For such a nice hotel/resort, I was a little disappointed with the quality of the food here. The service was great, and everyone was very accommodating, but the food quality just wasn't there. To boot, this pub/restaurant is quite pricy.. Especially for the mediocre food.
My friends and I came here on a Saturday around 3pm in the afternoon. We ordered the chicken wings and chips/guac/dip appetizers to start, with drinks. I ordered a large 22 oz Topa Topa IPA, and my friends ordered various cocktails. No complaints about the drinks, they were great. The guacamole was exceptional, as well. The chips themselves were alright, and the wings were decent enough. A little spicy and messy, so if that's what you're into, order away. They were decently meaty.
The ambiance was nice. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the greenery and views. It really was beautiful here.
The main course: Pretty average. I ordered the margherita pizza which was good, and I liked that it came with a lot of sauce. My friend ordered the hotdog, which was enormous! The dog itself did not taste that good, however.
My other friends ordered the tacos, which they liked, but didn't think were that great.
All in all, this place is worth it for the experience and I would come back. The views are beautiful, and it really is relaxing. A great place to sit out, drink a few beers, and enjoy the day. The prices are steep for the quality of food, but I suppose you are also paying for the nice views, so it'll get a pass from me for now.
