A true “Mom and Pop” burger joint! I ordered the #1 combo cheeseburger—delicious, with a very generous portion of fries. At $11 plus a $2 tip, it’s a great deal these days. The staff was pleasant and genuinely appreciative of our compliments. Parking at lunchtime can be a bit tight, but it’s worth the effort. The menu board offers a wide variety, and while the interior feels dated, it’s comfortable enough to sit and enjoy your meal. I’ve driven past this stand almost daily for 40 years—it’s always been here. A solid local spot to satisfy your burger craving at a fair price.

This place doesn't look like much on the outside. My husband found it on google. It looks like the inside restaurant is closed, but they do have outdoor seating available. The prices are affordable, and it seems like it's mostly the locals in the area that go to this place. All you see is cars pulling up and picking up phone orders. I find this super exciting. The food must be good. You can tell it wasn't door dash pick-ups either. We ordered: 1. Special breakfast burrito (It comes with bacon, ham, and sausage with egg, hashbrowns, cheese, and hot sauce.)- This had a little too much tomatoes and you couldn't taste the meat. We had put some country fried steak on it, and it was way better. 2. Country fried steak with gravy comes with biscuits and eggs - I was super excited for this, I was literally going to order a side of biscuits and gravy. It was a layer of biscuits, country fried steak smothered on gravy. I even asked for a side of gravy just in case. This hit the spot on a nice fall morning. 3. Bacon breakfast sandwich (hold the lettuce and tomato) - The bacon was crispy and meaty along with the fluffy bread. This was delicious. The lady who took my order was nice. The food itself was reasonably priced. They had a special for the special breakfast burrito, which was like $7.99. The country fried steak, I think, was like $12.99. For all the items I purchased, I think I paid $40, and that included a tip. I can't wait to come back and try more items.

Transients sleep all night in the patio area. Unsuspecting customers have no idea the filth on the outdoor tables and chairs they are sitting on. Be sure to check your patio table for used needles and feces. Unhealthy AND unsafe! Has been going on for years and the owners pretend like they can't understand English. I'm notifying the health dept! I've already contacted the city of Anaheim.

Having frequented eating here for several years with my family, I can attest that, despite changes in ownership over time, it continues to offer a superior dining experience compared to conventional fast-food alternatives. Burgers and fries are delicious!

Ordered the Jim’s Breakfast, comes with 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 2 sausages, hash browns and toast for $9.99 plus tax. Great deal, great tasting, employees are very friendly. I will definitely be back. Update: Day 2 meaning 2 days in a row. This time I got the steak and eggs, $13.99, just something about how good these potatoes and eggs taste and the steak was perfection and huge portion!

Came here for a quick bite with my mom. Not what I expected. I was looking for a total sit in dinner and I rolled up to an old school burger stand. Everything, old. Looks original. And it was super dope! Turns out there’s inside seating too, which is also that crusty rusty vibe. Probably not bringing my mom back to this spot. But a great place to grab a low maintenance burger, fries and onion rings with good vibes and chill friends.

I've been on the hunt for the best BULGOGI burger in LA and OC, and I think I found it! Jim's looks like your typical fast-food burger joint you'd find on any street corner. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but you don't come here for the ambiance. The first thing I noticed was that the bulgogi burger was huge and dripping with juices. They make them with all bulgogi rather than topping a burger patty like other places. After the first bite I was completely hooked! It tasted amazing with that charred texture and juicy flavor. It was so juicy it required about 20 napkins. I would insist on eating it here piping hot rather than letting it get cold and soggy. Everything else was pretty standard for a burger joint, but again, it's the bulgogi burger that really sets this place apart. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out on a true LA and OC classic!

A small, unassuming establishment on the corner of Ball Rd and Knott Ave. We visited on a weekend evening and ordered a breakfast burrito, lettuce-wrapped double bacon cheeseburger, zucchini fries, and a bulgogi burger. Just a heads up: while they do accept card, there is a 4% surcharge. They also charge extra for sauces. They do not serve orders by the sequence it was received; for instance, they served several people who arrived after we did, though understandably, their orders were comparatively smaller. We were not the only ones who received our order well-after new patrons - there was another gentleman there waiting for his order before we had arrived, and was experiencing what we were. It was well over 30 minutes before we finally received our food. The bulgogi burger I ordered was very flavorful and simple. It was literally just bulgogi, lettuce, and grilled onions in a bun. The bite I took of the breakfast burrito was also quite good, and though I didn't try it with their salsa, I was told the salsa had a nice kick and complemented the burrito well. The zucchini fries had a very light batter, but it was a bit underseasoned. The ranch really helped. The place isn't perfect, but for it being small (there were only 3 workers inside) and a local spot (you can tell there were regulars who frequented there just from how they went straight to the window to order without even glancing at the menu), I'd say it's worth trying if you're in the area.

A block from my junior high, I've been eating here since 1981. And now it's outlasted my junior high. Basic burger joint w/ messy burgers with shredded lettuce and big fat fries that spot the white paper bag. Came back 34 years later. (Told my wife I was going to hit the Jim.)

Online Order Review Jim's pretty fair in price when you're looking for that mom and pops burger joint. Both order's I've placed through ubereats has been fair and haven't had any issues. All the foods I've had; Cheeseburger, chili cheese fries, breakfast burrito and breakfast combo is what you expect. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a simple affordable meal that tastes good.

Possibly the worst breakfast burrito I've ever had. It was so greasy and just had an unpleasant taste. A couple of bites made my stomach hurt.

It was Sunday night burger joints were starting to close, but we were lucky to come across this hidden gem. Bulgogi Burger - 9/10 We know. Crazy right? This is the least expected spot you'll ever find a Bulgogi burger. But it's here, a Bulgogi burger in a dinky corner shop in this low-key sketchy area. It tasted amazing. It literally packed a punch. It's not a burger patty, it's bulgogi meat with such rich flavoring. Although we must warn you, you'll feel parched for a moment of time. But it's alright it's worth it When you look up this spot it looks sad, when you go to this spot it looks sad. But when you go this spot and get the bulgogi burger you'll be happy. Pictures do not do justice!

Good burgers but they keep forgetting or dont care to put the condiments I ask for when ordering on UE. I even called after placing the order and the guy said "he got me" and didn't add it. Not the greatest service.

I love coming to this place. Jim's serves some of the best food in OC. I personally love ordering the special breakfast burrito, hits the spot every time! The people that take your order are always so polite and they make the food right away. They have plenty of seating for the family and it's not difficult to park. Jim's is always a go to !! (:

Very friendly and courteous workers. Food is amazing and very reasonable prices. We enjoy coming from Riverside to enjoy an amazing meal and excellent service. Keep up the excellent work! As both are hard to come by these days! I definitely recommend it!

The burgers and fries remind me of when i was a kid . The food is fresh. They're always busy so it might take a bit but always worth it.

Family owned business. This is my regular go to spot on Friday nights. Able to call ahead to avoid any wait time, even when ordering at window there's not much wait. Staff is always very friendly and caters to their customers. First started coming here before Covid and inflation hit but even with the price spike it's still within reason and you definitely get your moneys worth. Portions are huge. My usual order is their chicken sandwich with chili cheese fries instead of regular fries. Portion of side of fries, zucchini or mushrooms are HUGE. I'm a ranch person and their ranch is AMAZING! With a side of yellow peppers.

Tbh I didn't enjoy my food. I spent 40 dollars for dinner when I could've gone to the habit with better flavor. Also if you're planning to pay with card the price goes up 4%. I don't recommend this place unless you want to throw your money away!

Let's hash it out! A nice mom n pop shop with decent amount of parking. My go-to is the now $7 Breakfast Burrito. It comes with ham, sausage, eggs, and hash browns. I order extra crispy hash browns with (green) sauce on the side. I also like that the burrito is not too oily. I have yet to try their milkshakesss! There's seating inside and outside and card is accepted

Amazing place! Been coming here for 5 years. Me and my boyfriend go whenever we can! The food is amazing and the workers are so nice! especially Jacob. Such a nice person and we love seeing him and talking to him when we order. We will definitely be coming here A LOT more! And the seating inside is small but adorable! We love to get breakfast and est it inside. Can't wait to come back!

Jim's is such a great mom and pop fast food place! If you're ever in the area, you need to give them a try! I've been going here for almost 7 years. They have always had great tasting food and their quality has been consistently good. My number one pick for this place is their Special Breakfast Burritos. Everyday from 7-11 am, you can get these for $5.99 which is such a steal! These burritos are loaded with bacon, ham, sausage, eggs, cheese, and hash browns. Jim's puts the right amount of hash browns in the breakfast burrito, and with all the meats, eggs, and cheese, it is a very filling and delicious breakfast burrito. This is by far my favorite breakfast burrito! They will ask you if you want hot sauce inside, so if you like it spicy then add it inside. You can also get the hot sauce container on the side. Their hot sauce is a homemade green salsa and definitely packs a nice kick of spicy for those that want it. I also really enjoy their Cheeseburger combo. The burger has that grilled fresh quality taste and comes with a lot of fries and a soda. All of this for a great price of $7.99. Pro tip: Everything here is cooked fresh when you order! It can get pretty crowded at times, so I would recommend calling in your order when you're about 15 minutes away. Just pay at the counter and you'll have your food ready to go!

Would not return! My cheeseburger along with it's tomato & lettuce was super soggy/old. My daughter ordered chicken strips & we were so disappointed . They should list it as "nuggets" because it was nowhere near the size or quality of a regular tender. The chicken meat was more like a mushed together rib meat & who knows what else mystery meat was in there. Super disappointed. Waste of money.

I normally don't eat breakfast but today I was up early and had a craving. My son and I both got a "Jim's Breakfast" with eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon and toast. Everything was good except for the hash browns. They were soggy, almost like mashed potatoes. Next time I guess I'll ask for extra crispy.

Food is good, considering the price for sure. Although the services is terrible. They're very rude and inconsiderate. If you're looking for a cheap burger place to eat, and get terrible customer service you have found the spot.

Just had their bacon and egg sandwich with a side of hash browns. Bothe were delicious. The wheat bread was fresh, the lettuce was green and fresh, and the bacon was crispy per my request. The side of hash browns was cooked perfect with some of them being crispy and browned nicely. Will have both of them again in the future.

Most Jim's burgers are fading or over modernizing or adding the un traditional to the menu Jim's Burgers have always been a icon to my growing up. So hard to find a traditional style Jim's keeping the legacy alive. This Jim's is a mom and pop establishment keeping with the tradition when you pass on the street you turn to the corner and smell the tradition. The large beef patty the large bun and the shredded lettuce and good slice tomato. Other accessories mushrooms and crispy bacon. They have a DUI fries mix I told about before. I like this place I need to try more of the menu they have some Mexican options that look good to try and maybe there breakfast. Thank you for a good lunch

I came today on Christmas Eve and they hooked it up!! $14 for large fry and large onion rings and it was piping hot. The service came fast, and they're attentive to their customers. If you're looking for an alternative to chain fast food, Jim's is the place. They're a small business, but I never complain about price increases. They always make it worth your dollar. The bags were HEAVY when he handed them over!

Public service announcement: I can't remember the last time I ate food this disgusting. I'd been wanting to try it for years, because I'm always on the lookout for good chili cheese fries, but these chili cheese fries were anything but good. I imagine this chili is what dog food tastes like, watered down dog food. The texture was off and so was the flavor. I only took a second bite because I couldn't believe what my senses were telling me. I also ordered the teriyaki chicken, which was gristly tough, and tasted old and microwaved. My wife had a burger which she hated. I tried a bite and agreed with her. We couldn't eat any of it, returned it, left and we went to In-n-out. I really don't like writing a bad review for a small business, but they should be embarrassed to serve this slop, especially at these prices. The place has been there forever, and you can see pics of what the food used to look like. I think they are cutting too many corners. I hope this review lights a fire and they fix the food and save their business, but right now 1 star is generous.

Delicious hamburgers that are freshly prepared. Insider hack - order with their sauce on the side if you're getting the burger to go. Otherwise the buns tend to get a little soggy if you don't immediately eat it.

I absolutely love this place. The Bulgogi burger is out of this world. The fries are incredible. Their fountain drinks are great. Their ranch? Jesus... and they're always consistent too. I'd recommend this place to anyone every single day of the week.

GREAT NEWS!!!! Today is 7/6/22 , I found out Jims Burgers has new owners!! That's fantastic!! The new owner's name is Jay, and he's an honest enthusiastic young man and that's what Jim's needed. I did not trust the previous older gentleman owner who worked there before, and by the reviews, I wasn't the only one. Now that Jim's has a new owner, I'll be going back a lot more. I just had a bunless double cheesburger and onion rings/french fried combo, and it was fantastic!! Next I want to try their fish and chips, as a I heard from my neighbor they are very good. Congratulations Jay, I'll be a regular customer now!!

I gave this place a try after being disappointed with so many other burger joints. If you're looking for a diner burger joint, this is it. All the diner flavors are there and not lacking. The fries were seasoned perfectly, crispy outside, soft inside. The burger is exactly what you expect, basic but with good flavor. I recommend the bulgogi burger too. Juicy, flavorful and messy. Just like it should be. I ordered when I got there but several people called in their order and just paid and picked up. And although it didn't take too long to get my order, I'm sure it gets crackin cause like 8 different people showed up while I was ordering and waiting. Definitely going back to check out the breakfast.

Came in from Vegas straight to Jims!! Loved this place when I lived here! Fries are the best here!! Cheese fries bomb!!! Chili cheese fries bomb!!!! Plain fries all bomb!! Burgers are delicious and honestly customer service is great!! Keep up the good work

The owner is super sweet. I used to come here as a kid and still do. The service is always fast and the prices are amazing! Not to mention the food is great! Definitely would recommend it!!!!

I come about twice a month. The food is always delicious. What I appreciate the most if my wife always has complicated orders and will not eat the food if not made to her liking. Jim's always confirms back to me and gets it right.
