"There’s a little sleuthing involved in spotting this subterranean New American nook with its lovely patio. The extra effort is worth it just to savor dinners that start with grilled oysters with zinging jalapeno-lemon butter. Vegetarians, check out the tofu “wings” with hot sauce and blue cheese, plus the gluten-free tofu Napoleon — layers of tofu and vegetables topped with roasted tomato and basil pesto —that might win over the carnivores. Depending on your mood, pick plates off the comfort menu, offering spins on fish and chips and southern fried chicken with whipped potatoes. Or lean more luxe with the entrees, including the spicy Portuguese fisherman’s stew with piri piri sauce, and the scallop piccata, which is served with a potato pancake to soak up that white wine sauce." - Nathan Tavares

I asked for Gluten Free pasta, they didn’t have, so together with my partner we decided to order the way it was. Huge mistake.. had zero taste, not even salt! The most tasteless food i ever had. Server offended to take the plate back to the kitchen but we were to hungry and we kept adding salt hopping to change it a little bit. This place should stay “hideaway”

Make sure to get reservations in advance, otherwise you won’t get a seat. The service was very good and their attention to detail was outstanding, other than not getting asked for a second drink at dinner. Lobster pasta was pretty good, but the cod was pretty flavorless. The wedge salad was really good and the desserts were outstanding, especially the key lime pie.

Being a vegetarian with limited option at this place, didn’t disappoint me as whatever we ordered was perfectly fine and tasty. Our server was very kind and helpful with items we ordered. We got watermelon caprese as an appetizer and main course we had tofu napoleon and scallops piccata for my boyfriend. We both loved this place. Love their wines and cocktails. I would recommend this place with reservations else you might not get it during weekends.

Fantastic. Halloween weekend so very crowded. We managed to have a table for 2.... Debbie our waitress was super kind and attentive 👍 Lobster pasta was huge and really yummy.

Cozy hot spot for great drinks and food. Service is quick and friendly, very helpful without being hovering. Generous drinks and pours. Simple but thorough menu. Food arrives quickly and is perfectly prepared and presented.

True to its name, this cute, homey restaurant is tucked away even in the midst of the bustling Commercial St. The steps down leading to a small reception area only add to its exclusivity. Despite all of that, it’s well attended by locals and people in the know. During peak season, it’s almost impossible to get a table without a reservation. At its worst, you’ll need reservations weeks in advance for a weekend dinner. You can try your luck with bar seating but even that is limited when they’re at peak times. On to the food. You can never go wrong with their oysters which they get from their neighboring town of Wellfleet. The spring roll appetizer is also surprisingly delicious. It doesn’t quite match their menus’ palate but, nevertheless, it’s tasty. Their Fisherman Stew is packed with tons of seafood flavor - make sure to ask for extra bread to sop up that sauce! The Scallop Piccata is perfectly cooked with a nice sear on the surface and a creamy, velvety texture on the inside - my only complaint is that there’s not more! Lastly, my go to is the chunky piece of Grilled Filet Mignon which is always perfectly cooked. It comes with a very rich au poivre sauce generously drizzled over the meat and the creamy mashed potatoes. They have an extensive list of wine and make some excellent cocktails (their dirty martini comes with blue cheese olives and don’t sleep on their espresso martini). (PS. Lastly, I almost don’t want to disclose this but on Sundays, they offer $1 oysters. Now, I’m not a fan of raw oysters but their $1 oysters are grilled and swimming in a delicious buttery, spicy sauce that compliments the salty, briny freshness of the oysters.)

Jimmy's Hideaway had been a favorite of ours. We make a point of having dinner there each time we visit Provincetown. Food is always good, servers are attentive and fun.

Yelp
Jimmy's HideAway in an incredible place. The staff is outstanding and the food is 5 stars. Ambiance, is so quite. We have been going to this restaurant for many, many years and it is hands down our favorite. Worthy of making reservations for all of our important times...birthdays, anniversary, vacation, etc. Every visit and meal is 5 stars every visit. Dwight the chef makes a fillet that can be cut with a butter knife. We are in awe of this every time. I like mine medium rare and my husband medium well. Any other place will serve my husband a thinner cut so that they come out are the same time. Not with this chef, we have the same fillet and he has never over or under cooked it. Perfect every time. If you want to be treated as family and eat unbelievable meals, make your reservations soon. Thanks, Sue and Randy

Yelp
Came here on a recommendation from a Ptown regular and think I just found my new favorite dinner spot in town. The outdoor seating is beautiful and the perfect back drop for a nice dinner. Really loved the seafood stew and would highly recommend. The martinis are HUGE and very strong, perfect to keep your night going. Loved everything about it and will definitely be back.

Yelp
We loved our Mother's Day dinner at Jimmy's. I got grilled Wellfleet oysters and scallops picatta -- everything was great. Service was top tier too!

Yelp
One of the better meals we've had in Provincetown. Tucked away from the bustle of Commercial street, the outdoor patio offers views of the water and a relaxed atmosphere. The indoor dining room looked very casual, but was dark. We were a party of 5, and kudos to Cheryl for helping us change our reservation as the weather shifted. We booked outside, but saw the forecast for rain, and called the day before to see if we could be moved inside. Happily made the change. Upon arrival, and with no rain in sight, we asked about the possibility of moving outside. Again, very accommodating on a busy Saturday night and I was grateful for putting up with my requests! We had a very good waiter and service was a delight. We enjoyed our cocktails and overall the food was very good. Of the appetizers, the braised short rib sliders were the biggest hit. I'm a sucker for a wedge salad, and while the version here is good, there was nothing exceptional about it, and I don't know that I would order it again. The salad was the weakest dish we had. Our friend had one of the specials, a baked stuffed shrimp dish that sounded so 1970's, but was delicious! Buttery and perfectly cooked shrimp were a delight. I also tried a special, the Lobster Carbonara which was an interesting take on the classic Italian pasta dish. Very tasty and with a nice portion of lobster. While Jimmy's is a bit hidden, I think it would be worth your while to seek them out if in Provincetown

Yelp
Have been coming here for years. A frequent visitor to Provincetown since the 80's. For many of those years, Jimmy's has been a favorite. I met the delightful new owners last year and had the pleasure of what a great job they had done taking over. Tonight was no exception in May ways. Great service, great food! But I give 3 stars because, as a repeat customer for many years, I was extremely disappointed with how the evening ended. We have had made reservations for the day after tomorrow and were looking forward to sharing this gem with new friends. I requested "if possible" to have the same server (Jody, who is extraordinary). The hostess didn't exist. I was told by one of the folks at the front door that they don't really take such requests, but assured me that all of the servers are exceptional. Well, I know one who is not! We are canceling our reservation and will think long and hard as to if we will ever return.

Yelp
They got us in without a reservation, which was lucky since they filled up quick. We ordered short rib sliders and ceasar salad as appetizers, and they both were excellent. For dinner, I got fisherman's stew, my son got scallops picatta, and my husband got lobster carbonara. Everything was hot, fresh, and very well seasoned. Our server was super attentive and kept bringing out bread for my stew without me even asking. We've been to a lot of restaurants in the past week, and I have to say this was at the top. If you are ever in Provincetown, definitely make a stop at this place.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this experience. We made reservations, got seated right away. Best seat in the house at a corner table by the window looking out into the water. Cozy! Drinks were on point. We had the short rib sliders to start. Drool worthy. No fat, just tender and flavorful. Then we had the scallops piccata which was served over a potato pancake with asparagus. The sauce was a perfect texture and nice and lemony. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and tasted so good with the lemon sauce. The scallops (5 of them) were good sized and so well done. Super flavorful. The big surprise was the delicate and absolutely delicious potato pancake. I'm still thinking about it. We finished with a light lemon cake that was just the right ending for an outstanding dinner. I was so entranced by the cozy view I completely forgot to take food pictures. Best meal I've had in a while. 100% recommend.

Yelp
Amazing ambience and service, great drinks, delicious food. Lovely view of bay from patio seating.

Yelp
On a recent visit, we stopped over to check out availability and were luckily able to grab a cancellation for two seats at the bar! (Ok we also knew we have our own reservations later that week too ). As ever the place was hopping but never frantic. The team just fits like your favorite jeans. Comfortable, sharp and always with impact coming or going. We opted to enjoy several smaller plates and split one entree which was the perfect plan. With the always good classic wedge salad, we added a starter special; Pork Spring Roles with dipping sauces and a bowl thick and rich clam chowder. Then we split the crisp yet lightly battered fish & chips entree with house slaw. We left happy and satisfied. Last minute opening do happen but its well worth planning ahead and make a reservation

Yelp
When we arrived at Jimmy's we were greeted warmly and promptly taken to the table we had reserved.  While their outdoor seating area was quite attractive, given the cold weather we were glad we had opted for indoor seating. Tip: Jimmy's venue is situated in the basement of a building on Commercial Street.  It's got three different sections - one with a bar and seating for less than a dozen people, another with a real wood burning fireplace, and a third section (where we were seated) with seating for maybe 15 people, and windows on three sides. The venue is very chill and laid back, with an overall vibe much like that of an old-time speakeasy. We started off our meal by ordering pomegranate and lemon martinis; these were nicely presented and very tasty.  Next, we shared an order of grilled Wellfleet Oysters.  These were served with Jalapeno butter; they were fresh and very, very good.  For our entrees we got both the Portuguese cod and the scallop picatta dishes and shared them.  The scallop dish was AOK, but the cod was truly outstanding - it was made wth rice, Linguica & Kale, and had a deliciously intriguing flavor profile. Service was excellent, and the prices were a bit on the high side, but totally acceptable given the quality of the food and the service.

Yelp
Nothing but great things to say about Jimmy and his hideaway! He personally served us and made our anniversary very nice. The food was delicious and well prepared, the drinks were great, and the space was cozy and romantic. Will be back!

Yelp
Had dinner with friends, seated promptly but under a speaker and the music was too loud. Asked server if the volume could be reduced. She tried but it really remained intrusive. The server offered to move us to a table further away. Nice gesture. It continues to disappoint me when there is no red wine under $54 on a wine list. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer. I have had much better. Entrees were: Shrimp Florentine, Seafood Stew, Stuffed Shrimp[, and Steamed Littlenecks. All were good except the Florentine. Could not find/taste the garlic, shallots or capers that should have been there. Dish was bland and shrimp a bit overcooked. Service was excellent. On our way out I suggested to the hostess that they correct their website which said they were closed Tuesday and Wednesday as they are open on Tuesday. She said it does not say that. I told her I checked it this morning, She said she did too and that I was wrong. Under "HOURS" it still says closed Tuesday and Wednesday. I also suggested that the music could be more fitting for a "Hideaway", something like smooth jazz. Her reply: "we have always played that music". My answer was "that doesn't mean it is the right music". She said "it's our restaurant and we will play what we want.". My response " Well I'm the customer and I will choose where I dine. This was my fifth visit and my last". Attitude is everything. Read less

Yelp
I had booked a dinner for 7 people at 7pm on Friday during LD holiday. We were seated right away in the front section of the restaurant. Our waiter was prompt, professional, and on top of everything. Everything came seamlessly and perfectly. Our drinks were great and the food delicious. We all left happy and satisfied. This place is always on our Ptown restaurant rotation and it never disappoints!

Rob L.

Yelp
Do yourself a huge favor. GET IN HERE. The food was amazing. I had the scallop piccata and....as a not huge seafood person....absolutely. Loved. This. Dish. Friends has the fisherman's stew and stuffed scallops and felt the same way. Jody's service was impeccable. She knows when to pop in for refills when to take orders without feeling rushed etc. Amazing professional in the field of hospitality. Abby helped clear the tables and was always pleasant too. GET IN HERE.

Crystal K.

Yelp
The food was delicious, especially the filet. The potatoes were creamy, asparagus perfectly charred, salmon had the perfect crust. Our server was very friendly. The baked shrimp were good but I don't know that I'd get them again.

Greg P.

Yelp
Jimmy's was recommended by several people who've been to Provincetown. We showed up just before they opened and was able to get a table right at 5pm. Otherwise I would recommend getting a reservation ahead of time as it's not a large restaurant. We were seated quickly and Debbie was our waitress. We started with son appetizers. Crab cakes were good but a little overdone. You can see by the picture they were a bit overdone looking. Not a great picture but it was accurate. Drinks were good. Especially the espresso martini. The clam dish was amazing and very tasty. The scallops picatta was recommended but again they over cooked the scallops and some sort of potato cake that was underneath. Terribly disappointing as scallops can go from perfectly cooked to over cooked quickly. Tough and a bit dry. Not juicy as they should be. I would say to ask that they are not overdone for sure. The Wellfleet Oysters with Jalapeño butter was amazing! As well as the clam chowder. The ambience was very nice with the view of the bay. The garden outside needs some attention and would help make the view of the patio more appealing. Most wouldn't notice the overgrown weeds but this is a review.

Rodney M.

Yelp
You could miss it if you were not looking for it, but Jimmy's is just that...a lovely little hideAway off Commercial Street. They offer inside/outside seating and reservations are highly recommended, especially if you want to sit outside. We were last minute, so inside was our option and it was just fine. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs, despite running back and forth from the kitchen to the outside. They were always pleasant to us and checked in with us often. The menu was just what we needed and combined with the atmosphere of the 'local bar' provided us a great meal and experience.

Robert A.

Yelp
Have always had the perfect evening at Jimmy's, that is until now. It seems they're trying to stretch a dollar as the portion size and quality has shifted. Started with Oysters and Fried Calamari. Oysters were great but the miniscule portion of Calamari was somewhat shocking. Followed by one of our favorites Scallops Piccata and what came out was clearly a lack of quality control. One of us had decent size Scallops while the other had tiny little scallops. One of the scallops actually had 1/3 of the scallop missing... chopped off completely. Potato pancake was terrific, but the green beans were very few. Will never order this again. Even the couple to our right who ordered the Filet Mignon was shocking. When it arrived, it looked more like a Petit Filet. Maybe 6 ounces, if that. There was practically nothing on the plate. I'm sure we'll be back for nostalgia's sake but maybe next time we'll just order a burger or fish & chips. Sad to say for the first time in many years it was a waste of money.

Kz K.

Yelp
Great service and good food. Absolutely recommend the fisherman's stew. It was delish.

Surge C.

Yelp
The worst food and service I had in Provincetown. Not only was the server inattentive and had an attitude when we needed more time to order. I had hoped to have an enjoyable meal by ordering the fish and chips, but it was absolutely disgusting. The fries were soggy with oil and tasted burned. You could tell they had been reusing the same oil for a while. The cod was bland and poorly fried- leaving no crunch. The only reason I gave an extra star is because my friend enjoyed her clam chowder. There are way better places to dine at in P-Town than Jimmy's.

Meredith C.

Yelp
Dinner inside is a quaint intimate experience. The service was very good. We ordered the scallop piccata and Portuguese cod along with a black fig martini and dirty martini. The food is exceptional and worthy of a 4.5 to 5.0 rating. The drinks could have been shaken longer and served colder. Additionally, both cocktails come with blue cheese stuffed olives that weren't hand stuffed (inferior jarred variety) and only were garnished with one per cocktail.

Q Q.

Yelp
I was quite disappointed with the food here. We started with the lump crab and corn cake, which was mediocre. I got the scallops for my main dish: the $42 scallops were over-cooked. My favorite thing on my plate was the potato pancake that the scallops were served on. My husband ordered the clam linguine: clams were over-cooked and mostly flavorless, but the linguine with béchamel were good. This is a nice place to enjoy a drink, especially if you can snag a table in the patio on a sunny day, but the food (particularly at this price point) is a pass. The food all came out very quickly, I wonder if it was prepared in advance instead of made to order.

Lina C.

Yelp
Patio has a deck on the water and space heaters on when if you're frigid. Great view with delicious seafood. I had the lobster carbonara and there was so much fresh, delicious meaty lobster bits! Highly recommend if visiting Provincetown. :) interesting concept given these restaurants are built into old homes on the water. The surrounding restaurants also have a view of the water if Jimmys isn't your taste!

Josh S.

Yelp
Jimmy's Hideaway: Where good taste goes to hide! Very sad... new owners and quality of food is horrible. Went here a few years ago and it was great. I just went here again last night and the food was so bad. It was old soggy food. Everything was stale... even the bread! Oh, and the amount of seafood in the food was pitiful, just highway robbery. Most of it was filler. It is very sad since it was such a good restaurant. Now it is just a tourist trap.

Meg A.

Yelp
If you want a dark, intimate, shoulder-to-shoulder dining experience with attentive service, well-priced cocktails, and deliciously prepared seafood, you've found your place. Grilled Wellfleet oysters, in season, are not to be missed. Other highlights include the Scallops Piccata and their Portuguese Fishermen's Stew.

Joel S.

Yelp
Appatizers / clams and spring rolls were fine. athe scallops were delicious and tasty. ahowever the ahrimp dish. was a bit bland. Service was fine as waa the outside seating. all in all a njce visit.

Sarah B.

Yelp
My favorite spot on the Cape, hands down. Great service, drinks and exceptional food. We come back year after year!

Jim K.

Yelp
Awesome dinner in Provincetown at Jimmy's hideaway. The setting on the patio was amazing and the food was even better! We started with an excellent Beet Salad and Short Rib Sliders. The Stuffed Shrimp was excellent. Three of us each had the Scallops with the potato cake and green beans - Amazing! The view is awesome, the food is delicious, and the service is great. Make a reservation otherwise you will be waiting a good while for a table.

Joseph T.

Yelp
We return to Jimmy's Hideaway during every trip to P-Town. This time we brought our siblings and we all enjoyed dinner immensely. Veteran server Debbie was excellent and added to the fun of our evening.

D E.

Yelp
This was hands down our best experience of our trip so far. We were seated in the back section on a high table with a view of their Zen garden. Cocktails were respectably strong and well made. Our server, Deirdre, is fun and efficient. Service and Ambience: weight: 3, 5/5 We had the Crab Cakes, Wedge Salad, Clam Linguini, and Fish and Chips. Everything was delicious! Comparing our Wedge Salad with another place, this one was legit, with Bleu Cheese, bacon and all that. Also, in comparison, the Cole Slaw was not vinegary (+) and even slightly sweet with yellow raisins. Food: weight: 1, 5/5 This was our "high class" meal for PTown so price was not a factor, but I didn't feel that anything was a rip-off. Value: weight: 1, 5/5

Joseph P.

Yelp
Has the Scallops Piccata - 5 big ,juicy scallops over a potato pancake with delicious string beans. Pancake was a little overcooked.

jane D.

Yelp
We had our first annual visit back to Jimmy's Hideaway this year and it was wonderful as usual. We were a bit concerned as the business changed hands this year. Everything was left unchanged which was very smart - why mess w perfection. We will miss that handsome Jimmy & Rafe though! We had a great server - Diedre. A real pro and a local which made it extra special

Gerard M.

Yelp
Unfortunately I have been enjoying dinner there year for the past 20 years , with the exception of this evening! I was enjoying dinner in the back terrace!and had a business call that I had taken to the front of the restaurant. When I had finished. I had processed to go back to my table via the down stair front door way ! The hostess @ that point exclaimed! What do u want! I replied I would like to use the rest room and go back to my table? I thought her remark was very abrupt, and had disturbed me . So before I let I had went address the situation!because I am a recurring guest every year . During our short reconciliation! a very rude waitress interrupted our conversation and told me to leave !!! I was shocked and appalled by her interaction! She was neither management nor the owner!! The Hostess then when I was accompanied with my brother-in-law had apologized! Which I had excepted! But not nasty servers that had no business putting her self into the situation! There are so many great places to eat in Province town . unfortunately Jimmy's is now off my list ! I was extremely disappointed and appalled by my treatment! and I own 2 businesses and Have a lot of clients that frequent this restaurant and town ! I never post anything on Yelp this my first ! But rest assured I will be very loud about this place and it's nasty experience with one of there servers!

Bill M.

Yelp
Best service 10 out of 10 Value for $ - 10 out of 10 Food Quality - 10 out of 10 Staff - friendly/ inviting - 10 out of 10 Great place! Great food! Go!

Kassie H.

Yelp
This place is simply one of the most understated dining experiences in Provincetown, Massachusetts which recently changed ownership but remains equally tasty. I highly suggest making reservations via RESY as walk-in seating can be challenging. The ambiance is great as the bar, dining area and patio each portray a different mood. The staff are all friendly and quite familiar with the menu as well as what libations are artfully constructed at the bar. All the food is fresh and plentiful but save room for dessert as the bread pudding is amazing!!!!

David K.

Yelp
Great dinner spot on commercial st. Walked in and was offered a spot on a picnic table right on the water with a great view. Staff was nice for the most part. I did the southern fried chicken and it was delicious! Very crispy chicken with a flavorful gravy. Will return next time I'm in the area!

Michael P.

Yelp
Very good food and a very good staff. Tight little restaurant that has a small patio and beachside seating for the good weather nights.

Ryan M.

Yelp
Best restaurant in PTown!! Great food and service, make a point to go there each time I'm in town.

Dory S.

Yelp
Our server Jodi was DIVINE. The martini was HUGE and delicious. The patio was charming. But the fisherman's stew sadly missed the mark. The clams were sandy and the tomato gravy was disappointingly bland. Absolutely no flavor. This should be a rich, spicy dish chock full of seafaring flavors. Not a thin and completely tasteless bowl of sandy clams and undercooked fish and shrimp.

Judson W.

Yelp
Jimmy's Hideaway is one of a few restaurants that personify Provincetown. The staff, food, and ambiance sum up to me on every visit why I love this town. The wait/bar staff clearly have a storied history with the town & restaurant, the food is memorable enough to demand repeat visits, and the atmosphere is the coziest to be found in Ptown. True to its name, the restaurant seems to be hidden beneath busy Commercial Street (under the beautiful mural staircase), and from the dining room window you can even catch a glimpse of the sandy beach above. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Jimmy's expanded their dining options to a gorgeous backyard patio by the ocean. I really hope this change is permanent, as it lends yet another bit of charm to the restaurant. That said, eating in the unique dining room or bar area will likely meet your charm standard. I've indulged in many menu items, but the one I keep going back for is the Salmon Wellington. Such a savory treat may cause splitsy conflict with your dining companion. Overall, I can't recommend Jimmy's enough to anyone visiting Provincetown. Just make sure you make a rezzie ahead of time - this place is always (understandably) in demand.

Jody W.

Yelp
Finally made it to Jimmy's hideaway during my last visit to Provincetown. Sadly, this was my first visit and it definitely will not be my last. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing ambience. It's the trifecta and definitely one of the best restaurants in Provincetown. Let's start with the bread. It is a perfect loaf of warm, crusty deliciousness served with a side of hummus and olive oil. Yes. I ate all of it. I was offered another basket but sadly declined since I wanted to have some room for my actual meal. The butternut squash soup was delightful. Just the right amount of creaminess with little nuggets of sunflower seeds to chew on throughout. Loved every moment of that soup consumption. I tasted the wedge salad and it was amazing. I ordered the Portuguese stew and it was amazing. I tried the cod and it was amazing. I might have used the word amazing a few times. No room for dessert. I can't wait to go back.

Jefferson C.

Yelp
We had a lovely dinner at Jimmy's hideaway last night. Such a classic Provincetown venue. Our server Eve was delightful, helpful, friendly, welcoming, and took great care of us. This is such a special spot in Provincetown -- hidden, quiet, scenic, and the food is absolutely delicious! And, these folks know how to make a martini! Thanks to everyone at Jimmy's Hideaway for a great first night dinner on our 2021 Provincetown vacay!

Yelp
Talented chef, but the execution is lacking. The fisherman's stew was a good idea, with subtle flavors, however at 7:20 pm everything in it was well over cooked with some ingredients barely recognizable. The menu should perhaps be adjusted to the level of the kitchen staff. The bread, even as a side, was stale, but roasted. Is there no bakery in Provincetown or no attention to detail? The saving grace was the waitress, who knew the wine and unambiguously recommended a superb Gruner Vetliner, sparing me the trouble in an otherwise exhaustive selection.

Yelp
I went to Jimmy's HideAway on the recommendation of the B&B I stayed at and it was ok. As I went prior to the big dinner rush I didn't make a reservation (only a party of 1) so I didn't figure there would be an issue. Well I would highly recommend to make a reservation as it was apparent they didn't like someone showing up without one. The bartender was nice and the food was good but didn't stay for an extra drink. I would give them a second chance but would be a while.

Yelp
We really loved our experience here. Lovely ambience, both inside and outside. In my personal experience, I felt some of the more typical American fusion really excellent - the grilled mussels with lemon butter, for example, and the lobster sliders looked incredible. We ordered the cod atop kale and lingüiça, as well as the seafood stew and felt both could use a bit more depth and seasoning. Having said that, my palate is more oriented towards Italian and maybe I was secretly hoping for something closer to cioppino, and of course these dishes were much more Portuguese in their preparation. Definitely can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes. Great cocktails as well!

Yelp
Avoid this place Wouldn't make a simple pasta dish for my lil girl even if we were ordering a bottle of wine and dinner

Yelp
The food and service was incredible. We were in p-town for a few days and went to many 4-5 star rated restaurants and left each one feeling the food fell far short of our expectations . NOT Jimmy's Hideaway. This place was incredible. Delicious food, amazing view, and excellent service (the drinks were good too). I order the Seafood Stew and it did not disappoint. One of the best seafood dishes I have had in a while. My BF ordered the cheeseburger because he felt like it was "safe" after striking out on so many restaurants earlier in the week. It too was fantastic. I highly recommend Jimmy's Hideaway; if you leave p-town without eating here, you're doing yourself a disservice :-)

Yelp
Iconic Ptown restaurant with a solid menu and cocktail list. All of the seafood and comfort food options were all on point.
