"Even if you’re not staying at Ojai Valley Inn, you can still visit the 220-acre resort by checking out its collection of restaurants. Our favorite of the bunch is Jimmy’s Pub—a surprisingly casual all-day spot that overlooks a massive golf course. There’s a long bar inside, but we recommend grabbing an outdoor table to take advantage of the scenic grounds and prime people-watching. Bring a friend and snack on things like crispy buffalo shrimp, creamy avocado hummus, and wood-fired pizza topped with fennel sausage. You’ll get the five-star service you’d expect from a country club without the membership fee. " - nikko duren

The view is absolutely lovely, if you are looking for somewhere to soak in the vibes this is your place The staff are very attentive and friendly ❤️ the food is very good. The drink my friend got was actually quite good, I don’t like alcohol but I tried a sip and it was actually drinkable. Y’all must be using the good stuff.

Jimmy's Pub is located on the Ojai Valley Inn property, and my favorite thing about this place is you can buy a $20 cocktail and take it anywhere on the property. It's a little oasis. A little slice of freedom. Everyone is trying to regulate everything nowadays, so this was a breath of fresh air. We also ate here and the 6 of us sat around a little Iphone watching the USC Penn State game while the rolling hills of Ojai looked over us. The smash burger, pizza, and drinks were the poster child for 4/5, but absolutely got the job done. The staff was also super accommodating as they allowed us to move tables when ours became in the direct line of the sun's wrath. I know that's so annoying for them, but the sun was WHOOPIN us. USC lost in OT too, so that hurt pretty bad. We really fell off so hard. Growing up in the Pete Carroll era was such a blessing and a curse. I didn't know how good we had it. Jimmy's Pub was a great way to end our round of golf. We had a table overlooking the tenth tee with a view of a beautiful oak tree festooned with lanterns. The food and the service were quite spectacular.

Jimmy’s Pub is the perfect day in Ojai whether you are there for lunch or dinner. Sitting by the fire pits with friends and sharing the buffalo shrimp (Aaaaaamazing) and a yummy pizza doesn’t get much better. It was so good we forgot to snap photos! Their beer and wine selections are on point and the food is delicious. This was our third visit and definitely won’t be our last!

Willie is the best host in the business. He gave my family our best night in a while. Easily my favorite part of the resort. #MTXE!

Lew W.

Yelp
Promptly seated by host who seemed genuinely pleased we stopped in. Our server was polite but insincere. Beautiful patio area overlooking the golf course. We started with cocktails. The lemon lavender was refreshing and my old fashioned was very good. Decided to split a pepperoni pizza which was quite good. And it wasn't swimming in oil like so many are when pepperoni is the protein. Was it worth fighting to find a parking place? Probably not. There are friendlier options in Ojai. Cheers!

Yelp
We were staying on the property and after trying the brunch, this was super close (literally next door)! Food Fennel sausage: we ordered the fennel sausage which is white sauce pizza. Hamburger and fries: The burger was really good and the skinny fries? So good with ranch. Recommend. Margherita pizza was delicious. Get this. Maybe add sausage for added protein. Ice cream cookie dessert: Love the ice cream on the warm cookie dessert. Salsa and guacamole chips: Delightfully crispy and flaky. Amazing to sit outside overlooking the golf course. We enjoyed this more than The Oak. The service was also casual and friendly.

Yelp
This pub is a frequent destination for me, thanks to its delicious food, courteous staff, and inviting atmosphere. I find it an ideal spot to relax with a cocktail after a long day or catch up with friends.

Yelp
Thanks For The Wonderful Experience jimmys! Our server Gaby Was Excellent. Very memorable

Yelp
We came here in a big college football game day and it was busy but we got right in at 12:30. We had to wait a decent amount of time in between meeting our server to ordering our food which was disappointing, but we could semi enjoy the football game in the mean time on the tvs inside. It's also very dark in the corner we sat in which isn't my style and it was hard to see the colors in the food. I got the grilled chicken wrap which was filled with dryish chicken chunks, yummy cheese, watery pesto, some greens and lots of onions. The best part was the pita wrap it came in, but it was mildly cold instead of warm like it's meant to be. I think my food was waiting on the pizzas we ordered. The side salad was topped with raw onions which I'm not a fan of, and it seems they love to use onions on everything here. The pizzas were fresh and tastey. The perfect crispy and soft crust; and in good amount. They pile on the pepperoni for the pizza and had a good amount of sausage on the sausage and fennel pizza. We also got an Italian chopped salad which was drenched in dressing and had a few chickpeas sprinkled without, I have to say it did not look appetizing at all.

Yelp
Jimmy's is my favorite restaurant in Ojai for the food, service and ambiance. I love the food! Especially the smash burgers. There is nothing on the menu that isn't delicious. I don't drink, but I love the lavender lemonade (virgin) and there are other mocktails. The service is fantastic - it is the Ojai Valley Inn. It's famous for service and greatness. They really deliver. A lot of locals know this secret. It's one of our favorites. It's a bit pricey but - it's worth it!

Melanie S.

Yelp
Another year later and I finally made it back to the Ojai Valley Inn. My friends and I chose Jimmy's Pub again specifically for their Italian Chopped. My friend has been dreaming of this salad since last year when we visited. The balance of flavors and the light oregano dressing makes this one killer. It's hard to find a good chopped salad! The service is always amazing and the view is just spectacular if you can sit outside. We were there a few hours and Joe was our server. So awesome! Shout out to Joe! This Jean jacket crew loved our time there yesterday. I really love their menu and execution. The Ojai Valley Inn is truly a gem I need to visit more often.

Denise V.

Yelp
Really loved this restaurant during our stay at the Oahu Valley Inn. Ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, fish's tacos, and smash burger. Everything was excellent including their top notch staff. We had our dog with us, and they accommodated us in their patio area and provided a lap blanket. Liked it so much we returned the next day for the margarita pizza in the bar area to watch the Rams game.

Gary V.

Yelp
We went to Jimmy's this afternoon. Tip notch experience. Great service, food, and atmosphere. Started with the ahi poke. So fresh and the plantains were great and plentiful. Then we had the smashburger and wings. Burger was phenomenal and so flavorful. Fries great also. Wings were some of the best I've ever had. Super crispy. Definite must try when in Ojai.

Lisa P.

Yelp
We had a fantastic evening at Jimmy's! The service was outstanding, with the Manager personally checking in on us multiple times. The French onion dip was our absolute favorite--definitely a must-try! We'll be back for sure :)

Brock S.

Yelp
Although this place is on campus for Ojai Valley Inn, I think it's reasonably priced and does a great job with staff and food. Also, sitting outside by the golf course is a must if you've never done it. I love the fennel sausage pizza, but the fish tacos, wagu tacos, and burger are also really good. The views are great of the mountains, but it gets cold in the evening.

Diana H.

Yelp
Had dinner here last weekend. Emmy is the man! Gave us plenty of personal recommendations that included some substitutes on his end and he was so attentive and kind. Must get the pub chips if you like potato chips. Such crack those chips are! We got the sausage pizza on white with the added jalapeños and sage per Emmy's recommendation. Very tasty. Also got the soba noodles. The view was perfect. We really enjoyed it all and have extras for later! Oh yeah get the pixie margarita spicy if you like margaritas. It's delicious!

Nat C.

Yelp
Service was so wonderful and food was great. Our server Talia was the best! Drinks were delicious as well!

Michael V.

Yelp
5 star for ambiance and 5 for service. Food is fantastic but not enough to justify 5 stars. As a regular visitor to the Ojai area, Jimmy's is a place I regularly return to for sunset dinner. The grounds are extremely beautiful as is the sitting area for food. It overlooks the golf course and has a wonderful view of the topa topa mountains. The service has always been grade A. Have always felt welcome and have been well taken care of. The menu is not extensive, but has good variety. The fish tacos are exceptional.

Jonathan B.

Yelp
Jimmy's is the most informal dine-in location on the resort. It's called a pub but sort of a restaurant too; not high end enough food to be considered a gastropub. Burger - below average. American cheese and no other choices. No tomato which is weird to me. Fries were stringy and wish they had been cooked a bit more. Asked for medium and it was over cooked Fish tacos - better than I expected. Generous portion of fish. The aioli has a good kick to it. The slaw was really just shredded cabbage. Would eat it again. Little gem Caesar - generous amount of lettuce. Garlic dressing was tasty. Skip the croutons. You can add steak, chicken, or salmon but we convinced them to add shrimp. Decent selection of beers including Black Butte which was an unexpected porter. Full bar so they can make almost any drink. Waitstaff was very nice and attentive without being intrusive.

Rachel H.

Yelp
Best burger of my life! The smash burger is amazing. We recently stayed at Ojai Valley Inn and dined at the Pub twice during our visit. We enjoyed the smash burger (twice), the mushroom pizza and the fish tacos (grilled). Everything was outstanding, but the burger was next-level delicious. If you dine outdoors on the patio it is tough to beat the scenery and ambiance here. Service was terrific and the prices were great considering the very generous portions. Even if you are not staying at the Inn, you should make time for a stop at the Pub whenever you are in Ojai.

Sara Bethany M.

Yelp
Yes please! I can say I have eaten here almost 100x and I am never disappointed. Good food, wonderful location and nice staff!

Betty Y.

Yelp
We always eat at the pub at least a couple times when we are staying on property at Ojai Resort. It's easy to just walk in for a table and the service is top notch. This past trip we arrived on Xmas day and the following dinner we picked the pub because it's part of our routine. We ordered the burger, tacos and kids grilled cheese... we all got yummy food that had giant heaps of fries. I wish I could have eaten all the fries but I finally hit my limit. The next meal we had there was lunch and while the menu is the same as dinner, you can always pick something else to try.. that's the best part of the restaurant.

Caren R.

Yelp
We loved the view, the food, and the sun. Nice drive up to Ojai Valley Inn, free valet parking, and was able to get into Jimmy's on the weekend with a table looking at the golf course. We had lavender lime aid, tacos, avocado hummus, Smashburger. Everything was really good. Prices are average for a hotel resort restaurant.

Chuck H.

Yelp
Incredible place for drinks and food. Started out with mimosas and Bloody Mary drinks. For our starter was a very delicious feta and beet salad with pistachio bits. Yum. We then had a wonderful salad and Waygu beef tacos. Just a super fantastic experience. Highly recommended this place.

Jim B.

Yelp
Just an amazing location! First, you're in Ojai. The menu is really nice with lots of choices. Justin is a terrific waiter! There were a few of us and we shared a Caesar salad, the little gem salad, buffalo wings, buffalo shrimp, pulled pork sandwich and a hoagie. Everything was great! If you have the opportunity stop by the Ojai Valley Inn - you'll thank me.

Joe P.

Yelp
After a round of golf at Ojai Valley Inn (with no lunch in between), we were ready for some heavy apps. Jimmy's is the onsite watering hole at the resort. We had wangz, loaded fries, and a pepperoni pizza. First of all, the wangz were meaty and tangy. We didn't mind the high price bc we knew wing prices are going through the roof (plus we were captive at resort). Secondarily, the portion of fries was huge, and there were a ton of toppings (think nacho fries). The fries were crispy down to the last bite. Lastly, the pizza had a lot of pepperoni. Yes, it was pricey, but we didn't scoff at the resort price. The crust had a nice char also. The main reason we didn't blink at the resort prices, was the excellent service from Matilda. She was friendly & attentive. As opposed to our breakfast experience at The Oak (the all day restaurant at the resort), we received requests on a timely basis. The ambiance outdoors was nice, and properly spaced. The next time I return to golf, I would have no problem coming back to Jimmy's. The food & drink selection is wide, and the service from Matilda is outstanding.

Scott Y.

Yelp
Great service but the chef is trying to be to "LA" and ruined the ceasar dressing, charges $37 for an ok burger, weird cheese on the fungi pizza??? It was great then not????? You went from a cool bar with great food to drafty bar with so so bar food.

Dan N.

Yelp
Jimmy's is a great place to go after a round of golf at Ojai Valley Inn. Sitting on the patio offers great views over the course and inside they have tv's to show sports events. Service is ok and they have a good menu. Price is rather high in my opinion but you are at Ojai Valley Inn. They offer a full bar and a decent selection of beers. It does get pretty loud if you are inside though so sitting outside may be preferred (weather permitting). OVI is a beautiful place though and if you find yourself looking for a gorgeous place to stay, this is it.

Daniel C.

Yelp
Jimmy's Pub is the casual lunch, dinner, and after-dinner gastropub at the Ojai Valley Inn. The service is great and the food is pretty good and diverse: pizzas, tacos, burgers, and even a grilled chicken banh mi. The pub is named after a flamboyant celebrity golfer from the classic Hollywood days. The buffalo wings are one of our favorites - spicy and tart flats and drums with plenty of meat. The mix of cool ranch dip is essential for a balanced taste. Be sure to save some for their fresh celery and carrots. For mains, the Margherita Pizza was good but can use some more cheese. The Pineapple and Speck is similar to a Hawaiian Pizza except you have speck (fatty smoked pork like bacon) replacing Canadian bacon. For desserts, we took the plunge and tried their Miracle Cake. Imagine a chocolate cake that's egg-free, sugar-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free. Decent cake though slightly dry (guess moisture-free doesn't sound too positive). The sweetness came from cocoa powder and the side of berries.

Rachel J.

Yelp
We loved Jimmy's Pub during our stay at Ojai Valley Inn. Standout food: avocado hummus, pepperoni pizza and of course the chocolate chip cookie skillet. Cocktails were also delicious. Our servers and the bartender were so nice and friendly. We can't wait to go back!

Mia K.

Yelp
This place really earns 3 1/2 stars but I rounded it for the chill outdoor seating. Not much more can relax you than staring at a lush golf course and serene hills. The complimentary chips with truffle oil and shaved cheese is addictive! They have a good selection of appetizers, entrees and drinks (but no Arnold Palmer??). My personal pizza was good. The crust was perfect but needed more sauce. The burger was a little over cooked. Fries had skin, always a plus. I LOVED the bacon jam alone!! Winner! The Reuben was heavy and huge. Very filling. Service was decent but I wish they had insect lamps. I'm not sadistic, but I would've been fine hearing zaps if that kept pesky flies off my food. Prices were inflated but they could get away with it since your choices are limited at Ojai Valley Inn and Resort. Still, a better choice than Libbey's, the neighboring counter style place. Would definitely dine hear again.

Justin F.

Yelp
Fantastic drinks. Food not high-end enough to fall into gastropub territory but certainly attempts an air of pretentiousness. Service was slow and directly adjacent to us was a graveyard of flies. Pass.

Andy L.

Yelp
Food was good got the Fish Tacos and they were good wasn't top 10 ever. Service was quick price was high but not for location. Patio overlooks mountains and golf course so very peaceful.

Anne C.

Yelp
This five star review is really for our server from our lunch today, Alena, at Jimmy's Pub. It was extremely hot weather today but that didn't phase her. We had two tables because there were 13 of us. Alena managed to get all of our orders correctly and was able to get them out on a timely manner. Because it was so hot, she brought an ice bucket with cold linens in them for us to use to cool ourselves while waiting for our food. She kept checking up on us, constantly refilling our glass with iced water. She was just amazing! For the food, they were just ok. We had pulled pork sandwich, it needed more bbq sauce. The pickles that came with it was really good. The avocado hummus was more than ok, I liked this more than the sandwich actually. My kids shared a pepperoni pizza and they said it looked good but it didn't match the taste. We had some ice cream next door to the restaurant. It was McConnell's ice cream so it was amazing. We will definitely come back here and hopefully we'll get Alena again!

Rita S.

Yelp
While there is not a lot of places to choose from while staying at this resort, it is not a bad choice for lunch especially if you like a nice outdoor scene. Their tortilla soup was not my favorite, but the pizza (idk the name but it had truffle oil and mushrooms) was a good choice. It was great for lunch and it's a plus that they had sitting area out by the trees.

Shelby J.

Yelp
This pub actually sits on the property of the Ojai Resort in Ojai California. It's very small and quaint with an outside sitting area. This restaurant is a little on the pricey side $$$. We ordered the fried brussels sprouts and the Salsiccia pizza which was fabulous!! Both were very tasty. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the service was very nice. There are several TVs in the pub for your viewing pleasure. I am not sure if pets are allowed however I did see a service dog in the pub with its owner. I would definitely like to come back to this restaurant if for nothing else, the pizza

Eriko P.

Yelp
Great place for a casual lunch! Free self parking at the hotel. Self seating at this restaurant. Full Service sit down restaurant. The outdoor patio looks over the gold course. There was a live bluegrass music performance while we had our lunch. Justin our server was very prompt and efficient and professional. We split the funghi pizza and chopped salad and it was perfect for us! I felt like I was on vacation!

Kristina P.

Yelp
We came back just for the Jimmy's Pub smash burger, it has been fabulous every time! The wait staff is also very friendly and attentive. Plus you can't beat the view for a casual lunch!

John F.

Yelp
Had guests over for the weekend and they were looking for a classy place to have a drink. I suggested Jimmy's. They went over and sat down and waited for 20 minutes and no body came to take their order. The issue is, they weren't busy at all. I was surprised they got poor service at the Ojai Valley Inn. We have stayed there several times and used the spa services and had great service there. May want to think twice about Jimmy's Pub especially when their are several great pubs in town that provide exceptional service. Jimmy's needs to step up their game!

Amber K.

Yelp
My Panini was good, but I don't think Barada melts well because the taste wasn't there so well everything else inside was good and the bread was toasted to perfection the lack of flavor with the cheese made it disappointing. The fries were insane so good & my husband has no notes on the pizza which means it was great

Carlos A.

Yelp
I love biking here. If you take the Ventura/Ojai river trail it takes you to the Ojai valley inn. Last time I was having lunch at Oak restaurant I noticed tons of cyclist having lunch across the way at Jimmy's pub. That inspired me to bike here on a weekday and have lunch here. They have outdoor seating and a bike rack right next to the tables so you can keep an eye on your bike. I had the margherita pizza with a soft crust which I enjoyed. This is a great place to have lunch at the beginning, middle, or end of a ride.

Rose J.

Yelp
My husband and I love coming to Jimmys on the weekends for brunch. We get both the east coast vibe in the restaurant and So Cal living on the patio; the best of both worlds. Jimmy's Pub has a casual atmosphere, beautiful views, and tasty bites. The pulled pork sandwich and burger are tasty, and plentiful. On weekends the pub offer an unlimited Bloody Mary and mimosa bar. You can doctor up your Bloody Mary to your liking, extra spicy for me The service is good. The wait staff are attentive and friendly, giving off that Ojai Valley Inn appeal. Can't wait to go back, to enjoy the atmosphere and good food.

Robert C.

Yelp
If you venture to Ojai and are looking for lunch with a beautiful view and won't break the bank then this is the place. Don't worry, just because it isn't expensive doesn't mean the portions aren't generous. We both left with full tummies. The service was impeccable. You'd swear you were eating at a 5 star restaurant based on how attentive the staff was and how courteous. That added in with the gorgeous view and you'll realize how great this place is! Reccomendations: 1. The Rachel--Pastrami, coleslaw, thousand island dressing, and swiss on rye bread. Tell me that doesn't make your mouth salivate. 2. Roasted Turkey Sub--Not your ordinary turkey sub. It comes equipped with jam, dijon, and havarti. Yum Yum Yum!

Kristi N.

Yelp
Sweet spot at the Ojai valley in and Spa. We loved the music playing on Sunday Afternoon and I forgot the guy's name. We had a lovely lunch and enjoyed the view.

Nicholas N.

Yelp
A good or bad review doesn't really matter when there aren't too many other bars to choose from at this nice resort :-) The best thing about this place is the excellent service, the optional outside dining and relaxing ambiance, and cocktails/drinks. Decent menu for lunch. The chicken wings are meh and too spicy! I liked the truffle mushroom pizza and Brussels sprouts. The half chicken and polenta dish is delicious.

Owen H.

Yelp
The food here is good but nothing special. The best thing about this restaurant is definitely the atmosphere. Beautiful view of the golf course and mountains - if you are able to find seating that is. If not, the restaurant is okay too. The food was not bad at all but seemed a little overpriced. After all, it is a resort restaurant. If you are looking to stay on the resort for dinner and get something chill and casual, I recommend going to Jimmy's Pub for sure. If you would prefer something more fancy and higher quality, see The Oak next door.

Mimi A.

Yelp
I got the burger and it was fantastic. Really well made -!and service was great as well. However, I had to deduct two stars because my sister ordered the white pizza and it was burnt at the bottom and VERY oily. Also, prices are pretty steep, especially if you have children. I would recommend for the view and convenience but would not recommend going out of your way for a visit.

Michael A.

Yelp
For such a nice hotel/resort, I was a little disappointed with the quality of the food here. The service was great, and everyone was very accommodating, but the food quality just wasn't there. To boot, this pub/restaurant is quite pricy.. Especially for the mediocre food. My friends and I came here on a Saturday around 3pm in the afternoon. We ordered the chicken wings and chips/guac/dip appetizers to start, with drinks. I ordered a large 22 oz Topa Topa IPA, and my friends ordered various cocktails. No complaints about the drinks, they were great. The guacamole was exceptional, as well. The chips themselves were alright, and the wings were decent enough. A little spicy and messy, so if that's what you're into, order away. They were decently meaty. The ambiance was nice. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the greenery and views. It really was beautiful here. The main course: Pretty average. I ordered the margherita pizza which was good, and I liked that it came with a lot of sauce. My friend ordered the hotdog, which was enormous! The dog itself did not taste that good, however. My other friends ordered the tacos, which they liked, but didn't think were that great. All in all, this place is worth it for the experience and I would come back. The views are beautiful, and it really is relaxing. A great place to sit out, drink a few beers, and enjoy the day. The prices are steep for the quality of food, but I suppose you are also paying for the nice views, so it'll get a pass from me for now.

Carol V.

Yelp
$5 for a cup of coffee? Come on. Isn't that a bit excessive? Not even a fancy cup, not an espresso or a latte or anything but a plain cup of coffee

Dawn G.

Yelp
Jimmy's is still closed unless you are a registered guest of the Inn. We love Jimmy's Pub. Great atmosphere and food. But, we tried to have dinner there last Wednesday and were turned away at the gate. They are currently closed to all but registered guests. We were disappointed, but found an acceptable substitute at Bocalli's on the East end of Ojai.

Millie G.

Yelp
We booked 3 nights at Ojai but had to cut our trip short by a day because my husband got food poisoning from the fish tacos. They were delicious and deadly. We ate/shared everything except that one dish. We ate twice at Jimmy's. The meal was fine the first time, it was the second time with the tacos that kept my husband sick all night and that shortened the trip. Service with Emmie was fantastic. It was such a shame to have gotten sick. Ojai Valley Inn is beautiful, with excellent amenities, and service-focused staff. The loss prevention person came with his assistant to collect info to file an incident report about the food poisoning. He was very professional and gave us his number if we had questions. I was a little bummed our final bill still included that last charge from Jimmy's since their Exec team was reviewing our case. We were there to rest/heal, I didn't expect to bring home a sicker partner than when we first got there. I didn't dispute the bill because we just wanted to get home so my husband could rest comfortably. The valet staff charged up our car and the luggage/cart driver couldn't be nicer. I would love to go back to Ojai Valley Inn, but unlikely, I would eat at Jimmy's again.

Yelp
We stayed here from the 17th to the 19th we had a whale of a time We went for lunch on our last day and the customer service was amazing. Our sever was excellent and the bus boy Derek wa extremely helpfully and made sure ever bit of our meal was amazing. He helped us get everything we needed in a super friendly way. Overall we had a great time and the customer service was amazing throughout the resort but was highlighted by the bus boy Derek
