Preston Center Scores a New York Style Pizza Destination | Eater Dallas

"A longtime McKinney pizza institution founded in 1969 that had been a local fixture for decades; the founder retired last year and recently died after a long COVID-19 hospitalization. The business is being continued by his son, and the strong community response to the founder’s passing — including heavy virtual-funeral attendance — underscores the restaurant’s deep local roots and loyal following." - Brittanie Shey

Was in the McKinney area and wanted to stop for something easy for dinner. Found this place on Google and truly enjoyed it. Staff was really nice, the pizza was really yummy, and relaxed atmosphere. I requested a pizza and they made it for me too! Can’t wait to go back when I’m in the area again!

Dathan and Charles attended my first visit. Cool guys! As for the pizza, it was great! Nice and fresh! Will be returning!

First time eating here did the buffet for 2 people came out to 35$ with drinks . Family owned place from what I hear pizza fresh hot goes quick but the pizza chef ready with new ones to go out . Honestly I couldn't get enough of the bread sticks they a nice crunch when you bite into them and soft inside (ate like 8 of them) pizza is more like a thin crust style . I will definitely be back

Sadly, today was our last time at Jim’s Pizza. For years we’ve supported this place because it used to be my husband’s favorite pizza spot, even back when they were at their old location. When they moved to the new one, we continued going, but the experience has gone downhill ever since. Today we went hoping to enjoy a family dinner, but it was honestly very disappointing. They have changed the staff so many times that every time we come, there are new faces. We were practically the only customers in the restaurant from the moment we arrived until we left, and yet the service was nonexistent. We had to serve our own drinks, the plates piled up on our table and no one ever came to clear them. There were pieces of peaches on the floor, and the girl working kept walking right over them without picking them up. If the front of the restaurant looks like this, I can’t imagine how the kitchen must be. The bathrooms, as always, were extremely dirty. It’s honestly not pleasant to eat in a place under those conditions. With sadness, but also with clarity, we’ve decided we won’t be coming back.

Well, it was the first time here, and I was not disappointed. Went on a Saturday night, which is lasagna buffet night! Lasagna, salad bar, some desserts, breadsticks, and sauce! They offer so much. Veteran pizzeria and they offer discount. Good food and good prices. A young guy I believe his name is Shawn at the register, on the phone and all over, had to deal with a crazy older lady cursing up a storm! He was under a lot of stress, hot and busy ! He did a great job both at work and handling her. Great job, young man! You need a raise.

Jim’s Pizza is hands-down one of McKinney’s hidden gems. The crust hits that perfect balance — crisp on the outside, soft and chewy inside — like it was crafted by someone who actually cares about dough. The sauce? Unreal. Rich, tangy, and full of flavor that tastes like it simmered all day in an Italian grandmother’s kitchen. You can tell they don’t cut corners here. Every bite feels like it was made for pizza lovers who’ve been disappointed one too many times by “just okay” pies. Not this place. This is the real deal — comfort food meets craftsmanship. If you’re within driving distance, stop scrolling and go. Jim’s doesn’t just make pizza… they make memories that taste like home. 🍕🔥

I've been going to Jim's Pizza since we moved to the McKinney area in 2005. My wife loves the thin crust Chicken, Bacon, Ranch pizza. I love the old school thin crust pizzas along with the Chicago Style and the Chocolate Brownie pizza with soft ice cream melting on top of it! Mmmmmmmm! I think I'm going there for lunch today! Go enjoy it every once in awhile!

Google
Hey guys if you looking for pizza not exactly like Pizza Casa and Pizza Villa. But super close. It’s been family owned since 1969. The son took over from his dad and he graduated from P.E.S.H. IN THE 80’s. He knew the Pizza casa family and has some of the stuff sold from pizza casa. He also ate with his family at pizza villa as well in high school. Check out Jim’s Pizza @ 2107 Eldorado Ste 110 McKINNEY Tx 75070. They even have a buffet…It’s is bringing back delicious memories of Pizza Casa…Just like Sol Becker made. Tell them David with Mercedes Pools sent you….Bon Appetite Not to be confused with Mr.Jims..

Yelp
Our favorite for lunch or if we are having a pizza party for work. The buffet is loaded with fresh salad veggies and any pizza you can imagine. Just ask if you don't see your favorite and they'll make it for you! My favorite is the Canadian bacon and mushrooms. Warm, relaxing atmosphere with plenty of seating and pizza nostalgia everywhere. Love this place!!

Yelp
On Friday and Saturday, the buffet with a soda and tax comes to $16 as of now. That's a bit more than Cici's and Mama's so how does it compare? Lasagna is the add on dish to justify it and I think the lasagna is pretty good but it isn't as good as the lasagna at most Italian places which would go heavy on the ricotta. But if you like the lasagna and you want the salad and pizza, it's probably worth it to you. Spaghetti is every day and it's served with a meatless marinara sauce that's pretty good. This beats the pasta option at Mama's and is way better than the little noodles at Cici's. The salad is mostly fresh but the carrots seemed like they might have aged out on my visit. Multiple kinds of cheese, sliced ham, and pepperoni are on there. No eggs, no bacon, no honey mustard dressing. Overall I would take the salad at Mama's in Plano over this but most people would be happy. The pizza is thin style and I prefer this. I think most people probably prefer this. For cheese and pepperoni pizza it's pretty good. I think they make more variety and they take requests but you have to know enough to know what to request or the variety is limited. That carries over to the dessert pizzas. When I was there tonight they had only the cinnamon pizza similar to Cici's and what Pizza Inn and Gattiland had back in the day. It's good but not as good as hot cinnamon rolls. In the photos I see they've had cookies and brownie pizza before but I don't know if they still have those or if you can request them. There's also a soft serve dispenser with vanilla, chocolate and swirl and nobody else has that. It's great and goes well with the cinnamon pizza. Drinks are Coke products at the fountain, some other things behind the counter, and tea, water and lemonade on a table. I don't think there's alcohol. Seating area was fine and the people were nice. Probably worth it on the weekend if you want the lasagna.

Yelp
As pizza buffets go, darn good joint! The service was outstanding, fresh pizza kept rolling out, and everything tasted quality. I think their price is more than fair as well. The salad bar is really well-stocked with good choices. I want to return to try their lasagna night as well. Things you need to know: - pay on your way out - if you want something specific, just ask - there is a little soft serve machine in the corner for dessert

Yelp
Pizza and Salad bar is ok. It not the best but if you like buffet pizza it fits the bill. My only complaint is the floors are dirty with food pieces left from previous diners. Service was friendly and the manager was a super dude and very attentive to make whatever pizza we wanted.
google avatar

Victor M.

Yelp
We had a good time at first and the pizza was very good. The only thing that ruined the experience is when my 11 year old daughter told me and my wife that one of the men who picked up our dirty plates from the table was smiling and biting his lips at at her and it made her confused and feel uncomfortable. The man was a heavy set African American. Now I don't know if I feel comfortable coming to this place anymore.

Yelp
I moved to McKinney two years ago. I should have written this at that time, but I hate writing bad reviews and tend to procrastinate. I was excited that there was a pizza place near by that served gluten free pizza. The first time I ordered delivery they had a new driver. I ordered around 6 pm but my pizza never arrived until 8:30 and it was ice cold. I also ordered a salad because I needed to meet their minimum order and they didn't even bring the salad. The delivery guy said he would go back and get it but he never came back. I live less than a mile from this place. I called and they said they would take the salad off of my card, but that never happened. A few weeks went by and I called the office several times but didn't get any answer or call back so I wrote an email and was eventually contacted by someone in the office. They had to go back through the receipts and find my transaction then kindly refunded me the entire amount of my order which was very kind. I do appreciate their effort. A few weeks later, my son was visiting and helping me unpack and settle in and I told him I would buy dinner so we drove up to Jim's. (Less than a mile) I am disabled and it was already difficult to get up the stairs into the restaurant. We wanted to try the buffet, but they didn't have any GF pizza on the buffet but they very kindly let me have the buffet and made me a personal GF pizza which was very nice. The food was good, we loved the salad, my son enjoyed everything on the buffet and the GF pizza was the best I've had, but the place was filthy. We asked to have our table wiped down twice because it was so sticky. The floor was covered with pizza crumbs as if no one had swept the floor in days. There could have been a whole pizza crumbed on the floor there were so many crumbs. The floor by the drink machine was sticky and the whole place smelled like a sewer. As I went back to the bathroom the smell got worse and it looked like the floors had never been cleaned they were gummy with years of greasy gunk. The place just gave me an over all ick feeling. I hate to write bad reviews and I am very careful about writing them. Out of 378 reviews in my lifetime as a Yelp member I have only written 16 one star bad reviews, and 14 two star reviews. It is hopeful that someone will take note and do some cleaning there. My thoughts are if the area where the customers are is this dirty what must the kitchen look like? Yikes!

Yelp
Great pizza, salad bar, spaghetti and lasagna. Great food and value since we started eating there at their old location.

Yelp
I have been eating at Jim's Pizza since I was 16 yrs old and it was in old downtown McKinney. My whole family was friends with Jim and his family for years and we never went anywhere else for pizza. I was sorry to see them leave off of 380 but I knew they had to due to the old building and the City of McKinney. Well, I went to their new location up on El Dorado today and sorry to say my days of eating at Jim's Pizza are over. I arrived at 1pm for lunch, now their buffet stays open until 2pm - correct? I had a salad first, had to get my own drink - no one waited on me to get my drink. After eating my salad I went to the pizza buffet and it was full of old dried out pizzas - NOTHING fresh at all !!! I got about 3 pieces from 3 different pizzas and took them back to my table and attempted to eat them and just as I thought, they were old and dried out. I sat there until 1:40 and NO new pizzas were put out at all so I just got tired of waiting and then this waiter shows up out of no where and asks me if I need a drink and I said NO, I GOT MY OWN, so he went ahead and put a ticket on my table like he was expecting a tip I guess - yea right, no way on this end !! I read an article just this past weekend that Papa John, Dominoes, and Pizza Hut are ALL DOWN 30% first quarter - People are now watching what they are spending, especially on fast food. When I checked out - I was told my bill was over $14.00 for 1 buffet & 1 drink - that is A LOT TO SPEND for salad that was very good but 3 pieces of dried out pizza !!!!!! Like I said, my favorite pizza joint from childhood has now gone by the wayside !!!!!

Yelp
Kids were begging to go here, so we caved, and I have regretted it since. Service was not great. It's a buffet so you don't expect much, but somehow every interaction felt like we were bothering them. I can live with that but what I can't live with it the BUGS CRAWLING ON THE BUFFET! A small roach was seen crawling under a tray. When I immediately told the staff, they reacted like it wasn't the first time it's happened. We left immediately but I get so grossed out when I think of it! I highly recommend you stay away.

Yelp
I really don't know how to say how overjoyed we are to see this place reopen. If you knew Jim... you knew he had a heart for people and especially his community. Not only that, he has always had the best pizza around that people drive from everywhere to have. So when you combine great pizza and a longtime resident/owner that never forgot your patronage, you have one of the best staple places in north Texas. So... what about now? Jim passed... soooo how's the food? ON point! Same as it was - but even better at the new location! More room, same great hospitality. Best buffet around! As as true to Jim's love for our military, there is a military discount. Show them some love! Enjoy the pictures... their pizza has been perfected since 1969.

Courtney D.

Yelp
Here's the thing, when I showed up after calling in my order the doors were locked. I called the restaurant and knocked on the door a couple of times. I would have just left honestly if I hadn't paid for my pizza in advance. It was an annoying inconvenience. One lady was cleaning up the salad bar and rolled her eyes at me when she saw I was knocking. If that wasn't enough the pizza was not my favorite. I didn't enjoy the sauce so I won't be returning. The plus side is that the toppings didn't just fall off the pizza when you picked it up, so that's good.

Yelp
We decided to try Jim's after hearing raves from a number of McKinney natives. We arrived right at 5:25 (actually a couple minutes before start time for the buffet), and most of the pizza offerings on the buffet were already gone. The buffet offers salad, spaghetti with meat sauce, toast (possibly garlic), lasagne (I believe that's only on Fridays and Saturdays) and about 4-5 choices of pizza. They had pepperoni, cheese, sausage, and a "deluxe" version that had pepperoni, sausage, peppers, olives and onions, and a "dessert pizza". To their credit, they did restock pizza on the buffet fairly regularly, so we were able to sample each. There was only one server on duty, so I ended up just getting my drink refills myself. As for the food: - The pizza wasn't too bad, but to be honest I've had better. Being an extremely thin (like cracker-thin) crust, I think it's easy to overcook, and sitting on the buffet dries it out even more. Maybe extra thin crust just isn't my thing. - The spaghetti was also kinda dry, sitting in a pan. They might want to consider leaving it in water, or at least sprinkling a little water on it from time to time. The marinara meat sauce was actually pretty good, but the dry spaghetti diminished the taste. - I thought the lasagna was actually better than what I've had at places like Olive Garden. It had a real homemade taste to it, and endures well sitting in a pan on the buffet. - My wife tried the dessert pizza and was a little disappointed. It's basically crust with butter and sugar. Some cinnamon would've helped the taste. Summary: we enjoyed the fact that it was a buffet, and got to enjoy several varieties of pizza and pasta in one sitting. Not the greatest as some people have commented, but not terrible. Definitely try the lasagna! We'll probably be back when we get a hankerin' for a variety of pizzas.

Yelp
My wife and I came here for a quick dinner. The pizza we order was fair and the lady server was nice. The person who took our order was good. We did like the one and only TV as it did not cause a distraction while talking. My wife did see a coach roach near the fountain machine which kinda grossed her out. Overall it was an okay experience.

Yelp
I want to do Justice to people about this place. As I walked into the large establishment it had only one customer. The owner or manager was polite and asked me to sit and said please pay after you are done unlike Cicis I walked to the pizza buffet to find almost nothing to eat. Extremely poor presentation. Nothing to eat almost I requested a veggie and a then a spinach pizza. The quality of pizza was good but I won't never go back to this place unless the price is $2.99 for a buffet This company had to go a long way to fix the look of the place. I am sorry I am being honest. People are nice and I commend them to work here $13.99 for a pizza buffet no way Sorry

nick t.

Yelp
Very good pizza especially if your a meat guy. They have the best hamburger meat that they put on their pizzas. If you eat at the buffet and don't see your favorite pizza all you gotta do is ask and they will take care of you
google avatar

Erik S.

Yelp
Pizza is always good, love their deserts. They let us in for the buffet while they had recently closed it at 2:30pm we got in there at 3pm which is a plus since we had my niece with us. We were really grateful for that.
google avatar

Brown B.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place! Where do I start. My pizza was cool. The crust was hard and gummy. I had a spinach, chicken, mushroom and onion pizza and it tasted SALTY! I am disappointed and I feel cheated. Definitely will not patron here again.
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
It smells like sewage inside. Staff complained about several customers loudly. But, the bigger issue is that the further back in the restaurant you go the worse the smell of feces is. Not returning!
google avatar

Natalia E.

Yelp
Absolutely the best pizza buffet in DFW! Scott, the owner (Jim's son, Jim started the restaurant 50+ years ago), and his family and staff are the best. They will make just about any special request pizza. We've been coming since 2006! They moved to the new location in early April. Still the same fantastic pizza, salad bar and service. Don't forget to have the sweet tea, it pairs very well with the yummy pizza!
google avatar

Darin P.

Yelp
I was out, searching for a place to eat, and I always love a pizza Buffet both for the salad bar and the pizza. I was greeted right away and they were nice but my first step up to the salad bar was disappointing. The salad was not fresh and all I had there to put the salad on was a paper plate not a nice, thick paper plate, but a cheap paper plate. I don't know how I was going to hold salad and pizza on this flimsy plate, after putting the lettuce on my plate, I decided to leave. I don't know if the pizza is good or not but that salad was not pretty and for the money seriously they should give you a real plate.
google avatar

Casey R.

Yelp
Great Pizza Place!!!! The buffet was full of options. The salad bar had fresh ingredients and selections. The staff was super nice and friendly. Shannon the waitress was wonderful to talk to. I will come here again. Buffet for lunch and dinner EVERDAY they are open. Not open on Sundays.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Pizza was just ok. Friendly staff, spaghetti sauce was just ok as well. One and done for me.

Kyle C.

Yelp
First time ordering here and they botched my pizza. Very clearly said no black or green olives on the Jims Special and they must've read no green peppers so my pizza had a ton of green olives and no peppers (GROSS). On top of that both pizzas i ordered were supposed to be regular crust, but they made thin crust, and the regular pepperoni pizza was pretty sub-par. Definitely will never be ordering here again. Teach your cooks to read.
google avatar

Davud C.

Yelp
Really good za. Also great buffet. Best thin crust pizza for miles and miles. Cotton special: yes please Jim's combination: don't mind if I do Chicken bacon ranch: drooool

Yelp
My wife and I were in the DFW touring communities ahead of our plan to relocate this summer. The last day in town we toured McKinney before heading to the airport to head back north. We will be back in town for good in July and we cannot wait to share Jim's with our family! We stopped in for lunch, and everything was fresh. The salad was decent (love a good salad bar!), the ranch was BOMB, and the pizza was hot with a crispy crust. They seemed to rotate the pizzas pretty well for my tastes and there was always plenty to choose from. They even have frozen margarita that is self serve. I don't want to forget the service. We had amazing customer service everywhere in the area the whole weekend we were there. Everyone was friendly and made us feel like we were at home with family. I absolutely cannot wait to go back!

Michael R.

Yelp
Dollar for dollar you can't beat Jim's! Try the all-meat, bacon cheeseburger or supreme! And the buffet is as good as they come!
google avatar

Sawyer H.

Yelp
This place just isn't the same as it used to be. I realize that some of the changes were obviously intentional, but they weren't for the better. I continue to eat at Jim's a few times a year because it's nostalgic, sometimes we crave it and every time we are disappointed. While the new restaurant space may be bigger it's not well kept, the "party room" is full of random stuff from jackets to crockpots. The bathrooms reek, all you have to do is go get ice cream and you can smell them, the drink area is a mess, the tables are always dirty even when it's not busy, and all of the employees seem to socialize more than actually work. I understand socializing with your customers to build those relationships but it's usually the staff socializing with each other, at the end of the day this is a business and I honestly don't know how they are still open.
google avatar

Rebecca B.

Yelp
First time here ..... y'all i LOVE Jim's pizza and when i was told there was a buffet i was excited ... was welcomed when we first came in told us that someone would take our drink order but wow was i disappointed these pictures will explain ... the lady with green hair never once came by our table she went to every other table we grabbed our own drinks the guy behind the counter played on his phone left for awhile when we finally left we never saw him again as green haired girl tried to do what she could no one cleaned around the Buffett they stack hot pizza on top of cold pizza the cold pizza sat there and still stack 1/2 empty pans on top of the cold pizza i was just in Ahhh with disappointment .. when we paid out the green haired girl was very unprofessional, even had an attitude I understand she was left by her self, but did not need to share that attitude with me as I paid out. don't like giving bad reviews hopefully the manger/ owner will do better next time for future guest.

Yelp
Disappointed. I had high hopes for this meal. They've been around for awhile and my son had pizza there a couple weeks ago and he liked it. I ordered 2 large pizza special that comes with the drink. They have curbside delivered which is nice. I got my 2 pizzas but no drink. I didn't think about the drink until I was home and I wasn't going back. I had been craving pizza so I was looking forward to it. Seems it was overcooked. The crust was really hard. It was akin to a large saltine cracker with pizza toppings. My son said the pizza he had before was not like that. So, I'll try them again. Perhaps the next order will go better and I'll update the rating.

Johnny W.

Yelp
Loveeee their chicken bacon ranch pizza! Their jalapeño and pepperoni is really good too. Great customer service too !!! Definitely love the new area.
google avatar

Barbara Sue J.

Yelp
Their new location is fabulous and closer to shopping areas.... the pizza is sizzling hot on the buffet line... hard to find at other places. They offer up a salad bar with a great variety to include some of everything. Tonia was our wait person and she met our needs before we even asked. You feel valued in this place where the legacy of great food and good company prevail. I find myself going now every week. Their new address is 2107 El Dorado Parkway..near the McAllisters... yummy hot fresh pizza!!!
google avatar

Jeff A.

Yelp
First time having Jim's delivered tonight and the pizza was great just the way my family and I like it. I wish we would have tried Jim's sooner. We will definitely be ordering again
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
Went here for lunch, arrived around 11:15am. You would think at that time the pizza would be fresh and there would be a variety to choose from. NOPE!! There were 3 choices. Yesterdays cardboard pepperoni, yesterdays sausage, and the variety pan half full of different slices from yesterday. Stayed for one hour, only 1 pizza was put out for probably 20 people to share. The ranch tasted sour after trying a salad. This has been the same story for our last 2-3 trips. It used to be decent before they moved across town. QT is a better pizza choice than this place.
google avatar

Kim H.

Yelp
Great place for tired hungry travelers. Quick with order and very accommodating. Pizza was delicious and large servings of spaghetti. Salad were large and fresh. Wait staff checked on us and was very friendly. I was impressed when the waitress turned off the music because it included profanity! Kudos to you!!

Maddison M.

Yelp
Cause like wtf is this??? Pepperoni and jalapeño pizza?? It's outstandingly bad. It's egregious.
google avatar

Phillip B.

Yelp
Good quality pizzas and salads. The thin crust is my favorite but the hand toss is also delicious. I also give them thumbs up for their delivery people. I've gotten five deliveries and they are timely and hot.

Yelp
Jim's is a life saver! How can a pizza joint be a save the day? Well let me tell you! It all started when I left my lunch at home. I've been trying to eat healthy and I prep my lunches for the week and can you believe it I left it at home? I'm a teacher and my lunch is from 11:15 to 11:45. I looked at Jason's Deli, Jimmy John's, and China Sun. None of them could deliver before noon. Jim's opens at 10:30 and had my food delivered at 11:05. That is amazing! I was doing a happy dance all the way from the office because it was on time. Let me tell you about my chef salad. It had fresh greens topped with cheddar, ham, pepperoni and a side of olives. As I dove into the salad I discovered broccoli, carrots and celery hidden in my greenery yumminess! My son had a small pepperoni pizza. It was a huge hit with him. He gobbled half and lunch and the other half after school. They also did not scrimp on the Parmesan. They delivered it with 5 containers of cheese. My boy was so excited. Thanks Jim's for saving me from starvation or worse school cafeteria food!
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
It is incredibly difficult to master a pizza that is not only delicious hot and fresh but is even delicious when it's sitting at a buffet. Jim's has mastered it. Our first time here tonight and not only does the crust have a flaky crisp to it but the staff is friendly and it feels like home. The gentleman apologized for us not having a server - they are short staffed like everyone else right now - but there was zero reason for an apology. We've got the ability to serve ourselves and we can find the register to pay. All in all, great experience. Even the salad bar was great with a great selection. We will be back!

n o.

Yelp
I really wanted to give this place a try because I was really craving pizza and salad. But holy cow, just the first impression: their entrance glass door was soooooo dirty. Then the pizza buffet set up: pozza slices on top of each other, the spaghetti and sauce containers wide open with dried up spaghetti, and salad ingredients spilled out and not cleaned. Barf. I walked right out
google avatar

ravi c.

Yelp
Very friendly service and accommodating people. My wife is vegetarian so they gave us a marinara sauce without meat to our table. Salad and cinnamon pizza(dessert) are a must try. They also bake your fav pizza on request.
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
Jim's is a great local pizza place! I have been coming here for years and it is my first time back since the pandemic started. The new location is nice and the pizza is delicious as ever. One perk of Jim's is that you can request a pizza to be made for the buffet table. If you want to go to pizza buffet, this is the best one out there. (Chicken Bacon Ranch and Brownie Pizza are some of my personal favorites!)
google avatar

Jon D.

Yelp
I normally wouldn't write a bad review on a small family business but in this case I feel obligated! Not only was this by far the worst pizza restaurant I've ever experienced but I will go even a step further by saying this place makes Cici's pizza look like a Del Frisco's steakhouse!!! Yes Jim's pizza is that bad, from food quality to presentation down to atmosphere if you're looking for a horri pizza then this is your place! Final note mr restaurant owner, when checking out a customer at the register and you ask "how was everything?" And the customer replies with terrible, food was cold and looked like it had been sitting for hours your que might be to say hey sorry it was so awful and at the very least offer a comp for the next visit.... Instead saying "we'll try harder next time" does not get you a return customer!! Not looking for free rides here just what I paid for and at $16 per person for a weeknight pizza buffet I'd say that was the least you could offer

Yelp
Employees decided to close an hour early. The open sign was still on and door open. We drove 25 minutes to visit the new location. I was told they closed early and there was nothing they could do. Young girl asked if I wanted a manager. Erin was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. Called my wife a bitch. Never will return. I called to find out the owner's name and spoke with real manager, Aaron. He wasn't much help. Said he was out back taking a break and he'd "handle it", as he sounded annoyed. Never apologized for what happened. Disgusting employee and experience ruined Jim's for us. Never again.

Yelp
Best pizza in town! If you're going to try anything, highly recommend the chicken bacon ranch pizza.

Yelp
The pizza was very tasty with a perfectly crispy crust and a good sauce to crust ratio. I look forward to trying more of their pizzas!

Yelp
Superstar Pizza!!! The whole family loves going here! We dine in for the buffet and it's always hot and fresh! The white sauce chicken is delicious. Salad bar is always stocked and fresh. Servers are kind and friendly. Good mom and pop spot. If your in McKinney, stop in for lunch- truly a gem. Oh and for the cost; they simply can't be beat. Thanks Jims- see you soon!

Yelp
Looks like my review is gone, wrote it a few hours ago. I will try again. We went to pick up our order we had the special two toppings and a drink .We also ordered a salad. We we're handed the pizza with no drink, the cashier said we needed a coupon for the drink. Seriously!! It's 102 degrees outside and we couldn't have our drink . We drove 23 miles to Jim's pizza and 23 miles back to be told we could not have a drink. Crazy!! The cashier was so worried about a coupon instead of the customer being hot. Customer service SUCKED!!!! We just wanted the drink that came with the special that we already paid for!!! We never ever had to have a coupon for a drink at the old establishment.

Yelp
We go to Jim's around once a week but at least every other week. They are good and started making some new pizza's. They are great. I love the fact that I can ask for something and they make it. They are always fast and happy to help us. I love that they are always smiling and getting us to smile too. Great place.

Yelp
No one in this restaurant wear mask. Tables are close together and not spaced apart at all. My wife was sick to her stomach before we even got home, I got sick this morning. The pizza crust is more like cardboard, they stack fresh/uncooked pizzas on top of each other before putting them through the oven (considering cross contamination) The buffet stays empty and slim pickings, the staff seemed frazzled and there was not an even flow for the processes that were going on. Pizza sauce is bland. Not much seasoning. Overall not impressed with taste, cleanliness, freshness of food or employee interaction. While no one was rude they were rushed and disconnected.
