Where To Eat Near London's Parks - London - The Infatuation

"Jim’s Café is a casual American diner-style day and night restaurant in the middle of Chatsworth Road. So whether you’ve been in the sewage water of Hackney Marshes, pretending there isn’t a packet of McCoys and an Ofo bike floating past you, or just lazing about in Millfields Park, it’s an easy 15 minute walk from either. The double cheeseburger is particularly good here, but there are vegan, vegetarian, and kid’s options as well." - Jake Oliver

Jim’s Cafe Review - Clapton - London - The Infatuation

"A biker cafe in Clapton sounds a bit dangerous, doesn’t it? Like that scene in True Detective. You know, the one where Matthew McConaughey goes into a meth stash house undercover with lots of angry, hairy men. Well Jim’s Cafe is nothing like that. Swap the meth for moreish brunch and burgers, and the anger for an extremely comfortable and diner-ish environment, and then you’re more on the mark. Jim’s is one of Chatsworth Road’s most reliable hangouts. The coffee and breakfast is good, and the burger is, whisper it, definitely one of London’s best." - Jake Missing

Have been past here so many times, but today thought we would go in and get a breakfast. And we were very pleased we did. The cafe itself is great inside with old style booths in the front and tables with a TV in the back. The food was very nice indeed and we also tried a couple of house cocktails, well why not? They had the world cup on in the back, so we carried on our day with a few pints watching the footie. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Will now be a place we come more often for sure.

Had a great quality double cheeseburger with chips (extra) and a pint of larger on draft. Just over £20 including service. I thought the vibes were great (talking heads playing in the background) and staff were efficient and accommodating. I’d go back but maybe only with friends, might be a tad over-priced for a solo trip, despite the high quality.

We went there to have brunch. I chose the Salt Beef Hash, delicious food, huge portion. Reasonable prices, cool interior design and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Great authentic cafe/diner spot. Burgers are amazing and the fries are one of the best in London. Good range of drinks and cocktails too. Dogs are very much welcomed!

Sitting outside was perfect to watch Chatsworth road go by. Unfortunately that was where the positives finished. Firstly the food is all a couple of quid too expensive, the service was slow and I received my milkshake way after I had finished my lunch. With a good range of eateries in the area is difficult to reccomend with plenty of other excellent options along the road.

Google
Looks great and the food is decent but it's a bit overpriced and staff don't all make an effort... Hopefully service will be improved and become a top rated caff.

Google
Super friendly and professional staff and excellent hearty food. We love this place. So glad they've kept it retro and alternative. It's such a reminder of childhood cafés.

Yelp
Shrimp burgers. Brioche bun charred badly on one side. The coleslaw not seasoned, and looked like it had been cut with an axe. Burger which was good the first to time we had lunch there, was pretty poor this time, no flavour. Frozen French fries, no thanks. If you can't cut potato is that a kitchen. Need to up the game, potentially a good place but I would not revisit serving up like this.

Yelp
My new favourite restaurant! I have been bringing everyone I know here. The food and service are excellent and the interior is cozy & cool - this place is perfection.
