed in it to moisten it more. They charge extra for more bbq sauce so I passed. I requested the coleslaw be on the side so I can just focus on the beef itself. The slaw was fine, maybe a tad sweet for me but still way better than food lion stuff. I still like kfc slaw.

Kong L.

Yelp
Jimmy's Famous Hot Dogs was not for me. I've been meaning to stop here for a while now. I picked up the #1 -- which came with 2 hotdogs (all the way), fries and a sweet tea. The hotdogs weren't all that special, the fries were undercooked and tasted freezer burnt, and the sweet tea had an after taste. Honestly, 1-star for the good customer service.

Carolyn Z.

Yelp
Slow drive through. Had a homeless person knock on my car window and ask for money while waiting for food. Felt unsafe and would have just left but had already paid for food. While waiting for food I observed 2 employees eating and drinking while serving inside customers (and me). No handwashing in between. Undercooked fries, grease dripping off burger.

Daniel S.

Yelp
Hotdogs were tasty, bacon cheeseburger was good, and the fries were ok. I got two pork hotdogs all the way. The chili is not homemade, unfortunately, but the hotdogs were on par with Snoopys or Chargrill in my opinion. The burger, also ATW (mustard, onion, chili, slaw) was good but I prefer the same burger from Cookout. The fries are krinkle cut and were not as crispy as I'd prefer. More so like warm and flimsy. I ate indoors and the restaurant appeared tidy but could use a deep cleaning. I would revisit...potentially.

Jason L.

Yelp
First time here. Jimmy dog was amazing. Carolina style burger was pretty middling, but it's a hot dog place, after all. But the thing that will bring me back over and over is the service. I would've forgotten multiple things if it weren't for the suggestions of Kamare (?) at the window. Very professional, very friendly, definitely made my visit worthwhile. I'll be visiting again soon, if only to try more hot dogs.

William - Bill Lewis L.

Yelp
You can't say much for the decor, except it's an old Waffle House. Despite the diner type feel of my visit, the food actually wasn't that bad. Visiting Durham, North Carolina, to see an old friend, I stopped in about ten minutes before closing time. Ordering the Jimmy's Famous Hot Dog Combo, I would eat back at my hotel while catching up on e-mail, etc. 2 hot dogs "All the Way," french fries and a drink. A quick order - I had driven ten hours from South Florida and wasn't really paying attention to the menu. I didn't realize until later that they were turkey rather than beef. With that said, the dogs weren't bad. I met Billy - apparently one of the owners. Nice enough guy and we spoke for a few minutes while waiting on my order. When returning to my hotel a few moments later, I found that my combo order had 3 hot dogs rather than 2. Not a bad fast food experience. All the way hot dogs weren't bad and no complaint about the french fries either. Take out bag had napkins and other condiments. Soft drink was a pour your own after being handed a cup. Convenient location to major highways and plenty of hotels. I would visit again if ever returning to the area. Bill Lewis Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Yelp
I came in today for a catfish combo. I was charged .50 extra for a glass bottle of Dr. Pepper, because this location didn't have it on tap. The server spilled some of the soda & had to replace it. Cool. I came home & realized there was no cole slaw included; the reason I purchased the combo. Cool. I called to rectify the situation. I live 12 miles away, and it wasn't feasible to return that night. I called Jimmy's & was greeted by James. After explaining the situation, James told me the server probably left it out and gave me extra fries to compensate (?!) I told him I couldn't return that night. James told me I could come the next day, to pick up a side of cole slaw. Two things--James, I don't want a side of cole slaw tomorrow. I wanted it tonight, with the combo I paid extra for. Second, were you there when I ordered? I don't have any extra fries. Stop covering for your coworker. I told him I'd be in the next day for a reimbursement of the missing cole slaw, or an item of equal value. James said no. James also said I could talk to the owner tomorrow. Bet James. Bet.

Volitta R.

Yelp
I love Jimmy's food but the chick(black girl) at the window tonight was horrible. It's not just tonight either. We went last week for lemonades and she was just as horrible. The daytime staff is amazing but at night...terrible.

Cheryl N.

Yelp
My son and I split the super combo with hotdog all the way and a burger. I was wanting a hotdog and this was not it! Hamburger was your typical chewy frozen patty and the hot dog was some kind of chewy texture. I love a good slaw, the slaw is what really killed it. I only ate half. I don't know what the draw is to this place. Someone mentioned Chargrill and Snoopy's in a previous review. I'm so mad I forgot Chargrill was nearby. That would have been perfect to satisfy my craving. Next time. The staff are amazing, though. That's why it's not a one for me.

Nicole M.

Yelp
Finally tried this place last night. I have to be honest. Slightly underwhelming. The food tasted good, but nothing that really had me wanting to come back. That makes it automatically 3 stars. My overall experience didn't help. The Menu didn't match the website so when we arrived to order I had to change my whole idea of what to order. There wasn't a combo that only included 1 hot dog, which was very odd, but I guess based on the size of the hot dogs, 2 was needed. But I still would have liked the option. My boyfriend ordered a combo which included a sprite and the drive thru forgot to give it to us. I also ordered some cheese sauce on the side and they forgot that as well. That was very disappointing. I ordered a hot dog "all the way" and it just okay. However, the crinkle cut fries were really good and I actually really enjoyed the cookies and cream milkshake. Not sure if I will try this place again. But it definitely could be a place to go to if I really can't think of anywhere else to eat.

Joel K.

Yelp
This was my first time going and the staff was great the food even better I had the burger and hotdog combo with sweet tea and I added a red velvet cake that was amazing.. The cake tasted home made that was rich and filling... The hot was nice and cheesy and the burger was fresh off the grill and the fries where fresh hot out the grease and I added seasoning to it that set everything just perfectly.. I will definitely be returning to try their catfish dinner platter.

Cody V.

Yelp
Chili on the hot dogs amazing Onion rings amazing Burgers amazing Mac and cheese was pretty good Cole slaw top notch Service was the best part it was our first time and everyone there treated us very nice and even brought our food to our table a nice change from other fast food places . Will be here a lot in the future .

Mark V.

Yelp
As advertised, this is a hot dog joint that serves burgers and fish, too. Ordered the number 1 combo- two dogs all the wY, fries and a drink. Great value for $6.95. All the way means chili, slaw, mustard and onions. Eat the dogs quick, because the get soggy and fall apart and you lose your toppings! The actual dogs were small and boiled, no snap to them that would have been nice with all the toppings. Slaw was wet and sweet, chili was typical ground meat with no real taste- would have been nice with a little spice to offset the sweet. Good crinkle cut fries. Good staff, fast service, clean and good value. Maybe come back to try the fish fry or hamburgers, but done with the dogs.

Luke S.

Yelp
I really wish I could give it more stars but I can't. First off, the food is outstanding. This is the best hot dog I've had in a while. Unfortunately the service is super slow. Drive thru was taking about 10 minutes per car. The speaker is super quiet too so if you have any hearing issues just save yourself the trouble and order inside. If it hadn't been for the food and the politeness of the staff I wouldn't have hesitated to give 1 star. I'm not sure if there's any way to fix the wait times but if there is I'd really look into that y'all. The wait times will absolutely turn people away from what is otherwise good food.

Tina R.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed and horrified after going through their drive through today. None of the 3 employees working were properly wearing masks. All were around their chins with nose and mouth exposed. No gloves were worn and they were even eating cherries and pulling out the pits with their hands. All while waiting on me. One even scratched her nose. I know I must have been staring ridiculously at them. One appeared to be the manager on duty and I regret not calling them out. I think I was just in shock. You might think twice before visiting this restaurant.

Scott S.

Yelp
This place just opened in the former location that was Waffle House. It is right off I-40 and is easy on and easy off for access. They have repaved the parking lot and remodeled the dining room inside. We arrived at lunch and the line was nearly out the door. A good sign I thought. The menu has hot dogs, burgers, wings, catfish and shakes. They feature homemade cake in a cooler near the order counter. The order process is standard fare. You order, you are given a number and you then go find a seat. The dining area is fairly small so be prepared to be neighborly when it is busy. I ordered a #2 cheeseburger combo with a shake upgrade instead of tea or soft drink. Coke products are the anchor beverage. The experience reminds me of Freddy's or Steak -n- Shake with fewer menu choices here. The color schemes are identical in all three - Red and white throughout. My meal was pretty good. Not bad - not awesome. It's not the kind of place that I would die if I didn't get to go to but, I would stop in when the occasion arises. I did like the shake and the food was served hot. The side of onion rings where crisp and tasty. They did not fall apart when bit into which I really appreciate. Since they are new, they seem a little disorganized still and it will be great to go back and try them again when the machine is a little more well-oiled.

Chris K.

Yelp
I visited on the last day they were offering the dollar hot dogs for hot dog day. The place was hopping, but they did an amazing job keeping the line inside moving quickly and the food came up just as fast. On my last visit I had a burger, which was good. This time I wanted to try a hot dog and hoped it would be better than what I tasted at their Guess Road location that I stopped going to after a few visits. Unfortunately it was no improvement. They either keep the dogs in warm water or a steamer and then put them on the grill. Either way what it ends up being is crispy on the outside from the grill and mushy on the inside from sitting in water or a steamer. I haven't had a dog this bad since stopping at a Stuckey's back in college. While the employees kept their cool with the constant flow of people, the AC did not. It was hot and stuffy inside! It didn't help that the heat index outside was 105 and with low ceilings there's no room for fans to keep the air moving. To add to it, there was no ice in the soda machine. When I went to the counter to ask that the ice be refilled, I was told by the guy handling the take out window he'd get to it as soon as he could. A half hour later when I was about to leave they still hadn't filled it. There were at least ten people working behind the counter between taking orders, cooking the food, and calling out the orders when the food came up. That was all running smoothly, but how long would it take to step away for about two minutes to get some ice in the soda machine? It didn't keep them from selling drinks to the customers though. I wish you could see the patrons surprise to find they couldn't get ice for their cups. This was inexcusable on such a hot day! Between the mushy hot dogs and no ice or effort to refill it, I'm done with this place. How did they go from running Spartacus all those years to such a poorly managed hot dog joint?

Karimah B.

Yelp
After visiting twice I've realized that the drive-thru is super slow. Especially when you happen to get caught behind people who add/change things on their order at the window and hold everyone else up. However, the food is cooked FRESH to order, doesn't sit under heat lamps AT ANY TIME, and will actually burn you if you try to eat it as soon as it is handed to you. That's good cooking, yum. I got the #6 - 3 Wing/3 Drum and #2 - Cheeseburger. The #6 was for someone else, thankfully because it's 3 wings and 3 drums were BURNT. Not just overcooked, but burnt. And they were fried in the oil that was used for fish. I was always taught to keep those separate, so your chicken doesn't taste like fish. Truly disappointing I was glad that my Cheeseburger was fine. The chili on it was more like ground meat with seasoning that fell apart (more like a "Joe" without the "Sloppy". It was still tasty though. I would say avoid the chicken unless you're eating in and can send it back. Otherwise the fish (which I had last visit) and burgers are good for a quick fill up.

Jeff G.

Yelp
I was very happy to find out they serve catfish. Went to Jimmy's for a couple hot dogs and saw the catfish on the menu. Nice light breading and cooked just right. The tarter sauce was good and went well. Onion rings were a complete turn off though. Typical frozen rings that were then fries to long so they were hard and greasy. I did have a hotdog as well served "all the way" that was good but not great! 8/10 will go again.

Yelp
Stopped in town to visit the sister and her new baby. On the way from the airport we stopped by Jimmy's. Couple of dogs (jimmys famous and one ketchup only) a plain burger, some fries and some onion rings. All in all it was what we expected. Executed well, the staff was helpful explaining what they are known for and we were in and out pretty quickly. Excited to try some other sides, a milkshake and some other menu pairings sometime soon.

Yelp
I don't like hot dogs. Why, you may ask, would I come here and then write a review? Excellent question. Apparently I succumb easily to peer pressure. Arrived with a group of work friends who swore these hot dogs were better. Better than what, I'm still not sure. They weren't. Objectively, they are hot dogs, like any other hot dog. It's not this place's fault; they can't work miracles and transform an inherently unpalatable food item into something tasty. If you like hot dogs, well, you'll probably like this place. If you don't well, you get the idea. The fries were fine, not my style though. I got a milkshake that was average. All in all it's not a bad place - it's exactly what you would expect. People with more sense than me would have at least ordered something else. But hey, I tried.

Yelp
Good Food / Bad Drive Thru Customer Service. The Drive Thru attendant was short and curt, and seemed annoyed in having to take my order. I heard her complaining to another employee that she was going to have make more tea. I did not want to be "a bother or burden," so I tried get her attention to cancel the tea. She did not appreciate the fact that I was trying to make my transaction easier for her. And was expressionless and rude. She never once said thank, or have a nice day. This is a prime example of someone who should not work in customer service. Even though the food was good I will not be returning.

Yelp
After long day I stopped in for quick burger. Good burger. Not as juicy as I've had before. But I was able to get all the toppings I wanted added, so I enjoyed it. Unlimited drink refills. Clean. Employees Sincere (l) and Kelvin (r) provided excellent customer service.

Yelp
These were probably the worst hotdogs I've ever eaten. I don't think they could get a lower grade hotdog to start with but then on top of that they are just sitting in bulk in a tub of hot water. They get "grilled" to order, which just means they seared it on two sides before topping and serving. The fries are just a frozen crinkle cut fry with no seasoning whatsoever. Will not be back and would recommend anyone thinking about visiting to continue a mile down Rt.55 and go to Cookout.
